VLADIMIR PUTIN IS NOT NEVILLE CHAMBERLAIN. AND I AM NOT POLLYANNA. By Russell Bentley

I say old chap, is this Minsk or Munich?

The curse of Cassandra was that she could see the future, and tell it, but no one would listen to her. These days, I think I know how she must have felt. But above the din of jabbering jackanapes, pontificating poltroons and pseudo-experts, the truth can still be heard, if you listen for it. So, listen.

Once again, Casandra is reviled, and Pollyannas rule the day. One purports to tell us that he knows “What Putin Wants” – “a peaceful transition”. Another, in spite of all the evidence, says Russia’s absolutely irrefutable ability to liberate Ukraine is “A Fiction”, and yet another, pinching “Half a Loaf” smugly and stupidly claims that those like myself, who would rather see a short, comparatively bloodless war, even if it’s on our own land, instead of one that can easily spread into Europa and even across the Atlantic, actually “predict (and are actually hoping for) the worst.” Well, here’s my actual prediction and the hope of every decent and literate human being on this planet. Listen.

“Stop hoping for the worst! Let’s all have a nice cup of tea”

What I actually do predict, and do very much hope for, is a limited and localized Russian surgical military strike in Ukraine. One that will remove the existential threat right on Russia’s doorstep, a threat not only to Russia, but to the very future of Humanity. A strike which will achieve all the strategic goals delineated by Russia in their recent collective security proposals to the US and NATO, (which US/NATO refused) while also saving tens or hundred of thousands of civilians in Donbass (including myself and my family) from genocide, and liberating Ukraine from foreign occupation and neo-nazi oppression. All with the absolute minimum possible destruction and bloodshed of civilians and soldiers (on BOTH sides) alike. As well as, and most importantly, the least likelihood of escalation anywhere beyond Ukraine’s present borders. These Pollyannas think that’s “the worst”? Well, Cassandra has a question for them…

CASSANDRA – “Do you prefer your whole country be vaporized while you sing Kumbaya”?

These self-styled pundits say that Russia should simply ignore the plethora of concrete evidence of imminent war, and waste time holding further diplomatic meetings with the same nazis who have threatened their very existence for a century, who have murdered civilians in Donbass for the last 8 years, including the 298 civilians on MH-17, (and then falsely blamed and sanctioned Russia for it) the same ones who directed ISIS cannibals to commit the false flag mass murders in Syria to create a Syrian “chemical weapons” narrative, then used the same bogus line in the UK with the laughable “Novichuk” fabrications. “Yes,” they say, “if only Russia can just sit down in friendly dialogue with their mortal enemies once again, then perhaps a “peaceful transition” may someday be achieved. We can only hope, peacefully praying and gently swaying, all holding hands together while we all sing Kumbaya.”

Kumbaya my Lord, Kumbaya… – Sing Hosanna – Kumbaya Bible Songs for Kids –

RAEVSKY, WHITNEY AND McGOVERN’S LATEST POLITICAL DISCOURSE

This is literally what they are saying, in the face of a real life and imminent Armageddon. And like Neville Chamberlain, they advocate compromise with abject Evil, in the vain hope of “peace in our time.” All while these same US/NATO nazis continue to prepare and provoke Ukraine to war, to cross Russia’s red lines of no attack on Donbass, and no offensive missiles in Eastern Europe, bringing in weapons and ammo at a rate of over 100 tons per day. Talk about “the worst” – nothing could be more fatally stupid, or more contemptible, craven and myopic. Or more certain to lead to a global conflagration, just as the appeasement of the obeisant English toady Chamberlain did only 84 years ago. Well, thanks be to God, Putin is not Chamberlain, and I am not Pollyanna.

Thomas Paine once wrote about such things, and I quote, “I once felt all that kind of anger, which a man ought to feel, against the mean principles that are held by the Tories: a noted one, who kept a tavern at Amboy, was standing at his door, with as pretty a child in his hand, about eight or nine years old, as I ever saw, and after speaking his mind as freely as he thought was prudent, finished with this unfatherly expression, “Well! Give me peace in my day.” Not a man lives on the continent but fully believes that a confrontation must some time or other finally take place, and a generous parent should have said, “If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace;” and this single reflection, well applied, is sufficient to awaken every man to his duty.” I feel that anger too. And it awakens me to my duty, and it shows me the true worth, or rather, worthlessness, of all the boot-licking cowards and historically illiterate Pollyannas who advocate begging for peace at any price. Let them keep begging, and see where it gets them. Perhaps work really will make them free this time. But we Russians, and all intelligent people, do not forget their history so easily.

Not a man or woman lives in the Donbass Republics, in Russia or Ukraine, who does not know that this war will not end without a final battle. This battle is as inevitable as the sunrise. Only fools and Pollyannas could think it would be otherwise. So, better to make it soon, short, and final, a lesson to the world, and a page in history, where the Good Guys win again, just like they did in 1945. The only other alternative is to wait, to allow the Ukronazi infection to suppurate, and become more dangerous, adding more cost, more blood, more destroyed infrastructure and wasted treasure, before the final and inevitable victory of Russia and the Donbass Republics, or perhaps leading to a war that will engulf the world, a war that no one will win.

RUSSIA – “Those who fail to learn from history will have to repeat the lesson. Russia has learned the lesson. If it must be taught again, we will teach it”

No competent or qualified person can still continue to believe in, much less continue to talk about or advocate, a “peaceful transition” or “diplomatic solution”. Of course, Putin preferred a peaceful solution. He is a most excellent Warrior and would win without fighting if it were possible in any way. That was “Plan A”, and he tried for 8 years to implement it, with almost infinite patience and forbearance, by every means possible. That is why he gave the US, NATO and OSCE a final chance to make one. But they categorically refused, so there is none, and there will be none. It is simply no longer a realistic option. If it ever was…

So, now to “Plan B”. Russia prefers a quick and decisive liberation of Ukraine over a potential world war, and has every right and every reason, and above all, the ability to make it happen. And, believe me, we will. At the next provocation. It will be up to the USA and NATO to decide if they will also escalate and engage in a war that will most certainly lead to their total dismemberment and defeat. Russia is ready for any scenario, and we will deal with it however it may be needed. And Vae victis – “Woe to the vanquished.” Now, are you listening?

