The once upon a time, hardened nuclear command mega-bunker, built inside of Cheyenne Mountain, outside of Colorado Springs, USA, drove the adversarial intelligence agencies crazy. So, what was up with that?
The nuclear command and control system had been moved out of the mountain and onto exposed ground where it was vulnerable to first strike. WTF?? was the reaction of those pesky Russkies, it not only baffled them but the Chinks too… oh, and a few allies and the domestic front. What secret new system, world mayhem, Satanic DARPA project, might be taking shape in this vacated NORAD space? (a reasonable question.)
NOT TO WORRY asserted our Christian Taliban Air Force generals; the Pentagon and Saint Augustine have our back, oh and by way of explanation for those secular infidels, you see, it’s all a command and control redundancy; we need two systems, one exposed so, if or when we miss our ‘first strike’ at the ball and the exposed system gets blown away, there is no problem (they sent this excuse out on Radio Liberty.)
^ “You’re telling me 30% of our military want 8 billion people to die?” “The answer is affirmative”
Question: “Is the ‘just’ in Saint Augustine’s ‘just war theory’ an adverb rather than the widely assumed adjective?”
Answer: “It’s easy to correct the misconstrued interpretation, for the fact our righteous Augustine was a Roman, it can only be ‘just’ the adverb.”
At our next lesson, we’ll have a look at how we’ll be lodging the Air Force Academy leadership of the ‘144,000 Chosen‘, here’s a quick preview:

Nah. Nothing were ever so simple as an apocalyptic military doomsday cult needed a bit of NORAD’s ‘survival’ space, you think? APRIL FOOL! (for all incapable of wrapping their heads around the point of this ‘satire’)
Today March 8 is celebrated Women’s Day, and allow the heart of this burning topicality this message of love and admiration for those who are in my eyes in the heart of human storms the high guardians of Life, Traditions and Human Hope.
Calling Women “the weaker sex” is certainly one of the worst nonsense conveyed by this Western monotheistic phallocracy which has infected European mentalities despite a few exceptions (which confirm the rule) such as the Marian cult and the myth of Joan of Arc for example .
Often relegated in the history of Western wars to a passive or ignored role, women on the contrary turn out to be combatants in their own right, and more! because their feminine and maternal dimension gives them the symbolic power of what Man fights for until the supreme sacrifice, for his sanctuary and his freedom!
Since I arrived in the Donbass, the women I met in the bombarded neighborhoods or in the trenches have not only impressed me with their natural elegance but above all with their courage and their love for this black land too often reddened with the blood of its children, and I understand why the Greek myths at the origin of this founding myth often situate the people of the Amazons on these northern shores of the Black Sea where for eight years the daughters of the Novorossiya have resuscitated their legend with a bravery that has never not to be ashamed of that of their elders of the Red Army having already risen only 3 generations ago against the madness of Nazism.
The land of Novorossiya cradle of the legendary Amazons

If war is often considered as a “men’s affair”, we must not however neglect the place of women in the military history of peoples… On the contrary because the Woman is not only the living symbol of the forbidden sanctuary, mother, companion or daughter of the warrior, but also proves to be an essential participant in the war effort. And when we look closely at revolts, revolutions and wars, not only do we see women there, but many of them play a decisive and symbolic role in the writing in letters of blood of the heroic pages of a human adventure, unfortunately painful.
In 2014, when the war fell on the Donbass, there were many mothers, sisters and daughters who from Donetsk and Lugansk went to pick up a weapon, a first aid kit, a bag of ammunition and food and carry themselves, unblinking to the Ukrainian armored madness destroying their homes.
Ilona Bonevich, callsign “Bonja” in 2014, this woman commands a unit
special, injured in the fire, twice decorated… with the group of Commander Givi and a workforce of only 120 militiamen, she will defend the city of Iliovaïsk, attacked by several Ukrainian armored battalions supported by shelling. Faced with the fierce resistance of this handful of lovers of their land, the enemy, vexed, ended up beating a retreat, estimating their forces… at 3,500 men!
Workers, nurses, paramedics, messengers, but also combatants, these women of honor are often present in the turmoil, from the back of the front to the heart of the battles, and their actions have nothing to envy to the courage and the heroism of their brothers in arms alongside whom are courageously defended the values, traditions and freedoms of a people of Europe threatened for 8 years by an ethnocentric and genocidal dictatorship under the orders of a foreign power.
And at a time when the towns of the People’s Republic of Lugansk, Severodonetsk and Lisichansk are about to be finally liberated by the republican forces supported by the “north wind”, my thoughts go out to these teenagers of the “Battalion of the young self-defense” who, in August 2014 sacrificed themselves to allow the militias to escape the encirclement and retreat to a front line that they will hold until today:
This teenager had volunteered with her classmates to defend their city of Lisichansk in August 2014: 72 young people, and without military training, aged 16 to 18, of whom 24 girls had trained the “Young Self-Defense Battalion”. They will achieve the unthinkable: resist for 2 days against 2000 Ukrainian soldiers supported by armor and artillery. 18 of them will die for their land including this heroic young girl, many others will be injured and some will even manage to escape the encirclement and join the ranks of the Luhansk militia. Eternal memory for these heroes!
Today the women of Donbass, like their Palestinian, Syrian, Yemeni, Armenian, Kurdish sisters… are in their fidelity to the past a universal example for the future of the peoples, of their dignity and freedom.
Indeed, since the dawn of time, the Woman has been in the front line to defend this hearth that she embodies even in her womb, and thus to enter the heroic legend of nations: from the Egyptian Ahhotep, to Geneviève de Galard, the angel of Dien Bien Phu, via Zenobie the Syrian, Bodicea the Celtic, Hangaku Gozen the Japanese, Joan of Arc the French, Anne Bonny the English, Animatou de Zaria the African, Calamity Jane the American, Phûlan Devî, the Indian, Sophie Magdalena Scholl the German, Laskarina Bouboulina the Greek, Rosa Luxembourg, Louise Michel, Marie-Claude Vaillant-Couturier; Lucie Aubrac, Marie, Dolores, Anne, Françoise, Greta and so many other known or unknown fighters but so numerous in history that there would be a lack of
But here, in this Donbass at war, I admit that women are exceptionally courageous, selfless and sacrifice for their country and their people, resisting with incredible resilience 8 years of war and genocidal bombardments.
Perhaps they are also carried – and certainly – by this heritage of Slavic women in general and Russian women in particular, who engaged massively alongside men during the wars of their History and in particular in the 20th century when complete units were even consecrated, such as the “death battalion” and its 2000 volunteers deployed on the German-Russian front during the First World War.
But it was especially during the Great Patriotic War from 1941 to 1945 that, responding to the principle of Marxist-Leninist equality of equal citizenship, thousands of Russian women enlisted from 1941 in the ranks of the regular Red Army. but also in those of the partisans. These women enlisted as auxiliaries of course, but also tankers, snipers, airwomen, and they were more than 1 million to fight on the Russian front to defend the Motherland, that is 8% of the total troops engaged during the conflict!
Today the girls of Novorossiya have proved that they are worthy of the mythical amazons or the heroic fighters of the Red Army; defending with exemplary courage the land of their ancestors and their children!
Some smiles have faded but their eyes continue to shine in the sky of our memories:
On this day of March 8, I address my admiration to all the women who are the true heart of men and in particular to those who are at the heart of the fights led for their land of which they are the eternal guardians!
I wanted to offer all these girls, sisters, companions, mothers and “babouchkas” of Novorossiya, this tribute, but I realize with sadness that my words are only the miserable echo of the admiration I have for their courage. and their dignity… So I withdraw, letting my heart send them in silence my eternal gratitude for the noble example they offer us…

Since the February 2014 Maidan coup—where worshippers of Nazi collaborators Stepan Bandera overthrew Ukraine’s democratically elected pro-Russian leader Viktor Yanukovych—the U.S. has provided $2.5 billion in military aid to the Ukrainians, including $450 million in 2021 alone. (Since 2014, the EU has provided 17 billion euros to Kyiv!)

