Nationalism versus Malignant Nationalism
Nationalism is actually cultural. Malignant nationalism is what happens when a culture feels threatened. Benign, or cultural nationalism, should be defined as what it actually is, patriotism. Example given, in the secular tradition of the republic, coupled to the culture, ‘To be French!’ is a form of patriotism.
Malignant nationalism, on the other hand, is a sort of herniated patriotism run amok; due to fear, oppression, or in some cases, a narcissistic chauvinism’s manipulations and, oftentimes, a combination of these.
Some cultures, those with a thoroughly militaristic history, for instance Prussia, or Austria of the Hapsburgs’ empire, are more inclined to a malignant nationalism; however this had been somewhat tempered in the French due to historical events attempting (however unevenly) to establish a republic, nonetheless it is invisible neo-colonial forces rule.
The British transition to democracy had ultimately been one of a ‘democracy for me but not for thee’ ruling class model where the Anglo-Saxon cultural chauvinism has devolved from King John’s barons, of the Magna Carta era, to become the contemporary, self-centered, corporate rule or, the manipulative phenomenon represented today’s ‘Five Eyes’ intelligence agencies unanswerable to anyone other than that ‘noble’ class represented in the corporations’ large stakeholder.
Honestly, relative to the history developed from these preceding, you can forget about the charade called a ballot box. Liberalism versus Neo-Liberalism
“Liberalism”, in its’ original sense, simply meant the corporations (or the era’s equivalent) had loosened the marionette strings a bit. The most conservative governments of the Western nation-states are at the head of history’s so-called “liberal democracies.” The degeneracy accomplished by those who’ve espoused a hard line of ‘liberalism’ over the past 100 years is stark; when any & every deviancy that can be imagined is pushed into a society’s face, falling under a protective rubric of “Free Expression” opposed to traditional values (whether or not those ‘traditional values’ are coercive), social tensions will result in the extreme. An excellent example of the scope of the degeneracy would be to compare the ‘feminism’ of Cicily Isabel Fairfield of the 1930s to the feminism of today. Fairfield possessed elements of conservatism that were admirable; she wanted a ‘fair shake’ for women, nothing more. She absolutely admired ‘manly’ men and detested the rising homosexual culture of the West’s liberal democracies. Her stance was there should be a principled detente between the male and female worlds with an honest ‘free trade’ agreement between the sexes that was not hypocritical; example given would be those posed as monogamous, married, but prostitute-serviced males, should not be excused any more than a slut posing as a faithful wife but performing like a champion whore behind her husband’s back. Social contracts can be honorable and must be honored or drop the pretense. What is more, Fairfied clearly recognized women’s and men’s distinct cultural worlds. I expect Fairfield would outright reject today’s feminism and its’ embrace of a liberal degeneracy where everyone is demanded to embrace LGBT as though it were a prerequisite for a subsequent, mandatory, mono-sexuality. Men must deny their testosterone, women must suppress their estrogen, and any cultural evolution is not allowed to distinguish the natural androgyny of intelligence as anything different to sexuality, there are no more female and male worlds in interaction. In Liberalism’s new, ideal mono-sexual culture, everyone is required to be, philosophically speaking, either half dyke or half fag.
There should be a categorical difference perceived between allowing a respectful space for gays & the diverse transgenders, and the unnatural (moronic, actually) demand these lifestyles be embraced in some fraternal sense by more traditional straight people, no different to female and male cultures should be allowed space to evolve in healthy, cooperative direction, not abolished. Modern feminism’s (and their allied LBGT) ‘in-your-face’ evangelism is a reactionary form of cultural imperialism little different (mirror image) to the prior circumstance of the coercive, conservative Christian culture’s imperialism that has historically suppressed women and gays.