I predict, with 90% certainty, that a major ukrop attack or provocation will occur before the beginning of March, and with 99% certainty before the end of March. I can say, based on impeccable sources and irrefutable evidence, that the plans and preparations for provocations and a major attack against Donbass have already been made. The ukrops and their US masters may chicken out, as they have many times over the last few years. But Russia is not a Pollyanna, not stupid enough to keep playing waiting games while their enemies build lethal force every day. Those who predict or advocate further diplomacy are fools. That Russia seems to do so is only deception and distraction. The fuse is already lit, on both sides, the detonation will occur, one way or the other, before the end of March, and maybe much sooner.

And when it does, I can assure you that the Russian response will be swift and sure, measured in minutes and (very few) hours, not days, or even one day. And Russia will not arrive (initially) on tanks and trucks, but on wings. For us in Donbass, the wings of Angels, for the nazis and terrorists who dare to attack us, the wings of instant and fiery death. Those who have failed to learn the lessons of Debaltsevo and Ilovaisk will be taught a final lesson with thunder and steel, and they will not live long enough to never forget it. They have all been warned for the last time already. The time for talking is over and done. It is time for work, Brothers. The job will not be easy, but it is simple enough. Who attacks Donbass, attacks Russia. Who attacks Russia will be vanquished. This is a warning. Listen. While you still can.

From December 2021 into January 2022, the propaganda prigs have been busy on all surfaces of the geopolitical dodecahedron. There’s no chance getting through the whole of it (not even close) but we can peek at the psyops, manipulation of otherwise intelligent people and the artificially created, deceptive incentives to infighting and destabilizing one’s enemies in a few ways almost no one else will look at.

File:Tetartoid perspective.gif

One would like to see through the whole of it but the picture is so mixed, it defies short description. What in fact seems to be emerging is, when the forces of evil battle each other, it is not something a positive spin can be put on for the simple fact the collateral damage is immense; but we can begin with Russia and the Russian propaganda prigs employing ignorant Americans to propagandize ignorant Americans, that is Ted Rall whose understanding of the USA’s constitutional history is only matched by the ugliness of Rall’s cartoon characters:

“From the electoral college to gun rights to the hilariously archaic right to refuse to quarter troops in your home and the $20 threshold for a civil jury trial, the US Constitution contains many head-scratching relics of an America we wouldn’t recognize. Living in the age of the musket, James Madison might not be so quick to argue for legalizing the AR-15, assuming that a well-regulated state militia was still a thing.

“A work of genius the US Constitution is not. It is almost impossible to amend—it is in fact the hardest to amend in the world. The immutability of the document is highlighted by the inability of the world’s most powerful democracy to enshrine a right as basic as gender equality, a principle that the vast majority of other countries, even dictatorships and authoritarian regimes, have managed to include (at least in theory) in their founding charters” [1]

Going to Rall’s mangled context of the word “state” in Rall’s 1st paragraph, the 2nd Amendment’s “A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state” is used (as it was meant to be used), at the time of it’s writing, in a singular, greater sense of ‘nation’ as the term ‘state’ is commonly known and used in international relations to this day. This has little to do with any state militia except to put a check on those as well, when the constitutional provision was made to arm the American people. [2]

The 2nd amendment plays big in the propaganda wars, as even sane American conservatives think it is a ‘god given right’ as opposed to the anti-federalists intending it as a check on the very sort of people manipulating today’s outcomes, that is Trump & his religious fanatic allies on the one side and the ‘liberal’ opposition on the other as “American Gladio” falsely convinces liberals all ‘gun rights nuts’ are murderous sociopaths. [3]

If the anti-federalists’ 2nd Amendment had been employed honestly (original intent), we’d be a decentralized nation of stable communities where only permanent community residents in good standing (upright citizens used to be the term) owned the military grade small arms and controlled the keys to the armory where the tanks are parked. There’d be no way we’d be bleeding the common taxpayer into an impossible to solve national debt problem for purpose of supplying truly lethal arms to the world and fanning the aggression demanding immense munitions expenditures (our ‘liberals’ are co-equal or worse offenders) enriching the military industrial complex. Mom & pop businesses would still flourish and a tap you bought for home installation, either in the 1930s or today, would still be working after 100 years.

CORRUPTION is the big alienating factor that in the end frightens people when it is the corrupt spinning the news (corporate owned press, journalism  these days is more concerned with job security than deeply delving into reporting on the hand that feeds them, includes ‘journalists’ like Rall working for state owned propaganda machines.) Then there’s the liberal element in power trying to jam their values down everyone’s throat, that radicalizes even the conservatives who aren’t religious nuts, which plays into a feedback loop generating more extreme hype on both sides.

This corruption consumed the American  constitution from our republic’s inception; to understand the argument between the Federalists and anti-Federalists was never solved, but the Federalists (essentially today’s corporate America) have played dirty ever since, one only need examine the history of the 11th Amendment and the associated, suspect, idea the USA has rightfully asserted the doctrine of Sovereign Immunity:

The Judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States by Citizens of another State, or by Citizens or Subjects of any Foreign State. -11th Amendment
What had happened here, is a contractor from South Carolina was owed a Revolutionary War debt by the State of Georgia, which didn’t want to pay up. The Supreme Court had ruled there was no such thing as state sovereign immunity, in the case of Chisholm v Georgia.

“Chisholm v. Georgia, 2 U.S. (2 Dall.) 419 (1793), is considered the first United States Supreme Court case of significance and impact. Since the case was argued prior to the establishment of judicial review by Marbury v. Madison (1803), there was little available legal precedent (particularly in U.S. law). The Court, in a 4-1 decision, ruled in favor of Alexander Chisholm, a citizen of South Carolina, stating that states did not enjoy sovereign immunity from suits made by citizens of other states in federal court” [4]

Nearly all of the states freaked out at the prospect of having to pay up on their war debts and the 11th Amendment was passed, posthaste:

“To this day, Chisholm stands as one of only a handful of Supreme Court rulings that have been overturned by constitutional amendment. Even more important, the Supreme Court has built on the repudiation of Chisholm to hold that the Eleventh Amendment exemplifies a sovereign-immunity principle that sweeps well beyond the amendment’s text” [5]

And just like that, two immediate and a third, remarkable things happened;

1) Although the 11th Amendment is specific and narrow, and doesn’t so much as mention Sovereign Immunity, the legendary English Common Law expert William Blackstone’s Sovereign Immunity doctrine is reinstated in the former colonies: “The King moreover is not only incapable of doing wrong, but even of thinking wrong; he can never mean to do an improper thing: in him is no folly or weakness.” Only now, suddenly it is no longer the ‘King’ can act with impunity, but the institutions of government in the newly formed United States.

