Note by this blog author would be, and you can quote me: “I hate Donald Trump. I believe he is a scum-bag in his own right (the Roy Cohn factor) and was altogether too willing to perform political fellatio on the worst of the criminal element in the religious right (the Coe cult ‘mikes’ factor represented in Pence-Pompeo) as well as sucking up to the world-class international criminal actor Bibi Netanyahu. On the other hand, I should say Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are equally evil in their own right. This re-posted article captures the reasons why, never-mind Trump himself, I DO NOT despise Trump supporters, not that I love them all, and most certainly I do not admire the vast majority of Biden/Harris supporters whose civics education (constitutional ethics) seems to have somehow gone missing at best, or have been discarded as ‘inconvenient’ at worst. Many of the conservative but snookered voters are law abiding and principled people, as well, many of the liberal voters in denial are not.”

NOTE FROM GLENN GREENWALD: On Friday, a relatively obscure Twitter user with fewer than 7,000 followers — posting under the pseudonym MartyrMade — posted one of the most mega-viral threads of the year. Over the course of thirty-five tweets, the writer, a podcast host whose real name is Darryl Cooper, set out to explain the mindset that has led so many Trump supporters to believe that the 2020 election was fraudulent and, more generally, to lose faith and trust in most U.S. institutions of authority.

Numerous journalists, including me, promoted the thread as one of the most insightful analyses yet published explaining the animating convictions underlying the MAGA movement. That night, Fox News host Tucker Carlson devoted a seven-minute segment to doing nothing more than reading Cooper’s thread. At the CPAC conference on Sunday, former President Donald Trump explicitly recommended the thread using Cooper’s name. In the last four days, Cooper’s Twitter account has gained more than 70,000 followers. Clearly, this thread resonated strongly with that political faction as a true and important explanation of how many MAGA voters have come to understand the world.

For our Outside Voices freelance section, we asked Cooper to elaborate on his influential thread, with a focus on what led him to these observations about prevailing MAGA sentiments and why he believes they are important for people to understand. As Cooper notes, he does not share all of the perceptions and beliefs he is conveying, although he shares many of them. Instead, based on the recognition that most media outlets are incapable of understanding let alone accurately describing the views of a group of people they view with little more than unmitigated contempt, condescension and scorn, he believes it is imperative that people understand the actual reality of what is motivating so many Trump voters in their views, perception and beliefs — regardless of whether each particular belief is accurate or not.

We also believe this understanding is vital, which is why we are happy to publish Cooper’s essay. It should go without saying that, as it true of all of our articles published on Outside Voices — which we treat as an op-ed page — our publishing of this article does not signify agreement with all of its claims, but only our belief that it is a viewpoint worth airing.

By Darryl Cooper

I quit Twitter last August. Quit for good. Other than posting links to two new episodes of my podcast, I stayed away for eight months and didn’t regret a thing. Around mid-June I let myself be persuaded that social media engagement was part of having a podcast, so I dipped back in, promising myself I’d avoid being pulled into politics. Things haven’t gone as planned.

The temptation was disguised cleverly as a conversation with a friend’s mother. She was visiting from upstate New York and we got to talking while my buddy was in the house tending to my goddaughter. She’s a hardcore Trumper from a less cynical generation that believes what she hears from sources she trusts. She’d been hounding her son about the stolen election all week, and he’d been trying to disabuse her of various theories involving trucked-in ballots and hacked counting machines. Now she had me cornered and put the question to me: “Do YOU think the election was legit?” So I told her the truth: I don’t know.

By the time my friend had put the baby to bed and rejoined us, we were waist-deep in a discussion about what happened last year, and she was satisfied that I was on her side. “See?!? He (she meant me) knows what’s going on! I’m not crazy. He’s smart, and HE knows!” My friend pulled the Captain Picard facepalm, and said, “Darryl, what the f*ck are you telling her?”

What I told her was some version of the Twitter thread Tucker Carlson read on air Friday night and which President Trump, using my name, then explicitly promoted in his speech to CPAC on Sunday, which has blown my inbox, and my promise to stay away from politics, to smithereens.

I told her I didn’t know much about the ballots, or the voting machines, or some company that she’d heard had ties to Venezuela. I didn’t follow Sidney Powell, or Lin Wood, or the details of the cases proceeding through the system. I think it was around the time Rudy Giuliani chose a landscape & gardening emporium as the location for a press conference on what would have been the greatest political scandal in American history that I made the conscious decision to stop paying attention. Or maybe it was the dripping hair dye, or something about a kraken — it’s all sort of blended together these days.

But I felt for her. She wasn’t the first person with whom I’d had the discussion, and I felt for all of them. I’ve had the discussion often enough that I feel comfortable extracting a general theory about where these people are coming from.

RUSSIAGATE: THE ORIGINAL SIN

Like my friend’s mother, most of them believe some or all of the theories involving fraudulent ballots, voting machines, and the rest. Scratch the surface and you’ll find that they’re not particularly attached to any one of them. The specific theories were almost a kind of synecdoche, a concrete symbol representing a deeply felt, but difficult to describe, sense that whatever happened in 2020, it was not a meaningfully democratic presidential election. The counting delays, the last-minute changes to election procedures, the unprecedented coordinated censorship campaign by Big Tech in defense of Biden were all understood as the culmination of the pan-institutional anti-Trump campaign they’d watched unfold for over four years.

Many of them deny it now, but a lot of 2016 Trump voters were worried during the early stages of the Russia collusion investigation. True, the evidence seemed thin, and the very idea that the US & allied security apparatus would allow Trump to take office if they really thought he might be under Russian blackmail seemed a bit preposterous on its face. But to many conservatives in 2016 and early 2017, it seemed equally preposterous that the institutions they trusted, and even the ones they didn’t, would go all-in on a story if there wasn’t at least something to it. Imagine the consequences for these institutions if it turned out there was nothing to it.

We now know that the FBI and other intelligence agencies conducted covert surveillance against members of the Trump campaign based on evidence manufactured by political operatives working for the Clinton campaign, both before and after the election. We know that those involved with the investigation knew the accusations of collusion were part of a campaign “approved by Hillary Clinton… to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security service.” They might have expected such behavior from the Clintons — politics is a violent game and Hillary’s got a lot of scalps on her wall. But many of the people watching this happen were Tea Party types, in spirit if not in actual fact. They give their kids a pocket Constitution for their birthday. They have Yellow Ribbon bumper stickers, and fly the POW/MIA flag under the front-porch Stars and Stripes, and curl their lip at people who talk during the National Anthem at ballgames. They’re the people who believed their institutions when they were told Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. To them, the intel community using fake evidence (including falsified documents) to spy on a presidential campaign is a big deal.

It may surprise many liberals, but most conservative normies actually know the Russia collusion case front and back. A whole ecosystem sprouted up to pore over every new development, and conservatives followed the details as avidly as any follower of liberal conspiracy theorists Seth Abramson or Marcy Wheeler. When the world learned of the infamous meeting between Trump campaign officials and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, it seemed like a problem and many Trump supporters took it seriously. Deep down, even those who rejected the possibility of open collusion worried that one of Trump’s inexperienced family members, or else a sketchy operative glomming onto the campaign, might have done something that, whatever its real gravity, could be successfully framed in a manner to sway a dozen of John McCain’s friends in the Senate.

Then, Trump supporters learned that Veselnitskaya was working with Fusion GPS, the political research and PR firm used by the Clinton campaign to formulate and spread the collusion accusations. They learned that the anti-Clinton information that was supposed to be the subject of the notorious meeting was provided by the same firm. They learned that she’d had dinner with Glenn Simpson, the owner of Fusion GPS, both the day before, and the day after the meeting. Needless to say, Trump supporters were skeptical of Simpson’s claim that Veselnitskaya’s meeting with Trump campaign officials never came up during either of their dinner dates, given that the content of the meeting was alleged to be the very treasonous, impeachable crime his firm was being paid to investigate and publicize.

There’s no need to relive all the details of the Russia collusion scam. The point is that conservatives were following it all very closely, in real time, and they noticed when things didn’t add up. After James Comey told Fox News’ Bret Baier that, even at the time of their interview in April 2018, he didn’t know who had funded the Steele dossier, conservatives noticed when the December 2019 DOJ Inspector General’s report showed that he had been informed of the dossier’s provenance in October 2016. And they asked themselves: Why would he lie? Lying to investigators about one’s knowledge of or involvement in a potentially criminal act is often taken as consciousness of guilt.