Was Soleimani an enemy of Americans? Without question, this was the case. But who created him? How did Soleimani become an enemy of the USA? Plain and simple, American policy is squarely to blame.
In short, it was 1953 when the CIA overthrew the democratic government of Iran and converted Shah Reza Pahlavi into an absolute monarch who promptly morphed into a brutal dictator infamous for the widespread torture & executions of his own people. The Shah’s new secret police (created in 1956), SAVAK, trained in kidnapping, torture and disappearing people by CIA, MI6 & MOSSAD, crudely propped up this iteration of Iranian ‘governance’ with domestic state terror to 1979.
By this time, Iranian people across widely divergent political paths had been long united in determination to be rid of both; the Shah and the foreign influence that had propped up his murderous rule for 25 years, leading to capture of the USA embassy by the Iranian student movement.
As it happens, the dust settled after the revolution of 1979 and it was the conservative ayatollahs came out on top and a theocratic republic had been established in Iran. Since, this Islamic republic has zealously refused the influence of the USA and Israel’s regional hegemony (Britain had faded from this equation as a major player but that could change.)
Who could blame the Iranians? There has been nothing short of ongoing decades hostility directed at Iran, resulting in an Iranian patriotism devoted to a sincere antipathy to Zionism, whether that of Israel’s “Yinon Plan” or the necrotic-apocalyptic Christian Zionism of the USA that is backing habitual Israeli regional-geopolitical misdemeanors; up to and inclusive of USA support for Israeli assassination of Iranian scientists in recent times, generating support for the ayatollahs across Iranian society.
Soleimani was brilliant at undermining USA/Israeli interests in Syria, Lebanon & Iraq. There is little doubt his efforts have helped the Houthis versus the Saudis in Yemen. He was also key in organizing the main effort which led to defeating the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq (it were never a black & white world.) No doubt he would have seen Iran’s enemy al-Qaida (and its’ spinoff Islamic State) as a USA production and not without reason; al-Qaida was born out of the USA arming the Mujahideen against the Soviets in 1980s Afghanistan. This all goes to the Iranian understanding (context) of American-Israeli duplicity when the Americans and Israelis were arming both sides in the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980s (Iran-Contra) so both parties might better tear themselves to pieces.
Iran has little reason to be grateful to the USA in both; practical and historical terms. From an Iranian national point of view, Iran has every reason to be more than suspicious of any regional acts of the Americans, in practical terms creating perception leading to policy where Iranian national self preservation demands a hostile demeanor towards the USA.
Will the assassination of Suleimani change any of this? In terms of Iranian policy, no, it only reinforces the preceding. In terms of brilliance applied by the Iranians towards their perceived enemies, it could go either way; removing Suleimani might open to lesser or greater minds taking up his assigned duties. In terms of practical application of violence, likely yes, the Americans just opened themselves to the assassination of their own in what should have been off-limits territories: the international airports of this world. This last is consistent with the (as old as Rome) rule of reciprocity in the international common law. This was an overt act of war.
The assassination of Qassem Alì Soleimani was a tremendous blunder that is entirely at odds with Trump’s protestations he does not want war with Iran. But the assassination is entirely consistent with the apocalyptic (Fellowship) cult behind Mike Pence and the leadership at the Pentagon.
I’m no fan of Iran’s ayatollahs but there should be a genuflection to the facts: American policies create America’s enemies and Iran is no exception, rather this act is example of the American empire’s hubris.
We begin with the straw man (or men.) Finally it has come to a time of accepting the Western political leadership is, in and of itself, a criminal class and the model of democracy a criminal model. Allowing Macron to define anti-Semitism per his preceding quote (straw man) would be to give Bibi Netanyahu and his über-right alliance cover for pursuit of the (patently illegal) Greater Israel; where as of February 2019 everyone who’d been identified as “Anti-Zionist” while opposing the Greater Israel project (but not Israel within its United Nations established borders) can now be smeared as anti-Semite. Perhaps few, if any, greater favors had been done for the criminal element in Jewish Zionism and the historical fraud of Ben Gurion, whose admitted disingenuous acceptance of Israel’s lawful borders were a means to an end: in a drive to establish Israel beyond its lawful boundaries. I thought about titling this one the ‘head-scratching no-brainer’ but ‘just another geopolitical head louse’ is more apropos when it comes to Central Intelligence Agency practicing damage control. So, our orange haired President Twit, who would appear to have the political acumen of a Sumatran orangutan inexplicably inserted into American politics, appoints a man who could easily dedicate his time to cutting his boss’ throat with the ‘Russian collusion’ fantasy. If that’s what the CIA wants, it appears that’s what we’ll get.
Ivy League chicken-hawk William Barr spent the first four years of his professional life in the employ of the CIA at the intelligence directorate and CIA’s ‘Office of Legislative Counsel’ where he was the personal acquaintance of then CIA Director George H.W. Bush. Brought into the Bush Sr administration as a legal strategist during the Iran-Contra coverup, he is responsible for the pardons of several treasonous felons, no doubt necessary to avoid any of them squealing on their boss, George Herbert Walker Bush, and his then CIA director Robert Gates, whose criminal collusion in the Iran-Contra affair is traceable to that sordid business’ immediate predecessor and inspiration; the so-called ‘October Surprise of 1980.’ This was when the Ayatollahs were Bush and Gates’ business partners in turning Jimmy Carter out of office (the ayatollahs were paid millions to keep the American embassy hostages until after the 1980 elections, preventing a Carter boost in popularity.) That’s what morphed into a blackmail relationship with the ayatollahs that eventually became Iran-Contra, a CIA-MOSSAD clandestine joint venture arming the ayatollahs to the teeth when the CIA and MOSSAD were arming both sides of the Iraq-Iran war so they might better tear themselves to pieces.
It is also noteworthy William Barr had been Deputy Attorney General and Robert Mueller’s direct supervisor when Mueller had been overseeing the USA end of the Lockerbie investigation, infamous for the fact the CIA had planted the evidence DoJ ‘expert’ (fraud) Thomas Thurman had attested to as authentic in the frame-up of Libya for that mass murder. Don’t let Lady Liberty’s wholesome look fool you, the republic’s scalp is itching, and in this context it makes perfect (criminal) sense it was William Barr, when Attorney General under Bush Sr, ordered the reassignment of 300 FBI counter-intelligence agents to other duties rather than risk the DoJ’s own intelligence service stumbling across the rank criminality of his organization’s relationship to CIA.
Going to this immediate preceding, in what amounts to a CIA-FBI cycle of ‘lice make nits and nits make lice’, most certainly William Barr will not prosecute a CIA officer doubling as narcotics cartel serial killer, Enrique Prado, a man Robert Mueller let run free to go on killing for a decade following a proverbial ‘mountain of evidence’ provided by Mueller’s own FBI (as well, state authorities), evidence which had been subsequently quashed by leadership at the top.
Then, this louse only itches the republic’s scalp more. Barr was part and parcel of Robert Mueller’s sinking of the BCCI investigation (with its multiple CIA accounts for money laundering related to narcotics and arms trafficking) where according to a former Manhattan prosecutor, John Moscow, whose efforts had been sabotaged by then DoJ criminal division lawyer Robert Mueller: “Of course, the biggest guys got away”
Who are the ‘biggest guys’ slated for escape in today’s monkey business at the Department of Justice? Other than Robert Mueller, William Barr’s fellow CIA liaised bosom buddy, it’s likely not the DoJ dummies who jumped on the Steele Dossier like shit-eating dogs, they’ll possibly be ‘put down’ (made to fall on their swords.) The CIA’s vested interest in salvaging ‘the Russians did it’ players that matter will be to deter any investigation into the false intelligence laundering service provided by ‘CrowdStrike’ (DNC mail servers never forensically examined by the FBI a.k.a. the ‘Russian hack’ story that doesn’t hold up), and engineer damage control around ‘the Steele dossier’ while pulling CIA asset Nellie Ohr’s chestnuts out of the fire (Fusion GPS), all clumsy mischief initiated by the CIA’s John Brennan-Hillary axis.
Now, if this all sounds a bit schizophrenic, it’s probably because the CIA is cellular to the point of multiple personalities; and it’s necessary to understand the agency isn’t monolithic. If Obama’s then CIA director Brennan is a Hillary aligned neoliberal puke, present director Gina Haspel is a neocon-Christian Zionist aligned vomit puddle whose torture resume reads like a lesbian Torquemada in heat; from Gitmo black site to Bangkok black site (to Diego Garcia’s ‘deep’ black site?), no doubt with an intense infatuation for Alfreda Bikowsky and water-board induced confession of (actually non-existent) black al-Qaida cells in Montana where blacks are practically impossible to find. In short, other than tongues stuck out at one another when passing in the halls at Langley, Virginia, the opposed political natures of ‘the company’ employees take a second seat to covering up the agency’s dirty laundry. When asked about the Special Counsel investigation headed up by his “best friend” Robert Mueller, Barr said “I don’t believe Mr. Mueller would be involved in a witch hunt,” and that “On my watch, Bob will be allowed to finish his work.”
Barr: “I don’t believe Mr. Mueller would be involved in a witch hunt.”
Barr also said that the Trump administration would not be allowed to “correct” the Mueller report before a public release, stating “That will not happen.”
Barr: “I believe the Russians interfered or attempted to interfere with the election, and I think we have to get to the bottom of it.”
Last week Sen. Lindsey Graham (SC) met with Barr, and said that the AG nominee has a “high opinion” of Mueller, and that Barr told him that he and Mueller worked together when Barr was Bush’s attorney general between 1991 and 1993 when Mueller oversaw the DOJ’s criminal division. Graham added that the two men were “best friends” who have known each other for 20 years, and that their wives have attended Bible study together.
Mueller also attended the weddings of two of Barr’s daughters.
Graham listed a series of questions he put to Barr: “I asked Mr. Barr directly, ‘Do you think Mr. Mueller is on a witch hunt?’ He said no. ‘Do you think he would be fair to the president and the country as a whole?’ He said yes. ‘And do you see any reason for Mr. Mueller’s investigation to be stopped?’ He said no. ‘Do you see any reason for a termination based on cause?’ He said no. ‘Are you committed to making sure Mr. Mueller can finish his job?’ Yes.”
When William Barr had penned a memo stating Robert Mueller had overstepped his authority as Special Counsel in ‘the Russians did it’ false-flag intelligence agency propaganda ruse, Trump took the bait and appointed Barr for the position of Attorney General. But clearly, the ‘witch-hunt’ isn’t going to end. Now, the outstanding questions revolve around how this plays out. Barr will bring the investigation back into a Russophobia focus and away from straying into Trump’s mafia business ties no doubt attested to by Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen, who would know where the skeletons are.
This points to possibility there will be a ‘deal made’ where the investigation drops Trump’s corrupt business past and Trump agrees to pardon parties on both sides of the caper (read Brennan); to secure the vote he needs to avoid conviction in the Senate, because from this vantage point it would appear impeachment is going forward. Then, Senator Graham’s Evangelical clique stabs the orange-haired orangutongue in the back and elevates the ‘Never Trump’ Republican guard clique’s choice to be President, that is Mike Pence. Trump has the dirt he needs to avoid resigning but he doesn’t know how to use it when up against an intelligence agency ‘playing for keeps.’ By this time it would be too late, because he’s no longer president from moment of conviction by the Senate and it is a game of ‘he-said-she-said’ with Trump no longer possessed of the authority to declassify the incriminating documents that should send Mueller and team to jail.
For those who are bilingually challenged, Pig Latin’s ‘ufusday ersonpay’ translates ‘dufus person’, a circumstantial but apropos sobriquet for Trump, who is playing out of his league. Yeah, they actually do come dumber than the ‘folk’ at Langley, where crass intrigue to incompetent implosion is the clandestine operational outcome as often as not.

