The Self-Deceit & Defeat of Aleksandar Vucic

Serbia’s President Vucic met Trump at the White House and came away with a ‘small victory.’ Or so he seems to think. This self-annointed, clueless king needs a new vizier:
“I said ‘no’ at the toughest place in the world.
“Now I can officially say that I said what I said regarding recognizing Kosovo at the most difficult place in the world. In the room where I was sitting, there were Pence, Kushner, Johnson, Grenell, O’Brien, a hundred times more powerful people than me. This was a problem for them. I’m not interested in form and chairs” -Aleksandar Vucic [1]
Well, I think Vucic should have been interested in the visual message of the ‘chair’ he’d sent around the world when his “No” had (in actuality) multiplied into entirely too many cases of ‘Yes’ recalling this next image:

In short, Vucic was out of his league and got ‘played.’ Now he has to explain away what he had signed:
What Trump’s cabal of criminals perfectly understood when they invited Vucic to Washington was, that Vucic would absolutely be required (a small matter of domestic politics) to say “No” to the constitutionally prohibited explicit recognition of Kosovo as an independent state. [2]
After the Americans placing precisely that (recognition of Kosovo as an independent state) in the initial draft, the ‘bait and switch’ was delivered; Vucic got the ‘Point 10’ or explicit recognition of Kosovo independence removed, only to be provided a document with thinly concealed recognition of Kosovo as an independent state or (that is to say) a document with multiple cases of implicit recognition of Kosovo independence. Then, our ill-advised King Vucic was so relieved at Point 10 having been removed, he signed it. His Vizier failed him.
Now, let’s have a bit of a closer look.
Implementation of joint infrastructure agreements (highway, railroad ect) with a political entity that presently controls, and seeks the independence of Kosovo, equals implicit recognition of an independent Kosovo; the legal point here is, this act confers legitimacy on a political force in violation of the Serbian constitution but nevertheless subjects Serbia to principles of international law. Much of what follows would be subject to the same principle where one cannot do any ‘de jure’ business with an entity and subsequently claim that same entity has no legal competence (the international law’s ‘rule of reciprocity.’) [3]
Joint operation of the Merdare ‘common crossing point’ will be read (in future) as a strong indicator Serbia recognizes Merdare as an international border crossing per the principle laid out in the preceding paragraph (reciprocity) for the simple fact the administration on the Kosovo side considers itself an independent state.
Serbia and Kosovo separately joining the ‘Mini-Schengen Zone’ is outright de facto recognition of Kosovo as an independent state. In a case where Serbia did NOT recognize Kosovo’s independence, Kosovo could only enter the ‘Mini Schengen’ as a part of Serbia with Mini Schengen consisting solely of Albania, Macedonia & Serbia. Mini-Schengen is proposed as a trade association of independent states. Serbia agreeing to sign on to Mini Schengen as a peer to Kosovo is practically a recognition of independence given to Kosovo.
Accepting the US Department of Energy to draw up plans to “share” Lake Gazivoda is a strongly implicit recognition of Kosovo’s independence, because as a matter of fact a nation-state does not ‘share’ its water with a territory on peer terms except that territory were an independent state. If Serbia were sovereign over Kosovo, it would not ‘share’ but ‘assign’ water to that province.
Agreeing to refrain from any action communicating to other nations that Kosovo should not be recognized as an independent state speaks for itself.
Other points:
Diversifying energy supplies, example given, sets up possibility of taking business concessions from state controlled corporations like Gazprom and giving them to utterly uncontrolled and ruthless outlaw Western corporations like Chevron (the language is too broad & non-specific.) [4], [5]
Giving an “An international, US International Development Finance Corporation full time presence in Belgrade, Serbia” accomplishes two things, neither good for Serbia. 1) this will give the American corporate oligarchs an inside track on the privatization of what remains of Serbia’s state owned assets and 2) will give the Central Intelligence Agency a parallel track to penetrate every aspect of Serbia’s economy; pointing to the US International Development Finance Corporation is a USA government subsidiary of USAID. USAID is at the nexus of American ‘color revolution’ policies and firmly grounded in CIA history where the clandestine ‘Operations Division’ does NOT support American democratic principles (the USAID cover story) but in actuality supports acquisition and control of resources & markets by major American corporations. Demanding Serbia dismantle its 5G is the USA using Serbia to stick a thumb in the eye of China.
Enhanced airline passenger & crime information sharing with the Pristina criminals who should be in a cell at the Hague, together with the entity (USA intelligence services) that created al-Qaida, is nothing short of a bad cosmic joke. What crime groups will that information be shared with? How will it compromise Serbia’s security structures?
The next bad joke is the idea there can be sincere “interfaith dialogue” with Salafi & Wahhabi radicals, currently free to proselytize throughout Kosovo. [8]
The bad joke after that is a double: concerning locating missing bodies, do you suppose ‘Pristina’ is going to locate and repatriate bodies of Serbs disappeared and harvested for organs? Who would believe that? The other problem with ‘reconciliation’ is the idea dislocated Serbs are going to be welcomed back and their properties restored; this had already been a demand of the UN for two decades with practically nothing more accomplished than ongoing abuse of those Serbs who did not (yet) leave Kosovo. The Western model that legalizes homosexuality practically demands ‘gay evangelism’ that radicalizes conservative societies into opposition. Serbia should be careful with Richard Grenell’s pet point; it is one thing to be tolerant, it is another thing altogether to push homosexuality in a culture’s face, a habit of numerous Western societies. Serbia risks unnecessarily alienating other nations with this agreement’s paragraph made with a gun pushed against Serbia’s back. And the joke element: what fool would believe for one millisecond that Kosovo’s growing Salafi society will do anything but de facto criminalize homosexuality in actual social practice? [11]
Certainly Serbia’s nasty reputation for trafficking weapons to proxy terrorist organizations should not benefit Hezbollah (or otherwise benefit any de facto warring party in the Middle East) but there is a magnificent hypocrisy in the demand by the USA that Serbia must ban Hezbollah, when it was the USA created al-Qaida (which splintered, one faction becoming Islamic State), with the USA now dictating who is a terrorist organization. Finally, Serbia’s reward that came with Vucic agreeing to move Serbia’s embassy to Jerusalem was delivered within the hour of his signing; when Israel recognized Kosovo as an independent, sovereign nation and the humiliation was complete. [14]