Other NATO countries, including Canada, UK, Poland and Turkey have provided weapons, training and intelligence. Turkey has provided Bayraktir attack drones, and instructors, and both the Javelins and the drones have been used in combat against the Donbass Republics’ defense forces.

Ukraine itself has recently required women between the ages of 18 and 60 to register for the draft, including pregnant women and mothers with young children. Meanwhile, NATO already has 13,000 troops, 200 tanks, 400 APCs and 3 dozen aircraft and helicopters stationed in Eastern Europe, and there are currently 10,000 NATO “instructors” in Ukraine (including 4,000 from the United States). In early December, the Greek port of Alexandroupolis received the largest shipment of U.S. military equipment in its history, including helicopters, UAVs, tanks, IFVs and artillery for the annual NATO exercise “Atlantic Resolve.”
US and Ukraine continue preparations for assault on Donbass Republics
In early December, the water of the Severdonetsk River—which supplies more than 90% of the municipal tap water to all major cities of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in eastern Ukraine (as well as major cities of Donetsk Oblast under Ukrainian control)—was contaminated by chemical and biological agents from sources in Kharkov and Slavyansk.
This contamination—augmented by “fracking” in the areas of Donetsk Oblast under Ukrainian control—has resulted in the tap water of the DPR being unsuitable for cooking or drinking.
A truck driver fills water containers with clean water in Pavlopil, eastern Ukraine. The Zelensky government of Ukraine deliberately contaminated the drinking water in the region in a major war crime ignored by the Western media. [Source: unicef.org]
Contamination and/or denial of drinking water for civilian populations constitutes a “grave breach,” and thus qualifies as a war crime, under both the Nuremberg Tribunal Charter and the Fourth Geneva Convention.[1]
The chemical attack on the Severdonetsk River is not the only chemical and biological threat against the Donbass Republics by Ukraine and its Western sponsors.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported on reported on December 21st that 120 U.S. mercenaries received deliveries of chemical weapons in the Ukrainian occupied frontline cities of Avdeevka and Krasny Liman for use in a possible false-flag attack that could be blamed on Russia.
Press Secretary of the DPR Defense Ministry Eduard Basurin confirmed that Ukraine had received several batches of toxic substances, botulinum toxin and an antidote to it from the U.S.
He stated:
Various types of chemical weapons were brought to Ukraine. In October, one of the shipments contained an antidote against botulinum toxin. In November, the chemical itself was delivered. It can be used with grenade launchers. The weight is small. It can be dropped from drones, and Ukraine has been using shock drones all the time lately.
In addition, “Another container weighing 300 kilograms was delivered to Mariupol by sea, where there was a chemical warfare agent—dibenzoxazepine, which is used in the form of an aerosol.”
In the southern sector of the Front, near Mariupol, citizens of the frontline village Granitnoye have reported Ukrainian soldiers in full chemical/biological protective suits unloading containers.
These reports do not bode well for a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine which threatens to expand into a full-fledged war involving the U.S. and Russia.
The reports bring to mind the widely and completely debunked and exposed multiple false-flag attacks by (U.S. and NATO-backed) ISIS terrorists in Syria, in which innocent civilians were slaughtered in order to use them in “White Helmet” propaganda videos, falsely blaming the mass murders on chemical attacks by the legitimate Syrian government.[2]

Diplomatic Option—Will the Biden Administration Pursue It?
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov have said multiple times that Russia is prepared to use military force if either its citizens in Donbass or its strategic national interests are further threatened by Ukraine or NATO.

Russia, however, first has proposed a diplomatic solution that the U.S. appears to be rejecting.
On December 17, 2021, Russia published a draft of a pair of treaties for mutual security guarantees between Russia, the U.S. and NATO, with eight specific articles, the first of which is a demand for equal recognition of the security interests of both countries.
The second article requires both countries to adhere to the basic principles enshrined in the United Nations Charter. The third article prohibits the signatories from using the territory of third countries for preparation of armed attacks. The fourth article is very specific—the United States shall prevent the further eastward expansion of NATO and deny NATO membership to any further former USSR Republics, meaning specifically Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia.
The fifth article prohibits either side from deploying weapons in international and third-party spaces to provoke or threaten, including agreement on maximum-approach distances of warships and aircraft. The sixth article is the prohibition of deployment of short and intermediate range missiles outside of the national territories of the parties, or where said missiles could threaten the other party.
The seventh article requires the withdrawal of all nuclear weapons deployed outside the territories of both parties, and the dismantling of existing infrastructure outside the territories for the deployment of nuclear weapons, and prohibits the training of other countries’ militaries in the use of nuclear weapons. The eighth and final article stipulates the entry into force of the Treaty once ratification by both sides is complete.

[Source: reuters.com]
This treaty is wise and highly equitable, a framework for de-escalation and a drawback from potential nuclear war. If the U.S. or NATO fails to ratify this treaty, Russia has made clear that it will enforce the provisions of the Treaty by military means.
Russia is not bluffing, and they do have the technical and military ability to do so. If the U.S./NATO refusal to ratify the treaty or further provocations in Ukraine lead to war, the onus will absolutely be on them and not on Russia. NATO armies, weapons and military infrastructure have advanced literally all the way up to the Russian border, and as Vladimir Putin has noted, “There is nowhere left to retreat.”
The treaty is not an “ultimatum,” rather it is the only feasible alternative to serious military confrontation that can easily lead to a major war. Unfortunately, it appears that Ukraine and NATO, led by the U.S., have no intention of pursuing the diplomatic option, and continue preparations and provocations that can and will lead only to a military response by Russia.
Amending of Ukrainian Constitution
On December 21st, four days after the Russian treaty proposal was published, Ukraine, on U.S. and NATO orders, with reckless impudence again amended the Ukrainian Constitution to allow foreign troops to operate on Ukrainian soil, in preparation for multiple NATO exercises to be held in Ukraine in 2022.

The number of aircraft and helicopters will more than triple—to 361—and warships almost four times—to 256. This is a tremendous military escalation, and while Russia can easily handle the Ukrainian military alone, Russia will be faced with a much more formidable foe if the NATO reinforcements are in place before hostilities commence.
Russia’s window of opportunity for a preemptive strike is a matter of weeks, and on December 29th, President Putin announced that Russia and Belarus have scheduled military exercises of their own for February and March of 2022.

It is quite possible and even “highly likely” that these “exercises” will be conducted not in Russia or Belarus, but in Ukraine itself. This possibility has already prompted the UK to announce plans to evacuate its soldiers and the U.S. to begin preparations to evacuate its citizens from Ukraine.
February 4, 2022, will be the opening day of the Winter Olympics in Beijing, and Putin has announced his intention to attend. The U.S. and NATO have a history of initiating military and geopolitical confrontations during the Olympics, as was seen with the Maidan coup in 2014 during the Sochi Olympics and the Georgian attack on South Ossetia during the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. All the above factors have led many analysts, including this author, to predict the start of major military operations in February 2022.
Non-Military Options and Russia’s Alliance with China
If the collective “West”—U.S./NATO—continue their advances and attacks against Russia, Russia also has multiple options of the non-kinetic variety with which to respond. Economic, technical and political means that can teach, even in a non-military way, what Vladimir Putin once described as “the true meaning of pain.”
Russia’s electronic warfare capabilities are currently unmatched in the world. The Murmansk-BN system has the ability to suppress radio and satellite communication over a distance of 3,000 kilometers, and has proven effective against hard targets like the U.S. F-35. Operating from within its own territory, Russia can suppress not only military aircraft, but civilian air traffic and ground transport and other communication over the entirety of Europe, including the UK.