This was the bone that stuck in conservatives’ craw throughout the two years of hysteria over Russia. Why would Comey lie about knowing where the dossier came from? Why would the people involved claim to have seen evidence that never seemed to materialize? If the point of the Special Counsel is to take the investigation out of the hands of line investigators to avoid the appearance of political influence, why staff the office with known partisans and the same FBI personnel who originated and oversaw the case? Why was the relationship between Russian lawyer Veselnitskaya and Fusion GPS being dismissed as irrelevant? Why were people who must know better continuing to insist that the Steele dossier was originally funded by Republicans long after the claim had been debunked? Why wasn’t the media asking even these most obvious questions? And why were they giving themselves awards for refusing to ask those questions, and viciously attacking journalists who did ask them? These journalists are intelligent people — at least they present that way on television. Is it possible that these questions simply had not occurred to them? It seemed unlikely.

Many Trump supporters reasoned that it was simply not possible to carry on this campaign without some degree of coordination. That coordination perhaps did not take place in smoke-filled rooms (though they weren’t ruling it out), but at least through incentives, pressure, and vague but certain threats all well-understood by people who moved about in the same professional and social class, and who complained that they could “smell the Trump support” when they were unfortunate enough to have to patronize a Wal-Mart.

If there was a time when Trump supporters feared Robert Mueller’s goon squad, that time had passed by the 2018 midterm elections. Conservatives knew by then the whole case was bunk, and they were salivating at the prospect of watching him get chopped up by the likes of Jim Jordan and Devin Nunes. And he did.

The collusion case wasn’t only used to damage Trump in the polls or distract from his political agenda. It was used as an open threat to keep people from working in the administration. Taking a job in the Trump administration meant having one’s entire life investigated for anything that could fill CNN’s anti-Trump content requirement for another few days, whether or not it held up to scrutiny. Many administration employees quit because they were being bankrupted by legal fees due to an investigation that was known by its progenitors to be a political operation. The Department of Justice, press, and government used falsehoods to destroy lives and actively subvert an elected administration almost from the start. Perhaps worst of all, some portion of the American population was driven to the edge of madness by two years of being told that American politics had become a real-life version of The Manchurian Candidate. And not by Alex Jones, but by intelligence chiefs and politicians, amplified by media organizations which threw every ounce of their accumulated credibility behind the insanity.

For two years, Trump supporters had been called traitors and Russian bots for casting ballots for “Vladimir Putin’s c*ck holster.” They’d been subjected to a two-year gaslighting campaign by politicians, government agencies, and elite media. It took real fortitude to stand up to the unanimous mockery and scorn of these powerful institutions. But those institutions had gambled their power and credibility, and they’d lost, and now Trump supporters expected a reckoning. When no reckoning was forthcoming – when the Greenwalds, and Taibbis, and Matés of the world were not handed the New York Times’ revoked Pulitzers for correctly and courageously standing against the tsunami on the biggest political story in years – these people shed many illusions about how power really operates in their country.

Trump supporters know – I think everyone knows – that Donald Trump would have been impeached and probably indicted if Robert Mueller had proven that he’d paid a foreign spy to gather damaging information on Hillary Clinton from sources connected to Russian intelligence and disseminate that information in the press. Many of Trump’s own supporters wouldn’t have objected to his removal if that had happened. Of course that is exactly what the Clinton campaign actually did, yet there were no consequences for it. Indeed, there has been almost no criticism of it.

Trump supporters had gone from worrying the collusion might be real, to suspecting it might be fake, to seeing proof that it was all a scam. Then they watched as every institution – government agencies, the press, Congressional committees, academia – blew right past it and gaslit them for another year. To this day, something like half the country still believes that Trump was caught red-handed engaging in treason with Russia, and only escaped a public hanging because of a DOJ technicality regarding the indictment of sitting presidents. Most galling, conservatives suspect that within a few decades liberals will use their command over the culture to ensure that virtually everyone believes it. This is where people whose political identities have for decades been largely defined by a naive belief in what they learned in civics class began to see the outline of a Regime that crossed not only partisan, but all institutional boundaries. They’d been taught that America didn’t have Regimes, but what else was this thing they’d seen step out from the shadows to unite against their interloper president?

THE ESTABLISHMENT UNITES

GOP propaganda still has many conservatives thinking in terms of partisan binaries. Even the dreaded RINO (Republican-In-Name-Only) slur serves the purposes of the party, because it implies that the Democrats represent an irreconcilable opposition. But many Trump supporters see clearly that the Regime is not partisan. They know that the same institutions would have taken opposite sides if it had been a Tulsi Gabbard vs. Jeb Bush election. It’s hard to describe to people on the Left, who are used to thinking of American government as a conspiracy and are weaned on stories about Watergate, COINTELPRO, and Saddam’s WMD, how shocking and disillusioning this was for people who encouraged their sons and daughters to go fight for their country when George W. Bush declared war on Iraq.

They could have managed the shock if it only involved the government. But the behavior of the press is what radicalized them. Trump supporters have more contempt for journalists than they have for any politician or government official, because they feel most betrayed by them. The idea that the corporate press is driven by ratings and sensationalism has become untenable over the last several years. If that were true, there’d be a microphone in the face of every executive branch official demanding to know what the former Secretary of Labor meant when he said that Jeffrey Epstein “belonged to intelligence.” The corporate press is the propaganda arm of the Regime these people are now seeing in outline. Nothing anyone says will ever make them unsee that, period.

This is profoundly disorienting. Again, we’re not talking about pre-2016 Greenwald readers or even Ron Paul libertarians, who swallowed half a bottle of red pills long ago. These are people who attacked Edward Snowden for “betraying his country,” and who only now are beginning to see that they might have been wrong. It’s not because the parties have been reversed, and it’s not because they’re bitter over losing. They just didn’t know. If any country is going to function over the long-term, not everyone can be a revolutionary. Most people have to believe what they’re told and go with the flow most of the time. These were those people. I’m pretty conservative by temperament, but most of my political friends are on the Left. I spend a good deal of our conversations simply trying to convince them that these people are not demons, and that this political moment is pregnant with opportunity.

Many Trump supporters don’t know for certain whether ballots were faked in November 2020, but they know with apodictic certainty that the press, the FBI, and even the courts would lie to them if they were. They have every reason to believe that, and it’s probably true. They watched the corporate press behave like animals for four years. Tens of millions of people will always see Brett Kavanaugh as a gang rapist, based on an unproven accusation, because of CNN. And CNN seems proud of that. They helped lead a lynch mob against a high school kid. They cheered on the most deadly and destructive riots in decades.

Conservatives have always complained that the media had a liberal bias. Fine, whatever: they still thought the press would admit the truth if they were cornered. They don’t believe that anymore. What they’ve witnessed in recent years has shown them that the corporate press will say anything, do anything, to achieve a political objective, or simply to ruin someone they perceive as an opponent. Since my casual Twitter thread ended up in the mouths of Tucker Carlson and Donald Trump, I’ve received hundreds of messages from people saying that I should prepare to be targeted. Others don’t think that will happen, but even most of them don’t think it’s an irrational concern. We’ve seen an elderly lady receive physical threats after a CNN reporter accosted her at home to accuse her of aiding Kremlin disinformation ops. We’ve seen them threaten to dox someone for making a humorous meme.

Throughout 2020, the corporate press used its platform to excuse and encourage political violence. Time Magazine told us that during the 2020 riots, there were weekly conference calls involving – among others – leaders of the protests, local officials responsible for managing them, and members of the media charged with reporting on the events. They worked together with Silicon Valley to control the messaging about the ongoing crisis for maximum political effect. In case of a Trump victory, the same organization had protesters ready to be activated by text message in 400 cities the day after the election. Every town with a population over 50,000 would have been in for some pre-planned, centrally-controlled mayhem. In other countries we call that a color revolution.

Throughout the summer, establishment governors took advantage of COVID to change voting procedures, often over the protests of the state legislatures. It wasn’t only the mass mailing of live ballots: they also lowered signature matching standards, axed existing voter ID and notarization requirements, and more. Many people reading this might think those were necessary changes, either due to the virus or to prevent potential voter suppression. I won’t argue the point, but the fact is that the US Constitution states plainly that “The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections… shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof.” As far as conservatives were concerned, state governors used COVID to unconstitutionally usurp their legislatures’ authority to unilaterally alter voting procedures just months before an election in order to help Biden make up for a massive enthusiasm gap by gaming the mail-in ballot system. Lawyers can argue over the legitimacy of the procedural modifications; the point is that conservatives believe in their bones – and I think they’re probably right – that the cases would have been treated differently, in both the media and in court, if the parties were reversed.

And then came the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. Liberals dismiss the incident because, after four years of obsessing over the activities of the Trump children, they insist they’re not interested in the behavior of the candidate’s family members. But this misses the point entirely. Big Tech ran a coordinated censorship campaign against a major American newspaper while the rest of the media spread base propaganda to protect a political candidate. And once again, the campaign crossed institutional boundaries, with dozens of former intelligence officials throwing their weight behind the baseless and now-discredited claim that the laptop was part of a Russian disinformation campaign. That lie was promoted by Big Tech companies, while the true information being reported by The New York Post about the laptop’s contents was suppressed. That is what happened.