The arrest of Maria Butina hardly seems a case of Mata Hari, but the quote seems apropos at first glance. But then, things get interesting and we can begin to understand why the indictment is vague and only alludes to, rather than names, certain facts. However, before we go where the Department of Justice dare not name in the indictment, it should be noted if guilt by association is the DoJ standard, then Butina should be exposed as a quadruple agent in circumstance (of fantasy) too embarrassing to the Americans to pursue in open court.
First, the official BS, excuse me, trial and conviction by Western press, including disingenuous neo-liberal foreign press which insists Butina is:
“None other than the assistant to a Russian Central Bank executive”
Well, yes, that’s one small part of the story but what is missing should change the perception completely. The Russian Central Bank is historically ‘liberal’ territory in post Soviet Russia. Putin is not the flat-out autocrat portrayed by Western media, it’s much more complex than that. What Putin must do is balance competing interests and economics is where a solid portion of the Russian liberal element is partnered with [PDF] Putin. As well, you can be a Russian liberal and belong to Putin’s ‘right-wing’ United Russia party, just have a look at Dmitri Medvedev. Meanwhile, it is Alexander Torshin is the Bank executive Butina is associated with in an April 2018 hit piece at RollingStone foretelling Butina’s arrest:
“Torshin, now 64, is a roly-poly politician, perhaps five feet six, with thick glasses and a passion for borscht – “like medicine!” he once tweeted. A member of Putin’s right-wing United Russia party, he served in the Russian senate for more than a decade, forging close ties to Russia’s internal security service, the FSB, which awarded him a medal in 2016. His embrace of Keene, says Steven Hall, who served as chief of Russian operations for the CIA until 2015, was about more than forging “an international brotherhood of the NRA””
Already the CIA Russia expert has been true to form and twists reality with insinuation the Russian [internal] Federal Security Service (FSB) awarding Torshin a medal implies Torshin is tied to external espionage.