Russia can play the energy card—the EU’s dependence on Russian oil and gas (47% in 2021) has become painfully clear this year, but it is a little known fact that Russia is the U.S.’s third largest supplier of petroleum products. In 2020, the U.S. imported 538,000 barrels per day from Russia, and even more in 2021. Russia’s supply accounts for 7% of all U.S. petroleum imports, and while an energy loss of 7% would be a major blow to the U.S., Russia can easily divert these shipments to the East and sell them there.
Were Russia to cut off its energy supplies to the EU, the economic devastation would be immediate and immeasurable. And the physical and infrastructure destruction would be even worse. People would literally freeze to death, pipes would freeze and burst, factories would be shut down and deteriorate, never to be re-opened. That is actually happening now in Ukraine. The U.S. and EU should take a look at that and take a lesson from it.
The Russia-China strategic partnership is not only military, it is economic. The U.S. economy today is a façade, a paper tiger with no real strength or foundation. The U.S. national debt is officially $30 trillion, more than 90% of GDP, and the true number, including U.S. government “unfunded liabilities” including $21 trillion for Social Security and $33 trillion for Medicare, is perhaps as much as ten times higher. It is a debt that can and will never be paid.
A combined economic assault by Russia and China against the U.S. dollar would cause inflation of Zimbabwean proportions. Soldiers do not fight if they are not paid, cops and government bureaucrats do not work if their paychecks are worthless, and citizens loot and riot if they cannot afford food. And if the U.S. economy implodes, it will take the EU economy with it. And vice versa.
All (or any) of these non-military moves would paralyze the economies and governments of virtually all NATO countries, inflicting a crushing defeat on the U.S. and EU without firing a shot. But Russia does have full justification and compelling motives for a military response as well. And if done correctly, it could result in total victory in a quick and relatively bloodless fashion.
With that in mind, it should also be noted that in early 2017, the Kyiv regime dammed the North Crimean Canal which had supplied fresh water to the 2.5 million citizens of Crimea. While the Crimean peninsula produces adequate water for survival, this criminal act not only affects the health and quality of life of the citizens, it also has had an extremely negative impact on the agriculture, economy and ecology of the peninsula. ↑Ukraine has been using ISIS and other Jihadi terrorists in its war against the Donbass Republics since the very beginning of the war. In early 2015, The Intercept first reported the links between ISIS and Ukrainian neo-Nazis. Other credible reports soon followed, from such divergent sources as Antiwar.com, The American Thinker, and even The New York Times reported on “three full Islamic battalions fighting in eastern Ukraine.” These reports are all from 2015, and the jihadi presence in Ukraine has only grown since then.
From December 2021 into January 2022, the propaganda prigs have been busy on all surfaces of the geopolitical dodecahedron. There’s no chance getting through the whole of it (not even close) but we can peek at the psyops, manipulation of otherwise intelligent people and the artificially created, deceptive incentives to infighting and destabilizing one’s enemies in a few ways almost no one else will look at.
One would like to see through the whole of it but the picture is so mixed, it defies short description. What in fact seems to be emerging is, when the forces of evil battle each other, it is not something a positive spin can be put on for the simple fact the collateral damage is immense; but we can begin with Russia and the Russian propaganda prigs employing ignorant Americans to propagandize ignorant Americans, that is Ted Rall whose understanding of the USA’s constitutional history is only matched by the ugliness of Rall’s cartoon characters:
“From the electoral college to gun rights to the hilariously archaic right to refuse to quarter troops in your home and the $20 threshold for a civil jury trial, the US Constitution contains many head-scratching relics of an America we wouldn’t recognize. Living in the age of the musket, James Madison might not be so quick to argue for legalizing the AR-15, assuming that a well-regulated state militia was still a thing.
“A work of genius the US Constitution is not. It is almost impossible to amend—it is in fact the hardest to amend in the world. The immutability of the document is highlighted by the inability of the world’s most powerful democracy to enshrine a right as basic as gender equality, a principle that the vast majority of other countries, even dictatorships and authoritarian regimes, have managed to include (at least in theory) in their founding charters” [1]
Going to Rall’s mangled context of the word “state” in Rall’s 1st paragraph, the 2nd Amendment’s “A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state” is used (as it was meant to be used), at the time of it’s writing, in a singular, greater sense of ‘nation’ as the term ‘state’ is commonly known and used in international relations to this day. This has little to do with any state militia except to put a check on those as well, when the constitutional provision was made to arm the American people. [2]
The 2nd amendment plays big in the propaganda wars, as even sane American conservatives think it is a ‘god given right’ as opposed to the anti-federalists intending it as a check on the very sort of people manipulating today’s outcomes, that is Trump & his religious fanatic allies on the one side and the ‘liberal’ opposition on the other as “American Gladio” falsely convinces liberals all ‘gun rights nuts’ are murderous sociopaths. [3]
If the anti-federalists’ 2nd Amendment had been employed honestly (original intent), we’d be a decentralized nation of stable communities where only permanent community residents in good standing (upright citizens used to be the term) owned the military grade small arms and controlled the keys to the armory where the tanks are parked. There’d be no way we’d be bleeding the common taxpayer into an impossible to solve national debt problem for purpose of supplying truly lethal arms to the world and fanning the aggression demanding immense munitions expenditures (our ‘liberals’ are co-equal or worse offenders) enriching the military industrial complex. Mom & pop businesses would still flourish and a tap you bought for home installation, either in the 1930s or today, would still be working after 100 years.
CORRUPTION is the big alienating factor that in the end frightens people when it is the corrupt spinning the news (corporate owned press, journalism these days is more concerned with job security than deeply delving into reporting on the hand that feeds them, includes ‘journalists’ like Rall working for state owned propaganda machines.) Then there’s the liberal element in power trying to jam their values down everyone’s throat, that radicalizes even the conservatives who aren’t religious nuts, which plays into a feedback loop generating more extreme hype on both sides.
This corruption consumed the American constitution from our republic’s inception; to understand the argument between the Federalists and anti-Federalists was never solved, but the Federalists (essentially today’s corporate America) have played dirty ever since, one only need examine the history of the 11th Amendment and the associated, suspect, idea the USA has rightfully asserted the doctrine of Sovereign Immunity:
The Judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States by Citizens of another State, or by Citizens or Subjects of any Foreign State. -11th Amendment
What had happened here, is a contractor from South Carolina was owed a Revolutionary War debt by the State of Georgia, which didn’t want to pay up. The Supreme Court had ruled there was no such thing as state sovereign immunity, in the case of Chisholm v Georgia.
“Chisholm v. Georgia, 2 U.S. (2 Dall.) 419 (1793), is considered the first United States Supreme Court case of significance and impact. Since the case was argued prior to the establishment of judicial review by Marbury v. Madison (1803), there was little available legal precedent (particularly in U.S. law). The Court, in a 4-1 decision, ruled in favor of Alexander Chisholm, a citizen of South Carolina, stating that states did not enjoy sovereign immunity from suits made by citizens of other states in federal court” [4]
Nearly all of the states freaked out at the prospect of having to pay up on their war debts and the 11th Amendment was passed, posthaste:
“To this day, Chisholm stands as one of only a handful of Supreme Court rulings that have been overturned by constitutional amendment. Even more important, the Supreme Court has built on the repudiation of Chisholm to hold that the Eleventh Amendment exemplifies a sovereign-immunity principle that sweeps well beyond the amendment’s text” [5]
And just like that, two immediate and a third, remarkable things happened;
1) Although the 11th Amendment is specific and narrow, and doesn’t so much as mention Sovereign Immunity, the legendary English Common Law expert William Blackstone’s Sovereign Immunity doctrine is reinstated in the former colonies: “The King moreover is not only incapable of doing wrong, but even of thinking wrong; he can never mean to do an improper thing: in him is no folly or weakness.” Only now, suddenly it is no longer the ‘King’ can act with impunity, but the institutions of government in the newly formed United States.
