Dear Members of Die Linke & International Criminal Court
With news of the 7 April 2018 false-flag, alleged chemical attack in Douma, Syria, I wish to draw your attention to these following, unanswered questions, pending in German Federal parliament for more than two years; as finally demanding answers is preferable to the UK-USA-NATO provoking war with Russia.

Original information provided to members of the Bundestag, presented in December, 2015 by Ronald Thomas West:
I wish to draw attention to recent information regarding your NATO ally Turkey. It had been revealed by two courageous members of Turkey’s parliament that in fact it was Turkey’s federal intelligence services were behind the August 2013 Ghouta, Syria sarin gas attack, killing more than one thousand three hundred ordinary Syrians, an attack NATO nations had blamed on the regime of Basher al-Assad. Your own Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND) intelligence agency should have been aware of this fact from very nearly the beginning, as they have been proactively engaged in Syria and the Syrian conflict, as well as spying on Turkey.
This raises strong questions of possible BND criminal complicity considering Germany’s support for certain NATO nations directly in relation to the Syrian conflict.
What did the BND know and when?
Has the BND, when passing intelligence on Syria to Assad’s opposition through its NATO allies, supported the actors who gassed the Syrians?
Is Germany’s supportive relationship to the Erdogan government a lawful one, in light of this recent evidence?
Has the BND contributed to the geopolitical disinformation blaming Assad for the August 2013 Sarin attack?
Has your parliament been deceived in this matter, particularly your intelligence oversight committee?
Clearly the Sarin case, considering Germany, as a knowledgeable or complicit actor in Syria, should be pursued against the culpable officials in Turkey via the legal mechanism of Völkerstrafgesetzbuch (universal jurisdiction), as well as domestic prosecutions of those German officials, noting the BND particularly, who’ve failed in their reporting requirements and/or conspired to conceal a war crime or crime against humanity.
These should be questions and demand you will present to the federal prosecutor.
Two deputies from the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) have claimed that the government is against investigating Turkey’s role in sending toxic sarin gas which was used in an attack on civilians in Syria in 2013 and in which over 1,300 Syrians were killed.
CHP deputies Eren Erdem and Ali Şeker held a press conference in İstanbul on Wednesday in which they claimed the investigation into allegations regarding Turkey’s involvement in the procurement of sarin gas which was used in the chemical attack on a civil population and delivered to the terrorist Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) to enable the attack was derailed.
Taking the floor first, Erdem stated that the Adana Chief Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation into allegations that sarin was sent to Syria from Turkey via several businessmen. An indictment followed regarding the accusations targeting the government.
“The MKE [Turkish Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation] is also an actor that is mentioned in the investigation file. Here is the indictment. All the details about how sarin was procured in Turkey and delivered to the terrorists, along with audio recordings, are inside the file,” Erdem said while waving the file.
Erdem also noted that the prosecutor’s office conducted detailed technical surveillance and found that an al-Qaeda militant, Hayyam Kasap, acquired sarin, adding: “Wiretapped phone conversations reveal the process of procuring the gas at specific addresses as well as the process of procuring the rockets that would fire the capsules containing the toxic gas. However, despite such solid evidence there has been no arrest in the case. Thirteen individuals were arrested during the first stage of the investigation but were later released, refuting government claims that it is fighting terrorism,” Erdem noted.
Over 1,300 people were killed in the sarin gas attack in Ghouta and several other neighborhoods near the Syrian capital of Damascus, with the West quickly blaming the regime of Bashar al-Assad and Russia claiming it was a “false flag” operation aimed at making US military intervention in Syria possible.
Suburbs near Damascus were struck by rockets containing the toxic sarin gas in August 2013.
The purpose of the attack was allegedly to provoke a US military operation in Syria which would topple the Assad regime in line with the political agenda of then-Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his government.
CHP deputy Şeker spoke after Erdem, pointing out that the government misled the public on the issue by asserting that sarin was provided by Russia. The purpose was to create the perception that, according to Şeker, “Assad killed his people with sarin and that requires a US military intervention in Syria.”
He also underlined that all of the files and evidence from the investigation show a war crime was committed within the borders of the Turkish Republic.
“The investigation clearly indicates that those people who smuggled the chemicals required to procure sarin faced no difficulties, proving that Turkish intelligence was aware of their activities. While these people had to be in prison for their illegal acts, not a single person is in jail. Former prime ministers and the interior minister should be held accountable for their negligence in the incident,” Şeker further commented.
Erdem also added that he will launch a criminal complaint against those responsible, including those who issued a verdict of non-prosecution in the case, those who did not prevent the transfer of chemicals and those who first ordered the arrest of the suspects who were later released.
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon announced in late August that an inquiry had been launched into the gas attacks allegedly perpetuated by both Assad’s Syrian regime and rebel groups fighting in Syria since the civil war erupted in 2011.
However, Erdem is not the only figure who has accused Turkey of possible involvement in the gas attack. Pulitzer Prize winner and journalist, Seymour M. Hersh, argued in an article published in 2014 that MİT was involved with extremist Syrian groups fighting against the Assad regime.
In his article, Hersh said Assad was not behind the attack, as claimed by the US and Europe, but that Turkish-Syrian opposition collaboration was trying to provoke a US intervention in Syria in order to bring down the Assad regime.

My essay ‘Modern Indian Society‘ from the book ‘Penucquem Speaks’ (published 2006) has received considerable attention over recent months; and judging by the associated search terms, this has to do with the indigenous concept of shadow or, more precisely, ‘lost shadow.’ Consequently, I decided to expand on the concept that had been only briefly mentioned in the book. This is the result.
The ancient native concept translated as ‘shadow’ is the ‘dynamic’ portal from which you are observed by the world of ‘spirit’ (nature), perhaps best represented in English with this definition…

…in a case where self-recognition is not ego-based but environmentally substantiated within a context of nature; where all surroundings are social. How you could experience this from this side (in non-egoic sense as part of process), example given, where there is a wild plum tree in full blossom alive with honey bees; you don’t see or differentiate the bees or parts of the tree (blossoms) separately but rather first instinct understands the tree as alive with the sound of the bees, all as integrated single organism. This is information delivered via the ‘portal.’
You also instinctively know this is a shifting phenomenon of process that is constantly in motion and your’s is in a place of moving process. In other words, your shadow is a shifting or mutating awareness attending oneself or one’s presence, constantly feeding one information. How you would know you are seen from the ‘other side’ (in same non-egoic sense or as integrated to process), example given, let’s say you are hunting and as a hunter you understand it is what will be offered to you is what you are allowed to take; also it is spring and you shouldn’t take the doe carrying a young one. The Mule Deer herd senses your presence and begins to move away but a large doe stands still and offers herself. You take her because you understand she has offered herself; and discover she is barren. This is knowing both; how to read and how to write. It is a form of literacy, sans pen & paper. The doe knew the herd’s best outcome was giving herself up, you read that, and taking her, you wrote the best outcome for all concerned; your people are fed and the mule deer community kept it’s future in a higher state than if you’d taken any of the other deer.
Or, as I had previously written:
Let’s say because you are of the old indigenous mental construction and you know *how* to pray *through* the trees, while traveling, you come to a Y in the road. To now, you only know there is a way through the forest you are traversing, but you have no map and no detailed instruction. Because you know *how* to pray *through* the trees, the environment (which is sentient, intelligent, and social) recognizes, respects, and even *anticipates* your thought when you send it out – “which way” – and a large bird of prey drops out of a tree and flies down right fork in the road, your questions are responsibly answered along this and other lines, with 100% accuracy, throughout the trip … because this indigenous mentality can repeat this *read* of the environment with fluency and confidence, whether it is a bird calls in the precise moment, or noticing a feature resembling a face in a rock outcropping (psychosis to the Platonic mentality), even a puff of breeze moving leaves on an otherwise still day and more.
How is it this ‘portal’ of understanding translates as your shadow?
This interactive understanding is an awareness that moves with you, coordinated with your thought process in *receptive* mode, except in case where you’ve been knocked out of alignment with your ‘portal’, in which case it can be said you’ve ‘lost your shadow’, a serious and even life threatening circumstance; with your loss of ability to ‘read’ surrounding environment. This ‘portal’ that follows (or precedes or surrounds) oneself is a critical component of essence or being in context of survival.
If you cannot ‘read’, you cannot take what is offered, as you cannot take what you cannot see and you’ve become out-of-sync. As well, because your surrounding environment is sentient and aware, you may easily become the environment’s ‘offering’ for lack of this ability to read; this loss of yourself is recognized by the greater social awareness (your natural surroundings.) In this case, you could easily become the surprised kill. This last is akin to the wolf identifying and taking the weak of the herd. They ‘know’ because they have ‘shadow’ or portal of understanding as well. When the environment, which is sentient, aware and social, knows you are out-of-sync, it’s only a matter of time and you will be taken.
How this system of awareness came to be related to early ‘frontier’ photography and the concept of ‘shadow stealing’ is actually quite simple; this was era entire native nations had been knocked out of alignment with their natural social environment (interactive nature.) With the Whites came a severe damage to this world of perception, with severe disease related losses, ecological damage and the disappearing of wildlife, together with attending psychological impact, almost nothing worked as it had.
The static ‘capture’ of image (photography) easily fit the concept of lost shadow, as it must have looked as one would imagine nature were to perceive the self, where previous to western culture, one might only behold in reflective water. However reflection in the water did not threaten; because it did not seize and keep the image. In a world without concept of coincidence, it could not be construed as anything other than, with the Whites’ arrival, and the near simultaneous loss of the interactive ‘literacy’ of living integrated to nature, portrait photography came to represent the ultimate theft of this unique awareness.