When it comes to something the Russians actually have done, there is a peculiar area of Russian propaganda I find particularly offensive; that is flipping of CIA and MOSSAD information operations back onto themselves.
Relevant to this, Dmitry Orlov, smug and full of himself, which causes him to miss critical avenues & information, but apart from that very smart, pens a piece well worth reading about intelligence agencies false narratives contributing to social decay (I would merely add this ancient phenomenon only became an existential threat in the modern age … we could replace BC with BG (Before Gutenberg.) In any case Dmitry mentions…

Now, for simple argument’s sake, let’s suppose it wasn’t the British or the Russians (because it is simply unnecessary to jump to these opposing conclusions and shut other lines of inquiry down) but a third party had poisoned the Skripals. On top that, we’ll toss into the soup the leaked (in Britain) proposed fact Sergei Skripal was the intermediary to the source of the so-called ‘Steele Dossier.’ Then, we can throw into this mix the strong circumstantial evidence the Skripals were meeting clandestinely with parties unknown the day they were poisoned:

It follows, if the British clandestine services wanted the Skripals dead, they’d not have survived subsequent hospitalization, it’s that simple. This thought is reinforced by the fact Sergei and Julia Skripal have been held nearly incommunicado in British state custody for reasons (plural) that are unknown (to the wider public) to now. Other than the Skripals were kept alive for the obvious, the British secret services wanted to know what actually had been going on, on 4 March, a related reason they are held incommunicado is a reason that can easily be surmised with a reasonable degree of confidence; the Skripal poisoning doesn’t match ‘the Russians did it’ propaganda.
Were the Skripals meeting with Christopher Steele or, alternatively, someone Steele arranged Sergei Skripal to meet with? (a cut-out.) Or someone else about something else altogether? Those are all avenues worth exploring but a problem unnecessary to solve for purpose of today’s essay direction. It is enough to point out by this time ‘the dossier’ was seriously in danger of falling apart but too late in the game to correct course for Steele, the FBI and the corrupt Department of Justice investigation into Trump on the USA end, the dossier had been swallowed, as can be said, ‘hook, line and sinker.’ Even if the ‘dossier’ line were to be abandoned, by this time it is clear, someone else will eventually have landed and dissected that fish. A matter of crossed and entangled lines, as it were. This is where things get complicated for the neoliberal enemies of Trump’s White nationalist base and ‘Never Trump’ Republicans alike.
When the neoliberal and then Obama CIA Director John Brennan initiated this particular false-flag aspect (Fusion GPS) of ‘the Russians did it’ (‘did it’ being every evil plot one can conjure from the Western intelligence agencies overactive imaginations) information operations, the neoliberals and ‘Never Trump’ Republicans had been aligned in their determination Hillary would become POTUS. With Hillary elected, the ‘Steele Dossier’ would be buried and forgotten, reduced to little more than an unexplored conspiratorial footnote in some progressive historian’s academic paper. But it didn’t work out like that, via the ‘electoral college’ constitutional loophole, Trump had been elected against every expectation. With Trump having become POTUS, the dossier could not be given a graceful early retirement, and it was loyal foot-soldiers for the ‘Never Trump’ Republicans at DoJ were forced into alliance with the neoliberal anti-Trump partisans but with a caveat; there was NOTHING substantive whatsoever in ‘the Russians did it’ portfolio at Department of Justice, including the so-called ‘Steele Dossier’ but they would have to take it forward nevertheless. Hence enters the picture the Department of Justice’ longtime CIA asset and ‘Never Trump’ Republican favorite Robert Mueller.
Mueller’s résumé? As a DoJ attorney, Mueller oversaw the USA end of the CIA’s frame-up of Libya for the Pan Am Flight 103 bombing at Lockerbie, including providing a (FBI employed) fraudulent expert witness, Thomas Thurman. It was Mueller practiced damage control for the CIA by sandbagging and minimalizing the investigation into the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) where Iran-Contra international arms and narcotics trafficking had been laundered. He covered up for whatever it is had actually gone down on 9/11. Then, Mueller faithfully stood up and swore Saddam possessed weapons of mass destruction. Mueller was key (sat on his hands) when the murders of two DoJ attorneys (likely by moonlighting CIA operatives), Shannon Ross and Thelma Colbert, had followed a multi-billion medicare fraud trail tied to Alberto Gonzales and Jeb Bush (the quashed Novation case.) Finally, Mueller shielded a high ranking CIA operative doubling as a serial contract killer, Enrique Prado, from prosecution (protection that had continued under James Comey and now Prado appears to be protected by Christopher Wray.) And that’s only what we know because it has made it into the public domain (where it isn’t touched by mainstream media.) Meanwhile, Trump had appointed Mike Pence’s fellow Doug Coe cult member Jeff Sessions to post of Attorney General, where he has to (for quite some time) have known there is no case for Russian collusion against Trump but Sessions has sat on his hands and allowed ‘the Russians did it’ collusion lynching to go on and this is where Trump’s long time habit of criminal associations has caught up with him: Mueller has flipped Trump’s former personal attorney, Michael Cohen* and will use him to spring a trap that had been engineered by Hillary aligned intelligence pros during the 2016 election cycle, first the ‘Never Trump’ line from CNN:

“The media have spun a tale of Trump selling his soul to the Russians for campaign dirt to use against Hillary, beginning with the now-infamous Trump Tower meeting.
“But “a growing body of evidence … indicates that the meeting may have been a setup — part of a broad effort to tarnish the Trump campaign involving Hillary Clinton operatives employed by Kremlin-linked figures and Department of Justice officials,” wrote Smith”
This immediate preceding is likely close to true but I would suspect strongly the ‘Kremlin linked figures’ were set up by Brennan’s CIA as bait and had no idea of the actual purpose of the meeting. And there you have it, DoJ foot soldiers loyal to ‘Never Trump’ Republicans in a race against the Steele Dossier falling apart, keep the farce going long enough to dust off a John Brennan era neoliberal CIA sting operation and bring ‘trumped up’ Russia collusion allegations against a sitting president who is clearly out of his league, in a plot to capture the White House for Mike Pence and his generals.
Other than a suckered Trump sanctioning the Russians over the Skripal poisoning, a real cynical howler, the joke in all of this is the sheer number of judas personalities Trump has appointed at the recommendation of the judas personalities surrounding him… Jeff Sessions and Rod Rosenstein being right at the top or, a case of ‘et tu Brute’ compounded, as it were –