Even the tech companies themselves now admit it was a “mistake” – Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said it was an error and apologized – but the election is over, Joe Biden has appointed Facebook’s government regulations executive as his ethics arbiter, so who cares, right? It hardly needs saying that if The New York Times had Donald Trump Jr.’s laptop, full of pictures of him smoking crack and engaging in group sex, lots of lurid family drama, and emails with pretty direct discussions of political corruption, the Paper of Record would not have had its accounts suspended for reporting on it. Let’s remember that stories of Trump being pissed on by Russian prostitutes and blackmailed by Putin were promoted as fact across the media spectrum and used as the basis for a multi-year criminal investigation, when the only evidence was a document paid for by his opposition and disavowed by its primary source.

The reaction of Trump supporters to all this was not, “no fair!” That was how they felt about Romney’s “binders of women” in 2012 or Harry Reid’s lie that Romney paid no federal taxes. This is different. Now they were beginning to see, accurately, that the institutions of their country — all of them — had been captured by people prepared to use any means to exclude them from the political process. And yet they showed up in record numbers to vote. Trump got 13 million more votes than in 2016 – 10 million more than Hillary Clinton had gotten.

As election day became election night and the tallies rolled in, Trump supporters allowed themselves some hope. But when the four critical swing states (and only those states) went dark around midnight, they knew.

Over the following weeks, they were shuffled around between honest critics, online grifters, and media scam artists selling them conspiracy theories. They latched onto one then another increasingly outlandish theory as they tried to put a concrete name on something very real, of which election day was only the culmination. Media and Big Tech did all they could to make things worse. Everything about the election was strange, confusing, and unprecedented – the changes to procedure, unprecedented mail-in voting, counting delays, etc – but rather than admit that and bring everything into the open, they banned discussion of it (even in private messages!), and launched an absurd propaganda campaign telling us that it was – I’m not making this up – the most well-run and secure election in American history.

Conservatives know – again, I think probably everyone knows – that just as Don Jr.’s laptop would have been the story of the century, if everything about the election dispute was the same, except the parties were reversed, suspicions about the outcome would have been taken very seriously. See 2016 for proof.

Even the judiciary had forfeited its credibility with these voters because of the opposition’s embrace of political violence. Trump supporters say, with good reason: What judge will stick his neck out for Trump knowing he’ll be destroyed in the media as a violent mob burns down his house? Maybe most judges would do their jobs, but given the events of the last four years it’s not an unreasonable concern, and the concern itself is enough to cast the whole system in doubt. Again, we know, thanks to Time Magazine, that riots were planned in cities across the country if Trump had won. Sure, they were “protests”, but they were planned by the same people as during the summer, and everyone knows what it would have meant. The Chamber of Commerce took the threat of a second round of destruction of its members’ property seriously enough to offer its assistance to the “well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information” – Time’s words, not mine.

Trump voters were adamant that the governors’ changes to election procedures were unconstitutional. Everything in law is open to interpretation, but it doesn’t require a Harvard Law degree to read Article 1, Section 4 (quoted above) and come to that conclusion. But they also knew the cases wouldn’t see a courtroom until after the election, and what judge was going to make a ruling that would be framed as a judicial coup d’etat just because some governors didn’t go through the proper channels? Even a judge willing to accept the personal risk would have also to be willing to inflict the chaos that would follow on the country. Even a well-intentioned judge could convince himself that, whatever happened or didn’t happen, as a public servant he had no right to impose an opinion guaranteed to lead to mass violence – because the threat was not implied, it was direct. Some Trump supporters, unfortunately, thought the license for political violence applied to everyone; the hundreds of them now sitting in federal jails learned the hard way that it wasn’t true.

From the perspective of Trump’s supporters, the entrenched bureaucracy and security state subverted their populist president from day one. The natural guardrails of the Fourth Estate were removed because the press was part of the operation. Election rules were changed in an unconstitutional manner that could only be challenged after the deed was done, when judges and officials would be playing chicken with a direct threat of burning cities. Political violence was legitimized and encouraged. Major newspapers and sitting presidents were banned from social media, while the opposition enjoyed free rein to promote stories that were discredited once it was too late to matter. Conservatives put these things together and concluded that, whatever happened on November 3, 2020, it was not a free and fair democratic election in any sense that would have had meaning before Donald J. Trump was a candidate.

Trump supporters were led down some rabbit holes. But they are absolutely right that the institutions and power centers of this country have been monopolized by a Regime that believes they are beneath representation, and will observe no limits to prevent them getting it. I encourage people on the Left to recognize the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in front of them. You’re not going to agree with the conservatives on everything. But if in 2004 I had told you that the majority of the GOP voter base would soon be seeing the folly of the Iraq War, becoming skeptical of state surveillance, and beginning to see the need for action to help the poor and working classes, you’d have told me such a thing would transform the country. Take the opportunity. These people are not demons, and they are ready to listen in a way they haven’t in a long, long time.

18 July 2022 update by RTW: One year on, this message from the ‘progressive right’ has been simply buried in the cacophony of condemnation and finger pointing on the parts of both the ‘woke’ left and ‘religious’ right due to massive amounts cash piled into the political hate mongering from elites on both sides.

When greed supersedes racism, suddenly, ‘everyone is a nigger.’ Trump’s manipulated ‘white trash’ or ‘crackers’ had failed to understand it is identical underlying force, greed, and greed’s attending model of exploitation, had been the origin of chattel slavery that now underwrites the collapse of the blue collar, white middle class. We shouldn’t blame Trump for creating the conditions creating a new class of honky crackers (globalism did that) but certainly Trump exploited their ‘hope’ when he surrounded himself with world class criminal sociopaths on the extreme right of the 1% (the 2019 Trump cabinet included 17 millionaires, 2 one hundred million plus millionaires and 1 billionaire; altogether worth $3.2 billion.) Any expectation this crew would have sacrificed any portion of their fortunes (via profit losses) by reinvesting in the USA rather than cheap, outsourced labor, is fantasy par excellence. We’re all ‘niggers’ now, not to mention ‘useless eaters.’

What has manifest since Bill Clinton deregulated the American economy is a form of 21st Century slavery that doesn’t give a damn for the color of your skin and it doesn’t matter to any of the 1% whether your ‘master’ is on the left or right. Just don’t hurt the bottom line (profit) because the underlying motive is ‘all you stupid white niggers, if the global 1% can get you all fighting with (the dumber than fuck) antifa, as well as hating blacks, Mexicans, kulaks and chinks, we’ll never have to worry about y’all getting together to throw us out.’ So, listen up, whitey, here’s the what and how behind the modern rendition of what’s happening to you, with a relevant thumbnail history:

When America’s ‘European morality’ had ‘matured’ and the abolition of slavery became a political expediency of Abraham Lincoln…

“If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that”

…following the war which ‘saved the union’, ’emancipation’ was morphed into 100 years of ‘Jim Crow era’ where freed slaves and their descendants were denied voting rights and were literally “barbecued” or lynched after having been tortured to death, sometimes burned alive or dragged to death, with large attending crowds photographed with the dead  victims at these events made into postcards that were delivered by the United States Postal Service.

In fact Lincoln (and his successors) didn’t give a rat’s ass for the civil rights of blacks, he just wanted (and did) what was necessary to keep his political power intact while serving an industrialized North with it’s own system of chattel exploitation (keep reading.)

Abandoning their ’40 acres and a mule’ (a sort of compensation towards a ‘new’ post-slavery life) in droves, over six million blacks fled the South’s ‘crackermania’, migrating to cities in the West and North of the USA where they took the bait of the industrial corporations offers of factory work; that is, until the factories were no longer profitable and the corporations abandoned these communities to their own devices with little opportunity at community advancement or even sustaining what they’d gained in the short term. Locked into a subsequent social prejudice driven poverty with menial labor afforded to the LUCKY ONES, that’s the short history leading to America’s ‘black slums.’ Nobody with the political power to repair this actually gave a damn, they were all bought then, little different to now.

That’s the principle, in short, of what drives today’s globalism and makes everyone poor, regardless of color of skin. Corporations have taken their capital out of America’s communities to invest in cheaper labor abroad and the white working class is collapsing into the same poverty that had been the experience of the black communities previous to this. Now, how’s it feel to be the ‘nigger’? And it doesn’t stop there, because when they decide you’re too much burden, or think you’re becoming ‘uppity’, they’ll ‘barbecue’ you too (little different to any hellfire missile launched outside the empire’s “homeland”)

Maybe, just maybe, whitey, y’all should look at setting some history aside and begin negotiating some détente and political alliances with black people in the lower middle class communities you should be grateful hadn’t adopted the attitude of ‘the only good cracker is a dead cracker.’ From there alliances might be bridged deeper into those ghettos with a seething anger at what had happened to them and what is now happening to you. Nobody has to be in love, only reasoned, civil and fair.