Well, not, or only ‘sort of.’ Following the grotesque set of historical events that culminated in Stalin, one might say there could never be sound reason to appreciate the message of Karl Marx. Why recent moves promoting Mike Pompeo to head up Department of State, and Gina Haspel taking over at CIA, point to the generals consolidating power for a man in the shadow of Donald Trump, Mike Pence. These promotions are element of contest between vying factions where the generals are winning. We begin with the promotion of torturer Haspel at CIA, to arrive at understanding of where this is presently pointed in a convoluted series of contested maneuvers from behind the curtain. First, some information warfare background.
A good analogy for a ‘limited hangout’ is a tax cheat. Information is the wealth one hides, in the ‘limited hangout context’ of declaring ‘yeah, I have wealth’ for the fact there is no denying the obvious but a great deal of this wealth is deliberately kept concealed. The main difference between the Central Intelligence Agency and the tax cheat is, if you’re Gina Haspel hiding a wealth of incriminating information, you’ll enjoy ‘sovereign immunity’ from disclosure of that wealth of criminality in the so-called ‘justice’ system; whereas if you’re Paul Manafort who’d laundered income to conceal it and then been dumb enough to invite scrutiny by becoming a high profile personality associated with Trump, there is no legal mechanism to save your butt short of a presidential pardon, meanwhile yourself & concealed wealth can be ‘hung out to dry.’
Building on the tax cheat analogy per the American neoliberal democracy, little different to the income of the individual or corporation must be declared to the Income Revenue Service, the acts of our institutions must be declared to the citizen via congressional oversight; but we should know our ‘public servants’ have a history of cheating.
Example given, when it was Dick Cheney concealing his Central Intelligence Agency run murder program (hit squads) with instruction to CIA not to inform Congress, and Obama’s “Look forward, not back” excusing Cheney’s extra-judicial murder program and much more (when considering the related renditions program), from investigative scrutiny and prosecution. Cheney and Obama are major corporate ‘tax cheats’ in a quid pro quo relationship; we know multiple millions (billions?) were expended pursuing grossly criminal acts by the intelligence agencies but the taxpayer footing the bill is kept in the dark except in the case of a ‘limited hangout’ divulging ‘just enough’ information to satisfy some Orwellian ‘new speak’ sense of ‘accountability’ (but certainly not justice.) Such a ‘limited hangout’ is the Feinstein ‘torture report.’
What the Feinstein Report Doesn’t Tell Us
The 1st thing is, how many actual renditions took place. Recalling certain ‘allied’ intelligence agencies are looking after #1, there is a ‘Sword of Damocles’ hanging over the CIA renditions report in the form of MOSSAD ‘assets’ Reprieve (a British ‘human rights’ NGO) and The Guardian. We’ll come back to this aspect, but first:
To now, Reprieve (in a project endorsed by The Guardian) has identified 11,000 flights by known CIA renditions aircraft. How many of those flights were to ‘outsourced’ torture? (sites other than CIA run ‘black sites’.) Related to this, Obama’s CIA Director John Brennan had been up to his armpits in the Bush torture program:
MARGARET WARNER: “So is it — are you saying both in two ways — both in getting terrorists off the streets and also in the interrogation?
JOHN BRENNAN: “Yes. The rendition is the practice or the process of rendering somebody from one place to another place. It is moving them and the U.S. Government will frequently facilitate that movement from one country to another. . . .
“Also I think it’s rather arrogant to think we’re the only country that respects human rights. I think that we have a lot of assurances from these countries that we hand over terrorists to that they will, in fact, respect human rights”
“And there are different ways to gain those assurances. But also let’s say an individual goes to Egypt because they’re an Egyptian citizen and the Egyptians then have a longer history in terms of dealing with them, and they have family members and others that they can bring in, in fact, to be part of the whole interrogation process”
Do you suppose Brennan’s cynically referring to this statement in a Human Rights Watch report?
“…[Egyptian] techniquesinclude threats to inflict torture or sexual abuse on detainees’ female family members, including wives, threats to arrest family members, exposure to screams…’
How absolutely unwise of Brennan to use the Egypt example in the cause of renditions to outsourced torture he supported, because his CIA proxy interrogator (torture darling) in Egypt at the time was Omar Sulieman:
“Shortly after 9/11, Australian citizen, Mamdouh Habib, was captured by Pakistani security forces and, under US pressure, tortured by Pakistanis. He was then rendered (with an Australian diplomats watching) by CIA operatives to Egypt, a not uncommon practice. In Egypt, Habib merited Suleiman’s personal attention. As related by Richard Neville, based on Habib’s memoir:
Habib was interrogated by the country’s Intelligence Director, General Omar Suleiman…. Suleiman took a personal interest in anyone suspected of links with Al Qaeda. As Habib had visited Afghanistan shortly before 9/11, he was under suspicion. Habib was repeatedly zapped with high-voltage electricity, immersed in water up to his nostrils, beaten, his fingers were broken and he was hung from metal hooks.
“That treatment wasn’t enough for Suleiman, so:
To loosen Habib’s tongue, Suleiman ordered a guard to murder a gruesomely shackled Turkistan prisoner in front of Habib – and he did, with a vicious karate kick.
“After Suleiman’s men extracted Habib’s confession, he was transferred back to US custody, where he eventually was imprisoned at Guantanamo. His “confession” was then used as evidence in his Guantanamo trial”
Moving forward, how many of the 11,000 flights by known CIA renditions aircraft were made to simply ‘disappear’ people? A British case opened a glimpse into this aspect; the investigation in Britain of the CIA’s rendition of Binyam Mohamed (who was outsourced to torture where his testicles had been brutalized) turned up a MI6 manual instruction to British intelligence officers not to become involved with any CIA rendition where the objective was to kill the target. In the MI6 manual chapter produced for the British court, it is clear the manual instruction’s overall context is intended to keep the British officers clean of and British jurisdiction clear of (and by extension, Her Majesty’s government) certain specified crimes in relation to CIA actions in violation of international law:
“Is it clear that detention, rather than killing, is the objective of the operation?”
It would appear the British are not squeamish about cooperating with CIA in relation to deliveries to torture, rather they are of the ‘if we didn’t see it, it didn’t happen’ philosophy. Where it appears they had drawn a line is in relation to ‘disappearing’ people to die. This inference can be drawn following the preceding MI6 manual language, because everything else in the chapter produced from the MI6 manual for the court is about what the officers would be required to report under British obligations to humanitarian law, if observed; all known CIA renditions practices such as hooding, beating and ‘torture’ (read water-boarding) in relation to any agencies MI6 works in ‘liaison’ with (read CIA.)
With the MI6 manual providing the first hard documentary evidence from allied intelligence there is a concern over renditions to ‘disappear’ people, specifying killing in context of working with the Americans, it follows the Americans involved with renditions should be given a strict scrutiny in regards not only to torture, this is already well documented, but renditions as interim step to targeted killings or ‘disappearing’ kidnapped people. This brings up ‘the ships‘ …
“U.S. PRISON SHIPS: On June 2, 2008 UK’s Guardian reported, “The US has admitted that the Bataan and Peleliu were used as prison ships between December 2001 and January 2002”. According to Reprieve, the U.S. may have used 17 ships as “floating prisons” since 2001. Detainees are interrogated on ships and may be rendered to other, undisclosed locations. Reprieve expressed concern over the time the U.S.S. Ashland spent off Somalia in early 2007. According to The Guardian, “At this time many people were abducted by Somali, Kenyan and Ethiopian forces in a systematic operation involving regular interrogations by individuals believed to be members of the FBI and CIA. Ultimately more than 100 individuals were ‘disappeared’ to prisons in locations including Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Guantanamo Bay. Reprieve believes prisoners may have also been held for interrogation on the USS Ashland and other ships in the Gulf of Aden during this time.”
…leading to the ‘ghost’ prisons & prisoners and Diego Garcia:
“The [ghost] prison’s existence was also confirmed by Dick Marty, a Swiss senator who produced a detailed report on “extraordinary rendition” for the Council of Europe in June 2007 (PDF) and by Manfred Novak, the UN’s Special Rapporteur on Torture, in March this year. Having spoken to senior CIA officers during his research, Marty told the European Parliament, “We have received concurring confirmations that United States agencies have used Diego Garcia, which is the international legal responsibility of the UK, in the ‘processing’ of high-value detainees,” and Manfred Novak explained to the Observer that “he had received credible evidence from well-placed sources familiar with the situation on the island that detainees were held on Diego Garcia between 2002 and 2003.” The penultimate piece of the jigsaw puzzle came in May [2008], when El Pais broke the story that “ghost prisoner” Mustafa Setmariam Nasar, whose current whereabouts are unknown, was imprisoned on the island in 2005, shortly after his capture in Pakistan — although the English-speaking press failed to notice
“Despite these previous disclosures, yesterday’s [2008] article, by Adam Zagorin, is particularly striking because of the high-level nature of the source, and his admission that “the CIA officer surprised attendees by volunteering the information, apparently to demonstrate that the agency was doing its best to obtain valuable intelligence.” In addition, the source noted that “the U.S. may also have kept prisoners on ships within Diego Garcia’s territorial waters, a contention the U.S. has long denied”