2) With the passing of the 11th Amendment by the several states’ legislators, all of the lawsuits pending in federal court per state war debts had been erased, and half the language of Article One, Section Nine, of the Constitution had been tossed into the ash bin: “No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.” Thomas Jefferson indicated this language had been meant to cover both criminal and civil circumstance of law, and the constitutional language supports this assertion by Jefferson; ‘Bill of Attainder’ should refer to criminal, and ‘ex post facto’ should refer to civil liabilities. In other words, the USA should not have been allowed to make law, criminalizing or creating liability, or excusing crime and liability, after the fact, to get the outcome it wants. The 11th Amendment neither mentions nor lifts this other constitutional provision. But now, civil ex post facto law happens frequently, such as Congress ‘forgiving’ the telecom companies illegally spying on Americans, erasing liability and robbing citizens of their day in court.
3) The third thing to happen was, as late as 1991, in Blatchford v. Native Village of Noatak, the Supreme Court wrote:
“we have understood the Eleventh Amendment to stand not so much for what it says, but for the presupposition of our constitutional structure which it confirms: that the States entered the federalfeudal system with their sovereignty intact, that the judicial authority in Article III is limited by this sovereignty, and that a State will therefore not be subject to suit in federal court unless it has consented to suit, either expressly or in the “plan of the convention” [my correction of SCOTUS language in bold]
And there you have it, from the early days of the Supreme Court saying Sovereign Immunity is a non existent thing in immediate post colonial USA law, to the several states’ legislatures passing the 11th Amendment which doesn’t so much as mention Sovereign Immunity, to escape war debt, to the modern Supreme Court stating the language of our constitution’s 11th Amendment doesn’t mean what it actually says, but instead means what they want it to say, essentially stating ‘we’ll extend ‘the King’s prerogative‘ as far as we please, and we’ll use the 11th Amendment to absurdly assert what amounts to a claim the King’s Sovereign Immunity (impunity) was never a point of the American Revolution.’
Here’s the simple math: From King George III was our ‘sovereign’ entitled to immunity (amounting to impunity), to ‘the people’ are sovereign, to politicians claiming they hold the people’s sovereignty (amounting to impunity), to judges appointed by those very politicians upholding this political theft of our freedoms, to the oath to uphold our constitution becoming patently meaningless, even especially when cases come before the courts. [6]
It is in the light of this preceding we can examine (shortly) Rall’s “hilariously” ignorant idea (his second paragraph quoted at the beginning of this article) there is no existing means of enforcing gender equality in our constitution as written. In fact, with the enfranchisement of women (right to vote) via the 19th Amendment, the constitution’s “Equal Protection” of the law should have served as basis for enforcing gender equality. But what is it Rall (and liberals generally) don’t want to be honest about? If THERE WERE gender equality, in a context of ‘equal protection of the law’, women would be subject to military conscription, not only men. People like Rall will never pull that argument (together with their heads) out of where the sun never shines in their small understanding of the difficulties attending social evolution, probably because they fear losing it.
Insofar as Rall asserting the USA constitution “a work of genius it is not” should recall the same people (the anti-federalists which, as a popular movement, ratified the ‘Bill of Rights’ from New Hampshire to Georgia) who wrote the 2nd Amendment also wrote the 4th amendment concerning privacy in one’s papers, a given example of motivation in the anti-federalists’ actual intentions. As well, other rights, for instance prohibition of a bill of attainder, prevention of (warrantless) unreasonable searches & seizures and the right to confront your accuser. To name but a few provisions of the first through eighth amendments authored by the anti-federalists.
If our “Bill of Rights” had been insisted upon by anti-federalists (James Madison was the compromise proxy author), and it most certainly was, the entire world is indebted to our ‘hilariously archaic’ constitution for the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights inspired by the American Bill of Rights and certain of its provisions. The 2nd Amendment’s original intent had been to secure these rights against the state. Well, it didn’t work out as planned because of the Federalist heirs’ dirty play, related dirty propaganda, that, and a self-righteous, arrogant ignorance coupled with moral turpitude & ethical cowardice across all sectors of society. To be honest, humankind is not yet evolved to point of functioning within a democracy. Rall actually seems to believe the other Western democracies, such as Germany, have functioning constitutions because they can be easily amended. Square that with the reality of German politics and its role in imperialism within today’s European Union; the best joke (cartoon in reality) a cynic could dream up: 1) Merkel goes out with a torch-lit parade featuring military sporting Nazi era helmets and music by the lover of an SS criminal executed for war crimes and gets a standing ovation at the Reichstag a day or so later, all a good match for certain NATO aggressive states’ political behaviors embedded in the European Union. [7], [8], [9]
So, going to the history of judicial corruption in the dirty play of the modern Federalists (today’s corporate America, spanning the political spectrum from Chevron’s Condoleezza Rice to Microsoft’s Bill Gates), we can wrap up this ‘Rall Constitutional Vivisection’ with the doctrine of “Strict Scrutiny” which was the WWII era invention of the USA Supreme Court that crucified the anti-federalist personal freedom protections when the new doctrine was employed to over-ride fundamental rights to secure a Federalist ‘compelling state interest’ (includes ‘sovereign immunity’ from suit and suspension of habeas corpus) with the internment of the USA’s Japanese-American population across the board. That was more than a simple prescience constituting a precedent, it was the judicial power grab that prepared the USA for the so-called ‘National Security Act of 1947’, authorizing creation of the CIA, led to the secret FISA court, unaccountable instigation of color revolutions, creation of al Qaida et al, leading ultimately to the so-called ‘Patriot Act’ (and too many more constitutional vulgarities to mention here), and the only thing ‘secured’ was extra-constitutional color of law authorizing empire and the resultant corporate state bringing the USA to ruin. [10]
Meanwhile, let’s do a bit of asymmetrical percentages; you leave both sides responsibility out of your studies and only point the finger at the one side, the left is going to get the right about 50% correct in its complicity and the right is going to get the left about 50% correct in its complicity. The two missing portions equaling 50% each is the 100% complicity both sides share in sending our small world ‘to hell in a hand basket.’
This academic clown correctly points to the USA sliding towards a 2nd civil war and fascist dictatorship but places disproportionate blame on a dead clown:
“But one can’t blame only Mr. Limbaugh, who died in early 2021, and his ilk for America’s dysfunction. These people and their actions are as much symptoms of that dysfunction as its root causes, and those causes are many. Some can be traced to the country’s founding – to an abiding distrust in government baked into the country’s political culture during the Revolution, to slavery, to the political compromise of the Electoral College that slavery spawned, to the over-representation of rural voting power in the Senate, and to the failure of Reconstruction after the Civil War. But successful polities around the world have overcome flaws just as fundamental” [11], [12]
Furthermore, in the article, if Tucker Carlson is also to blame for the right’s misinformation, how is it the left’s constitutional attorney Glenn Greenwald frequents his show to discuss these matters of our vanishing personal liberties under the Biden administration, and Trump & Obama before that?
A mini rewrite of what seems basically the same material predicting a 2nd civil war in the USA is hosted at the Guardian and this snippet is not far off the mark:
[Fundamentalist Christian leadership of] “The right has recognized that the system is in collapse, and it has a plan: violence and solidarity with treasonous far-right factions” [13]
Both ignore the perfectly plausible ‘sane’ conservative assessment that, were it ‘antifa’ had ‘stormed’ the capitol on 6 January 2021, you wouldn’t see the intact historical decor in the photos of that event, you’d see the flames that had burned that building out. How is it the Capitol rioters are ‘insurrectionists’ & ‘domestic terrorists’ and the antifa rioters who burned Portland for 100 straight days are not? And both authors are ignorant of the corrupt process in the USA’s constitutional history; leading not only to GW Bush and Dick Cheney, but their co-equal criminal actors Barack Obama and Joe Biden, color revolution perpetrators, war mongers and corporate empire prostitutes, the lot of them.