2) With the passing of the 11th Amendment by the several states’ legislators, all of the lawsuits pending in federal court per state war debts had been erased, and half the language of Article One, Section Nine, of the Constitution had been tossed into the ash bin: “No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.” Thomas Jefferson indicated this language had been meant to cover both criminal and civil circumstance of law, and the constitutional language supports this assertion by Jefferson; ‘Bill of Attainder’ should refer to criminal, and ‘ex post facto’ should refer to civil liabilities. In other words, the USA should not have been allowed to make law, criminalizing or creating liability, or excusing crime and liability, after the fact, to get the outcome it wants. The 11th Amendment neither mentions nor lifts this other constitutional provision. But now, civil ex post facto law happens frequently, such as Congress ‘forgiving’ the telecom companies illegally spying on Americans, erasing liability and robbing citizens of their day in court.

3) The third thing to happen was, as late as 1991, in Blatchford v. Native Village of Noatak, the Supreme Court wrote:

“we have understood the Eleventh Amendment to stand not so much for what it says, but for the presupposition of our constitutional structure which it confirms: that the States entered the federal feudal system with their sovereignty intact, that the judicial authority in Article III is limited by this sovereignty, and that a State will therefore not be subject to suit in federal court unless it has consented to suit, either expressly or in the “plan of the convention” [my correction of SCOTUS language in bold]

And there you have it, from the early days of the Supreme Court saying Sovereign Immunity is a non existent thing in immediate post colonial USA law, to the several states’ legislatures passing the 11th Amendment which doesn’t so much as mention Sovereign Immunity, to escape war debt, to the modern Supreme Court stating the language of our constitution’s 11th Amendment doesn’t mean what it actually says, but instead means what they want it to say, essentially stating ‘we’ll extend ‘the King’s prerogative‘ as far as we please, and we’ll use the 11th Amendment to absurdly assert what amounts to a claim the King’s Sovereign Immunity (impunity) was never a point of the American Revolution.’

Here’s the simple math: From King George III was our ‘sovereign’ entitled to immunity (amounting to impunity), to ‘the people’ are sovereign, to politicians claiming they hold the people’s sovereignty (amounting to impunity), to judges appointed by those very politicians upholding this political theft of our freedoms, to the oath to uphold our constitution becoming patently meaningless, even especially when cases come before the courts. [6]

It is in the light of this preceding we can examine (shortly) Rall’s “hilariously” ignorant idea (his second paragraph quoted at the beginning of this article) there is no existing means of enforcing gender equality in our constitution as written. In fact, with the enfranchisement of women (right to vote) via the 19th Amendment, the constitution’s “Equal Protection” of the law should have served as basis for enforcing gender equality. But what is it Rall (and liberals generally) don’t want to be honest about? If THERE WERE gender equality, in a context of ‘equal protection of the law’, women would be subject to military conscription, not only men. People like Rall will never pull that argument (together with their heads) out of where the sun never shines in their small understanding of the difficulties attending social evolution, probably because they fear losing it.

Insofar as Rall asserting the USA constitution “a work of genius it is not” should recall the same people (the anti-federalists which, as a popular movement, ratified the ‘Bill of Rights’ from New Hampshire to Georgia) who wrote the 2nd Amendment also wrote the 4th amendment concerning privacy in one’s papers, a given example of motivation in the anti-federalists’ actual intentions. As well, other rights, for instance prohibition of a bill of attainder, prevention of (warrantless) unreasonable searches & seizures and the right to confront your accuser. To name but a few provisions of the first through eighth amendments authored by the anti-federalists.

If our “Bill of Rights” had been insisted upon by anti-federalists (James Madison was the compromise proxy author), and it most certainly was, the entire world is indebted to our ‘hilariously archaic’ constitution for the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights inspired by the American Bill of Rights and certain of its provisions. The 2nd Amendment’s  original intent had been to secure these rights against the state. Well, it didn’t work out as planned because of the Federalist heirs’ dirty play, related dirty propaganda, that, and a self-righteous, arrogant ignorance coupled with moral turpitude & ethical cowardice across all sectors of society. To be honest, humankind is not yet evolved to point of functioning within a democracy. Rall actually seems to believe the other Western democracies, such as Germany, have functioning constitutions because they can be easily amended. Square that with the reality of German politics and its role in imperialism within today’s European Union; the best joke (cartoon in reality) a cynic could dream up: 1) Merkel goes out with a torch-lit parade featuring military sporting Nazi era helmets and music by the lover of an SS criminal executed for war crimes and gets a standing ovation at the Reichstag a day or so later, all a good match for certain NATO aggressive states’ political behaviors embedded in the European Union. [7], [8], [9]

So, going to the history of judicial corruption in the dirty play of the modern Federalists (today’s corporate America, spanning the political spectrum from Chevron’s Condoleezza Rice to Microsoft’s Bill Gates), we can wrap up this ‘Rall Constitutional Vivisection’ with the doctrine of “Strict Scrutiny” which was the WWII era invention of the USA Supreme Court that crucified the anti-federalist personal freedom protections when the new doctrine was employed to over-ride fundamental rights to secure a Federalist ‘compelling state interest’ (includes ‘sovereign immunity’ from suit and suspension of habeas corpus) with the internment of the USA’s Japanese-American population across the board. That was more than a simple prescience constituting a precedent, it was the judicial power grab that prepared the USA for the so-called ‘National Security Act of 1947’, authorizing creation of the CIA, led to the secret FISA court, unaccountable instigation of color revolutions, creation of al Qaida et al, leading ultimately to the so-called ‘Patriot Act’ (and too many more constitutional vulgarities to mention here), and the only thing ‘secured’ was extra-constitutional color of law authorizing empire and the resultant corporate state bringing the USA to ruin. [10]

Meanwhile, let’s do a bit of asymmetrical percentages; you leave both sides responsibility out of your studies and only point the finger at the one side, the left is going to get the right about 50% correct in its complicity and the right is going to get the left about 50% correct in its complicity. The two missing portions equaling 50% each is the 100% complicity both sides share in sending our small world ‘to hell in a hand basket.’