Considering the ages old folk proverb ‘leopards don’t shed their spots’, taken together with the history of CIA propping up regimes infamous for ‘disappearing’ people (juntas of Argentina, Brazil & Chile, examples given), the preceding material indicates a tremendous potential for blackmail. Into this potential ‘blackmail soup’ we can add The Guardian NEVER does friendly business with, or promotes, any entity at odds with Israel; bringing up the 11,000 known renditions aircraft flights and Reprieve practically having its hand fondly held by the Guardian when it comes to reporting on CIA renditions. What it would seem we have here is Reprieve’s a ‘limited hangout with potential’ or, that is to say if it favored Israel, it’s possible MOSSAD could arrange to feed Reprieve a ‘leak’ of renditions related documents tomorrow, naming numerous ‘ghost’ prisoners that were ‘disappeared’ and can never be accounted for, and The Guardian would publish the material in a heartbeat. Example would be the removal of David Petraeus (Paula Broadwell is the cover story) as head of CIA via a Guardian/BBC collaboration, to now absent in USA media:
“A 15-month investigation by the Guardian and BBC Arabic reveals how retired US colonel James Steele, a veteran of American proxy wars in El Salvador and Nicaragua, played a key role in training and overseeing US-funded special police commandos who ran a network of torture centres in Iraq. Another special forces veteran, Colonel James Coffman, worked with Steele and reported directly to General David Petraeus, who had been sent into Iraq to organise the Iraqi security services”
Why did Petraeus have to go? For the simple reason of religious conviction:
Dominionists celebrate Christian nationalism, in that they believe that the United States once was, and should once again be, a Christian nation. In this way, they deny the Enlightenment roots of American democracy.
Dominionists promote religious supremacy, insofar as they generally do not respect the equality of other religions, or even other versions of Christianity.
Dominionists endorse theocratic visions, insofar as they believe that the Ten Commandments, or “biblical law,” should be the foundation of American law, and that the U.S. Constitution should be seen as a vehicle for implementing Biblical principles.
“85 percent of our leadership were active in dynamic Bible study”
…became a problem for MOSSAD, that is, dominionists not only believe in a ‘Greater Israel’, they also believe in literal Armageddon, in which case the Jewish state would certainly be destroyed, have a listen to the USA’s #1 authority on dominionism in the American military…
“You’re telling me 28 to 34 percent of our military want 7 billion people to die” [believe in literal Armageddon] … “The simple answer is affirmative”
…noting the officer corps are a much higher (up to 85%) concentration of dominionism persuasion.
A sample of known dominionists surrounding Trump in the so-called ‘national security’ apparatus would include ‘the generals’ McMaster, Kelly and Mattis, all aligned with known dominionist Mike Pence, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, and now Mike Pompeo at Department of State:
“We make sure that we pray and stand and fight and make sure that we know that Jesus Christ is our savior is truly the only solution for our world” -Mike Pompeo
Insofar as the CIA Pompeo will continue to heavily influence as head of its Siamese twin Department of State, and the intelligence community generally:
“In the intelligence community, we see supervisors wanting to hold Bible studies during duty hours” -Mikey Weinstein
Complicating any attempt at injecting rationality into this scene of necrotic fundamentalism that has been aptly named the American “Christian Taliban” by the Military Religious Freedom Foundation is, superstitious Slovenian villager Melania Trump repeatedly importing scores of priests and pastors to the White House for purpose of exorcism and laying hands on ‘the donald.’
Now, to the recent ‘you’re fired’ to Tillerson, resulting in the promotions of Pompeo and Haspel.
“Bloody Gina” appointed to head up the CIA isn’t just a message of ‘anything goes’ but is much more than this, it’s a deliberate side-show setting up media distraction; it is a form of information warfare. This is because, whether Gina Haspel is confirmed to run the CIA or not, nothing changes at CIA leadership where Haspel has been the hands on grunt, as deputy director, for over a year. And it is over this past year the CIA policies described earlier in this article, will have been put in place again, never mind anything Haspel has to say in her confirmation hearing; the woman is a practitioner of narcissistic cruelty, a foot-soldier-sadist in the tradition of dominionist Dick Cheney. It is this last, immediate preceding, or Cheney legacy, should concern us above all.
Prior to the unexpected/unforeseen election of Donald Trump, the Israeli alliance with the American religious right had been a Faustian balancing act; Netanyahu and his ilk politically exploited the Christian right and its belief in a ‘Greater Israel’ but this alliance with a community that holds that ‘Greater Israel’, once established, will necessarily be destroyed, had always been tempered by neoliberals in positions of power, whether the likes of Chuck Schumer, Barack Obama, John Brennan or a whole host of other people supporting the arch-criminal Hillary Clinton, notably Soros. During the time of Bush/Cheney it could be argued Jewish neocons, as viciously aggressive as they are, helped the neoliberals keep the total insanity of these Christian Zionists in check. Corporate neocolonizing (Manifest Destiny 2.0 is where neocons, dominionists and neoliberals are indistinguishable) of the world is one thing, provoking World War Three is another thing altogether. Nearly all of this ‘restraint’ is now tossed out the window, never previously has the White House seen such a near absolute consolidation of power in the hands of theologically driven advocates of total world war.
Previous means of MOSSAD and Shin Bet checking the power of extremists in the ‘Greater Israel’ cause (when politicians weren’t listening), whether Shin Bet presently seeing off the messianic ultra-orthodox allied Bibi with corruption charges, or MOSSAD with news waiting in the wings of American press for the fact of David Petraeus had been directly responsible for torture camps and death squads in Iraq, or possibly Reprieve suddenly inheriting a largesse of information concerning the Cheney era abuses, up to and including numerous cases of ‘disappeared’ via renditions, to send off Gina Haspel, are likely useless in the present circumstance. There’s not enough time. Some context, per Natanyahu’s former MOSSAD chief:
“As Dagan sees it, Netanyahu is incapable of leading Israel and has failed on all fronts. Israel has never been so strong militarily, he argues, yet had such weak political leaders. While he worked together with Netanyahu, Dagan says that the prime minister never informed him of any concrete political or military objectives. It is only when it comes to Iran that Netanyahu has an opinion — and a goal. In order to achieve this goal, Dagan accuses Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak of trying to silence all criticism. Instead, they were replaced by individuals who reportedly have less critical views on attacking Iran and at least lack enough experience to take a firm stance against such a move.
“Dagan calls this a plot, a clandestine putsch by the politicians against the intelligence agencies. “Diskin, Ashkenazi and I succeeded in blocking all dangerous adventures,” he says, adding that now there is no one left to stand in their way.
“This version is supported by many former military officers, intelligence officials and politicians who defend Dagan and strike similar tones. “Listen to them, in every field,” says Tzipi Livni, the parliamentary opposition leader and head of the centrist Kadima party. Open criticism used to be rare in Israel, but that is no longer the case.
“Danny Yatom and Efraim Halevy, both former Mossad chiefs, say that Dagan is right to speak up — and that he apparently has good reasons for doing so. “The public should hear his opinion on Iran,” Yatom says. Those who know Dagan — and, particularly, generals and former colleagues — confirm he means what he says. They say he is neither interested in launching a political career nor seeking any benefit”
To put this preceding in perspective, it was the neoliberal Obama (believe it or not, with the help of ‘dubya’ warning Netanyahu not to take advantage of Bush Jr’s ‘lame duck’ days in office, to Cheney’s deep disappointment) stopped Bibi attacking Iran via the agreement Congress has effectively since scrapped. As a wag recently put it to me concerning Trump ousting Hillary in this planet’s greatest contest between world class criminals “so, we were better off in the frying pan, after all.”
Recalling former MOSSAD chief Dagan’s stating “Diskin, Ashkenazi and I succeeded in blocking all dangerous adventures” but these type personalities having been swept aside from the top (at least) of Israel’s security apparatus, the question arises over who in the AIPAC from the Jewish side can arrest their American Christian Zionist (dominionist) partners or if it is even possible at this point; where the Israeli lobby had screwed up and we all are faced with what they are responsible for: President Trump partnered with and surrounded by, one might say in the custody of, people willing to take the existential threat beyond all previous threshold or to a deliberate all out war with Russia. Every Trump firing at the national security level, to now, has seen replacements consolidating the dominionist position and increased the threat of civilization ending event. If it is true Israel could not exercise impunity without support of the Americans, it is equally true these American dominionists could never have come to power without decades support of Israel via AIPAC.
That it had been neoliberals who’d attempted to derail the election of Trump with their ‘Steele Dossier’ caper and ‘the Russians did it DNC hack’ information warfare against the American people, have seen their game co-opted, and are now trapped and can’t back out, would be funny if it weren’t for the larger implication. If Shiva is ‘god’, perhaps there is some meaning in all of this, beyond a sense of humor at a cosmic level.
A Criminal Magic Act