Let’s (just briefly) back up to “But successful polities around the world have overcome flaws just as fundamental” and ask, ‘Oh yeah, and what’s with those covid lock-down riots across the European Union?’ Oh, that’s right, the Federalist empire’s corporate media doesn’t have an easy spin for that. Must be some imperfection having to do with protecting allies in the West’s empire projects and “Liberal Democracy in Europe.” [14], [15]
At the end of the day, the common sense right invites the left to talk our problems out but nowhere in leadership on the left is there anyone to communicate with…
“Trump supporters were led down some rabbit holes. But they are absolutely right that the institutions and power centers of this country have been monopolized by a Regime that believes they are beneath representation, and will observe no limits to prevent them getting it. I encourage people on the Left to recognize the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in front of them. You’re not going to agree with the conservatives on everything. But if in 2004 I had told you that the majority of the GOP voter base would soon be seeing the folly of the Iraq War, becoming skeptical of state surveillance, and beginning to see the need for action to help the poor and working classes, you’d have told me such a thing would transform the country. Take the opportunity. These people are not demons, and they are ready to listen in a way they haven’t in a long, long time” [16]
…no differently were the sinking, working class right to cross the boundaries created by history exploited in the propaganda hype, there is no one in the right’s leadership to talk the tensions down and pursue some common sense communications:
“Maybe, just maybe, whitey, y’all should look at setting some history aside and begin negotiating some détente and political alliances with black people in the lower middle class communities you should be grateful hadn’t adopted the attitude of ‘the only good cracker is a dead cracker.’ From there alliances might be bridged deeper into those ghettos with a seething anger at what had happened to them and what is now happening to you. Nobody has to be in love, only reasoned, civil and fair” [17]

Question for Russian intelligence: Has anyone informed Putin ivermectin crushes covid? Or is the Russian estate determined Putin will join the roll call of prostitutes history will be unforgiving towards as Russia squeezes down on its populace with mandatory, “gene therapy” vaccination and the related erasure of personal liberties? So, does Big Pharma own you too? Our ‘Dr Mengele’s’ name is Fauci. Who is yours? [18]
Factoid: The covid virus is 1,000 times smaller than the pores in the masks you breathe through. Do ‘mask mandates’ say anything to anyone concerning psychological operations pointing people away from securing so-called ‘personal liberties?’ [19]
Valuta meke moći obuhvata kulturu, političke vrednosti, privlačenje i nagrade.
Robert Habek

May all the gods bless (forever) Dr David Martin for bringing record amount of traffic to this site in 2021. Stats in simple graphics:
^ 55,000+ views, 30,000+ visitors
Dr David Martin’s article “mRNA: It’s Gene Therapy, Not a Vaccine” brought 25,000+ views or nearly one half of the year’s article stats. This statistic would have been by far larger but the duckduckgo search engine adjusted its algorithms to bury the article, while noting google had done this to restrict ronaldthomaswest.com articles years ago. The David Martin article is not suppressed at Bing but the Microsoft search engine sees miniscule use by comparison.
With NATO continuing to provoke Russia with electronic warfare flights, even as so-called ‘security’ meetings are being convened with Russia in January 2022 (10 January with USA, 12 January with NATO and possibly 13 January with OSCE), Estonia is the most recent NATO arms-broker to ‘jab the bear’ with a sharp stick (planning Javelin anti-tank missiles & howitzer large caliber artillery deliveries to Ukraine.) It’s time to bring “NATO’s Three Chihuahuas” back to front & center. Original article (info-satire) from 2014, when the NATO-Ukraine pot began to boil:
Small Dog Syndrome or ‘Yappy Dogs With a Death Wish.’ Did you know if you get up close, face to face, with the Chihuahua in the window of a car in the parking lot, the miniature dog will become so insane with wishing to terrify you, he’ll involuntarily urinate on the door inside the car? That’s what Putin is doing to NATO’s Chihuahuas Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania:
NATO’s three Chihuahuas, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, would appear to suffer a serious case of what’s called ‘small dog syndrome’
Small dog. Big mouth. Are our blustery, pint-sized pooches the product of nature, nurture, or a bit of both? Perhaps it’s a genetically ingrained Napolean complex. Or could it be that our pooch has developed Small Dog Syndrome as a result of social experiences and parenting?
Or, perhaps the better question to ask, is this on account of negative social experiences & parenting? Our three Chihuahuas probably have acquired Small Dog Syndrome on account of both.
To begin our analysis, it should be pointed out our three Chihuahuas, that is Lithuania, Latvia & Estonia, were all provinces of Russia to 1918, when the world’s map had been redrawn on account of World War One. Briefly independent, the Soviet Union grabbed them back about the time Josef Stalin became (with good cause) paranoid of NAZI Germany. He wanted to put a buffer between the Germans and St Petersberg (a.k.a. Petrograd & Leningrad, to those who’d not kept up on the changes in our rapidly disintegrating geopolitic.) Meanwhile, NAZI Germany grabbed the three Chihuahuas from the Soviet Union with the design to make them into a part of ‘NeueOstLand.’ The Soviet Union grabbed the Chihuahuas back at the conclusion of the war and then, the Chihuahuas were set free again, when it was Russians had dismantled the Soviet Union.
Now, it stands to reason the three Chihuahuas would not have enjoyed what the Soviet Union became under Stalin, but the same could be said of the Russians who’d dismantled that empire, something the Russian writer Solzhenitsyn had established beyond a doubt. And somehow, possibly because the Chihuahua breed has a skull configuration appearing as though its brain had collapsed from inbreeding, our three Chihuahuas cannot seem to separate out the fact Stalin was a Georgian in their paranoia of Russians and the fact it was Russians had freed them.
“Vilnius: Lithuania on Thursday accused Russia of a military “invasion” of conflict-torn Ukraine and called for a United Nations Security Council meeting over the issue.
“Lithuania strongly condemns the obvious invasion of the territory of Ukraine by the armed forces of the Russian Federation,” the foreign ministry said, adding that the Security Council should address the matter “immediately””
Never mind the CIA, with the complicity of the political party providing the current German chancellor, overthrew an elected government in Ukraine and has supported a post-coup neo-nazi regime in Kiev.
Neo-Nazis march in Lithuania, February 16, 2013 (Dovid Katz photo, Times of Israel)
^ “one of the “heroes” of the marchers whose portrait appeared on a large banner was Juozas Ambrazevicius, the Prime Minister of the Provisional Lithuanian government of June 1941, which fully supported the Third Reich […] in May 2012, his remains were brought back to Lithuania and buried in Kaunas with full national honors, despite his despicable role in Holocaust crimes”
“These sanctions will not be catastrophic for the Latvian economy,” Straujuma said, adding that behind the scenes “Latvia has been working hard to ensure the gas sector is not affected” as Latvia is almost totally reliant on Russia for supplies of natural gas”
Somehow, in Latvia, the folk proverb ‘Don’t bite the hand that feeds you’ got lost in translation, or was just lost. Notice the dent in the skull of the Chihuahua, indicating collapse where the brain should have been. A physiological trait the Latvian government appears to share with Nazis:
“Four Latvian MPs (E. Cilinskis, J. Dombrava, R. Dzintars, I. Parādnieks) attended the Waffen SS fest giving it, in 2014, a flavor of state approval taken in tandem with the gifting of the city center and Liberty Monument area”
Screenshot of the Latvian National-Socialist Party glorifying this annual festival taken down at youtube:
(^ fine print: notice Baltic Nazi sympathies are in line with the Ukrainian Svoboda Party & Right Sector the Russians are taking issue with, Nazis having taken power in Kiev with ample assistance from an ever more aggressive & expanding NATO.)