This academic clown correctly points to the USA sliding towards a 2nd civil war and fascist dictatorship but places disproportionate blame on a dead clown:

“But one can’t blame only Mr. Limbaugh, who died in early 2021, and his ilk for America’s dysfunction. These people and their actions are as much symptoms of that dysfunction as its root causes, and those causes are many. Some can be traced to the country’s founding – to an abiding distrust in government baked into the country’s political culture during the Revolution, to slavery, to the political compromise of the Electoral College that slavery spawned, to the over-representation of rural voting power in the Senate, and to the failure of Reconstruction after the Civil War. But successful polities around the world have overcome flaws just as fundamental” [11], [12]

Furthermore, in the  article, if Tucker Carlson is also to blame for the right’s misinformation, how is it the left’s constitutional attorney Glenn Greenwald frequents his show to discuss these matters of our vanishing personal liberties under the Biden administration, and Trump & Obama before that?

A mini rewrite of what seems basically the same material predicting a 2nd civil war in the USA is hosted at the Guardian and this snippet is not far off the mark:

[Fundamentalist Christian leadership of] “The right has recognized that the system is in collapse, and it has a plan: violence and solidarity with treasonous far-right factions” [13]

Both ignore the perfectly plausible ‘sane’ conservative assessment that, were it ‘antifa’ had ‘stormed’ the capitol on 6 January 2021, you wouldn’t see the intact historical decor in the photos of that event, you’d see the flames that had burned that building out. How is it the Capitol rioters are ‘insurrectionists’ & ‘domestic terrorists’ and the antifa rioters who burned Portland for 100 straight days are not? And both authors are ignorant of the corrupt process in the USA’s constitutional history; leading not only to GW Bush and Dick Cheney, but their co-equal criminal actors Barack Obama and Joe Biden, color revolution perpetrators, war mongers and corporate empire prostitutes, the lot of them.

Let’s (just briefly) back up to “But successful polities around the world have overcome flaws just as fundamental” and ask, ‘Oh yeah, and what’s with those covid lock-down riots across the European Union?’ Oh, that’s right, the Federalist empire’s corporate media doesn’t have an easy spin for that. Must be some imperfection having to do with protecting allies in the West’s empire projects and “Liberal Democracy in Europe.” [14], [15]

At the end of the day, the common sense right invites the left to talk our problems out but nowhere in leadership on the left is there anyone to communicate with…

“Trump supporters were led down some rabbit holes. But they are absolutely right that the institutions and power centers of this country have been monopolized by a Regime that believes they are beneath representation, and will observe no limits to prevent them getting it. I encourage people on the Left to recognize the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in front of them. You’re not going to agree with the conservatives on everything. But if in 2004 I had told you that the majority of the GOP voter base would soon be seeing the folly of the Iraq War, becoming skeptical of state surveillance, and beginning to see the need for action to help the poor and working classes, you’d have told me such a thing would transform the country. Take the opportunity. These people are not demons, and they are ready to listen in a way they haven’t in a long, long time” [16]

…no differently were the sinking, working class right to cross the boundaries created by history exploited in the propaganda hype, there is no one in the right’s leadership to talk the tensions down and pursue some common sense communications:

“Maybe, just maybe, whitey, y’all should look at setting some history aside and begin negotiating some détente and political alliances with black people in the lower middle class communities you should be grateful hadn’t adopted the attitude of ‘the only good cracker is a dead cracker.’ From there alliances might be bridged deeper into those ghettos with a seething anger at what had happened to them and what is now happening to you. Nobody has to be in love, only reasoned, civil and fair” [17]

Question for Russian intelligence: Has anyone informed Putin ivermectin crushes covid? Or is the Russian estate determined Putin will join the roll call of prostitutes history will be unforgiving towards as Russia squeezes down on its populace with mandatory, “gene therapy” vaccination and the related erasure of personal liberties? So, does Big Pharma own you too? Our ‘Dr Mengele’s’ name is Fauci. Who is yours? [18]

Factoid: The covid virus is 1,000 times smaller than the pores in the masks you breathe through. Do ‘mask mandates’ say anything to anyone concerning psychological operations pointing people away from securing so-called ‘personal liberties?’ [19]

2019 had been unremarkable for the fact of pervasive political lying continues to unfold as though there could never be any ‘awakening’ (nothing changes.) The CIA initiated Mueller ‘special counsel’ caper pits one set of liars off another set of liars as though truth were anti-evolutionary in the American political construct. The sad fact is, that’s the truth of the matter; political lies have been part and parcel of the American social construct since the beginning, recalling Thomas Paine:

“It is impossible to calculate the moral mischief, if I may so express it, that mental lying has produced in society. When a man has so far corrupted and prostituted the chastity of his mind, as to subscribe his professional belief to things he does not believe, he has prepared himself for the commission of every other crime”

Try as one might, there is no better description of Congress on either side of the aisle to be found by this reporter in Congress’ ongoing provocations of Russia. Congress is the abscess at the center of the infection, it matters not where the infection began; it is the Congress appropriates the money applied to the insanity of it all. Whether the information operations (PsyOps) demonizing Russia, the intelligence agencies related lying through their teeth about the disposition of certain events having to do with USA elections, or the Pentagon painting a dire picture of an ‘aggressive Russia’ requiring historic outlay of money (even as the USA military muppet NATO has marched itself to Russia’s borders, deploys permanent bases and engages in offensive war games), and, of course, military industrial lobbyists providing what can only be described as a kickback when one recalls it is prior appropriations is the source of the money that corporations return to Congress. In other words, prior contracts awarded on a profit basis are what enable corporations to send lobbyists to convince future Pentagon contracts should be awarded in what amounts to a ‘wine & dine’ feeding frenzy of cannibal maggots [1]