The months long rumor Pompeo would replace Tillerson at Department of State proved correct. More recently, rumor has it Trump is taking aim at the generals, beginning with National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster and intending to fire White House Chief of Staff General John Kelly as well. Meanwhile, General James Mattis, at Department of Defense, has been allowing the Pentagon to provoke Russia in both word and deed.
Donald Trump, who has already been, against his better instinct, coerced and/or manipulated into hostile relationship with Russia, may be the only thing standing between America’s dominionists and World War Three. Will he cave in altogether to the dominionists? No one knows. Will the generals engineer a war with Russia and hand it to Trump as a fait accompli? Certainly it’s possible. Will Mike Pence wait to hear his generals told ‘You’re fired!’ and see them go away? Don’t bet on it.
This is not the America that went quiet and mourned when JFK was assassinated by a cabal of businessmen aligned with Allen Dulles. Mike Pence, who has openly stated Dick Cheney is his role model, is no Lyndon Johnson. By comparison, the evil of Pence is compounded to a power of ten. What’s going on isn’t rocket science but it is a trap.

Throughout the short history of ronaldthomaswest.com, there has been a concern on my part that I would not be judged kindly. Allow me to explain. It was never my intent to take the road in life this website reflects. It covers subject matter I’d never any predisposition to delve into, a world of grotesque lies and contorted pseudo realities so profane, one should as a matter of fact presume to have a dirtied soul as matter of consequence. However I would suppose, but not with superior confidence, there might be someone or two great personalities could penetrate the manifold layers of deceit and never be dirtied, that is not me. I don’t enjoy the dirt and yet discover a visceral laugh, time to time, in myself that seems evil, reveling in injuring evil. I should suppose there is a special place in Hell for persons who become addicted to the geopolitical contest to point of living this aspect for entertainment sake. Gratefully, I can also say this is not me. Even at my most profane, what I attempt to do, and hopefully I am not deceiving myself, is reflect what I see, and what the reader should see is a reflection which does not necessarily implicate myself, but is a filtered refraction that works to remove the mirage and gain better insights to the nature and structures of the evil we are confronted with.
But even when working to make people laugh with my satire, a means to break the grip of, and dis-empower that evil over our lives, one should never lose sight of the fact there is an ugliness taken over our world that is unprecedented in history; with the power to cross nearly every frontier unchecked. Wicked gossip, for all of the problems it had created throughout human history, were never so profane and evil as the intelligence operations seen in today’s world, especially the information operations in our western world or, one could say empire mass media of the digital age.
Not being of the western civilization, culturally speaking, one might suppose I could sit back and enjoy watching Christendom tearing itself apart like a pack of dogs turned on itself. But when was it ever different to this? Europe has been attacking itself throughout modern history, and even before that. Western civilization, to the times preceding Homer, are a story of the sword. Now, in the era of nuclear weapons, this historical, and one could consequently argue, innate aggression, signals a collective suicide is inevitable. How is it this culture can, in the meanwhile, view itself as humanitarian and altruistic, is beyond the pale of sane reason, it is a peculiar insanity in and of itself.
But it is the culture, especially today’s Christian culture sprung from Europe, it is not some biological factor, that threatens to end us all in the present moment. Other cultures, particularly those the Christian culture had extirpated, were never pointed to the threat we see today.
In the ‘half-civilized’ European based culture called American, where the jails and asylums of Europe had been emptied, and religious fanatics banished to, all stirred into a hybrid vigor, now a superstitious Slovenian villager, Melania Trump, has scores of pastors and priests trouping through the White House, exorcising the premises and pouring oil on and hopefully blessing ‘the donald’ as that moron flails hopelessly in the custody of generals whose real loyalties are difficult to pin down; in a mishmash comprised of corporate board future promise related to wealth, present self-important strut-mincing for geopolitical posturing sake, and not least, rabid fundamentalism so extreme as to be labeled Christian Taliban, a point of ‘faith’ they share with commander-in-chief-in-waiting Mike Pence, an American Himmler if ever there were such a creature determined to be unleashed upon us by the fates.
This preceding is nuclear armed cocktail creating its own ‘raison d’ être.’
Relevant to this, for over a year this blog has made the case there was never a ‘Russian DNC hack’ that was actually an insider leak by the assassinated Seth Rich, and now a former admiral has published at the Washington Times what amounts to identical argument made here; the entire ‘Russians did it’ business is being sustained with corrupt process by criminals at the FBI and above. Interestingly, the admiral suggests Mike Pence’s fraternal brother, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, is not up to the job when he concludes:
“The Trump administration must take charge and get a competent attorney general to pursue these crimes”
He’s right. But what he may not realize is, the traitors surrounding Trump include (but are not limited to) John Kelly, ‘Mad Dog’ Mattis, H.R. McMaster, that is the generals, not only Mike Pence and Jeff Sessions, Jeff Sessions being the Attorney General who has NOT called out ‘the Russians did it’ caper for what it is, a CIA initiated information operation spurring appointment of Special Counsel to take down Trump.
None of these preceding are standing in the way of Trump being taken down by corrupt process, lies as it were, it was John Kelley denied Trump opportunity to meet with Dana Rohrabacher and break the facts of the DNC leak into the open. Why would a recently retired Marine Corps general, who happens to be White House Chief of Staff, sabotage reporting of fact to the President of the United States, facts that should defuse tensions with Russia by removing false accusations, but instead shields criminal culpability engineering aggression? They’re playing for time, to give Robert Mueller opportunity to bring charges altogether unrelated to the purported Russia caper, a failed CIA endeavor, instead holding out for indicting Trump on his historic mafia ties, going back to the days of Roy Cohn. The dirt is there. But Trump is a petty criminal by comparison to Department of Justice players in the game at this point merely to save their own asses. The game has been flipped on the unwitting CIA assets at DoJ who are in turn being gamed by the generals.
Mike Pence is the generals’ deep state player of choice and Pentagon insurance policy from the time of Trump’s nomination and choice of running mate. In the internecine war between the neoliberal deep state players embedded at CIA versus the Pentagon, vying for the upper hand at the White House, it is the generals who’re winning (to now.)
Vladimir ‘The Innocent’ (in this circumstance) had recently laid out a very reasonable case for how the USA has, over two decades, positioned itself to militarily confront Russia, broken their promise not to move NATO east, aborted the ABM treaty, used subterfuge, refused cooperation, and more, all pointed to underhandedly seeking dominance over Russia’s area of strategic interests. The result had finally been Russia unmasking new strategic weapons the USA is ill prepared to counter. Having announced the new systems, President Putin stated:
“No, nobody really wanted to talk to us about the core of the problem, and nobody wanted to listen to us. So, listen to us now!”
I fear Mr Putin has over-estimated the rationality of these ‘nobodies.’ It may well be they’re incapable of listening. They have weapons mass of destruction and they’ll lie to themselves concerning any mismatch of capabilities and ultimately decide they have developed sufficient strategy to ‘test’ those weapons in some circumstance other than a game. In other words, the American generals are legitimately insane. If you don’t think so, likely you’re suffering a form of denial that is insanity too.
By definition, people who lie to themselves as a matter of habit, should be considered mentally unbalanced. It follows, when your institutions and leadership pervasively lie to the public (because they are organically incapable of being honest with themselves) and actually believe this lying is a ‘good thing’, after all, these people do go to church, you have a ‘larger than life’ problem, Jesus saying ‘everything that is concealed will be revealed’ notwithstanding.
Meanwhile, our media having run with these lies, despite ample evidence there’s not an honest man in the lot of these cowards who would rule us, points to outcome beyond the comprehension of a public incapable of absorbing facts they have little access to. When this charade falls apart, as it must, it may be well too late for any resolution within the bounds of reason. By then, the criminal element will have upped the ante to outright actionable insanity, because leopards don’t shed their spots and criminals don’t voluntarily surrender their business models. They’ll take whatever action they think necessary to avoid going to jail and if that means a serious enough war justifying suspending civil liberties and declaring martial law at home, that is precisely the direction things will take, short of some courageous statesman, at the state level, leveling with the people, and getting media to go along. What are the chances of this civil salvation? Slim to none and growing more remote everyday.