The concluding reality is, if the 1% are Sneetches decorated with stars, and Trump is a Sneetch with a star, what Trump actually promised you, that is recovering the short lived ‘golden age’ of the white America of the 1950s, that horse has bolted the barn. It ain’t coming back and the Sneetches with stars who stole it from you aren’t going to share the wealth because criminals don’t voluntarily surrender their business models. Whatever opportunities might exist aren’t going to manifest from nostalgia; and they won’t manifest at all so long as the filthy rich can keep you all hating, divided and fighting from a stance of ignorance.

A closing note would be to the crackers’ adversaries, that is libtards in general, Black Lives Matter (shouldn’t all life matter?) and antifa; insofar as the one percent millionaire and de facto President Harris using you like the idiots you are, you’re dumber than this cracker portrayed wondering at a life in a world that never did exist and never will exist:

She’s an incarceration queen chosen by corporate boards to protect their wealth from you, anyone and everyone, end of story. Maybe all you libtards should look at opening a dialogue with the ‘crackers’ … because if you were actually ‘woke’ you’d understand we’re all niggers now.

neoliberal nationalist‘ is my new name for the American empire faction that can hardly be distinguished from their sometimes neoconservative adversaries. This is on account of the ‘neoliberal nationalists’ insatiable lust for control over every detail of the American people & nation/state, right down to who can express what perceptions, particularly when someone might have made salient points exposing ‘neoliberal nationalist’ lies. Example given, Twitter shutting down any links to the Hunter Biden laptop story by The New York Post. Can’t have a truthful counter-narrative of Ukraine corruption, Joe Biden and Burisma in circulation, now, can we? At least not from the ‘neoliberal nationalist’ point of view.

Following on the previous post, pointing to divisive rhetoric, the ‘neoliberal nationalist’ aligned intelligence apparatus continues piling on with further propaganda seeding division and violence. These following quotes are from a single so-called ‘analysis’ at a ‘professional intelligence’ blog:

“WITH DOWNTOWN WASHINGTON RESEMBLING a large military encampment, a repeat of last week’s shocking assault on the Capitol Complex is highly improbable. But America could witness escalating levels of violence across many states, as supporters of the January 6 insurrection continue to organize themselves into a coherent armed movement…”

“Supporters of the nationalist insurrection that shook the nation on January 6…”

“The militants who will descend on Washington in the coming days are unlikely to engage in all-out hostilities against as many as 20,000 members of the US National Guard…”

“…the insurrectionists will engage the forces of the government asymmetrically -that is, by resorting to strategies and tactics of unconventional warfare…”

“…in these rural red states the insurgents will be more likely to be met with sympathy from some members of law enforcement”

“…these militants are increasingly reaching out to each other, convinced that their leader was unjustly removed from power in a fraudulent election. The possibility that these militants will begin to engage in an armed insurgency in the service of an organized, nationwide insurrection, is very real…” [1]

Recalling there was a single death by gunfire in the initial Capitol “insurrection”, and that weapon was fired by Federal security, notice in a context of armed “insurgents” & “militants” organizing “insurrection” Trump has just been named “their leader” as though he accepts and is fully complicit in extreme armed nationalist “insurgency” in a sense of hands on directing an armed insurrection. Never-mind Trump, although blinded by narcissism leading to poor judgement, is likely not nearly so bigoted and ignorant as proposed in the ‘neoliberal nationalist’ rhetoric.

In fact, rightly or wrongly, given indisputable history and facts suppressed in corporate media, reasonable people could suspect the election had been ‘stolen.'[2]

The excerpted quotes are, at best, simply ignorant & highly irresponsible or, at worst, resemble classic psyops integrated to propaganda.

To the title of this article is why: a lynch mob mentality is a highly defective intelligence that points (a metaphor) to the brain’s (or the collective brain) having been stimulated to archaic & primitive feedback loop or a negative ‘meme’ reinforcing an aggravated panic. This is easily achieved across a wider spectrum with the stimulus of modern media. This defective mentality is not science fiction, little different to Mary Shelley’s monster cannot be construed ‘science fiction’ in context of the many consequent caricatures or portraits of horror it had inspired.

Just now, it is the ‘neoliberal nationalist’ exercising a much more intense manifestation of this mob mentality than Trump ever had. The impeachment ‘lynch mob’ at the Capitol is a microcosm of what is being ‘seeded’ in the greater populace with potential for immense negative consequence needing only a trigger on a wide scale, whether by Trump’s partisans or, in easily flipped circumstance, the anarchist antifa.

In fact (noticing the Department of Defense has been engaged quite closely in unfolding events) it would only take an organization like the Defense Intelligence Agency to determine, and the Pentagon to act on, the plausible possibility Dominion voting machines had fraudulently turned key states and the electoral college into a Biden ‘victory’, for the 20,000 National Guard ‘securing’ the inauguration find themselves enforcing a Trump swearing in as President. That’s how razor thin we could be away from the ‘neoliberal nationalist’ side’s insurrection and the insurgency of antifa. It is here we should all give attention to a recently ‘politically corrected’ historical artifact, that is General Robert E Lee.

If Lee alone (by might of his military genius) sustained the 1860s Southern military endeavor at least 2 years beyond it’s otherwise expected lifespan, it was also Lee, after his surrender at Appomattox, was the man of stature in a Southern collective mentality that prevented the feared decades of ‘post-war’ Southern partisan insurgency by both his words and example. Today’s neoliberal politicians (and their minions) should take the example set by General Lee employing principle of conciliation, rather than behave like a lynch mob going after Trump.

America would appear to have learned nothing from those short antebellum years of political history where conciliation was discarded prior to an armed convulsion commencing in April, 1861.

But, all of the preceding ignores the nation having transformed from ‘rule of law’ to ‘color of law’ since the National Security Act of 1947. In fact, in today’s United States, ‘saving the constitution’ (whether asserted by either side) is little more than political sloganeering; where (for decades) constitutional principles cannot be squared with ‘national security’ laws as made and applied in fact; and consequently,  the ‘oath to uphold’ the Constitution is patently meaningless, no matter who does the swearing.

Where there clearly can be no legitimate President of the United States in a state of division not seen since the election of 1860, this reporter is ready to move on to other subjects, away from American politics, rather than take sides in what amounts to a preliminary stage of civil war.

The ‘national security state’s’ political rhetoric describing the Washington DC pro-Trump protests and Trump’s so-called ‘complicity’ in events unfolding over the 2020 election has been quite socially irresponsible.

This language is inflammatory and further divisive in case where a very large section of the body politic (however naively) see Trump as being crucified for the ‘fact’ of attempting to ‘drain the swamp’ or end ‘business as usual’ in national politics perceived as intolerably corrupt.

Referencing the USA’s Supreme Court decision “Citizens United” which has allowed what amounts to unlimited money influencing American election outcomes through Political Action Committees (PACs, see preceding article) it is ‘refreshing’ (HA!) to note corporations abroad (!) are coming out of the closet (moronically publicizing) the fact they have a history of pumping money into the political agendas in Washington:

“Danish Pharmaceutical [giant] Novo Nordisk is taking a stance on the political situation in the US as it halts its payments to US politicians. For now” [1]

This follows other mega-corporations (e.g. Wall Street colossus Charles Schwab) have been ditching donations until (no doubt) their lawyers can sort the direction and end game of the present controversy. Why? Liability potential due to the rhetoric of “sedition”, “Insurgents” and “inciting armed rebellion.”

In short, there is a fear of prosecution and/or lawsuits for having potentially donated to what will be categorized as treasonous acts within the United States, including acts by members of Congress. These are the superficial worries of a corporate state sans any deep understanding of the developing, untenable social dynamic where such rhetoric only grows a greater instability and wider potential for violent civil strife.

What we are actually witnessing is corporate deep state internecine war where the two opposing factions, the allied “Israel First!” neoconservative & “Prosperity Gospel” apocalyptic Christian Zionist corporate board personalities have been behind Trump/Pence, and the opposed ‘police state of empire’ neoliberal corporate board personalities who’ve been aligned with Pelosi/Shumer (prior to the ‘election’.)

As this plays out (in the common political vernacular) the neoliberal wing of the corporate ‘deep state’, represented in the Democrats, are piling on, smelling blood and opportunity to break the Republican party in pieces which is entirely possible but not a very far sighted strategy.