From Saint Augustine’s ‘Just War’ theology taught to nuclear launch officers, to Bible verses engraved on military issue sniper scopes, to persistent, repeated, mandatory sermons and prayer attendance, the United States Department of Defense has both; established a religion, that is fundamentalist Christianity, and made a religious test of compliance throughout command structures. 57,000 complaints to the NGO Military Religious Freedom Foundation, over 90% from non-fundamentalist Christian members of the military, have established there IS a fundamentalist Christian religious requirement in the USA military.
Relevant to the preceding, there are two mentions of religion in the USA’s constitution:
Article Six, Section 3 states “no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States”
And the 1st Amendment’s ‘no establishment’ clause enumerates “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”
Now, to the flatly treasonous statement of Air Force Brigadier General John Teichert, recently in charge of the USA air wing that keeps Air Force One, that is the President’s plane:
“God has entrusted us to subdue our own kingdom – 21st century America”
Now, just who do you suppose the “us” is, other than our senior military leadership embracing a decidedly fascist flavor of rank fundamentalist Christian nationalism? How can I flatly state this is the case? Let’s break down the numbers in a most unscientific way, that is by applying plain old common sense to circumstance of collective treason that is (to now) one of America’s best kept military secrets.
To begin, I’ll draw an analogy; it is estimated 70% of sexual assaults go unreported in the American military for fear of reprisal. If we apply the same percentage (not an unreasonable proposal) to those soldiers fearing reprisal for complaining a “weaponized gospel of Jesus Christ” being shoved down their throats by what amounts to a Christian Taliban organization’s command hierarchy, the Military Religious Freedom Foundation’s client base could easily be 150,000+ rather than merely approaching 60,000 but perhaps it is actually worse than that for the following reasons:
“We touched down at Ft Campbell on our redeployment from an extended tour in Iraq. It was dark, cold, and rainy when we walked down the jet’s stairs to shake hands with a 1- or 2- star general. We then dropped our gear, and got into a mandatory formation to head into the hangar where all the families were. Still in formation, we were “treated” to a completely mandatory Christian sermon by the Division Chaplain. I was pretty upset about it, but was stuck in formation and couldn’t go anywhere” -US Army officer’s identity withheld.
Ok, so the preceding is example of where the soldiers are prisoners in command formations where they cannot escape religious indoctrination. This is circumstance indicating there are large areas of the USA military where 100% of soldiers are subjugated to what amounts to Christian madrasa training, whether they want it or not. It follows, nowhere in the USA military is control more complete and total than the service academies at Annapolis, West Point and Colorado Springs. The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (via personal communication with Director Michael Weinstein) numbers:
Nearly 100 clients at the Naval Academy at Annapolis
Over 200 clients at the US Army’s West Point.
Over 400 clients at the Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, where there has also been an established rape culture [1] [2] [3] [4] for decades. Sounds like the Taliban to me. Or something akin to ISIS and sex slavery.
700+ future officers of the USA’s armed forces are presently on record as complaining of an intolerable environment of religious persecution because they place the American constitution ahead of their personal conviction in matters of religion and reject a neo-fascist command structure’s demand of subservience to a weaponized gospel of Jesus Christ. And that is certainly a minority considering how many dare not speak out for fear of discovery and retaliation.
It is also established about 30%, or roughly 384,000 (30% of the 2017 overall force estimate) of USA military active personnel are known to be “Christian Dominionist” (practically indicating God’s law usurps Constitutional law), a belief based in historical revisionism the USA had been founded as a theocratic republic, a belief embraced by the noted General Teichert. There is also reason to believe the higher one looks into the command structure, the more concentrated this infection becomes.
Since the establishment of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation and the beginning documentation of the widespread nature of the problem, to the present time of 57,000 soldiers complaining of an intolerable, Taliban-like religious environment in America’s military, through the tenures of 4 Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairmen or the USA military’s most senior officer in the chain of command, Peter Pace, Michael Mullen, Martin Dempsey, and the current JCS Chairman Joseph Dunford, no significant action has been taken to check the growth and spread of Christian Dominionism (an anti-constitutional order) in the USA’s military ranks. Why? On its’ face, there would seem two obvious possibilities:
1) If the USA’s military were to be factually purged of this treason, not only would the enlisted ranks be necessarily, radically reduced, the officer corps would be gutted. American ’empire’ could not be sustained in its present configuration of nearly 800 military bases abroad.
2) At the apex of the American military command structure, Dominionism has established a firm grip. In this second, highly plausible scenario, not only would there be no will to tackle the problem, rather there would be entrenched interest in consolidating Dominionism’s control.
It is also possible the facts of the matter lie somewhere between, which is hardly comforting. Having said that, my personal opinion is the second scenario is the likely scenario and it comes down to a single ‘tweet’ provides the smoking gun:
Mike Pence is a known Dominionist of the worst possible stripe. With evidence to follow, I will simply note any “friend” of Mike Pence would have to be of Dominionist persuasion for the simple fact of that movement’s exclusivity; either you’re in or you’re out, there is no middle ground. Now, let’s lay out the facts:
Who was Doug Coe? (d. Feb 2017) The longtime spiritual guru of MIKE PENCE. What was Doug Coe all about? In his own words:

Also attending the meeting with Trump was Boozman, Vice President-elect Mike Pence, and several of Trump’s faith advisers”

Yep. Pence’s longtime ‘spiritual’ guru stated you need make a commitment to following the principles & emulating the behaviors of, History’s biggest mass murderers, to move their ‘Christian’ agenda forward. If you keep listening, it doesn’t get any better.
Who are the ‘Navigators’ Pence’s long time spiritual guru had been addressing? An elite right-wing international Christian proselytizing organization with a 100 million dollar (+) annual budget. Why recent moves promoting Mike Pompeo to head up Department of State, and Gina Haspel taking over at CIA, point to the generals consolidating power for a man in the shadow of Donald Trump, Mike Pence. These promotions are element of contest between vying factions where the generals are winning. We begin with the promotion of torturer Haspel at CIA, to arrive at understanding of where this is presently pointed in a convoluted series of contested maneuvers from behind the curtain. First, some information warfare background.
A good analogy for a ‘limited hangout’ is a tax cheat. Information is the wealth one hides, in the ‘limited hangout context’ of declaring ‘yeah, I have wealth’ for the fact there is no denying the obvious but a great deal of this wealth is deliberately kept concealed. The main difference between the Central Intelligence Agency and the tax cheat is, if you’re Gina Haspel hiding a wealth of incriminating information, you’ll enjoy ‘sovereign immunity’ from disclosure of that wealth of criminality in the so-called ‘justice’ system; whereas if you’re Paul Manafort who’d laundered income to conceal it and then been dumb enough to invite scrutiny by becoming a high profile personality associated with Trump, there is no legal mechanism to save your butt short of a presidential pardon, meanwhile yourself & concealed wealth can be ‘hung out to dry.’
Building on the tax cheat analogy per the American neoliberal democracy, little different to the income of the individual or corporation must be declared to the Income Revenue Service, the acts of our institutions must be declared to the citizen via congressional oversight; but we should know our ‘public servants’ have a history of cheating.
Example given, when it was Dick Cheney concealing his Central Intelligence Agency run murder program (hit squads) with instruction to CIA not to inform Congress, and Obama’s “Look forward, not back” excusing Cheney’s extra-judicial murder program and much more (when considering the related renditions program), from investigative scrutiny and prosecution. Cheney and Obama are major corporate ‘tax cheats’ in a quid pro quo relationship; we know multiple millions (billions?) were expended pursuing grossly criminal acts by the intelligence agencies but the taxpayer footing the bill is kept in the dark except in the case of a ‘limited hangout’ divulging ‘just enough’ information to satisfy some Orwellian ‘new speak’ sense of ‘accountability’ (but certainly not justice.) Such a ‘limited hangout’ is the Feinstein ‘torture report.’
What the Feinstein Report Doesn’t Tell Us
The 1st thing is, how many actual renditions took place. Recalling certain ‘allied’ intelligence agencies are looking after #1, there is a ‘Sword of Damocles’ hanging over the CIA renditions report in the form of MOSSAD ‘assets’ Reprieve (a British ‘human rights’ NGO) and The Guardian. We’ll come back to this aspect, but first:
To now, Reprieve (in a project endorsed by The Guardian) has identified 11,000 flights by known CIA renditions aircraft. How many of those flights were to ‘outsourced’ torture? (sites other than CIA run ‘black sites’.) Related to this, Obama’s CIA Director John Brennan had been up to his armpits in the Bush torture program:

But also let’s say an individual goes to Egypt because they’re an Egyptian citizen and the Egyptians then have a longer history in terms of dealing with them, and they have family members and others that they can bring in, in fact, to be part of the whole interrogation process”
Do you suppose Brennan’s cynically referring to this statement in a Human Rights Watch report?

How absolutely unwise of Brennan to use the Egypt example in the cause of renditions to outsourced torture he supported, because his CIA proxy interrogator (torture darling) in Egypt at the time was Omar Sulieman:

He was then rendered (with an Australian diplomats watching) by CIA operatives to Egypt, a not uncommon practice. In Egypt, Habib merited Suleiman’s personal attention. As related by Richard Neville, based on Habib’s memoir:
Habib was interrogated by the country’s Intelligence Director, General Omar Suleiman…. Suleiman took a personal interest in anyone suspected of links with Al Qaeda. As Habib had visited Afghanistan shortly before 9/11, he was under suspicion. Habib was repeatedly zapped with high-voltage electricity, immersed in water up to his nostrils, beaten, his fingers were broken and he was hung from metal hooks.
“That treatment wasn’t enough for Suleiman, so:
To loosen Habib’s tongue, Suleiman ordered a guard to murder a gruesomely shackled Turkistan prisoner in front of Habib – and he did, with a vicious karate kick.
“After Suleiman’s men extracted Habib’s confession, he was transferred back to US custody, where he eventually was imprisoned at Guantanamo. His “confession” was then used as evidence in his Guantanamo trial”
Moving forward, how many of the 11,000 flights by known CIA renditions aircraft were made to simply ‘disappear’ people? A British case opened a glimpse into this aspect; the investigation in Britain of the CIA’s rendition of Binyam Mohamed (who was outsourced to torture where his testicles had been brutalized) turned up a MI6 manual instruction to British intelligence officers not to become involved with any CIA rendition where the objective was to kill the target. In the MI6 manual chapter produced for the British court, it is clear the manual instruction’s overall context is intended to keep the British officers clean of and British jurisdiction clear of (and by extension, Her Majesty’s government) certain specified crimes in relation to CIA actions in violation of international law:
“Is it clear that detention, rather than killing, is the objective of the operation?”
It would appear the British are not squeamish about cooperating with CIA in relation to deliveries to torture, rather they are of the ‘if we didn’t see it, it didn’t happen’ philosophy. Where it appears they had drawn a line is in relation to ‘disappearing’ people to die. This inference can be drawn following the preceding MI6 manual language, because everything else in the chapter produced from the MI6 manual for the court is about what the officers would be required to report under British obligations to humanitarian law, if observed; all known CIA renditions practices such as hooding, beating and ‘torture’ (read water-boarding) in relation to any agencies MI6 works in ‘liaison’ with (read CIA.)
With the MI6 manual providing the first hard documentary evidence from allied intelligence there is a concern over renditions to ‘disappear’ people, specifying killing in context of working with the Americans, it follows the Americans involved with renditions should be given a strict scrutiny in regards not only to torture, this is already well documented, but renditions as interim step to targeted killings or ‘disappearing’ kidnapped people. This brings up ‘the ships‘ …
“U.S. PRISON SHIPS: On June 2, 2008 UK’s Guardian reported, “The US has admitted that the Bataan and Peleliu were used as prison ships between December 2001 and January 2002”. According to Reprieve, the U.S. may have used 17 ships as “floating prisons” since 2001. Detainees are interrogated on ships and may be rendered to other, undisclosed locations. Reprieve expressed concern over the time the U.S.S. Ashland spent off Somalia in early 2007. According to The Guardian, “At this time many people were abducted by Somali, Kenyan and Ethiopian forces in a systematic operation involving regular interrogations by individuals believed to be members of the FBI and CIA. Ultimately more than 100 individuals were ‘disappeared’ to prisons in locations including Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Guantanamo Bay. Reprieve believes prisoners may have also been held for interrogation on the USS Ashland and other ships in the Gulf of Aden during this time.”
…leading to the ‘ghost’ prisons & prisoners and Diego Garcia:
“The [ghost] prison’s existence was also confirmed by Dick Marty, a Swiss senator who produced a detailed report on “extraordinary rendition” for the Council of Europe in June 2007 (PDF) and by Manfred Novak, the UN’s Special Rapporteur on Torture, in March this year. Having spoken to senior CIA officers during his research, Marty told the European Parliament, “We have received concurring confirmations that United States agencies have used Diego Garcia, which is the international legal responsibility of the UK, in the ‘processing’ of high-value detainees,” and Manfred Novak explained to the Observer that “he had received credible evidence from well-placed sources familiar with the situation on the island that detainees were held on Diego Garcia between 2002 and 2003.” The penultimate piece of the jigsaw puzzle came in May [2008], when El Pais broke the story that “ghost prisoner” Mustafa Setmariam Nasar, whose current whereabouts are unknown, was imprisoned on the island in 2005, shortly after his capture in Pakistan — although the English-speaking press failed to notice
“Despite these previous disclosures, yesterday’s [2008] article, by Adam Zagorin, is particularly striking because of the high-level nature of the source, and his admission that “the CIA officer surprised attendees by volunteering the information, apparently to demonstrate that the agency was doing its best to obtain valuable intelligence.” In addition, the source noted that “the U.S. may also have kept prisoners on ships within Diego Garcia’s territorial waters, a contention the U.S. has long denied”
Considering the ages old folk proverb ‘leopards don’t shed their spots’, taken together with the history of CIA propping up regimes infamous for ‘disappearing’ people (juntas of Argentina, Brazil & Chile, examples given), the preceding material indicates a tremendous potential for blackmail. Into this potential ‘blackmail soup’ we can add The Guardian NEVER does friendly business with, or promotes, any entity at odds with Israel; bringing up the 11,000 known renditions aircraft flights and Reprieve practically having its hand fondly held by the Guardian when it comes to reporting on CIA renditions. What it would seem we have here is Reprieve’s a ‘limited hangout with potential’ or, that is to say if it favored Israel, it’s possible MOSSAD could arrange to feed Reprieve a ‘leak’ of renditions related documents tomorrow, naming numerous ‘ghost’ prisoners that were ‘disappeared’ and can never be accounted for, and The Guardian would publish the material in a heartbeat. Example would be the removal of David Petraeus (Paula Broadwell is the cover story) as head of CIA via a Guardian/BBC collaboration, to now absent in USA media:
“A 15-month investigation by the Guardian and BBC Arabic reveals how retired US colonel James Steele, a veteran of American proxy wars in El Salvador and Nicaragua, played a key role in training and overseeing US-funded special police commandos who ran a network of torture centres in Iraq. Another special forces veteran, Colonel James Coffman, worked with Steele and reported directly to General David Petraeus, who had been sent into Iraq to organise the Iraqi security services”
Why did Petraeus have to go? For the simple reason of religious conviction:

Dominionists promote religious supremacy, insofar as they generally do not respect the equality of other religions, or even other versions of Christianity.
Dominionists endorse theocratic visions, insofar as they believe that the Ten Commandments, or “biblical law,” should be the foundation of American law, and that the U.S. Constitution should be seen as a vehicle for implementing Biblical principles.

A sample of known dominionists surrounding Trump in the so-called ‘national security’ apparatus would include ‘the generals’ McMaster, Kelly and Mattis, all aligned with known dominionist Mike Pence, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, and now Mike Pompeo at Department of State:

Insofar as the CIA Pompeo will continue to heavily influence as head of its Siamese twin Department of State, and the intelligence community generally:

Complicating any attempt at injecting rationality into this scene of necrotic fundamentalism that has been aptly named the American “Christian Taliban” by the Military Religious Freedom Foundation is, superstitious Slovenian villager Melania Trump repeatedly importing scores of priests and pastors to the White House for purpose of exorcism and laying hands on ‘the donald.’
Now, to the recent ‘you’re fired’ to Tillerson, resulting in the promotions of Pompeo and Haspel.
“Bloody Gina” appointed to head up the CIA isn’t just a message of ‘anything goes’ but is much more than this, it’s a deliberate side-show setting up media distraction; it is a form of information warfare. This is because, whether Gina Haspel is confirmed to run the CIA or not, nothing changes at CIA leadership where Haspel has been the hands on grunt, as deputy director, for over a year. And it is over this past year the CIA policies described earlier in this article, will have been put in place again, never mind anything Haspel has to say in her confirmation hearing; the woman is a practitioner of narcissistic cruelty, a foot-soldier-sadist in the tradition of dominionist Dick Cheney. It is this last, immediate preceding, or Cheney legacy, should concern us above all.
Prior to the unexpected/unforeseen election of Donald Trump, the Israeli alliance with the American religious right had been a Faustian balancing act; Netanyahu and his ilk politically exploited the Christian right and its belief in a ‘Greater Israel’ but this alliance with a community that holds that ‘Greater Israel’, once established, will necessarily be destroyed, had always been tempered by neoliberals in positions of power, whether the likes of Chuck Schumer, Barack Obama, John Brennan or a whole host of other people supporting the arch-criminal Hillary Clinton, notably Soros. During the time of Bush/Cheney it could be argued Jewish neocons, as viciously aggressive as they are, helped the neoliberals keep the total insanity of these Christian Zionists in check. Corporate neocolonizing (Manifest Destiny 2.0 is where neocons, dominionists and neoliberals are indistinguishable) of the world is one thing, provoking World War Three is another thing altogether. Nearly all of this ‘restraint’ is now tossed out the window, never previously has the White House seen such a near absolute consolidation of power in the hands of theologically driven advocates of total world war.
Previous means of MOSSAD and Shin Bet checking the power of extremists in the ‘Greater Israel’ cause (when politicians weren’t listening), whether Shin Bet presently seeing off the messianic ultra-orthodox allied Bibi with corruption charges, or MOSSAD with news waiting in the wings of American press for the fact of David Petraeus had been directly responsible for torture camps and death squads in Iraq, or possibly Reprieve suddenly inheriting a largesse of information concerning the Cheney era abuses, up to and including numerous cases of ‘disappeared’ via renditions, to send off Gina Haspel, are likely useless in the present circumstance. There’s not enough time. Some context, per Natanyahu’s former MOSSAD chief:

To put this preceding in perspective, it was the neoliberal Obama (believe it or not, with the help of ‘dubya’ warning Netanyahu not to take advantage of Bush Jr’s ‘lame duck’ days in office, to Cheney’s deep disappointment) stopped Bibi attacking Iran via the agreement Congress has effectively since scrapped. As a wag recently put it to me concerning Trump ousting Hillary in this planet’s greatest contest between world class criminals “so, we were better off in the frying pan, after all.”
Recalling former MOSSAD chief Dagan’s stating “Diskin, Ashkenazi and I succeeded in blocking all dangerous adventures” but these type personalities having been swept aside from the top (at least) of Israel’s security apparatus, the question arises over who in the AIPAC from the Jewish side can arrest their American Christian Zionist (dominionist) partners or if it is even possible at this point; where the Israeli lobby had screwed up and we all are faced with what they are responsible for: President Trump partnered with and surrounded by, one might say in the custody of, people willing to take the existential threat beyond all previous threshold or to a deliberate all out war with Russia. Every Trump firing at the national security level, to now, has seen replacements consolidating the dominionist position and increased the threat of civilization ending event. If it is true Israel could not exercise impunity without support of the Americans, it is equally true these American dominionists could never have come to power without decades support of Israel via AIPAC.
That it had been neoliberals who’d attempted to derail the election of Trump with their ‘Steele Dossier’ caper and ‘the Russians did it DNC hack’ information warfare against the American people, have seen their game co-opted, and are now trapped and can’t back out, would be funny if it weren’t for the larger implication. If Shiva is ‘god’, perhaps there is some meaning in all of this, beyond a sense of humor at a cosmic level.
A Criminal Magic Act
Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President –Section Four, 25th Amendment to the USA Constitution
The months long rumor Pompeo would replace Tillerson at Department of State proved correct. More recently, rumor has it Trump is taking aim at the generals, beginning with National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster and intending to fire White House Chief of Staff General John Kelly as well. Meanwhile, General James Mattis, at Department of Defense, has been allowing the Pentagon to provoke Russia in both word and deed.
Donald Trump, who has already been, against his better instinct, coerced and/or manipulated into hostile relationship with Russia, may be the only thing standing between America’s dominionists and World War Three. Will he cave in altogether to the dominionists? No one knows. Will the generals engineer a war with Russia and hand it to Trump as a fait accompli? Certainly it’s possible. Will Mike Pence wait to hear his generals told ‘You’re fired!’ and see them go away? Don’t bet on it.
This is not the America that went quiet and mourned when JFK was assassinated by a cabal of businessmen aligned with Allen Dulles. Mike Pence, who has openly stated Dick Cheney is his role model, is no Lyndon Johnson. By comparison, the evil of Pence is compounded to a power of ten. What’s going on isn’t rocket science but it is a trap.