Over the past 12 years or so, since the founding of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, complaints the American military’s commanders are (illegally) shoving unwanted, extreme Christian, fundamentalism down our soldiers’ throats, on average, are reported 12 times everyday. This constitutes, as of today’s composition, well over 53,000 complaints of what amounts to violations by our military leaders of their oath to uphold the constitution.
From Saint Augustine’s ‘Just War’ theology taught to nuclear launch officers, to Bible verses engraved on military issue sniper scopes, to persistent, repeated, mandatory prayer attendance (and much more), the United States Department of Defense has both; established a religion, that is fundamentalist Christianity, and made a religious test of compliance throughout command structures. 53,000 complaints in 12 years, over 90% from non-fundamentalist Christian members of the military, have established there IS a fundamentalist Christian religious requirement in the American military.
This necrotic ugliness not only rules at the Pentagon, but is also embedded in the White House. White House Chief of Staff General Kelly, Secretary of Defense General Mattis and National Security Advisor Lieutenant General McMaster, all, are in position to team up and put an emphatic and final stop to these dangerous, illegal and demoralizing behaviors but none of them lifts a finger.

MRFF’s Most Memorable Emails Of 2017

Throughout the year, the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) gets a lot of email, and, not surprisingly, as a civil rights organization protecting the separation of church and state in our military, much of the email is hate mail. We are bombarded on a daily basis with emails from so-called “Christians” — emails containing the most vile racist and anti-semitic cartoons; stomach-turning references to the Holocaust, usually directed specifically at MRFF’s founder and president Mikey Weinstein and his family; and a steady stream of the most disgusting homophobic, Islamophobic, and white supremacist vomit that a computer keyboard is capable of emitting — all in the name of Christ, of course.
A typical email from one of these fine “Christians” will usually include a line like this: “All soldiers will bow to the Flag of CHRIST! Last time we checked there are more white Christians who have bled out and died for our US of A then jews nigras or arab insects.” Others will make their point with subject lines like: “LGBT = Liberty, Guns, Bibles, Trump… Michael, NO QUEERS in our Military!”
But for those of us at MRFF it is not the hate-filled emails that are the most memorable. These merely serve as a constant reminder of the evil we are fighting. The emails that are the most memorable to us are the ones from the service members, veterans, and others who we’ve been able to help when this evil has left them with nowhere else to turn.
So, to end 2017, here are a handful of the emails from this year that, in the midst of all the hate mail, make it all worth it.
Subject: L’dor va’dor-MRFF Enables Daughter To Achieve Pilot Dreams
To The Military Religious Freedom Foundation,
We are a Jewish family living in (city and state withheld). We are proud that our daughter is now a full fledged (military service branch name withheld) pilot. Please keep our family’s identification confidential.
As my husband and I reflect back on this year we wanted to thank all of you at the MRFF for the intervention the MRFF provided this past (summer month withheld) on behalf of our daughter, (military officer’s name and rank withheld) who was so badly struggling.
(Daughter’s name withheld) had faced both direct and in-direct antisemitism while a student pilot at (military training base name withheld). She had also been forced to endure nearly constant Christian proselytizing by her immediate chain of command especially 2 of her Instructor Pilots and her (unit’s name designation withheld and unit senior ranking job title withheld). She was hurt and despondent and did not know what to do or where to turn.
We love our daughter. We tried to help her to help herself by any means the (military service branch name withheld) had available at hand within her (unit designation withheld) for such things. Nothing worked and it became even harder for her and us. (Daughter’s name withheld) looked like she would wash out of pilot training and even the (military service branch name withheld). Her lifelong dream was to fly in the (military service branch name withheld). Her dreams were about to be dashed.
We were just heartbroken. We had all but given up.
Until our daughter spoke with (name and rank of MRFF representative) at (name of military training base withheld) who connected us with Mikey Weinstein of the MRFF. I will not detail what or how Mikey Weinstein did what he did. I will only say that he did it very fast and very strong in defense of our daughter. Just a matter of a week and half later our daughter’s plight had been confirmed by the (military service branch name withheld) at (military training base name withheld). Those who had been doing her wrong because of her Jewish faith were removed from further training and evaluating her. She was given a fresh chance to prove that her flying met the standards. And she was no longer being told that she needed to demonstrate to her superiors that she would “get right with Christ” in order to graduate from pilot training.
(Daughter’s name withheld) graduated on (2017 date withheld) and is now thriving as a (military service branch withheld) pilot. She has achieved her dearest dreams! She has achieved our dreams too!
My father survived the Holocaust after suffering the unimaginable for (number of years and months withheld) as a very young man at Auschwitz-Birkenau. He lived to raise a loving family but did not live to see our daughter, his granddaughter, have pilot’s wings placed on her (military service branch name withheld) uniform. But on that day of days and through tears of joy (daughter’s name withheld) had her grandfather’s picture in her pocket when those wings were pinned on at the graduation ceremony by her Commander.
Oh he would have been so very proud of her.
And he would have been so proud of the MRFF which made it happen.
Our family will never forget what the MRFF did to enable these dreams of three generations of our family to be realized. Our hearts filled with love and thanks go out to all of you at the MRFF who help so many like us. Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas to the people and heroes of the MRFF.