2018_lobbyist_$ - 1

Congress appropriates, Pentagon awards, corporate profits fund lobbyists in endless cycle. What is remarkable is how cheaply our congressmen are bought; considering the outlay in lobbyist money compared to the amount of maggot infested ‘bacon’ returned:

“Major components of the NDAA [National Defense Authorization Act] were a $635 billion allocation for Department of Defense and Department of Energy national security programs, $71.5 billion for overseas contingency operations (OCO, or fighting in foreign wars) and $5.3 billion to repair damage caused by extreme weather and natural disasters. The Defense Department’s full fiscal year 2020 budget totals $738 billion, an increase of $22 billion ($3.1%) year over year” [2]

Creating boogeymen is essential to keep this cycle alive. In this case, the NDAA also pumping 300 million for Ukraine’s military into this following legacy that had finally devolved to alliance with the Nazi’s in WWII (Stephan Bandera’s SS Galician Nazi army division) eventually leading to these same Nazis taking control of Ukraine in 2014 is not going to be appreciated by the Russians:

“The aim of the Austrian [Austro-Hungarian Empire’s] policy was to forever sever the internal ties between the Rusyn elite and the common Russian culture. For this purpose, for more than half a century considerable funds from the State budget were constantly allocated for printing publications preaching hatred towards Russia and artificially created Ukrainian nationalism. Not only national teachers, but also all the representatives of the intellectuals who were in direct contact with the population: doctors, agronomists, veterinarians, and others, were taught in the anti-Russian spirit using State grants.

“The refusal of the Russian self-identification became an obligatory condition for acceptance for public service, which also included educational institutions of all levels – from elementary schools to universities. And the fight against “Moscowphiles” was set as the main task for all the numerous Austrian State apparatus in Galicia” [today’s Western Ukraine] [3], [4]

And so it is, the USA Congress’ NDAA for 2020 includes pumping 300 million into exploiting a 200 years ongoing effort of Western empire, over several incarnations, to create instability, hostility and Russophobe enemies within Russia’s Western border regions, through the purposeful alienation of what had been Russia’s common cultural entities, and this is construed to be “countering Russian aggression.”

This incredible deceit or ‘subscribing professional belief to things he does not believe’ must, of course, be attended by information operations constituting what is in fact a manifestation of ‘the commission of every other crime.”

In this regard we enter 2020 with the ‘impeachment’ drama manifesting liars in every direction one looks, there is no single clean avenue to be found, whether in America’s Democrats, Republicans, mainstream or alternative media, the related EU & NATO nations’ political and information organs or ‘adversarial’ Russia itself. Of the more lying circumstance than this writer cares to note here, one circumstance is selected to illustrate an aggregate deceit of monstrous proportion, the impeachment relationship to the Russian ‘hack’ of the 2016 election.

“who was at worst a Russian spy and at best a Russian stooge” ? [5]

As things turn out (in what can only be a damage control scramble), Carter Page was actually a CIA asset framed by an FBI lawyer, Kevin Clinesmith, when the FBI’s ‘Russiagate’ star chamber applied for FISA Court rubber stamp on a secret spying warrant. IF one CAN believe that, on its’ face it would seem the FBI screwed a CIA attempt to use the Trump campaign to penetrate the Kremlin, the complete reverse of Russians using the Trump campaign’s ‘collusion’ to penetrate the USA political establishment. Oh my.

It was only two short years previous, ‘Shifty Schiff’ (based on the so-called ‘Steele Dossier’) had demanded to know whether Page had met with “Kremlin linked professor” Joseph Mifsud and that’s where things get interesting. [6]

Joseph Mifsud’s lawyer has stated Misfud “was being directed, had long worked for Western intelligence, that he was being directed specifically, that he was asked to connect George Papadopoulos to Russia, meaning it was an operation, some form of an intelligence operation. That was his lawyer’s own words for this. If that’s the case, it means the flashpoint for starting this whole investigation was in fact manufactured from the beginning” [7]

The choice of words “western intelligence” is a little ambiguous but considering the ‘Steele Dossier’ had been ‘made in UK’, moving just a bit further on, it is clearly Her Majesty’s boogers are to be found in this recipe of ‘spook soup.’

“Over the last few months, Professor Joseph Mifsud has become a feather in the cap for those pushing the Trump-Russia narrative. He is characterized as a “Russian” intelligence asset in mainstream press, despite his declarations to the contrary. However, evidence has surfaced that suggests Mifsud was anything but a Russian spy, and may have actually worked for British intelligence. This new evidence culminates in the ground-breaking conclusion that the UK and its intelligence apparatus may be responsible for the invention of key pillars of the Trump-Russia scandal” [8]

So, we have  a second one hundred eighty degrees reversal, following on Carter Page had been a CIA (not Russian) asset, now we discover “Kremlin linked professor” Joseph Mifsud, more likely than not, worked for the British intelligence services. I mean, man, what’s to do with that?

Well, any half competent investigator should be able to hit a home run, batting right handed, over the left field fence, with what comes next.

The entire butt-load of lies the ‘Russiagate’ rests on, pivots on the accusation it was Russia hacked the Democratic National Committee and this is presumed to be the material Mifsud alluded to when he informed George Papadopoulos the Russians had dirt on the Clinton campaign. Papadopoulos repeated this to an Australian ambassador, and in what appears to have been a set-up, the ambassador trotted the information to American authorities and all of this supposedly buttressed the out & out fake “Steele Dossier” that should have sunk the Trump campaign for POTUS. But it not only didn’t work, but because it didn’t work, it can’t be made to go away. That aspect is kindergarten forensic science.