“Russia has been destabilising Ukraine for too long. By now, terrorists acting in Eastern Ukraine have received added reinforcements in the form of Russian military forces that can clearly be recognised. This is undeclared war”
Sure, it actually is undeclared war, a war began by NATO and the EU undermining Ukraine, empowering neo-nazis, while crapping on its promise to Russia not to expand NATO when the Russians agreed to dismantle the Soviet Union. And speaking of terrorists in Eastern Ukraine, what do you suppose that might have to do with the coup supporters murdering people en mass on multiple occasions? One of those occasions is spoken to by the Estonian foreign minister, captured in a phone call:
Now, why do you suppose the Estonian didn’t go public with this? Because the Estonian government also harbors Nazi sentiment?
”It is really surprising that Estonia has so hysterical reactions in their need [to] support the SS-Waffen celebration. I wrote a RT-column about two weeks ago about these celebrations. And now SS-Waffen celebrations are carried out again in Estonia, but Estonia’s security service wrote the prohibition against me to enter the country. Estonia limits the freedom of journalists to report about the political phenomena, if these journalists don’t work under the service of Estonian security service and their ideology.
”I had a plan to enter to Estonia and write a RT-column about these SS-Waffen celebrations, feelings, symbols, etc. I haven’t ever done any crimes in Estonia (or in other country), I am an EU-citizen. Fortunately, I had planned to travel separately from Finnish friends of mine. If did I travel with them on board, now I would sit in a prison cell, together with Dr. Johan Bäckman.
”Johan Bäckman, an adjunct professor at the Helsinki university, was arrested during last night 30th July although his name was not on any “blacklist”. Bäckman has never done any crime in Estonia. He would have written critically about these Nazi celebrations.
”Petri Krohn, the president of the association Finland without Nazism has also an entry ban for the days of SS-celebrations.”
Now, we’ve established the three Chihuahuas have some common traits, collapsed heads where brain cavity should have existed, related Nazi sympathies & associations, and not least, Small Dog Syndrome, in lay terms known as ‘Yappy Dogs with a Death Wish’
Small Dog Syndrome develops when an owner “protects” their dog from the world. They may not allow their tiny dog to socialize with dogs larger in size for fear they will be hurt. Instead of allowing the dog to play, they sit with him in their lap or race in and swoop up the pup each time a bigger dog comes near. By doing so, they deprive their dog of important socialization with his surroundings and other dogs, creating an aggressive dog that is unsure, fearful, and anxious.
Huh. Sounds like NATO has been an irresponsible parent, protecting our three Chihuahuas from Russia and reality. But you know what? Aggressive behaviors taken together with sympathetic relations towards & support for Nazis in Kiev, considering Russia’s history, could get small dogs penalty-kicked like a football at the poorly defended NATO goal. But hey, with a depression where a brain cavity should exist, what other consequence could one expect for our three Chihuahuas? (goes for a few medium size NATO dogs too, it’s a consequence called ‘fallout’)

The Dawn of Everything by David Graeber & David Wengrow, a Review
The “Dawn of Everything” is a Western anthropological tome that will see few Native American readers outside of that peculiarly Western, politically correct, academic institution euphemistically called ‘Native Studies.’
This book review sets out to challenge what those in academia might not.
What the book got right: Ancient matriarchy was decentralized and (by comparison to patriarchy) non-violent, yet capable of governing large polities. What it may have got wrong about that: the suggestion we can get back to this from where we’re “stuck” for the simple reason today’s patriarchy shapes the mentality of women to point of they’re not really women in any sense of what that had meant prior to the Western mentality’s ego-individuation. [1]
The book is audacious, and in the same moment, pretentious & myopic. The cultural bias is stark; in a presumed self exam of failed assessments by anthropology, in effort to grasp how Western civilization has come to be stuck in a murderous hierarchy of the present day, there is little exploring of the literature exterior to mainstream. Rather this work, although interesting in many respects, uses a deck of old cards to posit an alternative future.
The work credibly sets out to identify commonality in the roots of male hierarchy across the world; with some success in near Asia and Europe would be my presumption (I’m no expert in these areas, probably just a bit better read than your average passing interest) and this was interesting reading (for myself, at least.) Where the book goes off the rails altogether is in the Americas, particularly in North America. What the authors cannot have known (and more than likely their historical sources as well) is, outside of ceremonial context, oral histories are given in euphemisms and figures of speech. The cultural point of this is, is to negate any possibility of drawing the attention of the past into the present in a somewhat literal sense among peoples who saw the power of speech in far greater terms of causality than Westerners.
In fact the abandoned Mississippi River ‘civilization’ of Cahokia was not “erased” from the oral histories, rather some subjects are so sensitive, they were not spoken outside of certain ceremony at all. The example I would give is, in the historic Blackfeet heartland there is a geographic-ceremonial location called “Bear River” whose location is argued over by anthropologists to this day, after two hundred years. The precise location is known to myself, courtesy of an oral historian (an elder woman) in a ceremonial context/relationship.
Of my many years acquaintance with, and interactions in (40+ years), Native American communities, 25 years were more or less immersed (10 of these years were full immersion) with peoples of the native languages of Plains culture, where I had encountered, on numerous occasions, oral historians who fluently spoke Blackfeet (Amskapi Pikuni dialect), Chippewa (Plains Ojibwa), Cree and Metis. Nearly all of their kids spoke only English, reflecting the end of the oral histories era. I witnessed this end of era, at least in the communities I had been familiar with. My understanding is, this is an accelerating process of loss that has been underway for a very long time. In some areas, where the language ‘survives’, it is so modified away from the ancient (original), it would be more than a fair question to ask; would the ancient speakers even recognize the same words use in modern dialect? In languages of what had been observation of process, nouns were nearly unknown. In the ‘new’ dialects, Western thought is encroaching to point an Indian born 200 years past wouldn’t understand what his great, great grandchild is talking about, without some significant difficulty. Nor would the descendant easily grasp this close ancestor’s mental process.
This goes to the book’s sweeping (and absolutely absurd) assertion all languages share the commonality of nouns. This is a serious mistake and a very telling one. To be the ophthalmologist in this case will be take us a bit roundabout but we’ll attempt to arrive at the penetration of this Western cultural bias (ethnocentric myopia) with a gift of sight.
One of the books claims is the absolutely correct thesis Native Americans were a significant source of ideas motivating and moving forward the Enlightenment philosophy. Throwing out the male gender and substituting “The Mystery” for Deism & God (I’ve tinkered with the following passage), the enlightenment thinker Thomas Paine’s description of our existence could have come from the mouth of any Native orator addressing Jesuits:
“The Mystery needs none of those tricks and shows called miracles to confirm our faith, for what can be a greater miracle than the creation itself, and our own existence? There is a happiness in The Mystery, when rightly understood, that is not to be found in your system of religion. The system you describe to us have some things in it that either shock our reason, or are repugnant to us, and we, if we think at all, must stifle our reason in order to force ourselves to believe them. But in The Mystery our reason and our belief become happily united. The wonderful structure of the cosmos, and everything we behold in this system of Mysterious creation, prove to us, better than any book can do, the existence of what cannot be known in its origins, and yet at the same time express its’ attributes. It is by the exercise of our reason that we are enabled to contemplate The Mystery in its’ works, and imitate it in our ways. When we see The Mystery’s care and goodness extended over all the creatures, it teaches us our duty toward each other, whilst it calls forth our gratitude to the whole of it” [2]
The book’s authors altogether miss (or avoid) this (immediate preceding) contribution to enlightenment thinking, rather focusing on personal “liberty.”