In fact Trump is not only a manipulated naif (by the numerous quislings that have surrounded him) but also represents (however misguidedly) a VERY REAL & BIG piece of a desperate electorate only wanting ‘business as usual’ in DC to finally be countered. This piece of the electorate will likely get that but not in any good way … Biden/Harris is enlisting a who’s who of empire and police state personalities that point to a highly vindictive administration across the spectrum and, the ‘dims’ Pelosi & Shumer, will be right there, egging it on. In short ‘other words’, the game has been taken to the next level and here’s how:

Western intelligence professionals working media are taking up & promoting knee-jerk, self-fulfilling reactionary propaganda by several means including ‘joint intelligence agencies’ reports pointing towards a future era of McCarthy-like witch-hunts…

“DOMESTIC EXTREMISTS, MOTIVATED BY conspiracy theories and opposed to mitigation measures against the coronavirus, pose “the greatest domestic terrorism threats” against the United States in 2021, according to a new government report. The report, dated January 13, is contained in a Joint Intelligence Bulletin, which is produced jointly by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Homeland Security, and the National Counterterrorism Center” [2]

…further radicalizing a large segment of the electorate should propose a moment of ‘let’s all pause and consider the actual trajectory.’

The “DOMESTIC EXTREMISTS motivated by conspiracy theories” in an ‘intelligence report’ released in the context of the moment, takes aim squarely at Trump’s ‘talking points’ of election fraud and his ‘counter-covid narrative’, and just lumped one half of the American or the conservative electorate (never-mind antifa) into a talent pool of suspicion creating opportunity for police state persecution little different to the ‘red scare’ political witch-hunts of the 1950s. Shortly it will come to promoting any belief the election had been stolen by fraud is ‘sedition’ and makes anyone asserting this a potential “insurgent” (keep reading.)

The USA’s election fraud history can be made succinct; it would appear it had gone on for a very long time, from at least since Lincoln’s 1860 nomination at the Republican convention in Chicago where his organization printed counterfeit tickets to admit his people (extra delegates) to take the seats of William Seward’s delegates. [3]

Skip forward to 1948 and LBJ’s election to the Senate and you have a stuffed ballot box tipped the scale for Johnson and a primary player in that fraud, Abe Fortas, was later rewarded with a Supreme Court seat when Johnson became president. [4]

Fast forward to 2004 and the intrepid Bev Harris (somehow gone missing for the 2020 election, warned off?) who discovered & documented the Diebold computer vote tabulation fraud resulting in the HBO documentary “Hacking Democracy”…

…and went on to establish blackboxvoting.org where it has been further established the old Diebold GEMS system (hack malware, actually) had been incorporated to the Dominion system as recently as 2016:

So, the now ‘seditious’ belief the 2020 election may actually have been stolen has a rational basis in fact whether it were Trump believes this or the one half of the electorate that supports Trump. Seditious belief? Well, yes, that’s what has been put into the article of impeachment:

“He [Trump] also willfully made statements [concerning the election] that encouraged — and foreseeably resulted in — imminent lawless action at the Capitol,” the article states. “Incited by President Trump, a mob unlawfully breached the Capitol, injured law enforcement personnel, … and engaged in violent, deadly, destructive and seditious acts” [5]

Never mind Trump, after asking the crowd to “walk” to the congress as part of a legal protest, repeatedly asked the crowd to behave respectfully, peacefully and be law-abiding when elements of the crowd broke into the Capitol. There was no stated desire by Trump pointedly inciting violence. [6], [7]

Now, to the use of the language of “insurrection” and “insurgents.” In the election riots of 1968, the descriptions by the police state elements of that era characterized their opponents “radical anti-war demonstrators.” Even as recently as the George Floyd protests, some of which were quite violent, the demonstrators are labeled “protestors.” [8]

But now, suddenly American protestors (who happen to be conservative) are “insurgents” pursuing “insurrection.” [9], [10]

This will see much of America, that America that happens to be conservative and Trump supporters (a VERY BIG piece of the electorate) having become suspect (in their perception) with the state using terminology more often associated with terrorism along the lines of al Qaida and this rhetoric will indeed breed some very intense resentment in the larger part of the armed populace (conservatives.)

‘Please excuse my French’ but employing this terminology conflating Trump and his supporters with terrorism is nothing short of incredibly fucking stupid. Recalling the “Joint Intelligence Bulletin” referenced towards the beginning of this article, one is tempted to compare this ‘language describing terrorists’ to the disclaimer in another ‘joint intelligence’ production that had turned out to be totally worthless:

”Judgments are not intended to imply that we have proof that shows something to be a fact. Assessments are based on collected information, which is often incomplete or fragmentary, as well as logic, argumentation, and precedents” –ICA 2017 01 Annex B’s “estimative language” a.k.a. the ‘we make this shit up’ disclaimer buried in the ‘Russian election hack’ report authored by the “joint US intelligence agencies”

Only now, we can lampoon this preceding with a rewrite:

”Judgments are intended to piss people off to a point that we will have proof when they begin shooting at us they’ve become terrorists in fact. Assessments are based on our collective ill-informed ignorance, which is entirely narcissistic, consequent badly flawed logic justifying our employ as ‘peace-keepers’, and, of course, COINTELPRO precedents” [11]

With highly credible evidence the Dominion vote tally machines are “designed for fraud”, it follows any denial of a national forensic exam of the 2020 election only adds to the conviction of the Trump electoral base the vote had been stolen and grows the FBI’s talent pool of suspected “insurgents”, an ‘insurgency rhetoric’ reinforced with the deployment of (an absolute message of ‘No dialogue!’/de facto preparation for civil war) 20,000 soldiers to Washington, DC for Biden’s inauguration. [12], [13]

But, of course, none of this matters to the neoliberal wing of the corporate deep state, ceding power back to the people via the ballot box is not in the cards; nor would it be in the cards of the opposed corporate neoconservative/prosperity gospel Christian Zionist faction if they were to prevail. For a sense of balance, check out the Republican dirt in the elections process with the reporting of Greg Palast:

“Non-cooperation with evil is as much a duty as cooperation with the good” -Mahatma Ghandi

The ceremonial investment of Biden as President of the United States is little more than theater along the lines history’s crowning a new ‘Holy Roman Emperor.’ After this ‘investment’ show, any honest president’s “State of the Union” address should cover important points underlying the current state of the USA’s social psychology. The USA most certainly will NOT be provided this honest assessment but simply more & growing transparent political lies underpinning greed that ‘secures’ empire.

What certainly will be missing is, the fact that since the National Security Act of 1947, ‘rule of law’ in these ‘United States’ has been transformed into ‘color of law’ where constitutional principles can no longer be squared with the laws as made and applied in fact. The oath to uphold the constitution has become a caricature that is patently meaningless.

Conservative America more largely, and America’s liberal dissidents in lesser numbers, sense this judicial perversion and it is the conservatives are the historic keepers of those constitutional principles most departed from in this ‘new age of national security.’

The USA is in a state of the nation’s anti-federalist heritage, primarily, having been usurped. It was supposed to be both, a constitutional balance of the federalist & anti-federalist philosophies, or that is to say a central government with solid checks, not one or the other in the extreme that is tyranny or anarchy with leadership gone off the rails.

It follows, in a case where the people have been so pervasively lied to, for so long, there are now two entirely separate & artificial realities, with either side incapable of grasping neutral facts beyond the borders of their own cultural myths. That’s the fruit of irresponsible ‘free speech’ in a corporate monopolized modern mainstream media where political lies possess so-called ‘constitutional’ protections. For this fact, neither side, conservative or liberal, can correctly read those foundational principles that should have, if only they had been adhered to, prevented the “security state’s” overreach, which is a complaint of the one side on one day and the complaint of the other side on another day, depending solely upon who is in the cross-hairs of proposed and/or enacted legislation.

Mutually exclusive historical revisionism accounts finding their way into the social fabric are part and parcel of these isolated (divorced from reality) cultural myths in the two alienated camps of the present body politic. For instance the Evangelical wing of the Republicans have rewritten the First Amendment’s history concerning separation of church & state to favor the Christian church particularly; while the Democrats have consistently misrepresented (done away with) the Second Amendment’s original purpose as a ‘check of last resort’ on state tyranny.

The 1st of the preceding threatens devolution into a large segment of an armed populace propping up what amounts to anarchy-like or mob rule led by ‘Christian ayatollahs’, whereas the 2nd of the preceding threatens a disarmed populace with whatever a corporate (1%) tyranny’s whims demand in any given moment.

The current ‘divide & conquer’ tensions play out in unbridgeable social dynamic where the red states’ conservatives are being driven to a deeply superstitious conservatism of a distant past due to a real subliminal fear of a ‘liberal’ cultural revolution being imposed upon them; while the blue states’ liberals are becoming radicalized into intolerant ‘woke’ because they perceive a revanchist conservatism threat imposing what they consider are archaic social values on themselves in turn.

The George Bush mantra “You are with us or against us” is now employed in domestic politics, whether called forth in the attitudes of Pelosi and Shumer or their allies represented in the “Never Trump!” Republicans, this is recently a threat aimed indiscriminately at a large section of the American public. Claiming Trump is the leader of the USA white supremacist movement is like claiming Biden is the leader of LA’s MS-13 gang. Trump is a perfectly imperfect hope or expression of 1/2 of an electorate desperate to escape ‘business as usual’ in DC opposed to Biden and Biden’s “Never Trump!” Republican support or the corporate establishment’s determination to never cede power back to the people.