What appears may have happened is, would be something like this: the deep state Clintonista faction backing Obama’s CIA Director John Brennan didn’t have the pull needed within his own (historically arch-conservative) agency to pull off the hit job on Trump’s campaign on behalf of the neoliberals so Brennan enlisted the British in what became a cellularized-hybrid operation (British intel x Brennan’s neoliberal cell.) Meanwhile (the promptly assassinated) Seth Rich had taken the DNC mails out of that organization’s server on a memory stick and sold the material to WikiLeaks (likely ‘facilitated’ by MOSSAD, Trump/Pence has been an Israeli wet dream.) [9]

Alerted to the DNC mails heist, subsequently, the ‘Russian Hack’ had been concocted by the neoliberals in British intelligence and handed to the Clintonistas at the FBI who colluded with CrowdStrike in the invention of Guccifer 2.0 but this story is too hot to let out of the bag because if it breaks open, the collateral damage would not only be widely geopolitical but could possibly result in a very few lonely lampposts in DC, the entire congress has been in the business of promoting this lie. And that is almost certainly why the pivotal but vanished Joseph Mifsud had to be made to ‘go away’ as a witness. [10]

Now, take a deep breath and consider this next: William Barr is a longtime CIA asset who’d actually worked for the agency in his early career and is notable for two events in his first stint as Attorney General (for career CIA operative George H.W. Bush), working to contain the Iran Contra debacle (inclusive of recommending pardons for Poindexter et al) but more importantly, crushing (includes assassination) investigation into the ‘Boys Town’ pedophilia scandal that led directly to the White House. This second instance no longer seems a far-fetched accusation in light of the recent Jeffery Epstein ‘expiration.’ [11], [12]

Bush41-call-boys

It follows, not only is long time CIA asset William Barr (damage control expert) engaged in ‘re-misdirecting’ the entire false narrative, Trump personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani’s big mouth indicates this ‘re-misdirection’ is intended to frame the Ukrainians for framing the Russians on behalf of Brennan; in place of what had actually been a framing of the Russians by Brennan’s neoliberal faction in concert with British intelligence. This recent angle includes blackmailing Wikileaks into supporting the new false narrative, Wikileaks plays ball or Assange is buried. As well, the British would be badly burned if the actuality were known and no one knows where and how it all morphs from the end of 2019; in the warring factions contest. That’s the world of spooks. [13], [14]

So, what’s up with the Russian end in all of this? They probably don’t know what to do. As geopolitically unstable the entire business is, unwinding it, engineering the ‘Russiagate’ facts into the open, would be even more destabilizing. Then, there is a complicating factor where Russian propaganda has become deeply invested in creating a mythology of ‘Assange the crucified truth-teller’ when ‘flipping’ the Western propaganda narrative back onto itself. [15], [16]

Likely the Russians would be ok with ‘re-framing’ the false narrative onto the Nazis in Ukraine and the conservative faction at CIA recognizes (perhaps has even been communicated) this. That ‘truth telling’ Wikileaks has never openly acknowledged the facts surrounding Seth Rich would seem to play to what should be Russian concerns (and brings into question Wikileaks associate Craig Murray’s .ru email address, I’d put the full address here but that’d be opening to a ‘doxing’ accusation.) [17]

Moving on, a rare truth from a spook who essentially admits the near invincibility of the intelligence agencies’ reputations is so much myth:

“If the Mossad had to pay fines for operations it carried out over the years that failed, the state treasury would collapse” [18], [19]

Moving to conclude ronaldthomaswest.com’s 2019 end of year message and notes, just a short paragraph on stats, following on the 2018 end of year message and blog performance. As is the case each year, it is noted ‘who’ is reading is more important, by far, than raw numbers. 2019 is lower in overall numbers but not by much, a drop of about 5,000 hits or 2018’s rounded off 42,500 to 2019’s projected 37,500. There was a noticeable drop in the fall of 2019, when I’d turned my attention to a Native American project or translating pre-Columbian thought to modern (with attending few months sabbatical from geopolitics.) As predicted at the end of 2018, in 2019 a lampoon of CIA torture – Alfreda Bikowsky & The Definition of Stupid – showing (in a case with indisputable statistics) information derived from torture is actually worse than useless, became this blog’s all time most read piece, receiving multiple hits nearly every day after five full years.

To Gina Haspel’s behind the scenes in Langley, Virginia, that’s all folks!

Glenn Greenwald at The Intercept calls out the New York Times journalists exposing ‘fake news’ by pointing out they’re plagiarizing Russian media on what actually happened with the torched ‘humanitarian aid’ at the Venezuela-Colombia border. Huh? Yeah, it’s a head-scratch worthy of a political chimp, because Greenwald DOES NOT explore the most important question: who benefits from the NYT story in media that (Greenwald acknowledges) might as well be outright owned by the (deep) state. The real story here? White House occupying Kissinger-philosophy-neocon-Christian-Zionist-Pentagon centered ‘national security’ clique 0 – 1 wannabe White House occupying Brzezinski-philosophy-neoliberal-globalist-CIA centered ‘national security’ clique (noting there is some overlay between cliques from their respective bases of power.)

The left ones think I’m [on the] right, the right [wing] ones think I’m wrong -Leon Russell

To start, my message of what’s happening that’s important in its bearing on the new year, the USA animus towards Russia and all of its implications, we begin in a historical context with this screenshot naming the author of a patent lie:

Mueller_Lockerbie - 1

Insofar as 2018 stories, of the several geopolitical events of considerable importance, in my estimation it is the deep state’s Robert Mueller role-as-mole or charade as ‘special counsel’ should draw the necessary attention to underline the so-called ‘Trumanite’ network embedded in the USA’s security structures. Of the MANY exposures (in the public domain) of this man as a fraud devoted to what amounts to an anti-constitutional order that has stepped itself up and above the rule of law, there are three that stand out to degree to disqualify him as anything other than corrupt; 1) in his role as deputy attorney general during the Bush 41 administration, Robert Mueller headed up the USA end of the Lockerbie investigation that was later exposed by a Chief of Scots police as a frame-up of Libya due to false evidence and testimony provided by the USA, 2) it was Robert Mueller had been exposed by a United States Senate investigation (that was never acted on) showing the United States Department of Justice sandbagged the criminal case against Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) and subsequently 3) it was Robert Mueller’s FBI for a decade refused to arrest a serial killer, Enrique Prado, despite more than ample evidence (a proverbial ‘mountain’ of evidence) provided to the Department of Justice by both state and federal law enforcement.