I will not argue there was significant contribution of Native American notion of liberty to the Enlightenment; but this contribution is a perverted understanding of Native American individual liberty; sans the crucial aspect of self-restraint (gone missing) in the European semi-grasp of native philosophy.
“thinkers who do seek to knit together the findings of specialists, to describe the course of human history on a grand scale, haven’t entirely got past the biblical notion of the Garden of Eden, the Fall and subsequent inevitability of domination. Blinded by the ‘just so’ story of how human societies evolved, they can’t even see half of what’s now before their eyes”
The authors themselves miss the one half of European thought, that is to say they focus on ‘the fall’ but entirely ignore the other half of it; the out-sized influence of Plato. Where is Plato? Considering their astute observation that modern society is ‘stuck’ in our current predicament, one should consider Plato versus indigenous ‘integration’ to consciousness of their respective cosmos (environment) or objectivity versus theoretical physicist d’Espagnat’s observation consciousness (demonstrated via experiments in quantum mechanics) demands one cannot be separated from environment or surrounding awareness, whether the ‘objects’ of the house you’re in (including the house itself) or a boreal forest or savanna. Here is the glaring omission:
[Plato’s] “The doctrine that the world is made up of objects whose existence is independent of human consciousness turns out to be in conflict with quantum mechanics and with facts established by experiment” -theoretical physicist Bernard d’Espagnat [3]
Plato’s invisibility in the text (but visible in the approach) determines certain conclusions are correctly radical (excellent cultural self-criticism) relating to ‘the fall’ and in a paradox are also quite conservative in Plato’s European tradition and thusly observations in overall context remain highly limited from certain indigenous American view; for the fact their material must be drawn practically 100% from the tradition of Plato’s objectivity, whether ‘mainstream’ archaeology or Western interpretation of indigenous narrative.
The book jumps willy-nilly across the globe, hither & thither and back; when contrasting a presumption of matriarchy; but whether Minoan Crete versus Greece might be cast in the overthrow of the Titans & and the end of Gaia (victors wrote the ugly history of Gaia’s children as monsters) are events which do not enter the picture and it does not occur to the authors to search ‘mythology’ of Western history depicting the overthrow of matriarchy on the European side. Had this found its way into the text it should contrast well to aspect of Native American matriarchy which purpose is the absolute prohibition on the emergence of ego in any form (ego being essentially diagnosed as a mental disorder.) The purpose of the near universal Native American ‘god’ (deliberate small ‘g’), the trickster, is euthanasia of sustained ego or what the Western psychology calls “individuated ego” (better described as ‘ego-priapism’ from the native side.)
The Mississippi River city of Cahokia, and abandoned surroundings, is correctly inferred as a rejection of a philosophy of life but this was not a ‘self-rejection’ of lifestyle by the city’s inhabitants; in fact the oral histories had NOT been silent (the authors’ presumption is “erased” from the oral histories) but in fact Cahokia presumably erased from the oral histories points to the Western anthropological sources ignorance of ceremonial story-telling; you cannot speak of the great evils except under the protection of a ‘shield’ (to prevent notifying or calling forth ‘ghosts’ much effort had been made to banish.)
Cahokia’s founding date coincides with oral histories timeline of an inter-tribal ‘peace chiefs’ alliance establishment; that is when an international warrior/priesthood became emissaries opposed to deviation from the way encountered in cosmology of integration to natural determination as dictated by a greater gnosis of (emanating from) environment, not any individual (and especially ‘ego-individuated’) humans. Cahokia was ‘rubbed out’ quite literally by a far-flung alliance of tribes determined to eradicate a spreading cancer correctly inferred (in the book) as originating in the region of Central America (Blackfeet oral historian Floyd HeavyRunner had narrated to myself it was these peoples had strayed farthest from the “true way.”).
The peace-chiefs’ inter-tribal diplomacy corps were initially formed as a result of determination by surrounding peoples to make Cahokia vanish from the surrounding peoples’ (multiple cosmos) proximity. After, their purpose morphed into that of healer-teachers intended to get the associated, culturally deprived peoples (survivors) back on track in the proper direction.
The Osage descendants of Cahokia having experimented with constitutional reform on multiple occasions simply exhibits a series of fits and starts (basically fumbling) their way towards reintegration to the original indigenous concept of cosmology or becoming integral to a natural order where their place is one of pruning, and away from the destructive nature of plowing (plowing here is certainly not meant to be literal but employed as a metaphor.) In this case, it would have happened the allied peace chiefs had, subsequently, instructed the Osage in recovery of the way or reintegration to a natural order of things; and clearly this ‘peace order’ would have stopped short of explicit instruction of how the Osage should determine their own cosmos arrangement; pointing the way and arrival are distinct things. To point the way in sense of process does not determine outcome at arrival, where each tribe’s adopted (or newly adopted) territory constitutes a cosmos expressing the respective ‘real peoples’ who must establish a niche in peer relationship to the ‘others’ (other manifestations of life) in the natural order of things. The established cosmos must accept the people, i.e. grant permission to occupy the land, the people do not determine this.
In fact one of the arguments dismissed by the authors is nearly spot on:
“If the indigenous peoples of North America aren’t being imagined as living in a separate time, or as vestiges of some earlier stage of human history, then they’re imagined as living in an entirely separate reality (‘ontology’ is the currently fashionable term), a mythic consciousness fundamentally different from our own”
They ‘disprove’ this preceding by pointing to the narrative skills of the indigenous orators in making comparisons to Western thinking; not realizing there was an entirely different ability to think on the indigenous side; an ability to think entirely failed by Western language with no working grasp of an aboriginal system’s vocabulary that compares well to modern quantum reality. The ‘nearly spot on’ (or near miss) is the idea of “mythic consciousness”, this a rank fail. There would be no sense of ‘mythic’ at all in practical application of this ‘other’ way of thinking on the native side; it is scientific, realizable and would be perfectly comprehensible with modern tools of understanding except for the wall of ‘objectivity’ or legacy of Plato:
“…the Diné are just as capable of thinking objectively as Western people and of using their language to make objective statements. However, they are also always aware of “an intrinsic subjective relationship which is not nullified by an objective statement [..] The capacity of intra-subjective knowing is not done unconsciously or automatically, and it does not preclude Western ways of knowing. It is an added capacity of awareness, not a primitive one” [4]
Western anthropology and archaeology would be incapable of grasping this prior to the 20th Century at earliest (with the conceptual vocabulary of quantum mechanics) and have yet but to dance about the edge with radical genius co-opted by none other than Western myth-making; Benjamin Whorf’s ‘linguistic relativity’ as related to David Bohm’s ‘rheomode’ has been hijacked by new age persona and westernized ‘Indian’ novelists. [5], [6], [7]
And there you have the wall… the Western (and ‘westernized’) peoples cannot know what (through language, particularly) they have no capacity to understand. All of the European expectations demanding explanations solely in objective mode from the native side must fail for the fact there is no capacity to grasp the intra-subjective knowing by the (limited to objectivity) ego-individuation structure of the modern European mentality.
Here it should be noted archaic terms like ‘ghosts’ actually refer to ‘energies’ in a sense of string theory (the universe is made up of tiny vibrating strings that resonate; in the native observational sense of a spider’s web) and this is why the idea of archaeology is abhorrent; vibrating past (perverse or deviant, negative) energies into ‘life’ (again) is counter to intelligent outcomes & positive present and future. Digging things up is tantamount to causing wounds in time and allowing the past to bleed into the present.