Nowhere in the RollingStone article does the SVR (Foreign Intelligence Service) come up. Why? Particularly concerning this next where RollingStone goes on:
As part of Putin’s “active measures,” Hall says, Russia has attempted to influence right-wing and populist factions abroad, preaching unity around social conservatism: “‘We’re both religious-based countries – we have the Orthodox Church that’s a big deal for us.’ ” The Russians, Hall believes, “made a natural transition in the United States to the NRA”; over time Putin became determined to exploit the American gun lobby “and decided Mr. Torshin is going to be the guy to do it for him.”
You know, I just don’t believe Vladimir Putin is personally running espionage operations as a case handler or even operational planner. He’s probably very tied up with running the largest geographic nation on Earth. But if you read Western press, they’d have you believe Putin micro-manages all of the fantastic plots aimed at James Bond, the USA and the Western world as a whole. Let it suffice to say RollingStone goes on and over the top with name-dropping Anna Chapman in a bizarre twist that bring up the Skripal poisonings and guess what else? They cite Glenn Simpson, founder of the firm tied to the severely debunked ‘Steele Dossier.’ RollingStone reporter Michael Hastings, whose car computer became possessed and ran him into a tree at high speed where the car exploded like a super-sized limpet mine, when investigating the CIA’s John Brennan going after independent journalists, must be ‘RollingOver‘ in his grave. I think we know who is dictating to that recently become a yellow rag, RollingStone, these days.
What can we know about Maria Butina that appears nowhere in Western press? How about:
“In 2014, Maria Butina participated in the Civic Chamber’s electronic elections. Anti-corruption activist Alexey Navalny, whom many in the West know as the leader of the anti-Putin opposition, endorsed her candidacy, saying, “Butina lobbies for the civilian right to bear arms and is almost the only person leading a normal election campaign.” Butina failed to win a seat in the chamber. Sources who worked with Butina told Meduza that she has “oppositionist views” and “took part in the Bolotnaya protests,” but being a “fan of the gun idea in Russia” she was read to work “with both the opposition and the party of power””
Oops. Butina is actually politically aligned with the Western favorite liberal (but perennial Russian loser) Alexey Nalvany? This proposed fact (Nalvany’s endorsement of Butina) checks out. That certainly doesn’t square with her being an insider Kremlin tool and a spy for Putin. Have a look at the source of the preceding quote:
“Meduza is run by a team of around 20 journalists who resigned from their jobs at Lenta.ru following Galina Timchenko’s unexpected removal from her post by the website’s owner and Vladimir Putin ally, the oligarch Alexander Mamut”
Oops again, not only did opposition reporting develop this information, Sputnik took notice, reporting the same essential facts as a news outlet that is most definitely not aligned with Putin, in fact the opposition publication had taken their journalism project out of Russia (to Latvia, to keep publishing), abandoning the employ of Putin’s ostensible (according to Wikipedia) oligarch buddy. So the Russian state media and a independent opposition media outlet, both, agree Butina is ideologically aligned with the Putin opposition. I would suppose that’s why Butina felt safe in America. That, and because she’s blonde.
What else can we know about Butina other than she’s Putin opposition aligned, worked in a liberal dominated wing of the Russian state and shares a gun enthusiasm with her boss Torshin? That she’d been very competent in her (economics related) job. What other critical fact has Western press concealed? The fact Putin’s government had shut down the ‘Right to Own Arms’ organization founded by Butina. Accordingly, we have the quadruple agent Butina; works for Putin’s government, is opposed to Putin, is aligned with the USA supported Russian opposition figure Nalvany, and is a Russian agent opposed to the USA. Oh my. Common sense says at most only 1/2 of this could be true, and one could begin down that path to reality by simply pointing out a competent assistant to a governor of the USA’s Federal Reserve Bank might not like Trump and still keep her job. The parallel is not far fetched.
Now to where the cloud cover is a bit more difficult to penetrate, that is the ‘alluded to’ but unnamed organization in the DoJ’s indictment of Butina.
However RollingStone had ‘anticipated’ the Department of Justice going after Butina in a case implicating the National Rifle Association in what amounts to a new screen-write or Russia-Trump collusion sequel, and with the indictment Western press is all over that story like flies on stink, it is ‘The Young Turks’ Ken Klippenstein identifies the National Prayer Breakfast, a front organization for one of the meanest segments of the USA’s ‘shadow government’ (most influential & wealthiest military-industrial corporate board personalities), that is the Doug Coe cult, as the DoJ’s unnamed target of Butina’s proposed espionage. Klippenstein gets his story at least half wrong, beginning with giving credit to the DoJ’s assertion Butina is a Russian agent. But his story is worth examining if only for the fact he has identified the unnamed group in the indictment and therein lies greater implications as to what this entire business might actually be all about:
“The Justice Department on Monday charged Mariia[sic] Butina, a Russian national, with infiltrating U.S. groups to covertly promote Russian interests. One group Butina is alleged to have worked with is the organization—unnamed in the supporting affidavit—behind the National Prayer Breakfast”
“The Family” or “The Fellowship” is the Doug Coe (d. February 2017) cult’s self-referred name The National Prayer Breakfast fronts for. It was cult member Mike Pence had been present, and was part and parcel of bringing Donald Trump under the guidance of the cult, when introducing President-elect Trump to Coe (December, 2016), where Coe demanded Trump attend the National Prayer Breakfast. As for this next…
“We work with power where we can and build new power where we can’t”