She was being bad bullied for being Roman Catholic by her (unit supervisor’s title and rank withheld) who is Christian evangelist. What she was forced to go through was very mean and hurtful. As her parents we did not know where to turn to to help our daughter.
But her battle buddy knew different. She had been helped by the MRFF 2 years before over something also bad because she was not evangelist. She told her to call you all at the MRFF. (daughter’s name withheld) did this with our blessing. Even though after midnight Mr. M. Weinstein took the phone call. Thanks to the MRFF she was given the fast help she needed to stop the anti-R. Catholic harassment from her Army boss. She is now thriving and even been promoted. She names the MRFF as the reason she is and why she is now so happy!

We took your advice and confronted our (U.S. Army soldier’s title and rank withheld) about what he said at our (name of mandatory military formation withheld) on (date withheld).
He said at first that he denied saying that the Armys jews atheists and muslims were not as trustworthy in combat as the army’s christians. That they were not saved for not having Christ and all. But too many of us heard it and he had no choice but to try to slip out of it and just say that he had just been misunderstood and some other bullshit.
Me and the other soldiers in our (Army unit name withheld) told him that we had filed complaints with you and the mrff. And that we were considering filing with Insp Gen and with (senior Army unit Commander’s name withheld) and others. Anyways he got all scared and all. Now he know how he makes us feel. And he asked us to give him another chance and all. Course he is still the one we told you about who said all the bad shit about Obama not being a christian and all. Says Obama being an arab muslim and never stops talking about how better trump is and all. To Military Religious Freedom Foundation of New Mexico,
I am sorry for taking too much time to write in thanks for what you all did for us to fix a bad problem with what our (unit name withheld) Commander said to us all at our (annual training event name withheld) in (month withheld) of 2017 at (installation name withheld) AFB in (city and state withheld).
He was explaining what it meant to be a great Wingman for our fellow airman and then went on a freaking rant about how we ‘should all be like the greatest wingman ever in the world’s history Jesus Christ.’ He said stuff like to be a good wingman is to be a good Christian and vive versa. So many of us were pissed at all of this. We’re not idiots and making all of the Jesus comparing to USAF Wingman standards was stupid even tho some airmen liked it.
Me and many other members of the (unit name withheld) saw this as super messed up. I tried to tell this wrongness to our (unit name withheld) (subordinate military supervisor’s title withheld) but all he said was that we were dead wrong and was being a very disloyal wingmen to even object to what our (unit name withheld) Commander had spoken about Jesus at (annual training event name withheld). And by the way I am not Christian but my wife is and most of those who joined me in asking for the MRFFs help are Christians.
Our First Shirt (name and rank withheld) gave us Mr. Weinstein’s name and phone number from when he needed the MRFF back in the day of 2011 on National prayer breakfast at (installation name and state withheld). He said none of our names would ever get out to anyone especially AF OSI for asking for the MRFFs help.
We called Mr. Weinstein at late night and he talks to us for almost an hour. Can’t say what or how it was done but only 2 days later (name and rank withheld) who is the (higher unit name withheld) Commander spoke to us at (previously scheduled unit training event name withheld) to tell us that comparing a good Wingman to Jesus was wrong and out of line. Broke regs too. Best part was when our (unit name withheld) commander spoke to us next and also apologized. We were all like “F— YES”!!
For me and my fellow airmen who asked for their help we thank the MRFF for making it all good again. The MRFF is our Wingman now!
‘There’s a war coming‘: Marine Corps commandant tells troops to be ready for a ‘big-ass fight’ as US military planners say next conflict could be against Russia or North Korea
In the age of nuclear weapons, this preceding goes to a paramount oxymoron of European cultural thought:

The two tribal groups spokesmen replied to Harry Boise, following discussion among themselves:

In other words, the present day Platonic/Cartesian philosophy or ‘objectivity’ underlying western science and its exploitation of “the knowledge and use of any or all the powers of the objects on Earth around us” is a misapprehension of reality according to experiments carried out by that very same western science. Yet, this is ignored by western science, as if the experiments had never been carried out and the contradiction didn’t exist.
Why? Well, try this next:

If the myth is culturally indestructible, here is the likely, upcoming fruit of necessarily ignoring the contradiction, to uphold the myth:

Note the contradiction in General Mattis’ preceding statement, indicating he’s holding several hundreds (or thousands) of kilotons of nuclear explosion(s) behind his back as he approaches his adversary with ‘peace.’ This is result of a culture that is incompatible with its pretensions, a culture of practical (or practicing) hypocrites. Bombing North Korea will easily draw in Russia and China. Altogether aside from Korea, our presently pumping offensive weapons into Ukraine could bring Russia on in a ‘stands alone’ NATO fight.
Now, consider we have 4, four star Marine Corps generals, that is Trump’s Chief of Staff General ‘ass-hat’ Kelly, Trump’s Secretary of Defense General ‘mad-dog’ Mattis, Trump’s Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Dumbford and Trump’s Marine Corps Commandant General ‘big-ass’ Neller at the reins of a USA ‘defense’ establishment… none of which have lifted a finger to clean up the rampant, literal Armageddon believing, hyper-extreme Christian fundamentalists running not only the Pentagon, but every major branch of every American military department. The investigative watchdog group Military Religious Freedom Foundation calls these people “The Christian Taliban.” Meanwhile, you can take in your illegal (constitutionally impermissible) Pentagon Bible study HERE.
“You’re telling me 28 to 34 percent of our military want 7 billion people to die” [believe in literal Armageddon] … “The simple answer is affirmative”
So, other than our politicians’ lies and related media fantasies, what is the main handicap stands in the way of everyday people waking up to this rapidly approaching reality before it is too late? It is probably this one:

This preceding could also called ethnocentric bias, or the European mentality’s cultural narcissism. Now, when the Platonic-Cartesian mentalities are too ? It would appear quite possible that groups of people create collective realities seeming unconsciously, and cause via their collective belief, events to take on what would appear to be an ‘unconscious’ but in reality is a ‘super-conscious’ intelligence that is organized, functions as though it were managed by individuals (even when it is not) and the result is, we can read into those events as though they were managed in a sense they actually are not.
This collective ‘meme’ can explain what is called in the biblical sense ‘principalities of darkness’ or that is to say a ‘spirit of evil’ managing events in a sense of both conspiracy and superstition.
There is quite a bit of ‘coincidental incidence’ in our world indicating peoples of the western culture are creating reality quite independent of self-aware thought and, to a rational observer, it could seem almost certainly by design when in fact this is not necessarily the case. Such would explain a belief in Illuminati when in fact it did not exist in any individual self conscious or ego-aware organized form but nevertheless manifest as an observable phenomena of symptoms or consequence derived from a collective super-conscious phenomenon.
A conclusion could be there is a ‘super awareness’ of the group causes what appear ingenious evils of conspiracy when in fact there is no one individual or group of managers within the group capable of implementing these designs which, nonetheless in actuality, are perceived. To accomplish reality of evil would only require evil ideas as cultural drivers; example given Original Sin and the devastation visited upon our world’s women, the greatest and ongoing holocaust among holocausts.
The natural progression to end result would be, when a large portion of an aggressive society collectively believes in Armageddon as an archetype, all of the necessary players will naturally manifest in a super-conscious organized format empowered to bring it off, where no one individual or group of individuals or players could effect this by individual or personal volition; nevertheless the super-consciousness of the event’s initiating group insures creation of this reality for the collective whole.
Have you looked at the apocalyptic ‘good versus evil’ fables driving our world’s several fundamentalist religions’ reality recently? If cosmology is the effective driver of what appears to be pointed to inevitable catastrophic outcome, better to change fables, you think? Now, just how do you suppose this could be accomplished? On 29 November 2017, the number was fifty two thousand, nine hundred twenty seven. The message accompanying the number was “we’ll break through 53,000 in a few days, I assure you.” We will come back to this.
Now, about that 1st paragraph in the USA’s so-called “Bill of Rights”
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances
Every one of these preceding stipulations is routinely trashed; by people who put on a cloak called color of law, when they swear an oath to uphold the constitution and promptly set out to violate that very oath. It would require a book the size of the greater Los Angeles telephone directory to get through a comprehensive documentation of just how widespread and pervasive this has become, across the institutions of the USA. So, we’ll condense the lesson.
Let’s take the last 1st Amendment clause, this one is key to understanding the crux of the problem:
Congress shall make no law … abridging … the right of the people … to petition the Government for a redress of grievances
Well, they did, with the complicity of the judicial and executive branches, when the United States assumed and asserted a doctrine of Sovereign Immunity from suit. In the simplest words, in the USA supposedly The People are the sovereign, not your congressman, senator, or the president, and the courts should uphold that. But instead of meaning something concrete, like a right to force compliance with the constitution via lawsuit, Sovereign Immunity has seen this right reduced to a right to whine, per wikipedia:
The Petition Clause protects the right to petition all branches and agencies of government for action
Excuse me, but what’s been left out of Wikipedia’s explanation is “redress” is a synonym for justice. Whining to your congressman the courts are denying fundamental rights isn’t going to cut it when it comes to complying with the constitution, because they’re all in bed together undercutting the foundational law and here’s a premium example … the Senate confirms the president’s appointment of John Roberts to become Chief Justice. The Chief Justice appoints the judges of the secret FISA court, and this following 4th Amendment language is flushed down the public commode:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized
And this 5th Amendment language:
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation
And this 6th Amendment language:
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence
All of these rights have been flushed by Congress, with passing the FISA laws, like a junkie with the police at his door, disposing of his heroin, and not a single justice of the Supreme Court of the United States stands up and says Hey! What about our oath to uphold the Constitution?
That’s precisely what ‘color of law‘ is, it is the government, in this case the courts, saying the constitution doesn’t mean what it says because Congress says it means something else, and we’re the ones [the courts] who will [wrongly] uphold this law. In other words, the foundational law (constitution) says justice is white, but we can [wrongfully] color it red. Clearly there is a problem with the president appointing, and the senate approving, rank political animals to the federal courts, whose oath to uphold the constitution is patently meaningless:
Because of FISA provisions brought on by the Patriot Act, the … administration can … invoke “sovereign immunity” which would … allow it to nullify legal challenges brought on by Americans who were spied on. US district judge Jeffrey White specifically notes in the opinion that the government hasn’t waived its right to do so [invoke sovereign immunity] with FISA, stating that “the potential risk to national security may still be too great to pursue confirmation of the existence or facts relating to the scope of the alleged governmental program.” The US government normally has this kind of legal protection unless it is either waived or special laws apply.
‘Waived or special laws apply’ appears to mean if you have a lot of money and hire precisely the right law dog, one who is trained to jump through the very specific hoops of the Federal Fictitious Claims Tort Act, ok, then you might get lucky and slip past sovereign immunity (but probably never in a FISA case.)
Now, to the 11th Amendment and the associated, suspect, idea the USA has rightfully reasserted the doctrine of Sovereign Immunity:
The Judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States by Citizens of another State, or by Citizens or Subjects of any Foreign State
What had happened here, is a contractor from South Carolina was owed a war debt by the State of Georgia, which didn’t want to pay up. The Supreme Court had ruled there was no such thing as a state sovereign immunity, in the case of Chisholm v Georgia
Nearly all of the states freaked out at the prospect of having to pay up on their war debts and the 11th Amendment was passed, posthaste. And just like that, two immediate and a third, remarkable things happened;
1) Although the 11th Amendment is specific and narrow, and doesn’t so much as mention Sovereign Immunity, the legendary English Common Law expert William Blackstone’s Sovereign Immunity doctrine is reinstated in the former colonies: “The King moreover is not only incapable of doing wrong, but even of thinking wrong; he can never mean to do an improper thing: in him is no folly or weakness.” Only now, suddenly it is no longer the ‘King’ can act with impunity, but the institutions of government in the newly formed United States.
2) With the passing of the 11th Amendment by the several states legislators, all of the lawsuits pending in federal court per state war debts had been erased, and half the language of Article One, Section Nine, of the Constitution had been tossed into the ash bin: “No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.” Thomas Jefferson indicated this language had been meant to cover both criminal and civil circumstance of law, and the constitutional language supports this assertion by Jefferson; ‘Bill of Attainder’ should refer to criminal, and ‘ex post facto’ should refer to civil liabilities. In other words, the USA should not have been allowed to make law, criminalizing or creating liability, or excusing crime and liability, after the fact, to get the outcome it wants. The 11th Amendment neither mentions nor lifts this other constitutional provision. But now, civil ex post facto law happens frequently, such as Congress ‘forgiving’ the telecom companies illegally spying on Americans, erasing liability and robbing citizens of their day in court.
3) The third thing to happen was, as late as 1991, in Blatchford v. Native Village of Noatak, the Supreme Court wrote:
“we have understood the Eleventh Amendment to stand not so much for what it says, but for the presupposition of our constitutional structure which it confirms: that the States entered the federalfeudal system with their sovereignty intact, that the judicial authority in Article III is limited by this sovereignty, and that a State will therefore not be subject to suit in federal court unless it has consented to suit, either expressly or in the “plan of the convention” [my correction of SCOTUS language in bold]
And there you have it, from the early days of the Supreme Court saying Sovereign Immunity is a non existent thing in immediate post colonial USA law, to the several states’ legislatures passing the 11th Amendment which doesn’t so much as mention Sovereign Immunity, to escape war debt, to the modern Supreme Court stating the language of our constitution’s 11th Amendment doesn’t mean what it actually says, but instead means what they want it to say, essentially stating ‘we’ll extend ‘the King’s prerogative‘ as far as we please, and we’ll use the 11th Amendment to absurdly assert what amounts to a claim the King’s Sovereign Immunity was never a point of the American Revolution.’
Here’s the simple math: From King George III was our ‘sovereign’ entitled to immunity (amounting to impunity), to ‘the people’ are sovereign, to politicians claiming they hold the people’s sovereignty (amounting to impunity), to judges appointed by those very politicians upholding this political theft of our freedoms, to the oath to uphold our constitution becoming patently meaningless, even especially when before the courts.
Recalling:

Relevant to the preceding, there are two mentions of religion in the USA’s constitution:
Article Six, Section 3 states “no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States”
And the 1st Amendment’s ‘no establishment’ clause enumerates “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”
Over the past 12 years or so, complaints these clauses have been violated, on average, are reported 12 times everyday; concerning a single United States institution. That institution is the Department of Defense.
As of today’s composition, 53,000 or so complaints of violations by our military leaders of their oath to uphold the constitution.
From Saint Augustine’s ‘Just War’ theology taught to nuclear launch officers, to Bible verses engraved on military issue sniper scopes, to persistent, repeated, mandatory prayer attendance, the United States Department of Defense has both; established a religion, that is fundamentalist Christianity, and made a religious test of compliance throughout command structures. 53,000 complaints in 12 years, over 90% from non-fundamentalist Christian members of the military, have established there IS a fundamentalist Christian religious requirement in the American military.
53,000 complaints, 12 years of forcing the military into administrative procedures to correct having ‘the gospel of Jesus Christ’ [fundamentalist version] shoved down the rank and file throats, all brought to the attention of the command structures in the United States military, there is no courts martial, no administrative punishments and the Pentagon takes no action. This is a fundamentalist Christian culture of anti-constitutional impunity.
Now, where this gets really interesting is, we have generals who were/are on duty, at the highest levels of the American military structures, when this should have been cleaned up, it was not cleaned up, and is not being cleaned up, surrounding Trump. One of them, General Mattis, is the boss of the Department of Defense. Another, Lieutenant General McMaster, is Trump’s National Security Advisor. The ‘retired’ General Kelly is Trump’s Chief of Staff [Trump’s baby sitter, the generals appear to own Trump] and it’s General Kelly is behind the latest administration change: the proposed pushing Rex Tillerson out as Secretary of State and bringing the rabid Christian fundamentalist, Mike Pompeo, from CIA to replace Tillerson. Pompeo’s replacement to be, at CIA? A military crusader turned politician, Tom Cotton, his trajectory being from the Arkansas family farm, to Harvard Law, to deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan, to one term congressman, to freshman senator, to CIA. His only qualifications for the job appear to be an Iran animus and militant Christian fundamentalism.
Does anyone see where this is all pointed?

One more thing. Trump has handed off his Commander-in-Chief responsibilities to General Mattis. With the General’s known Iran animus and pushing war game after war game in North Korea’s face, is this the guy will end it all?

Number one, that’s not a language of diplomacy. It’s a pretense, very thinly concealing ‘it’s my way or I’ll blow you away’ and that’s not how you do business with the Ayatollahs or Kim Jong Un, not to mention China or Russia. But maybe that’s besides the point. The guy that refuses to clean up the crusading in the American military probably could care less if the rest of us all die. I had finished reading your book, “With God on Our Side” on the airplane about 2 hours before we touched down at Ft Campbell on our redeployment from an extended tour in Iraq. It was dark, cold, and rainy when we walked down the jet’s stairs to shake hands with a 1- or 2- star general. We then dropped our gear, and got into a mandatory formation to head into the hangar where all the families were. Still in formation, we were “treated” to a completely mandatory Christian talk (? sermon) by the Division Chaplain. All this just a few hours after reading in your book how this shouldn’t be happening in our military. I was pretty upset about it, but was stuck in formation and couldn’t go anywhere.
I started supporting MRFF shortly after that.
Thanks again for what you and MRFF do. No other organization can or will do what MRFF does to fight this type of bigotry in the military ranks. It’s uncomfortable to put up with (at best) and difficult or impossible to fight it from within the chain of command

One wonders if Kim Jong Un is posing for James Mattis, as in a mocking pose along the lines of ‘hey, Mattis, look at us knuckle draggers, we’ve just popped a hydrogen bomb, and successfully tested a missile with multiple independent re-entry vehicles, how do you like those bananas’?
Now, why will I pick on Secretary of Defense, General Mattis, and his military cohorts, as opposed to Trump? Well, because of JRR Tolkien, and his character ‘Wormtongue’ whispering lies to the King of Rohan; and the fact the USA is no longer a Republic but a theocratic monarchy along the lines of the biblical kings, with an usurper on the throne.
To kick off our story, Wormtongue, er, that is James Mattis and his generals, are a very big liars. This is evident in his Pentagon insisting the USA can intercept any nuclear armed missile ‘rocket boy’ can toss at Guam, Alaska, Hawaii, or for that matter, Chicago. Did Mattis personally say that? No, that line of horseshit, following on the Pentagon, is more recently coming from the Department of State. But in the USA’s system of jurisprudence, our Department of Defense’s chief philosopher, that is Mattis, is guilty of practicing a ‘lie by omission’ because:

“When Pyongyang shot a missile over Japan, it flew high enough that no US system would be able to reach it, Cirincione wrote in a report for Defense One.
“The key word here is ‘over.’ Like way over,” Cirincione wrote. “Like 770 kilometers (475 miles) over Japan at the apogee of its flight path. Neither Japan nor the United States could have intercepted the missile. None of the theater ballistic missile defense weapons in existence can reach that high”
“The US missile defense consists of three layers, including the Patriot, THAAD and the Aegis systems.
“According to Cirincione, currently the United States has a “50-50 chance” of hitting a missile similar to North Korea’s Hwasong-14 while the missile is in flight. And those results are only possible if the DPRK used zero countermeasures, such as decoys (some as simple as a balloon), electronic jammers and chaff.
“The only system designed to defend the US homeland, known as the [GMD], has suffered from numerous technical and engineering problems, and testing in controlled conditions has not demonstrated that it can provide a reliable defense against even a small number of unsophisticated ICBMs,” Reif said.
“The success rate of the GMD systems in flight intercept tests has been dismal,” Cirincione quoted Philip Coyle, former director of operational testing for the Pentagon, as saying”
So, as Wormtongue, er, that is Mattis, practices the lie of omission on the very NOT sovereign American people of our theocratic monarchy, his lieutenant H.R. McMaster…
…takes his primate’s display of aggression public with:
“The U.S. has gamed out four or five different scenarios for how the crisis with North Korea will be resolved, and “some are uglier than others,” National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster said as tensions remain high between the two countries.
“…McMaster said the threat from Pyongyang is “much further advanced” than anticipated and the Pentagon said the president has a “deep arsenal” to draw upon…”
What is interesting here is, the freaked out chimp McMaster stating ‘much further advanced’ than anticipated. Now, it stands to reason, if you’ve been caught with your pants down and just figured out North Korea not only has the H-bomb, but the means to deliver it, AND, YOU DON’T HAVE THE MEANS TO PREVENT DELIVERY, you shouldn’t be behaving like a freaked out chimp in aggression mode. But that’s what ‘McMaster’ can’t ‘master’ … he can’t seem to lay his hands on that 1% of DNA that differentiates chimps from humans.
And insofar as the recent ‘intelligence’ fed the western press by South Korea’s spy agency, the idea North Korea couldn’t see the USA’s ‘stealth’ B-1 bomber, well, that’s likely a fantasy because North Korea has a reasonably up-to-date (via China) cloned or home-grown surface to air system based on the Russian S-300 and that system profiles like this:

Now, there is some argument as to whether the S-300 can accurately hit the stealth technology aircraft, but they should be able to see the stealth fighters. And even if they couldn’t see a stealth bomber arriving, North Korea would know to initiate a nuclear launch from the first arriving attack on it’s air defense stations or other installations, as it is hardly reasonable to expect solo stealth bombers (any stealth fighter escorts would be detected for the fact they have a higher radar profile) except in case of a USA initiated ‘preemptive’ surprise nuclear 1st strike; which is likely the only ‘gamed’ scenario the troglodytes at the Pentagon can deceive themselves into believing stands a chance at preventing any North Korea nuke(s) heading towards their (soon to be demonstrated as failed) anti-ballistic missile shield in the event of war.
Now, about that usurper sitting on the throne…