Throughout the short history of ronaldthomaswest.com, there has been a concern on my part that I would not be judged kindly. Allow me to explain. It was never my intent to take the road in life this website reflects. It covers subject matter I’d never any predisposition to delve into, a world of grotesque lies and contorted pseudo realities so profane, one should as a matter of fact presume to have a dirtied soul as matter of consequence. However I would suppose, but not with superior confidence, there might be someone or two great personalities could penetrate the manifold layers of deceit and never be dirtied, that is not me. I don’t enjoy the dirt and yet discover a visceral laugh, time to time, in myself that seems evil, reveling in injuring evil. I should suppose there is a special place in Hell for persons who become addicted to the geopolitical contest to point of living this aspect for entertainment sake. Gratefully, I can also say this is not me. Even at my most profane, what I attempt to do, and hopefully I am not deceiving myself, is reflect what I see, and what the reader should see is a reflection which does not necessarily implicate myself, but is a filtered refraction that works to remove the mirage and gain better insights to the nature and structures of the evil we are confronted with.
But even when working to make people laugh with my satire, a means to break the grip of, and dis-empower that evil over our lives, one should never lose sight of the fact there is an ugliness taken over our world that is unprecedented in history; with the power to cross nearly every frontier unchecked. Wicked gossip, for all of the problems it had created throughout human history, were never so profane and evil as the intelligence operations seen in today’s world, especially the information operations in our western world or, one could say empire mass media of the digital age.
Not being of the western civilization, culturally speaking, one might suppose I could sit back and enjoy watching Christendom tearing itself apart like a pack of dogs turned on itself. But when was it ever different to this? Europe has been attacking itself throughout modern history, and even before that. Western civilization, to the times preceding Homer, are a story of the sword. Now, in the era of nuclear weapons, this historical, and one could consequently argue, innate aggression, signals a collective suicide is inevitable. How is it this culture can, in the meanwhile, view itself as humanitarian and altruistic, is beyond the pale of sane reason, it is a peculiar insanity in and of itself.
But it is the culture, especially today’s Christian culture sprung from Europe, it is not some biological factor, that threatens to end us all in the present moment. Other cultures, particularly those the Christian culture had extirpated, were never pointed to the threat we see today.
In the ‘half-civilized’ European based culture called American, where the jails and asylums of Europe had been emptied, and religious fanatics banished to, all stirred into a hybrid vigor, now a superstitious Slovenian villager, Melania Trump, has scores of pastors and priests trouping through the White House, exorcising the premises and pouring oil on and hopefully blessing ‘the donald’ as that moron flails hopelessly in the custody of generals whose real loyalties are difficult to pin down; in a mishmash comprised of corporate board future promise related to wealth, present self-important strut-mincing for geopolitical posturing sake, and not least, rabid fundamentalism so extreme as to be labeled Christian Taliban, a point of ‘faith’ they share with commander-in-chief-in-waiting Mike Pence, an American Himmler if ever there were such a creature determined to be unleashed upon us by the fates.
This preceding is nuclear armed cocktail creating its own ‘raison d’ être.’
Relevant to this, for over a year this blog has made the case there was never a ‘Russian DNC hack’ that was actually an insider leak by the assassinated Seth Rich, and now a former admiral has published at the Washington Times what amounts to identical argument made here; the entire ‘Russians did it’ business is being sustained with corrupt process by criminals at the FBI and above. Interestingly, the admiral suggests Mike Pence’s fraternal brother, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, is not up to the job when he concludes:
“The Trump administration must take charge and get a competent attorney general to pursue these crimes”
He’s right. But what he may not realize is, the traitors surrounding Trump include (but are not limited to) John Kelly, ‘Mad Dog’ Mattis, H.R. McMaster, that is the generals, not only Mike Pence and Jeff Sessions, Jeff Sessions being the Attorney General who has NOT called out ‘the Russians did it’ caper for what it is, a CIA initiated information operation spurring appointment of Special Counsel to take down Trump.
None of these preceding are standing in the way of Trump being taken down by corrupt process, lies as it were, it was John Kelley denied Trump opportunity to meet with Dana Rohrabacher and break the facts of the DNC leak into the open. Why would a recently retired Marine Corps general, who happens to be White House Chief of Staff, sabotage reporting of fact to the President of the United States, facts that should defuse tensions with Russia by removing false accusations, but instead shields criminal culpability engineering aggression? They’re playing for time, to give Robert Mueller opportunity to bring charges altogether unrelated to the purported Russia caper, a failed CIA endeavor, instead holding out for indicting Trump on his historic mafia ties, going back to the days of Roy Cohn. The dirt is there. But Trump is a petty criminal by comparison to Department of Justice players in the game at this point merely to save their own asses. The game has been flipped on the unwitting CIA assets at DoJ who are in turn being gamed by the generals.
Mike Pence is the generals’ deep state player of choice and Pentagon insurance policy from the time of Trump’s nomination and choice of running mate. In the internecine war between the neoliberal deep state players embedded at CIA versus the Pentagon, vying for the upper hand at the White House, it is the generals who’re winning (to now.)
Vladimir ‘The Innocent’ (in this circumstance) had recently laid out a very reasonable case for how the USA has, over two decades, positioned itself to militarily confront Russia, broken their promise not to move NATO east, aborted the ABM treaty, used subterfuge, refused cooperation, and more, all pointed to underhandedly seeking dominance over Russia’s area of strategic interests. The result had finally been Russia unmasking new strategic weapons the USA is ill prepared to counter. Having announced the new systems, President Putin stated:
“No, nobody really wanted to talk to us about the core of the problem, and nobody wanted to listen to us. So, listen to us now!”
I fear Mr Putin has over-estimated the rationality of these ‘nobodies.’ It may well be they’re incapable of listening. They have weapons mass of destruction and they’ll lie to themselves concerning any mismatch of capabilities and ultimately decide they have developed sufficient strategy to ‘test’ those weapons in some circumstance other than a game. In other words, the American generals are legitimately insane. If you don’t think so, likely you’re suffering a form of denial that is insanity too.
By definition, people who lie to themselves as a matter of habit, should be considered mentally unbalanced. It follows, when your institutions and leadership pervasively lie to the public (because they are organically incapable of being honest with themselves) and actually believe this lying is a ‘good thing’, after all, these people do go to church, you have a ‘larger than life’ problem, Jesus saying ‘everything that is concealed will be revealed’ notwithstanding.
Meanwhile, our media having run with these lies, despite ample evidence there’s not an honest man in the lot of these cowards who would rule us, points to outcome beyond the comprehension of a public incapable of absorbing facts they have little access to. When this charade falls apart, as it must, it may be well too late for any resolution within the bounds of reason. By then, the criminal element will have upped the ante to outright actionable insanity, because leopards don’t shed their spots and criminals don’t voluntarily surrender their business models. They’ll take whatever action they think necessary to avoid going to jail and if that means a serious enough war justifying suspending civil liberties and declaring martial law at home, that is precisely the direction things will take, short of some courageous statesman, at the state level, leveling with the people, and getting media to go along. What are the chances of this civil salvation? Slim to none and growing more remote everyday.
Why is Trump fulfilling the wishes of religious extremists he more typically mocks? How is it Jared Kushner convinced Trump to choose hyper-extreme Christian Mike Pence over Chris Christie for Vice President? The short fact is, Pence would be Bibi Netanyahu’s hyper-right wing coalition partners’ choice of a Christian Zionist in the American executive and that smells more of ‘foreign influence’ than any of the recent Russian controversy, when it comes to actual meddling in the USA election.
Now, with Trump’s recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, there is already a push to rebuild the Jewish temple destroyed by the Roman commander Titus 1,948 years ago.
“The next step, the most important step, must be taken by the Jews. We need to begin going up to the Temple Mount is massive numbers. Once we do that, the Temple is the next inevitable step”
There is just a few big problems with this.
The site does not belong to Israel. Temple Mount is not Israel’s, according to United Nations resolutions and international law.
The site is holy to Muslims and destruction of Dome of the Rock and al Aqsa mosque, to make way for a Jewish temple at its’ original site will expand the issue to all Muslim nations, no longer a Palestinian issue. This ‘rebuilding’ of the Temple is openly advocated together with (and on account of) Trump’s action of recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
This violation of international law had to have passed muster with the religious right generals surrounding Trump, that is White House Chief of Staff General Kelly, Secretary of Defense General Mattis and National Security Advisor Lieutenant General McMaster. These are generals in a position to, but who’ve refused, to clean up an illegal movement within the larger United States armed forces essentially establishing conservative Christianity as an official religion in violation of the USA’s constitution and other laws, as documented extensively over this immediate past twelve years by the non-profit Military Religious Freedom Foundation.
Taken together, the circumstance sets up a war of civilizations playing to extreme religious conservatives on both sides of the Christian-Muslim divide, both believing in literal Armageddon, with a Jewish apocalyptic movement at its’ center. The American generals, who believe in the literal rebuilding of the Jewish temple as a matter of their extreme Christian faith, cannot be trusted to render legal, secular service in this scenario, they’ve already suborned American law to their ultra-conservative religious beliefs.
The immediate preceding recalls Trump’s bankruptcy lawyer and pick for ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, who could be described as so ultra-right, he’s far to the right of Netanyahu:
“There has never been a “two-state solution” – only a “two-state narrative.” The former never existed because a “solution” to the Israel-Palestinian dispute would have required, as a threshold matter, that Palestinians accept Israel as a Jewish state, renounce terrorism, discontinue anti-Israel incitement in their schools and abandon their desire to flood Israel with so-called “refugees” from other countries who never spent a day of their lives in Israel” –David Friedman
Like most people, to a greater or lesser degree, Friedman sees his world through a self-serving prism. The first sentence of his short paragraph is refreshingly straightforward. The remainder of the paragraph is notable for its stunning hypocrisy. Let’s examine the first sentence, first, and then have at the rest of the story.
The ‘two-state’ narrative has always been a lie. It’s not only a case of ‘actions speak louder than words’, but the driving idea of a ‘Greater Israel’ is behind the Israeli intransigence in negotiations (or better said, avoidance of negotiations) towards a so-called ‘two-state’ solution (which under Israeli diktat would be no solution at all.) It is combined social and cultural psychology demands (or drives) the Jewish state towards a ‘Greater Israel.’ This demand is embedded in the mythology of history where ‘Samaria’ and ‘Judea’ are, at one time or another in ancient past linked, aligned with, or integrated to the historical Kingdom of Israel, having little to do with the fact of modern Israel.