…at first glance it could easily be misconstrued to be a quote of George Soros associated with neo-liberal sponsored ‘color revolution’ but in fact it is a Doug Coe quote. This hyper-Christian-Zionist cult devoted to power for the sake of the powerful does experience some crossover with the neo-liberal elements of the shadow government (Hillary Clinton had been a closet Coe cult member) but it would appear there is no monolith structure behind the deep state minions, rather a rivalry.
Excluding the immediate preceding quote & (my) observations, The Young Turks article asserts:
“The National Prayer Breakfast is organized by The Fellowship Foundation, a Christian group based in Washington that is famously secretive. Its members take a vow of silence about Fellowship activities.
“But federal records show the Fellowship has reported sponsoring 37 trips abroad by individual members of Congress in the last 18 years. Fourteen of those trips have been by Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Ala.), co-chair of the 2016 National Prayer Breakfast. Since 2008, Aderholt took 11 out of 17 trips sponsored by the Fellowship.
“A number of countries to which the Fellowship sent Aderholt are in politically volatile or contested regions between Russia and NATO nations.
“In 2016, the Fellowship paid for Aderholt to travel to Belgrade, Serbia; Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina; Zagreb, Croatia; Kiev, Ukraine; and Banja Luka, Bosnia-Herzegovina. That trip took place just days after President Trump secured the Republican nomination, from May 26 to June 2 of 2016.
“In 2017, Aderholt traveled to Romania, Bulgaria, and Austria.
“In one sponsor form filled out by the Fellowship, Vice President Michael Foster writes that, “Because Congressman Aderholt was a Co-Chair for the National Prayer Breakfast held in February 2016, the organizers of the Ukrainian Prayer Breakfast asked him to be the primary speaker at theirs. He also brings a strong stand on such issues like marriage, family, and the values of Jesus. He is an experienced and active supporter of reforms in Ukraine.”
Now, let’s separate these preceding paragraphs from this next paragraph…
“The affidavit refers to multiple Russian contacts with unnamed individuals associated with the National Prayer Breakfast. It says Russia was cultivating political contacts in the U.S. to “weaken U.S. partnerships with European allies, undermine Western sanctions, encourage anti-U.S. political views, and counter efforts to bring Ukraine and other former Soviet states into European institutions.”
…and re-contextualize the actions of ‘The Fellowship’ (Coe cult) separately from the assertions of the Department of Justice. Yes, Russian external intelligence quite possibly would be absolutely interested in the activities of the Coe cult, with its’ long history of lobbying the leadership of nations where it sees opportunity to benefit the über-right wing of the American military-industrial complex stakeholder. Particularly in case where this (in bold) description preceding would exclude Putin but include Nalvany. Was it the Coe cult had actually set out to groom Maria Butina as opposed to Butina being an agent of Russia ingratiating herself to the cult? The possibilities are intriguing. Recalling Coe’s mission statement “We work with power where we can and build new power where we can’t”, the Coe cult’s networking points to alignment with recent decades USA foreign policy, particularly during a period of detente with American neo-liberalism where the transition from Bush to Obama had seen practically seamless continuity of empire. But Coe is dead and his longtime influential liaison to the neo-liberals, Hillary Clinton, is sidelined and whatever you might think of Donald Trump, even while captured and used, he’s not playing according to script:
“Ahead of the meeting, staffers provided Trump with some 100 pages of briefing materials aimed at laying out a tough posture toward Putin, but the president ignored most of it, according to one person familiar with the discussions, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to disclose internal deliberations. Trump’s remarks were “very much counter to the plan”
Who’re those advisors? With Trump’s social engineer, Steve Bannon, pushed out and other nationalist-populist minded Trump advisors either fenced out or facing prosecutions, the White House has been taken over by cult member Pence aligned Christian Zionists, inclusive of the generals Mattis and Kelly. The erstwhile detente with the neo-liberal American military-industrial oligarchs has broken down, they’re demanding Trump’s head but the cult is leery of alienating Trump’s populist base, caught between the proverbial rock and a hard place as it were.
In this proposed scenario, there is imminent threat concealed in the DoJ indictment of Maria Betina, what she has done is little different to, if different at all, to the core of how the National Prayer Breakfast operates; after-all, it is all about, and has always been all about, unregistered agencies networking, lobbying, pursuing unsanctioned espionage, and generally serving as a front for myriad illegal activities beyond the boundaries set out in American law … to the benefit of the ultra-right of American’s military-industrial complex. If Butina can be prosecuted for her networking, so can the lot of them. This has to be the underlying reason for house Republicans preparing articles of impeachment for Rod Rosenstein and demand for Special Counsel Robert Mueller wrap up and get out. As much as the Coe cult would like to get rid of Trump themselves, they don’t know how, except to defect to the neo-liberal position and abandon and alienate Trump’s base, something they’ve been unwilling to do, to now.
If Russia has its moles in the National Prayer Breakfast, and it may well be the case, Maria Butina is almost certainly not one of them. Her profile is completely wrong, and the military-industrial complex owned Western media’s concealment of major portions of her story says a LOT.
At the end of the day, Maria Butina was an ambitious, gun loving Russian liberal (not unusual in Russia) whose networking with the NRA saw her step into the Coe cult viper pit. She never imagined she would be framed by the neo-liberals in endeavor to undo Trump, after-all she had (like Nalvany) naively believed in Western liberal democracy.