The common thread in these events? It is the Central Intelligence Agency. The USA end of the Lockerbie investigation was tied to false physical evidence planted by the CIA and the FBI provided the ‘expert’ testimony of Thomas Thurman (exposed as a fraud) upholding the same under Robert Mueller’s watch, BCCI was all about the CIA’s Iran-Contra international arms and narcotics money laundering investigation Mueller worked to contain (damage control) and Enrique Prado is not only a serial killer responsible for multiple drug cartel related murders that Mueller’s FBI failed to act on, but also happens to double as a high ranking CIA official who moved on to Blackwater where the CIA’s own contract killings became outsourced (Prado remains free & has never been prosecuted.) Of the many instance of Robert Mueller’s dirty work for CIA, these three cases are remarkable for the fact they are reasonably indisputable. [1], [2], [3]

It follows, when Robert Mueller is assigned to support ‘the Russians did it’ forgone conclusion at the trial by Western media, it demands investigation of Mueller’s endeavors and it cannot come as a surprise there are numerous, major holes in ‘the Russians did it’ story replete with CIA fingerprints (Bruce & Nellie Ohr, Fusion GPS and Crowdstrike.) It follows, these are the 2018 ronaldthomaswest.com stories that bear on what will follow in the new year:

https://ronaldthomaswest.com/2018/01/31/the-wheel-is-indeed-empty/

https://ronaldthomaswest.com/2018/12/20/usa-really-robert-mueller/

These preceding stories concern a social poison that could morph into WWIII when you think about in certain terms; The USA’s deep state/intelligence agencies framing Russia as a criminal with (excuse me) ‘trumped up’ charges is not like falsely accusing your local rival mobster. The difference is tremendous and what is frightening is, the small mentalities who believe they can produce a stool pigeon, e.g. Christopher Steele, to give false testimony and expect the result will be a conviction, are creating a very big problem for all of us, because you cannot simply lock Russia up … and the falsely convicted are not prone to be especially friendly towards their prosecutors. When the Russians see opportunity to rectify this injustice, because the perpetrators almost certainly will never admit their fraud, likely result will not be pretty. You and I dear reader, could pay for that. In a more radical scenario, with continuing pressure and tensions piled on, everyone could pay. Sans bullshit happy greetings, welcome to 2019.

Relevant to the CIA’s vested interest in ‘the Russian’s did it’ information operation pursued by Robert Mueller, here is my related, thumbnail metadata history of false-flag terrorism as pursued by the liberal democracies intelligence agencies…

…and the related complaint to the International Criminal Court seeking precedent for expanded jurisdiction:

https://ronaldthomaswest.com/2018/07/03/western-intelligence-agencies-the-international-criminal-court/

Moving on, 2018 is remarkable for the fact I’d finally jelled my personal philosophy into print in the English language. This was exceptionally difficult because the pre-Western civilization that has shaped my views is not conducive to translation to Western thought and language per se. In fact I’m prepared to state almost all past anthropological endeavors in this regard are hopelessly flawed, especially those stemming from so-called ‘native studies’ programs (and their academic progeny) for the fact color of skin creates a pseudo or deceptive perception of validity. ‘Native studies’ is a politically correct euphemism for Western anthropology dressed up in red skins in a society which seems hopelessly trapped into lying to itself. Here is my attempted work-around:

https://ronaldthomaswest.com/2018/06/19/my-political-introspection/

A related critique of American society produced here in 2018 is:

https://ronaldthomaswest.com/2018/04/30/beware-the-perception/

My modest blog’s projected performance for 2018: 116 hits daily (on average for a bit under 3,500 per month.) This is up from 2017, but 2014 had been a stronger year, due to Ron Unz linking his assessment of the MH17 false-flag Malaysian airliner shoot-down over Novorossiya (the Donbass area of Ukraine) to my assessment of that same event.

Started in mid-2012, following Alternet discontinuing (and eventually deleting) my ‘soapbox’ blog, ronaldthomaswest.com began to get a bit of traction in 2013, with 2014 the blog’s strongest year, pulling in 45,000 hits. 2015 had about 40,000 (a lingering effect of Ron Unz linking to the MH17 piece), 2016 was at 26,000, 2017 bumped up to 36,500 views and 2018 is up to just over 42,000 reads. Over the lifespan of this blog, we are nearing 200,000 hits.

Alfreda Bikowsky and the Definition of Stupid, lampooning CIA renditions to torture with real statistics, is the most steadily read article over time (since it had been published in December 2014), and has consistently gained on the MH17 assessment and is this site’s most popular and enduring satire. As things stand, it is on track to become this sites all time most read piece in 2019.

The following ‘top ten’ are not all published in 2018 but were the most read for the year. The numbers are probably a bit higher than reflected in these stats as of 26 December; as there are approximately 3,000 reads for 2018 in the category ‘homepage/archives’ some of which probably are hits of articles in the following list. Amazingly, works in relation to my Native American experiences are the top two.

Finally, I continue to hold that sheer numbers are not necessarily the best marker for a blogs importance, who reads can be as important or more important. In regards to this, greetings to the spooks, some of you I admire and know, others I despise but nevertheless know you read here (and know who some of you are.)

Albania’s spy service SHISH gets ‘kebabed’ by its own finance ministry in the interest of EU ‘openess’ … apparently the intelligence service provided expenses details together with employee records and the entire business was published online by the finance ministry. This next, breath-taking hypocrisy, would win the world liars contest if only the USA didn’t exist; NATO’s Turkey [pun intended] says nations should consider working with Assad “if he wins a credible election”

https://www.rt.com/news/446612-turkey-assad-cooperation-election/

…recalling Sultan Erdogan’s election conferring godlike dictatorial powers on his ambition to resurrect the Ottoman empire looked something like this:

massive electoral fraud … the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the Council of Europe (COE), issued scathing reports on the referendum … The referendum occurred … under state of emergency … Erdogan arrested 45,000 oppositionists and dismissed 130,000 civil servants … “No” campaigners threatened and called “terrorist sympathizers” … 150 journalists in jail … 160 media outlets shut down … half a million Kurd voters disenfranchised … Kurdish members of parliament jailed … 5,000 Kurdish ‘no’ activists arrested … Supreme Electoral Council, controlled by Erdogan appointees, abruptly changed the legal criteria for certifying ballots on election day, removing an important safeguard against voter fraud … qualified judges replaced with Erdogan loyalists

https://www.alternet.org/news-amp-politics/massive-electoral-fraud-turkeys-referendum