Certain, specific ceremony (sometimes using relics), on the other hand, is a safe means of traversing time that doesn’t disturb (when properly functioning) those many phenomena best left alone when/while in pursuit of cultural continuity. [8]
At the end of the day, ‘The Enlightenment’ got 1/2 the picture of Native American liberty; missing altogether is the individual self-restraint demanded by these native nations’ original understanding; the fact they merely occupied a niche integrated into a cosmos demanding a sentient-aware natural environment is constructed to include what should be seen as environment integrated to peers (in effect, everything else) might be gardened but never dominated. European folk traditions of terror notwithstanding, let’s not forget wolves live in a practical matriarchy whose purpose is to prune, not plow. The land was not ‘communally owned’ at all except that one were to include the practical grasp of native science indicating ‘the whole of it owns itself’ supporting d’Espagnat’s assertion opposing Plato’s doctrine:
“The knowledge and use of any or all the powers of the objects on Earth around us, is as liable to lead a man wrong as to lead him right, because it is merely power, with no way of knowing how to use it correctly- except that spirit is with a man’s spirit for the light” -Red Tomahawk, Sioux (1918.) [9]
Red Tomahawk’s ‘spirit’ (relates to “naaks” in Blackfeet) is the sentient awareness of collective creation, our very surroundings are intelligent expression integrated via consciousness to nature, or one might say (in Western terms) omnipresent god. When he says ‘spirit is with a man’s spirit’ (for the light), we are looking at what d’Espagnat stumbles upon nearly 100 years later; recognizing an innate consciousness embodied in our surroundings plays in everything we can experience. Moreover, Red Tomahawk is discriminating between a sole, intimate knowledge of any single object’s raw power, and an understanding of the larger purpose concerning the nature of that very object, recognizing these are distinct things. His understanding (different to the European concept) opens to the possibility of allowing for the trees, stones, or for that matter (again), everything surrounding us, to possess consciousness and to ‘know’ purpose exterior to the European self-centered or ‘individual’ cultural shaping and resultant ‘imperative’ perception. It is only when the ego-individuated concept of the European mentality is overthrown will this larger Native door of understanding be opened, where we can know how to listen, to intelligently ‘see’ our way through the intra-dimensional nature of our existence. In retrospect, who are the primitives? The tribal people? Or the people who, if they were to work out honest equation, must discover their ‘advancement’ & ‘progress’ via method of sustained development exploiting, desecrating one could say, the omnipresence of what amounts to the living mystery expressing us through creation, must point to our ceasing to exist and nullify awareness? Jesus admonished “Know you not you are gods?” What sort of gods should we propose to be? Those who put creation to death through the arrogance of the individuated ego? That would be the effect of sustained development, globalism, the international oligarchs’ and not least, the Western science enabling it all, a cancer (a larger concept of empire) on the very expression sustaining us. The authors of “The Dawn of Everything put their toe in the water here, and as Westerners, deserve great credit for that, but they haven’t yet learned how to swim. Plato’s objectivity is the problem. As a matter of fact, for the simple phenomenon of the missing “intra-subjective knowing” capacity, the Europeans could not have accurately reported on Native mental process, not yesteryear or now.
Insofar as the authors’ conclusion:
“Nor does our evidence support the notion that major innovations always occur in sudden, revolutionary bursts, transforming everything in their wake”
Setting aside the word “always” one would think the atom bomb & internet might have been given at least a small paragraph … and it is in this regard we’ll step outside of the mainstream of anthropology to (briefly, I promise) explore just a few of those ‘explosive’ possibilities, while noting ‘ideas’ can be infectious like disease, in our conclusion.
I will quote here the oral historian (speaker of Blackfeet ancient dialect) Floyd HeavyRunner “We know who [plural, multiple parties] arrived by sea, when they came, and who was already here when we arrived.” Considering Blackfoot oral history extends back in time to migrating with mammoth herds in the south of North America prior to the ice sheet retreat, we’ll put the Blackfeet precursor people in South America before that:
“When North America was an ice-age tundra, the first Americans were “cooking” their cultures in the tropical south, moving northward and settling as the glaciers retreated, according to new linguistic evidence from indigenous languages throughout the New World.
“The evidence suggests that humans have been in the Americas for a very long time, perhaps 40,000 years. It also suggests that most native American languages derived from Ice Age inhabitants who were isolated in the Western Hemisphere for many millennia.
“Only along the west coast do languages appear to come from immigrants who arrived after the Ice Age 14,000 years ago, a Berkeley linguist reports” [10]
Think that’s far-fetched? Then try this next, where a 2019 DNA analysis pins the Blackfeet journey as plausibly located in the region of Arizona 17,000 years ago, on what could only be on a long-term journey towards the north:
[Blackfeet tribal member] “Crawford’s DNA story suggests his ancestors came from the Pacific, traveled to the coast of South America and traveled north […] The DNA group’s closest relatives outside the Americas are in Southeast Asia […] Its path from the Americas is somewhat of a mystery as there are no frequencies of the haplogroup in either Alaska or Canada” [11]
Yeah, a mystery so long as denial of perfectly plausible 40,000 years past voyages by sea persist. It should be noted here that Floyd maintained people were already here when the remote ancestor (long before mega-fauna extinction) Blackfeet precursor people arrived by sea.
Moving on…
“I saw in this land an Indian woman and a child who would not stand out among white blonds. These people [of the upper class] say that they were the children of the idols” [gods] – Pedro Pizarro, chronicler of the Spanish conquest of Peru
“The remarks made by Pizarro as to the skin-colour of the Peruvians are very important and, probably, truthful. Today one finds people who claim to be pure Indian in blood who are very light in colour, but it is not possible to be sure that they have not some white blood” [12]
The ‘culture zones’ miss (entirely) plausibility of different cultural origins from abroad i.e. 40,000 vs 13,000 years, intervals between, and more recent pre-Columbian arrivals (other than Viking) from both West & East.
Was there a lost boatload of Phoenicians in Brazil? It’s possible. [13]
And what about that sunken load of Roman amphora found in a bay in Brazil? [14]
Did the Olmec begin at the site of a seafaring landfall? It’s a fair question. As the ‘cradle of Meso-American civilization’ was the Toltec, Inca, Maya and Aztec ‘cultural ancestry’ handed down from the Olmec? There’s a likely source of the ‘misdirection of spirit’ ultimately expressed in Cahokia
On the other coast (Peru) we have the knotted string records system of Polynesia (and China before that.) [15]
On the other hand, Tlaxcala (the Cortez allied city mentioned by the authors) exhibits a deliberative council no more or less remarkable than the original indigenous councils of numerous tribes from the Rocky Mountain Front to the Atlantic seaboard and the Canadian woodlands to the present day northern Mexico. Nothing unusual there (except for the authors wondering at it located in a Meso-American city.)
Back in the Pacific Northwest of North America, just suppose the coast Indians are a culturally Polynesian precursor people. That would explain a LOT about a group of late arrivals (by North American oral history timelines) who differ radically from the inland groups. Did they bring the identical mathematical principles of oracle shared by the Western tribes’ Native American stick game & the I Ching of China? [16], [17]
Moving on again […] well, actually, what could go on and on is already enough. Now, finally closing this out, close your eyes and listen to a music composition from a West Papua Melanesian people and hear something identical to what you’d expect to be a ceremonial sound experience on the plains of North America:
[2] Unmodified Paine quote: “The Deist needs none of those tricks and shows called miracles to confirm his faith, for what can be a greater miracle than the creation itself, and his own existence? There is a happiness in Deism, when rightly understood, that is not to be found in any other system of religion. All other systems have something in them that either shock our reason, or are repugnant to it, and man, if he thinks at all, must stifle his reason in order to force himself to believe them. But in Deism our reason and our belief become happily united. The wonderful structure of the universe, and everything we behold in the system of the creation, prove to us, far better than books can do, the existence of a God, and at the same time proclaim His attributes. It is by the exercise of our reason that we are enabled to contemplate God in His works, and imitate Him in His ways. When we see His care and goodness extended over all His creatures, it teaches us our duty toward each other, while it calls forth our gratitude to Him”