But then, led by known cult member Mike Pence, Trump is pressured to re-engage Putin and Russia in a hostile light, and to pursue the anti-Putin cult agenda but put Trump in the lead so as not to make him look captured and alienate his base:

Meanwhile it surfaces Torshin & Butina had rather straightforward economic meetings with treasury officials of the Obama administration where none of the people present can remember anything, which indicates no one wants to be pulled into this investigation & prosecution (alternatively, they all have Alzheimer’s) but I really like this quote:
“According to the charges, investigators found a handwritten note in her apartment that included details about a job offer from the FSB, and allegations that she was in contact with senior Russian intelligence officials.
HANDWRITTEN NOTES UNCOVERED BY FBI IN BUTINA’S APARTMENT ASKED ‘HOW TO RESPOND TO FSB OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT?’
Because, apparently unlike every other spy agency in the world, the GRU is the only one known to recruit idiots and to advise its agent to specifically leave incriminating evidence in handwritten notes behind so it can be conveniently discovered by, well, anyone”
The ironic beauty in this preceding is, if the invitation to join FSB were to be real, FSB is Russia’s internal FBI and likely only indicates an invitation to work in the economic crimes unit, but the (USA’s) FBI has to somehow tie this to external espionage because the related (RollingStone) propaganda has already used Torshin receiving a decoration from the FSB to point the finger to external espionage. Where have we seen this deliberately mixing up the FSB with the SVR before? If the ‘handwritten note’ were forged, well, the FBI has a long and storied history of producing bogus expert witnesses, including ones validating evidence planted by the CIA. Why recent moves promoting Mike Pompeo to head up Department of State, and Gina Haspel taking over at CIA, point to the generals consolidating power for a man in the shadow of Donald Trump, Mike Pence. These promotions are element of contest between vying factions where the generals are winning. We begin with the promotion of torturer Haspel at CIA, to arrive at understanding of where this is presently pointed in a convoluted series of contested maneuvers from behind the curtain. First, some information warfare background.
A good analogy for a ‘limited hangout’ is a tax cheat. Information is the wealth one hides, in the ‘limited hangout context’ of declaring ‘yeah, I have wealth’ for the fact there is no denying the obvious but a great deal of this wealth is deliberately kept concealed. The main difference between the Central Intelligence Agency and the tax cheat is, if you’re Gina Haspel hiding a wealth of incriminating information, you’ll enjoy ‘sovereign immunity’ from disclosure of that wealth of criminality in the so-called ‘justice’ system; whereas if you’re Paul Manafort who’d laundered income to conceal it and then been dumb enough to invite scrutiny by becoming a high profile personality associated with Trump, there is no legal mechanism to save your butt short of a presidential pardon, meanwhile yourself & concealed wealth can be ‘hung out to dry.’
Building on the tax cheat analogy per the American neoliberal democracy, little different to the income of the individual or corporation must be declared to the Income Revenue Service, the acts of our institutions must be declared to the citizen via congressional oversight; but we should know our ‘public servants’ have a history of cheating.
Example given, when it was Dick Cheney concealing his Central Intelligence Agency run murder program (hit squads) with instruction to CIA not to inform Congress, and Obama’s “Look forward, not back” excusing Cheney’s extra-judicial murder program and much more (when considering the related renditions program), from investigative scrutiny and prosecution. Cheney and Obama are major corporate ‘tax cheats’ in a quid pro quo relationship; we know multiple millions (billions?) were expended pursuing grossly criminal acts by the intelligence agencies but the taxpayer footing the bill is kept in the dark except in the case of a ‘limited hangout’ divulging ‘just enough’ information to satisfy some Orwellian ‘new speak’ sense of ‘accountability’ (but certainly not justice.) Such a ‘limited hangout’ is the Feinstein ‘torture report.’
What the Feinstein Report Doesn’t Tell Us
The 1st thing is, how many actual renditions took place. Recalling certain ‘allied’ intelligence agencies are looking after #1, there is a ‘Sword of Damocles’ hanging over the CIA renditions report in the form of MOSSAD ‘assets’ Reprieve (a British ‘human rights’ NGO) and The Guardian. We’ll come back to this aspect, but first:
To now, Reprieve (in a project endorsed by The Guardian) has identified 11,000 flights by known CIA renditions aircraft. How many of those flights were to ‘outsourced’ torture? (sites other than CIA run ‘black sites’.) Related to this, Obama’s CIA Director John Brennan had been up to his armpits in the Bush torture program:
MARGARET WARNER: “So is it — are you saying both in two ways — both in getting terrorists off the streets and also in the interrogation?
JOHN BRENNAN: “Yes. The rendition is the practice or the process of rendering somebody from one place to another place. It is moving them and the U.S. Government will frequently facilitate that movement from one country to another. . . .
“Also I think it’s rather arrogant to think we’re the only country that respects human rights. I think that we have a lot of assurances from these countries that we hand over terrorists to that they will, in fact, respect human rights”
“And there are different ways to gain those assurances. But also let’s say an individual goes to Egypt because they’re an Egyptian citizen and the Egyptians then have a longer history in terms of dealing with them, and they have family members and others that they can bring in, in fact, to be part of the whole interrogation process”
Do you suppose Brennan’s cynically referring to this statement in a Human Rights Watch report?
“…[Egyptian] techniquesinclude threats to inflict torture or sexual abuse on detainees’ female family members, including wives, threats to arrest family members, exposure to screams…’
How absolutely unwise of Brennan to use the Egypt example in the cause of renditions to outsourced torture he supported, because his CIA proxy interrogator (torture darling) in Egypt at the time was Omar Sulieman:
“Shortly after 9/11, Australian citizen, Mamdouh Habib, was captured by Pakistani security forces and, under US pressure, tortured by Pakistanis. He was then rendered (with an Australian diplomats watching) by CIA operatives to Egypt, a not uncommon practice. In Egypt, Habib merited Suleiman’s personal attention. As related by Richard Neville, based on Habib’s memoir:
Habib was interrogated by the country’s Intelligence Director, General Omar Suleiman…. Suleiman took a personal interest in anyone suspected of links with Al Qaeda. As Habib had visited Afghanistan shortly before 9/11, he was under suspicion. Habib was repeatedly zapped with high-voltage electricity, immersed in water up to his nostrils, beaten, his fingers were broken and he was hung from metal hooks.