“You are with us or against us” is no longer a threat thrown solely at the “homeland’s” foreign ‘provinces of empire’ in circumstance where domestically the Republican Party is broken and the Democratic Party is terminally ill with the disease of corruption. These times find the levers of power have been invested in what amounts to a coterie of reactionary, radically ignorant leaders (includes the moron Trump surrounded by ‘prosperity gospel’ corporate minions who could not altogether control him, not only the radical ignorance of Pelosi, Schumer, Biden & Harris.)

With little or no middle ground left, and middle ground is the only way forward that would see the state’s institutions secure over the long run, is there an avenue available to the alienated parties to sit down and talk?

In the present circumstance, the plain answer is “NO.”

Culminating in the treasonous SCOTUS decision “Citizens United” any pretense the people’s representatives actually answer to the people at the ballot box is dead. Politicians answer to corporate wealth that is the billions pumped into buying elections (especially military-industrial related corporate billions) and any (practically all) political career(s) become dependent on this corporate wealth and are incapable of responsibly responding to or serving the will of a now fatally divided electorate.

With the American Congress having morphed into a 21st Century science fiction monster’s corporate exoskeleton, similar to JRR Tolkien’s giant, malevolent spider Shelob, but now representing American empire rather than Mordor, the spine of democracy has been dissolved from the inside. It isn’t/wasn’t the Russians, China or Iran. The many acts of a corporate ‘axis of evil’ are clearly an American internal affair, and there is no one left to fix this mess in any genuine sense of ‘democratic principles’ that factually no longer exist; because water cannot be drunk from a mirage.

A logical conclusion would be empire puppet & ‘police state champion’ (Patron Saint of Incarceration) Kamala Harris had been the consensus choice of the neoliberal wing of the military/industrial corporate state; because demanding the ‘nuclear trigger’ be removed from a “deranged” Trump (beware of the false-flag with an apocalyptic Pence finger on the button) within the last two weeks of his presidency, only to hand it to Biden who’d plainly been entering a state of senile dementia from the 2020 campaigns’ inception, is an oxymoron too great, a reach too far.

Biden has been nothing more than a vehicle to ultimately put this multiple primaries loser on the throne. Because she is black and a woman, no doubt Harris’ ‘masters’ hope the ‘woke’ libtard electorate would follow her off a cliff like so many lemmings. That’s the real nature of psyops.

Capitol |ˈkapitl| (usu. the Capitol)

1 the temple of Jupiter on the Capitoline Hill in ancient Rome.
2 the seat of the US Congress in Washington, DC.

ORIGIN from Old French capitolie, later reassimilated to Latin Capitolium (from capit- ‘head’)

Well, boys & girls (or unisex, gender neutral ‘girlie-boys’ for the ‘woke’), we all thought democracy was a scintillating or capital idea. But, you-know, that empire thing grabbed it by the balls…

“The extension of the empire has meant the growth of private fortunes. This is nothing new, indeed it is in keeping with the most ancient history” -Gaius Asinius Gallus (from Tacitus, The Annals of Imperial Rome)

The 1st message that should be drawn from the USA’s ‘capitol convulsion’ is ‘color of law’ simply cannot be made to work. Any pretense of the jurists notwithstanding, an immense body of law (practically everything of significance since the National Security Act of 1947) that merely wears the make-up of  constitutional conformity, like Nancy Pelosi’s cosmetics cannot conceal the mental decay that comes with her age, is a deceit doomed to fail. It’s a bit like the USA’s satellite, the European Union, with it’s 40 paid corporate lobbyists for each European Member of Parliament sitting in Brussels, where ‘Capital’ (greed) runs these empire provinces and the ‘circus’ (examples given, National Football League in the USA, Champions League in Europe) is no longer sufficient distraction from the fact there is no reinvestment in the people (social infrastructure) necessary to maintain a spine’s healthy posture. Rather government has morphed into a corporate exoskeleton where the people’s ‘representatives’ resemble so many locusts.

The next ‘1st message’ is, when the judiciary altogether abdicates examining the USA’s history of vote fraud (it’s not like this is something that had never happened) in the modern context of hacked computers and malware, it should not be merely anticipated, but expected, there will be a perfectly predictable next act in this regard. In fact there can be no legitimate winners until the computerized vote tally is altogether jettisoned for old fashioned, publicly observed, hand counts of legitimate paper ballots because in fact both sides have a history of vote fraud and now computerized vote fraud. Unfortunately, at this point any authentic vote count is a band-aid fix that could actually intensify/magnify the societal problems in what amounts to a hopelessly sundered republic where the people have been so pervasively lied to, for so long, there are two entirely separate & artificial realities, with either side incapable of grasping neutral facts beyond the borders of their own cultural myths.

The ‘1st message’ after that is, this ain’t over folks. We’re merely (momentarily) lucky it was not ‘the shoe on the other foot.’ If it’d been antifa had stormed the Capitol, they’d have burned it down like a Soros worshiping Tory mob’s ‘liberal democracy’ troops (something that last happened in 1814.) So, then, Trump’s twitter & facebook accounts are suspended when he’s been using social media for asking his supporters to stand down and go home? Do you actually believe, were the shoe on the other foot (the Biden ‘victory’ overturned), antifa would have listened to similar message or Dorsey & ‘Suckerberg’ would have suspended the accounts of Pelosi, Shumer, Biden or Harris?

Now, when the ‘new’ (old guard) insects go after Trump with a vindictive determination and a muzzled Trump cannot say ‘don’t do this’ to his supporters in circumstance where the red states’ conservatives are being driven to a deeply superstitious conservatism of a distant past due to a real subliminal fear of a ‘liberal’ cultural revolution being imposed upon them; and the blue states’ liberals are becoming radicalized into intolerant ‘woke’ because they perceive a revanchist conservatism threat imposing what they consider are archaic social values on themselves in turn, what happens? In the corrupt circumstance of corporate locusts running the government, no matter which side prevails, the police state wins (until it all finally, convincingly & overwhelmingly tears itself apart.)

Part one HERE, part three HERE

Article last updated 12 December

It should be kept in the back of the reader’s mind there will be many plausible cases of overlay in the warring camps; the operations (paramilitary) sector of the CIA is historically a George H.W. Bush fan club and George H.W. Bush was a “Never Trump” Republican. Yet my sources indicate there appears to be Pentagon aligned religious extremists at CIA. Also, at the Pentagon (my shorthand for the Department of Defense) there are CIA aligned generals (if temporarily in the present contest for control) opposed to Trump. Not that these last are in love with the extremely corrupt Biden force, they simply see Biden as a less immediate existential threat. Now, concerning the States versus States lawsuit with Texas taking advantage of its original jurisdiction at the Supreme Court (with up to 17 states joining Texas suing Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin), no matter how the SCOTUS political animals rule, the ante is upped when it comes the USA’s potential for being torn in half (see part one, linked above) per the extensive propaganda operations (information wars) convincing their respective voters there is a theft (position of Pentagon’s Trump camp) or a coup (position of CIA’s Biden camp) but both sides are playing it disingenuously. Biden’s controllers DID steal the election but it appears they were set up by the Trump camp who’re misrepresenting how the theft actually happened & on who’s behalf, covering for their own dirty players manipulating perception on behalf of certain geopolitical goals –

Now, let’s have another look at the developing story of Sidney Powell and Gina Haspel relating to the vote fraud allegations concerning the USA 2020 election. In short, it is alleged CIA Director Gina Haspel should have known and warned against the use of Dominion voting machines that have been (credibly) alleged to have rigged elections around the world:

^ Computer vote tabulation machines documented as easily subject to tampering/manipulation by brand (blackboxvoting.org 2016) [1]

The equally (to Dominion) fraudulent ES&S system (both use the old GEMS software originating with Diebold) covered the ‘Republican Heartland” as of 2016. This is the Pentagon’s historic vote theft ground. ES&S is the system that had turned Nebraska into a ‘red state’ some years back when used to put (subsequent Secretary of Defense) Chuck Hagel into the Senate. All of the states are ‘historically’ (age of internet & related computerized voting) stolen at will. The Pentagon (DoD) knew how to reveal the Dominion fraud in the 2020 election and attempted to do just that; knowing full well the CIA dared not point the finger back at the Pentagon’s ES&S fraud without opening themselves (becoming vulnerable) to the Dominion fraud charges. Where the Pentagon lost the contest to now is in the MSM coverage, historically CIA controlled turf, they have been unable to neutralize the propaganda.