Man, that sounds almost as bad as Chicago. But that’s NATO democracy in action, bringing up this next:

Trump bends over his second least favorite babysitter/general, Mattis, and orders a complete withdrawal from Syria…

https://www.haaretz.com/us-news/u-s-military-preparing-for-full-withdrawal-from-northeastern-syria-report-1.6762877

…opening the door to NATO’s Turkey [pun intended] to go after the Kurd units there, which is an interesting development. Putin wanted the USA out but he also has warned Erdogan against funneling Idlib’s Salafi militants to Syria’s Kurdish region, something Erdogan has been keen to do. Actually Erdogan will go for it anyway, and small wonder at that, considering Erdogan’s intelligence chief, Hakan Fidan, is a bona fide member of al Qaida. Is Putin ready for Erdogan to back-stab Russia again? This has to be the biggest geopolitical soap opera of the moment:

“The third disagreement is related to the fate of extremists as Turkish officials want to transfer them to Kurdish-controlled areas while Russian officials insist on “terminating them””

https://aawsat.com/english/home/article/1410516/russian-turkish-dispute-over-idlib-agreement-explanation-sources

&

https://ronaldthomaswest.com/2018/10/03/natos-takfiri-laundromat/

So, then Trump’s detractors (includes Mattis) will point the finger at Trump (not Turkey) when Syria’s east is reinfected with Salafi militants but secretly pleased Erdogan has reopened the terrorism pipeline into Syria if only because it will cause Assad and Russia problems. Of course this also could point to taking the USA’s Syria contingent out of harms way in any planned, upcoming military action confronting Iran. And, so it goes…

Well, my friends, with 2018 nearly out the door, forget Oliver Stone & that rank, skank Megyn Kelly, when  it comes to understanding the man NATO, USA and EU are contending with, here’s the Putin interview you should care to watch:

December’s notes begin in the Far East with a look at empire’s stunning hypocrisy… we don’t arrest our own corporate officials for crimes of the corporation, rather the habit has been to penalize the corporation. Never was there a ‘too big to fail’ banker prosecuted. Throw that idea out the window in relation to China and the Trump administration’s rather dangerous trade war provocations on top of recent saber rattling:

Would Russia send a warship into Puget Sound? Ok, so Peter the Great Bay is a bit bigger but wtf, it’s little different when it comes to (these days habitual) provocations as the USA sends a warship to the vicinity of Vladivostock:

Recall that 21st Century medieval kingdom called North Korea? Maybe it’s not altogether the crumbling state the propagandists tell us, here’s the narrative of the Scotsman who ran a foreign law firm there for 12 years:

The criminal mentality Alex Younger (MI6 boss) slips up and spills how the UK is pursuing 21st Century clandestine information warfare:

Maria Butina caves in and cops a guilty plea, probably to escape intolerable conditions of confinement. What is interesting is, the USA claiming the Russian state showing interest in her case, in and of itself, points to Butina being a spy:

If Russia’s interest in supporting their citizen, Butina, points to her guilt, what does that say about ‘Pastor Brunson.’ Oops:

In fact the CIA’s habit of employing missionaries in the spy games is hardly new:

I doubt Butina was anything more than naive, I don’t see anything dramatically changed since I’d written about her case in July:

Meanwhile, in Strasbourg, the European Parliament apparently can’t stand the thought ethnic Russians might actually decide for themselves who should represent them, so what, elections are anti-democratic? Ohhh, its that ‘Minsk Accord’ thing where the liberal democracies nazi lap-dogs in Kiev are allowed to absolutely ignore upholding their end of the deal but when it comes to the ‘rebels’ pesky aspiration to democratic ideals, that’s a BIG no-no:

CIA promotes a woman to top hit-man position, her hair-style indicates a stunted maturity that’d never graduated beyond a 1970s high school year-book-look:

Meanwhile, in the realm of an aging Governor Moonbeam, the corruption surrounding water is breath-taking, forget all of those evaporating waste-holes of greater Los Angeles called swimming pools, this shit is unreal:

Catalan separatists, who I’m normally somewhat sympathetic to (if only because they’re poking a finger in the eye of fascist Spain) get this months hypocrisy award … better they had torn down the immense monument to Columbus in Barcelona prior to looking for Native Americans interested in political fellatio:

Another piece future politically correct historians will damn this author for, a social assessment of the ‘yellow vests’ degenerates into a satire where Brigette Macron is the undead Simone de Beauvoir, consort of the President of France, who is loved by the German state because he’s necrophiliac. Oh well.

Speaking of dead things, I’d had unusually excellent sleep (for an old soldier’s tired bones) the night of 30 November and woke up to news ‘Bush 41’ had died. I seem to recall (was it a dream?) a jingle that went ‘ding-dong that Bush is dead’ … recalling Ross Perot was blackmailed into dropping out of his presidential run against Bush 41 with high quality photo-forgeries of Perot’s daughter in porn scenes, apparently including beastiality. Perot believed it was the work of GHWB’s CIA connections. It may well have been. No obituary I’ve seen mentions the elder Bush 20 years CIA association (officer? Certainly he had access to and moved in Alan Dulles’ circles) prior to his becoming CIA Director for Gerald Ford. Was Bush Sr in Dallas in November 1963? Some put him there. As well, what happened to any mention of the 1980 October Surprise? It’s not like that was never in the news. Then, there’s Iran-Contra. Finally there’s his criminal spawn, ‘dubya’ and Saddam’s ‘weapons of mass destruction’, Neal Bush (9/11) and Jeb & the quashed Novation case where two DoJ attorneys appear to have been murdered to cover up a massive Bush related fraud. The man smells (worse now, considering he’s a corpse) and has always smelled of a world class criminal. Perhaps America’s greatest ever, were the truth to become fully known. That’s what received a state funeral. This is one f’d up world.

I suppose I could have penned a satirical obituary but I was up and about other things. So, here’s the satire/obituary I’d done on former Bush ally & CIA international narcotics trafficking partner Manuel Noreiga instead, note the photo of George HW Bush sitting together with Noreiga in ‘better days’ (before the American crime boss stabbed his business partner in the back)

Almost through 2018? I didn’t think I’d live to see 2000 (career/lifestyle)