“That treatment wasn’t enough for Suleiman, so:
To loosen Habib’s tongue, Suleiman ordered a guard to murder a gruesomely shackled Turkistan prisoner in front of Habib – and he did, with a vicious karate kick.
“After Suleiman’s men extracted Habib’s confession, he was transferred back to US custody, where he eventually was imprisoned at Guantanamo. His “confession” was then used as evidence in his Guantanamo trial”
Moving forward, how many of the 11,000 flights by known CIA renditions aircraft were made to simply ‘disappear’ people? A British case opened a glimpse into this aspect; the investigation in Britain of the CIA’s rendition of Binyam Mohamed (who was outsourced to torture where his testicles had been brutalized) turned up a MI6 manual instruction to British intelligence officers not to become involved with any CIA rendition where the objective was to kill the target. In the MI6 manual chapter produced for the British court, it is clear the manual instruction’s overall context is intended to keep the British officers clean of and British jurisdiction clear of (and by extension, Her Majesty’s government) certain specified crimes in relation to CIA actions in violation of international law:
“Is it clear that detention, rather than killing, is the objective of the operation?”
It would appear the British are not squeamish about cooperating with CIA in relation to deliveries to torture, rather they are of the ‘if we didn’t see it, it didn’t happen’ philosophy. Where it appears they had drawn a line is in relation to ‘disappearing’ people to die. This inference can be drawn following the preceding MI6 manual language, because everything else in the chapter produced from the MI6 manual for the court is about what the officers would be required to report under British obligations to humanitarian law, if observed; all known CIA renditions practices such as hooding, beating and ‘torture’ (read water-boarding) in relation to any agencies MI6 works in ‘liaison’ with (read CIA.)
With the MI6 manual providing the first hard documentary evidence from allied intelligence there is a concern over renditions to ‘disappear’ people, specifying killing in context of working with the Americans, it follows the Americans involved with renditions should be given a strict scrutiny in regards not only to torture, this is already well documented, but renditions as interim step to targeted killings or ‘disappearing’ kidnapped people. This brings up ‘the ships‘ …
“U.S. PRISON SHIPS: On June 2, 2008 UK’s Guardian reported, “The US has admitted that the Bataan and Peleliu were used as prison ships between December 2001 and January 2002”. According to Reprieve, the U.S. may have used 17 ships as “floating prisons” since 2001. Detainees are interrogated on ships and may be rendered to other, undisclosed locations. Reprieve expressed concern over the time the U.S.S. Ashland spent off Somalia in early 2007. According to The Guardian, “At this time many people were abducted by Somali, Kenyan and Ethiopian forces in a systematic operation involving regular interrogations by individuals believed to be members of the FBI and CIA. Ultimately more than 100 individuals were ‘disappeared’ to prisons in locations including Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Guantanamo Bay. Reprieve believes prisoners may have also been held for interrogation on the USS Ashland and other ships in the Gulf of Aden during this time.”
…leading to the ‘ghost’ prisons & prisoners and Diego Garcia:
“The [ghost] prison’s existence was also confirmed by Dick Marty, a Swiss senator who produced a detailed report on “extraordinary rendition” for the Council of Europe in June 2007 (PDF) and by Manfred Novak, the UN’s Special Rapporteur on Torture, in March this year. Having spoken to senior CIA officers during his research, Marty told the European Parliament, “We have received concurring confirmations that United States agencies have used Diego Garcia, which is the international legal responsibility of the UK, in the ‘processing’ of high-value detainees,” and Manfred Novak explained to the Observer that “he had received credible evidence from well-placed sources familiar with the situation on the island that detainees were held on Diego Garcia between 2002 and 2003.” The penultimate piece of the jigsaw puzzle came in May [2008], when El Pais broke the story that “ghost prisoner” Mustafa Setmariam Nasar, whose current whereabouts are unknown, was imprisoned on the island in 2005, shortly after his capture in Pakistan — although the English-speaking press failed to notice
“Despite these previous disclosures, yesterday’s [2008] article, by Adam Zagorin, is particularly striking because of the high-level nature of the source, and his admission that “the CIA officer surprised attendees by volunteering the information, apparently to demonstrate that the agency was doing its best to obtain valuable intelligence.” In addition, the source noted that “the U.S. may also have kept prisoners on ships within Diego Garcia’s territorial waters, a contention the U.S. has long denied”
Considering the ages old folk proverb ‘leopards don’t shed their spots’, taken together with the history of CIA propping up regimes infamous for ‘disappearing’ people (juntas of Argentina, Brazil & Chile, examples given), the preceding material indicates a tremendous potential for blackmail. Into this potential ‘blackmail soup’ we can add The Guardian NEVER does friendly business with, or promotes, any entity at odds with Israel; bringing up the 11,000 known renditions aircraft flights and Reprieve practically having its hand fondly held by the Guardian when it comes to reporting on CIA renditions. What it would seem we have here is Reprieve’s a ‘limited hangout with potential’ or, that is to say if it favored Israel, it’s possible MOSSAD could arrange to feed Reprieve a ‘leak’ of renditions related documents tomorrow, naming numerous ‘ghost’ prisoners that were ‘disappeared’ and can never be accounted for, and The Guardian would publish the material in a heartbeat. Example would be the removal of David Petraeus (Paula Broadwell is the cover story) as head of CIA via a Guardian/BBC collaboration, to now absent in USA media:
“A 15-month investigation by the Guardian and BBC Arabic reveals how retired US colonel James Steele, a veteran of American proxy wars in El Salvador and Nicaragua, played a key role in training and overseeing US-funded special police commandos who ran a network of torture centres in Iraq. Another special forces veteran, Colonel James Coffman, worked with Steele and reported directly to General David Petraeus, who had been sent into Iraq to organise the Iraqi security services”
Why did Petraeus have to go? For the simple reason of religious conviction:
Dominionists celebrate Christian nationalism, in that they believe that the United States once was, and should once again be, a Christian nation. In this way, they deny the Enlightenment roots of American democracy.