Trump’s (longtime CIA asset) Attorney General William Barr says he cannot find any indication of voting machine fraud as evidence of exactly that is escaping the several states like feral street cats fleeing a dumpster on fire. It does well to recall here the man Barr just appointed ‘special prosecutor’ in the matter of ‘Russiagate’, that is John Durham, was in charge of the DoJ ‘investigation’ that ran cover for CIA Director Gina Haspel over a decade ago, when he (Durham) found Haspel not culpable for torture at a black site (a site Haspel was in charge of.) Trump Attorney General Barr’s subsequent (present) assertion he has seen no evidence of vote rigging, at first blush, is inconsistent with Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani claiming vote fraud until you look at the suggestion Giuliani is deliberately screwing up the court cases he has filed, getting loss after loss registered in the media; reinforcing in a large portion of the public thinking there is nothing there. All four of the preceding named individuals have done tremendous damage to Trump and profile as Trump’s political enemies in a Trumpian psy-ops pseudo-reality created by ‘spooks.’

Then, we have the intrepid Sidney Powell who recently split from Rudy Giuliani (both purported to be fighting the computerized vote fraud on Trump’s behalf) coming up with what we are supposed to believe is the real score; she is producing numerous witnesses, producing evidence via experts (includes intelligence), producing forensic cyber analysis & expert opinion on statistical improbabilities, in short (with relevance possibly depending on the political alignment of deep state judges), producing what Giuliani has not, in his numerous court fails. And then, it gets weird.

Sidney Powell represents former (Obama era) Defense Intelligence Agency head Mike Flynn and he most certainly should know where the (CIA) bodies are buried, including vote fraud. In fact the Pentagon itself is ‘expert’ in vote fraud and has its own track record relevant to computerized voting in concert with CIA. [2], [3]

Does the present circumstance indicate a messy divorce?

Flynn can’t decide if it was ‘coup’ or China & Iran, he is all over the map (interview) when Flynn says (or at least strongly insinuates) China manipulated the electronic vote to favor Biden, but then he says an electronic vote didn’t get the result Biden wanted and this required ballot dumps [but in actuality if you needed to uphold an electronic tabulation fraud with a hand recount, then you’d see the ballot dumps happening.] So now we have the moronic idea the Biden team is dumping ballots to uphold an electronic voting fraud run by China. Did the Biden team have the fraudulent ballot printing outsourced to China and illegally plug the machines into the internet for China too? In fact Flynn appears to use his psy-ops training to associate “Socialist” Biden supporters (ignoring Biden’s people are shafting the AOC & Sanders’ agendas) and a stolen election with American mainstream media, Facebook, Twitter & China (he uses his credentials to conflate them all as identical.) [4]

Then, Lt General McInerney (retired) gets involved and some makes some lucid points but then starts talking about the 305th Military Intelligence Battalion (Arizona) is working for Trump and claims American Special Forces seized Dominion software implicated internet servers from the CIA at a secure military facility in Germany (see part two of the interview at preceding footnote [4].)

How this all spills out in the information wars is quite interesting. Military Times (owned by MSM, not the military) quotes certain American military spokesmen denying the 305th Battalion is an operational intelligence organization, rather asserting this is only a military intelligence “training” facility. In fact if such an entity actually existed as described by Flynn’s attorney Sidney Powell and General McIinerney, a military intelligence training facility would be the perfect cover story for a clandestine military intelligence operations center; it easily could be both, a training facility AND an operational intelligence organization, with only the operational intelligence side knowing both the cover story (that actually trains people) & the operational aspect. Did Flynn, McInerney & Powell blow open a state secret here? [5]

Insofar as discrediting General McInerney because he was fired from FOX News for “falsely” claiming John McCain ‘sang like a canary’ for his North Vietnamese captors, well, maybe that claim wasn’t false after all, FOX fired McInerney in 2018, it was in 2016 the tape of John McCain singing a song of geopolitical fellatio on behalf of his captors (via Radio Hanoi) was recovered from the National Archives. [6]

So, wrapping this warring spooks camps’ multiple/competing psy-ops-information operations reporting up, it would appear nobody actually knows where or how this plays out except to say ‘the Russians did it’ boogeyman (CIA) is in a vote fraud (that DID happen) slug-fest with ‘the Chinese did it’ boogeyman (Pentagon.) This is painted as a vote fraud that ‘never happened’ (What?! The ‘Russians did it’ boogeyman isn’t blaming the Russians?!) by ‘the Russians did it’ boogeyman whereas ‘the Chinese did it’ boogeyman has China responsible for routing vote fraud through ‘the Russians did it’ boogeyman internet servers secured at a ‘the Chinese did it’ boogeyman’s military facility in Germany. Oh, don’t get me started on THAT aspect of this clusterf**k.

The really SCARY part of all of this is, ‘the Chinese did it’ boogeyman has tossed Iran into the conspiratorial soup; providing Trump (Mike Pence and the apocalyptic Christian Zionists at the Pentagon, actually) a recipe for casus belli; the narcissist-ego-maniac Trump gets fed spoonfuls of ‘the Iranians helped China steal the election from Trump to get Biden in and JCPOA back’ (sanctions relief) *with a robust push from MOSSAD* (Bibi has been trying to get the USA to attack Iran for over 12 years) and .. dragging China in? Well, It’s been an interesting life.

The ‘plot sickens’ it could be said; now it would seem this ongoing real life political clown act, at least in appearance, rivals a QAnon psyop (be certain to read the satire) running as a live exercise, you know, sort of like when Dick Cheney was running the war games that morphed into 9/11:

The ‘suicided’ (incorruptible) Michael Ruppert (above video) was a world class detective who’d uncovered CIA cocaine trafficking into Los Angeles’ Black community and life was never the same for him again.

And here’s a CIA moron confessing (bragging, actually) about his connections and insider knowledge preceding/concerning 9/11:

Naw, it couldn’t get that bad, you think?

Update (part two) HERE

So, lawyer Sidney Powell says CIA Director Gina Haspel had to have known the Dominion election software was open to manipulation and should have warned against its use in the USA election. In fact it appears that in one county Dominion’s ‘smartmatic’ flipped 6,000 Trump votes to Biden which is a 12,000 vote differential (minus 6,000 to Trump becoming plus 6,000 to Biden.)  If this happened on a single occasion, it should warrant all Dominion machine tallied votes recounted by hand.

Well, as a matter of fact, election software (as of the past two decades) is historically how the USA manipulates some elections, not only at home, but especially abroad (and how ‘independent’ foreign entities manipulate their own elections.) Powell is spot on. How would Powell know this? One fairly straight up assumption would be Powell represents a former major intelligence agency head, that is Mike Flynn, erstwhile boss of the Defense Intelligence Agency. Flynn knows where the bodies are buried.

Has it really happened in the USA before? Oh yes, the Diebold machines:

Voting machine fraud had been used in the Bush Jr era. As well, Ron Paul complained it was the reason he lost in Republican primaries:

So it is the Trump slime machine has busted the Biden & Never Trump Republican slime machine by calling out the Dominion voting machine fraud. Where does it all fit together (or come apart, as the case may be?) Well, Trump’s people have broken the unwritten rules (or unpublished rules) by calling out the CIA’s expertise in manipulating (nominally foreign) elections and Sidney Powell has apparently been provided all the technical information necessary to bring it all together for judicial review:

Then, for my readers exterior to the USA, where has ‘Dominion’ (sounds like empire) ‘smartmatic’ been busy? Lots of places, like Georgia, Pakistan, Ecuador, Venezuela, The European Union, and many more.

Back to the USA, essentially what we have here is, the deep state internecine war is breaking the surface like circling shark dorsal fins in an upcoming feeding frenzy. Somebody smells blood and likely it is the stealth infiltrators of the Trump administration represented in Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, William Barr (a double agent) et al, & allied Pentagon faction, read the Doug Coe cult, who most certainly won’t need the petty mobster Trump anymore, once the Biden/Soros ‘victory’ is overturned (depending on the deep state judges and perhaps ultimately whether Trump’s Supreme Court political appointees stab him in the back in concert with deep state lawyer (double agent) Rudy Giuliani deliberately screwing up Trump’s legal arguments and neglecting evidence.)

23 Nov 2020 update: At the Georgia recount we see emerging evidence of what you’d expect to see if voting machine fraud had been involved and the hand ‘recount’ had to be matched with the machine tally:

“It was of particular interest to me that hundreds of these ballots seemed impeccable, with no folds or creases. The bubble selections were perfectly made (all within the circle), only observed selections in black ink, and all happened to be selections for Biden” -Affidavit of Democratic election observer

As well, Giuliani appears to be running cover for this fraud and has now thrown Sidney Powell (& his client Trump) under the bus. HERE & HERE

No matter which camp ultimately prevails in this complex of deceits, the other camp’s rank and file (the voters) will be convinced they’d been cheated; when in fact they all get cheated, everyone loses regardless.

The red states’ conservatives are being driven to a deep (superstitious) conservatism of a distant past due to a real subliminal fear of a ‘liberal’ cultural revolution being imposed upon them, the blue states’ liberals are becoming radicalized (into intolerant ‘woke’) because they perceive a revanchist conservatism threat imposing what they consider are archaic social values on themselves in turn. No matter which side prevails, the police state wins (until it all finally and overwhelmingly tears itself apart.)