This next pretty much nails it:

A state does not give the names of one’s historical mythology to an area except that state intends to assert sovereignty over the same. Prior to this, Judea had last been the name of the area under Hadrian’s rule, changed shortly after the era of Agrippa II, the last Roman approved ‘Herodian’, or ‘titular’ king of the Jews, who were NOT a sovereign people.
The so-called ‘two-state’ solution was, and always had been, a geopolitical lie. The purpose of that lie has been, and always had been, to satisfy political correctness relating to international law. The USA and it’s Christian Zionist cohorts never dared to support the annexation of the West Bank as a matter of stated policy, because to do so would be to openly support a rogue state in its transgressions (if a rogue state is to be defined as a state in persistent violation of international law.) This is the purpose the ‘two-state’ geopolitical lie has served, as a cover story that buys time towards implementing the inevitable ‘Greater Israel.’
Inevitable? The USA supported Friedman’s Israel is a nuclear armed state aggressively colonizing the West Bank (with Friedman’s staunch support.) There will be a Greater Israel or there will be mushroom clouds, or perhaps both. People who embrace myths of history are not particularly rational people and Israel is not a particularly rational state, relating to Friedman’s hypocritical finger-pointing at the Palestinians:
“For refugees, camps were shelters for the reconstruction of personal and social life, but were also seen as sites of great political significance, the material testimony of what was destroyed and ‘all that remains’ of more than four hundred cities, towns and villages forcefully cleansed throughout Palestine in the Nakba of 1947-9. This is the reason refugees sometimes refer to the destruction of camps as ‘the destruction of destruction.’ The camp is not a home, it is a temporary arrangement, and its destruction is but the last iteration in an ongoing process of destruction.

Which brings us to the rank hypocrisy going to the conclusion of Friedman’s small paragraph. If there were Jews who were enslaved or fled Roman rule, there were many, many more who stayed in what was no longer ‘Judea’ but what became Roman ruled Palaestina, renamed by the Roman Emperor Hadrian. Where are those ancient Jewish people’s descendants today? They’re in Palestine and they’re called Palestinians. The inconvenience for the modern Ashkenazi is, most of these indigenous people had, with passing time, converted to Islam.
Imagine your rural family’s city dwelling uncle Mordecai’s entire neighborhood (Jerusalem) had been convicted of treason by the Roman state and their sons and daughters were consequently enslaved and removed to Italy and surrounding area. Now, some 1,800 or more years later, Mordecai’s and his neighbors’ descendants show up and demand you give them your farm as their rightful inheritance because you are no longer Jewish. That’s what historical myths do to people.
This goes to the most crass aspect of Friedman’s hypocrisy when he had stated his conclusion to the Palestinians demand of a right to return:
“…their desire to flood Israel with so-called “refugees” from other countries who never spent a day of their lives in Israel”
So tell me, David Friedman (this is a rhetorical question), exactly what do your words describe better than Uncle Mordecai’s (put any European nationality here) neighborhood’s progeny descending on Palestine?
There is, after all, an experience shaping the Palestinian point of view.
Except now, with the USA recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and the associated, developing push to rebuild the Jewish temple on a very holy Muslim site, the ‘two state solution’ having been a lie all along, is no longer a Palestinian issue, it is become an issue for all of Islam.
The current political lynching in DC reminds one of Tom Horn‘s hanging more than a betrayed alt right’s ‘Nathan Hale’ fantastically dressed in patriotic spin. The congressional mob lynching Donald Trump is absolutely complicit in Trump’s crime of a $350 billion arms sale to the Saudis even as Trump is being lynched for daring suggest talking to the Russians concerning geopolitical cooperation. The actual rationale behind the mob hysteria can only be Trump talking to the Russians poses a problem for the Saudis daring to use those weapons in the White House generals’ upcoming war with Iran. Meanwhile, never-mind the present and ongoing Pentagon-Saudi proxy war on Iran (Yemen) violating every human rights standard up to and including using banned cluster munitions. Not only Mike Pence and the generals but likely Bibi has his fingers in this military-industrial pie/racket. Netanyahu nearly has what he wants, an apocalyptic Pentagon owned President Pence en route to a proper war with Iran and cheapening of the male prostitute Uncle Sam:

The simple math: following on the CIA overthrowing a democratically elected government in Iran (for the oil), Uncle Sam propped up the Shah of Iran for decades, an absolute asshole who spent lavishly on both; buying American arms and (with competent MOSSAD help) brutalizing his own people.