A sample of known dominionists surrounding Trump in the so-called ‘national security’ apparatus would include ‘the generals’ McMaster, Kelly and Mattis, all aligned with known dominionist Mike Pence, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, and now Mike Pompeo at Department of State:

Insofar as the CIA Pompeo will continue to heavily influence as head of its Siamese twin Department of State, and the intelligence community generally:

Complicating any attempt at injecting rationality into this scene of necrotic fundamentalism that has been aptly named the American “Christian Taliban” by the Military Religious Freedom Foundation is, superstitious Slovenian villager Melania Trump repeatedly importing scores of priests and pastors to the White House for purpose of exorcism and laying hands on ‘the donald.’
Now, to the recent ‘you’re fired’ to Tillerson, resulting in the promotions of Pompeo and Haspel.
“Bloody Gina” appointed to head up the CIA isn’t just a message of ‘anything goes’ but is much more than this, it’s a deliberate side-show setting up media distraction; it is a form of information warfare. This is because, whether Gina Haspel is confirmed to run the CIA or not, nothing changes at CIA leadership where Haspel has been the hands on grunt, as deputy director, for over a year. And it is over this past year the CIA policies described earlier in this article, will have been put in place again, never mind anything Haspel has to say in her confirmation hearing; the woman is a practitioner of narcissistic cruelty, a foot-soldier-sadist in the tradition of dominionist Dick Cheney. It is this last, immediate preceding, or Cheney legacy, should concern us above all.
Prior to the unexpected/unforeseen election of Donald Trump, the Israeli alliance with the American religious right had been a Faustian balancing act; Netanyahu and his ilk politically exploited the Christian right and its belief in a ‘Greater Israel’ but this alliance with a community that holds that ‘Greater Israel’, once established, will necessarily be destroyed, had always been tempered by neoliberals in positions of power, whether the likes of Chuck Schumer, Barack Obama, John Brennan or a whole host of other people supporting the arch-criminal Hillary Clinton, notably Soros. During the time of Bush/Cheney it could be argued Jewish neocons, as viciously aggressive as they are, helped the neoliberals keep the total insanity of these Christian Zionists in check. Corporate neocolonizing (Manifest Destiny 2.0 is where neocons, dominionists and neoliberals are indistinguishable) of the world is one thing, provoking World War Three is another thing altogether. Nearly all of this ‘restraint’ is now tossed out the window, never previously has the White House seen such a near absolute consolidation of power in the hands of theologically driven advocates of total world war.
Previous means of MOSSAD and Shin Bet checking the power of extremists in the ‘Greater Israel’ cause (when politicians weren’t listening), whether Shin Bet presently seeing off the messianic ultra-orthodox allied Bibi with corruption charges, or MOSSAD with news waiting in the wings of American press for the fact of David Petraeus had been directly responsible for torture camps and death squads in Iraq, or possibly Reprieve suddenly inheriting a largesse of information concerning the Cheney era abuses, up to and including numerous cases of ‘disappeared’ via renditions, to send off Gina Haspel, are likely useless in the present circumstance. There’s not enough time. Some context, per Natanyahu’s former MOSSAD chief:

To put this preceding in perspective, it was the neoliberal Obama (believe it or not, with the help of ‘dubya’ warning Netanyahu not to take advantage of Bush Jr’s ‘lame duck’ days in office, to Cheney’s deep disappointment) stopped Bibi attacking Iran via the agreement Congress has effectively since scrapped. As a wag recently put it to me concerning Trump ousting Hillary in this planet’s greatest contest between world class criminals “so, we were better off in the frying pan, after all.”
Recalling former MOSSAD chief Dagan’s stating “Diskin, Ashkenazi and I succeeded in blocking all dangerous adventures” but these type personalities having been swept aside from the top (at least) of Israel’s security apparatus, the question arises over who in the AIPAC from the Jewish side can arrest their American Christian Zionist (dominionist) partners or if it is even possible at this point; where the Israeli lobby had screwed up and we all are faced with what they are responsible for: President Trump partnered with and surrounded by, one might say in the custody of, people willing to take the existential threat beyond all previous threshold or to a deliberate all out war with Russia. Every Trump firing at the national security level, to now, has seen replacements consolidating the dominionist position and increased the threat of civilization ending event. If it is true Israel could not exercise impunity without support of the Americans, it is equally true these American dominionists could never have come to power without decades support of Israel via AIPAC.
That it had been neoliberals who’d attempted to derail the election of Trump with their ‘Steele Dossier’ caper and ‘the Russians did it DNC hack’ information warfare against the American people, have seen their game co-opted, and are now trapped and can’t back out, would be funny if it weren’t for the larger implication. If Shiva is ‘god’, perhaps there is some meaning in all of this, beyond a sense of humor at a cosmic level.

The months long rumor Pompeo would replace Tillerson at Department of State proved correct. More recently, rumor has it Trump is taking aim at the generals, beginning with National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster and intending to fire White House Chief of Staff General John Kelly as well. Meanwhile, General James Mattis, at Department of Defense, has been allowing the Pentagon to provoke Russia in both word and deed.
Donald Trump, who has already been, against his better instinct, coerced and/or manipulated into hostile relationship with Russia, may be the only thing standing between America’s dominionists and World War Three. Will he cave in altogether to the dominionists? No one knows. Will the generals engineer a war with Russia and hand it to Trump as a fait accompli? Certainly it’s possible. Will Mike Pence wait to hear his generals told ‘You’re fired!’ and see them go away? Don’t bet on it.
This is not the America that went quiet and mourned when JFK was assassinated by a cabal of businessmen aligned with Allen Dulles. Mike Pence, who has openly stated Dick Cheney is his role model, is no Lyndon Johnson. By comparison, the evil of Pence is compounded to a power of ten. What’s going on isn’t rocket science but it is a trap.