The Western ‘civilized’ human nature hasn’t really changed much in two and half thousand years:

“The tyrant, to hold onto his power, suppresses every superior thinker, does away with good men, forbids knowledge & enlightenment, controls every movement of the citizens and, keeping them in perpetual servitude, wants them to grow accustomed to baseness and cowardice, has his spies everywhere to listen to what is said in meetings, spreads dissension & slanders among the citizens and thereby impoverishes them, and is obliged to make war in order to keep his subjects occupied & impose on them permanent need of a supreme leader” -Aristotle

This article first appeared at Fort Russ News

“The saying “the buck stops here” derives from the slang expression “pass the buck” which means passing the responsibility on to someone else” [1]

This piece begins with an asymmetrical question to the subject of taking (or imposing) responsibility for disaster; why is it Europe worships its biggest losers? Because the collective memory of any given (European, includes its colonial progeny) society constitutes a state of denial or refusal to take responsibility for colossal mistakes? Recalling…

History is the lie commonly agreed upon” -Voltaire

…and considering Voltaire was French, we can, by way of introduction to the following essay, simply point out Napoleon was a multiple loser, several times on a grand scale, who’d drained France of both: blood & treasure. Despite the destruction of the ‘Grande Armée’ (380,000 dead French empire soldiers solely due to Napoleon’s Russia campaign) and ultimate defeat at Waterloo, Napoleon is regarded as ‘great.’ WTF. Fewer, if any, created greater mischief for France than Napoleon. Following on Russia, it was Britain finally imposed responsibility on a greatly weakened France.

As well, then we have aftermath. Napoleon was responsible for the initial unity of several German principalities that ultimately led to the modern German state, and, with his ‘Napoleonic Code’ imposed upon these, introduced the idea of a ‘uniform education’ that, shortly after, inspired Prussia to (with Rules!, Obey!) educate all future Germans into Prussian mentalities and we know what that blessed France with, only a short century later, WWI & ‘pause’ WWII.

But, let us not forget, concerning the two ‘great’ colonizing powers (empires), Britain & France, the greater mischief had been wrought by Britain. The recipe had been straightforward and simple; as England had devolved away from real democratic principles (bloated from the corruption of empire), it had baked up what looks like…

Sing a Song of Sixpence,
A bag full of Rye,
Four and twenty Naughty Boys,
Baked in a Pie.

When the pie was opened
They began to sing;
Wasn’t that a dainty dish,
To set before the king.

…or in the modern idiom:

Empty the jails and lunatic asylums of Britain into the American colonies, add in Europe’s (as a whole) banished religious fanatics (Calvinists, especially) and stir it all into a hybrid vigor that became today’s American empire. Who will be held responsible for the world’s superpower run by hyper-criminal lunatics (and religious fanatics) that have dispensed with the rule of law except for a fraudulent pretense; where those accountable to constitutional principles are suborned into ‘color of law’ applied like make-up on a corpse (of a thoroughly dead republic.)

color of law

n. the appearance of an act being performed based upon legal right or enforcement of statute, when in reality no such right exists [2]

What the preceding definition misses is, these days, it is a common occurrence for suborned American politicians to pass, and rank political animals (judges) to uphold, laws so far outside the scope of their constitutional authority, it is difficult to recognize the reality with even the most twisted (honest) caricature.

“Rule of Law”, the very essence of any notion of accountability, should not be ‘Color of Law’ on steroids, where no-one assumes responsibility for the crimes of empire but in fact that is where the USA is arrived at. [3]

It is in this environment or pretense of law, an incredible charade is playing out concerning so-called ‘Russiagate’ where no one party will take responsibility for a web of deceit so tangled, it resembles nothing so much as the habitat of a Black Widow:

^ Gina Haspel

The Questions No One Asks

1) How is it when Pompeo left the CIA, to become Trump’s Secretary of State, a Russiagate principal, Gina Haspel, CIA Chief-of-Station in London when the phony Steele Dossier was concocted, and up to her neck in other aspects of the attempted take-down of Trump, was the name put forward for Trump to nominate as Pompeo’s CIA replacement? Who was responsible for putting a #1 enemy of Trump forward for Trump to nominate to become boss at the CIA? Why didn’t Pompeo tip Trump to Haspel’s ‘hands on’ dedication to sabotaging his campaign? Why on Earth would Trump nominate a CIA Director that not only has a vested interest in Russiagate ‘damage control’ but has sucked Trump deeper into the patently false Russia animus? [4], [5], [6], [7]

2) It would appear the Mueller probe was more about setting up ‘patsies’ than getting to the bottom of what actually happened. Now that any attempt to hang ‘responsibility’ for Russiagate on 2nd tier bureaucrats (e.g. Peter Strzok, Lisa Page et al) is slipping away, who is next? Killary, who took the abandoned Russiagate project from ‘Never Trump’ Republicans and breathed new life into it? The point of the Durham investigation is clearly ongoing damage control, and here is where the web smells to high heaven: (when still President), Obama himself was briefed on Russiagate with (then) CIA Director Brennan and (then) FBI Director Comey present. Now, the real rub: Attorney General William Barr and Gina Haspel are sleeping together with John Durham in a probe run by a pro (Durham) with a who’s who résumé of damage control for CIA including CIA destruction of interrogation tapes and wider CIA torture. Appointed by a Bush Jr Attorney General, Michael Mukasey, in a previous stint (stunt) concerning the crimes of Haspel, Durham ‘investigated’ (sandbagged the investigation of) Haspel and torture in 2008 and found no grounds for prosecution. [8], [9], [10], [11]

3) Does anyone else recall William Barr, who began his career as a CIA analyst and liaison to Congress, was Bush (41) Attorney General during the CIA’s Iran-Contra damage control efforts, as well, it smells to high heaven he worked for the former CIA Director GHW Bush presidency during the FBI sabotage of the Boys Town pedophilia investigation which reached all the way to the White House. [12], [13]

4) Finally, insofar as CIA ‘personalities’ involved, the biographical indicators tied to Obama that media, both alternative & mainstream, won’t touch with a proverbial ‘ten foot pole’ … why the strong profile indicating Obama had been a CIA asset for the entirety of his adult life? Son of an American intelligence officer, Ann Dunham, Obama worked for the long time CIA front company, Business International Corporation, prior to his community service & political career, and plausibly performed covert work for the intelligence community throughout his career, including a strong indication he’d been assigned to penetrate the anti-imperialism politic & community activism of Jeremiah Wright:

“Business International has a long association with the world of intelligence, covert actions, and attempts to penetrate the radical left — including Students for a Democratic Society (SDS)” [14], [15]

Obama, the CIA instructed snitch? Well, why not? The profiling fits, topped off with a presidential history 180 degrees opposed to the anti-empire activist community he supposedly emerged from.

Insofar as the CIA people surrounding Trump, one should recall the longest serving CIA Director, Allan Dulles, crafted the agency from its early years to serve his (and his brother John Foster Dulles) personal corporate interests, the history of United Fruit is unequivocal. [16]

What is going on with the Durham investigation is shielding the high level foot soldiers for corporate America, plain and simple. Barr has stated there will be no action taken before the election. If Biden wins, the outcome will be mild or negligible, perhaps some lowly apparatchiks will be made to fall on their swords; if Trump wins, the reach will be for someone a bit higher but either way, the end result will be all about damage control. [17]

It follows, none of the 2020 political posturing surrounding Russiagate & Russia is about Trump as much as it is about treasonous intelligence cells at the apex of power seeking to shield the core of its power from scrutiny; this core is not to be found in any of these agency principals as much as it is the corporate boards and associated criminal cabals the CIA has historically serviced.

So, where does ‘the buck stop’? Well, plainly these days it doesn’t. The rule of law does not apply. The bottom line is profit and if profit means we blow up everybody, everything and ourselves along the way, well, the lunatics putting obscene amounts of money in their pockets might not have thought that through. Unless you’re Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo et al, in which case if they manage to blow this small planet up, rather than face accountability, it just a matter of ‘God’s will.’ [18]

It’s as simple as a case of super-liar versus super-liar. It’s what Trump is surrounded by as noted by Thomas Paine over two centuries ago:

“It is impossible to calculate the moral mischief, if I may so express it, that mental lying has produced in society. When a man has so far corrupted and prostituted the chastity of his mind, as to subscribe his professional belief to things he does not believe, he has prepared himself for the commission of every other crime”

Insofar as the super-liars, it is also Trump, it was Obama before Trump and Bush before Obama, Clinton, Bush 41, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon and LBJ before that.

JFK was likely the last to truthfully try to get a grip on the forces of empire and that didn’t work out so well, he was murdered by Allan Dulles in concert with too many accomplices to list here but you can always have a read of this…