Well, because of JRR Tolkien, and his character ‘Wormtongue’ whispering lies to the King of Rohan; and the fact the USA is no longer a Republic but a theocratic monarchy along the lines of the biblical kings, with an usurper on the throne.
To kick off our story, Wormtongue, er, that is James Mattis and his generals, are a very big liars. This is evident in his Pentagon insisting the USA can intercept any nuclear armed missile ‘rocket boy’ can toss at Guam, Alaska, Hawaii, or for that matter, Chicago. Did Mattis personally say that? No, that line of horseshit, following on the Pentagon, is more recently coming from the Department of State. But in the USA’s system of jurisprudence, our Department of Defense’s chief philosopher, that is Mattis, is guilty of practicing a ‘lie by omission’ because:

What is interesting here is, the freaked out chimp McMaster stating ‘much further advanced’ than anticipated. Now, it stands to reason, if you’ve been caught with your pants down and just figured out North Korea not only has the H-bomb, but the means to deliver it, AND, YOU DON’T HAVE THE MEANS TO PREVENT DELIVERY, you shouldn’t be behaving like a freaked out chimp in aggression mode. But that’s what ‘McMaster’ can’t ‘master’ … he can’t seem to lay his hands on that 1% of DNA that differentiates chimps from humans.
And insofar as the recent ‘intelligence’ fed the western press by South Korea’s spy agency, the idea North Korea couldn’t see the USA’s ‘stealth’ B-1 bomber, well, that’s likely a fantasy because North Korea has a reasonably up-to-date (via China) cloned or home-grown surface to air system based on the Russian S-300 and that system profiles like this:

And even if they couldn’t see a stealth bomber arriving, North Korea would know to initiate a nuclear launch from the first arriving attack on it’s air defense stations or other installations, as it is hardly reasonable to expect solo stealth bombers (any stealth fighter escorts would be detected for the fact they have a higher radar profile) except in case of a USA initiated ‘preemptive’ surprise nuclear 1st strike; which is likely the only ‘gamed’ scenario the troglodytes at the Pentagon can deceive themselves into believing stands a chance at preventing any North Korea nuke(s) heading towards their (soon to be demonstrated as failed) anti-ballistic missile shield in the event of war.

The ‘Machismo Meter’
Machismo is a violent human expression or, an extreme expression of the violence of projected ego. The more ‘machismo’ you express, the further you are from the androgynous nature of beauty in human intelligence. Therefore, in the denial ruled male mono-sexual mentality of the western male hierarchy, the more ‘machismo’ you exhibit, the greater the denial of your heightened homosexual propensity: contrasted to the heterosexual orientation Native male possessed of an androgynous intelligence which does not fear to express human beauty.
If we place Kiefer Sutherland’s super-macho character ‘Jack Bauer’ in the employ of Department of Defense, MOSSAD or the CIA near the top of the ‘Machismo Meter’ and set him on the author of this essay, we begin to understand why the multiple assassination attempts have failed.
It is as simple as I dare to be beautiful in my relationships to a greater living reality as a straight orientation Native male. The cumulative result should be no surprise, a culturally self-justified, rationalization for an unquestioned, unlimited State authority to rule over men and nations; nations of those very ruled over men who claim “They hate us for our freedoms.” But freedoms should not be conflated with ‘taking liberties.’ In reality, ‘they’ hate us for ‘taking the liberty’ of robbing their nations of natural resources at the point of a bayonet, for generations. When was Meryl Streep speaking out while Obama was ‘taking the liberty’ of slaughtering the innocents of multiple nations in ongoing resource grab, artificially propping up the outlandish standard of living, comparatively speaking, a majority of Americans actually believe they are entitled to? Where was Meryl Streep speaking out when Hillary was the first lieutenant of NATO, when NATO was decapitating the nation of Libya? The pretext of ‘humanitarian violence’ replacing Gaddafi’s relative few ‘abuses’ with tribal warlords, al Qaida and a chapter of Islamic State actually served to derail Libya transitioning to a gold backed dinar, an immense threat to the USA dollar as the world’s reserve currency. Why conceal the motive with a seeming compulsive lie? A matter of habit? More plainly, this is certain example of a culture’s action incompatible with its pretension. This is a matter of cultural habit.
Hobbes and his peers would not only be a supporter of the Divine Right of Kings & colonialism but in today’s world, with their self-serving convoluted denials of responsibility concealing contradiction – would support a modern police state and label it ‘freedom.’ English philosophy, deeply, culturally ingrained, but examined honestly, provides for apparatus of state represented in Robert Mugabe or Kim Jong-un as easily as a Barack Obama, The Donald, or The Donald’s rival, Hillary. They’re all cut from a similar cloth. They all behave as autocrats. They all either are, or harbor, kleptocrats. They’re all vampires, whether feeding off victims foreign or domestic or both. Their populations are, all, in some one respect or another, propagandized to point of immensely clueless. Their minions, for the greater part, don’t deviate from ‘the party line.’ They all suffer self-aggrandizing-self-conceited-self-deceits.
The substance of what Meryl Streep says (or doesn’t say) about Trump doesn’t bother me at all. What is astounding is, the stunning degree of hypocrisy, ingrained as it were, in the colonists’ philosophers and widely seen in their cultural progeny.
