Throughout the short history of ronaldthomaswest.com, there has been a concern on my part that I would not be judged kindly. Allow me to explain. It was never my intent to take the road in life this website reflects. It covers subject matter I’d never any predisposition to delve into, a world of grotesque lies and contorted pseudo realities so profane, one should as a matter of fact presume to have a dirtied soul as matter of consequence. However I would suppose, but not with superior confidence, there might be someone or two great personalities could penetrate the manifold layers of deceit and never be dirtied, that is not me. I don’t enjoy the dirt and yet discover a visceral laugh, time to time, in myself that seems evil, reveling in injuring evil. I should suppose there is a special place in Hell for persons who become addicted to the geopolitical contest to point of living this aspect for entertainment sake. Gratefully, I can also say this is not me. Even at my most profane, what I attempt to do, and hopefully I am not deceiving myself, is reflect what I see, and what the reader should see is a reflection which does not necessarily implicate myself, but is a filtered refraction that works to remove the mirage and gain better insights to the nature and structures of the evil we are confronted with.
But even when working to make people laugh with my satire, a means to break the grip of, and dis-empower that evil over our lives, one should never lose sight of the fact there is an ugliness taken over our world that is unprecedented in history; with the power to cross nearly every frontier unchecked. Wicked gossip, for all of the problems it had created throughout human history, were never so profane and evil as the intelligence operations seen in today’s world, especially the information operations in our western world or, one could say empire mass media of the digital age.
Not being of the western civilization, culturally speaking, one might suppose I could sit back and enjoy watching Christendom tearing itself apart like a pack of dogs turned on itself. But when was it ever different to this? Europe has been attacking itself throughout modern history, and even before that. Western civilization, to the times preceding Homer, are a story of the sword. Now, in the era of nuclear weapons, this historical, and one could consequently argue, innate aggression, signals a collective suicide is inevitable. How is it this culture can, in the meanwhile, view itself as humanitarian and altruistic, is beyond the pale of sane reason, it is a peculiar insanity in and of itself.
But it is the culture, especially today’s Christian culture sprung from Europe, it is not some biological factor, that threatens to end us all in the present moment. Other cultures, particularly those the Christian culture had extirpated, were never pointed to the threat we see today.
In the ‘half-civilized’ European based culture called American, where the jails and asylums of Europe had been emptied, and religious fanatics banished to, all stirred into a hybrid vigor, now a superstitious Slovenian villager, Melania Trump, has scores of pastors and priests trouping through the White House, exorcising the premises and pouring oil on and hopefully blessing ‘the donald’ as that moron flails hopelessly in the custody of generals whose real loyalties are difficult to pin down; in a mishmash comprised of corporate board future promise related to wealth, present self-important strut-mincing for geopolitical posturing sake, and not least, rabid fundamentalism so extreme as to be labeled Christian Taliban, a point of ‘faith’ they share with commander-in-chief-in-waiting Mike Pence, an American Himmler if ever there were such a creature determined to be unleashed upon us by the fates.
This preceding is nuclear armed cocktail creating its own ‘raison d’ être.’
Relevant to this, for over a year this blog has made the case there was never a ‘Russian DNC hack’ that was actually an insider leak by the assassinated Seth Rich, and now a former admiral has published at the Washington Times what amounts to identical argument made here; the entire ‘Russians did it’ business is being sustained with corrupt process by criminals at the FBI and above. Interestingly, the admiral suggests Mike Pence’s fraternal brother, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, is not up to the job when he concludes:
“The Trump administration must take charge and get a competent attorney general to pursue these crimes”
He’s right. But what he may not realize is, the traitors surrounding Trump include (but are not limited to) John Kelly, ‘Mad Dog’ Mattis, H.R. McMaster, that is the generals, not only Mike Pence and Jeff Sessions, Jeff Sessions being the Attorney General who has NOT called out ‘the Russians did it’ caper for what it is, a CIA initiated information operation spurring appointment of Special Counsel to take down Trump.
None of these preceding are standing in the way of Trump being taken down by corrupt process, lies as it were, it was John Kelley denied Trump opportunity to meet with Dana Rohrabacher and break the facts of the DNC leak into the open. Why would a recently retired Marine Corps general, who happens to be White House Chief of Staff, sabotage reporting of fact to the President of the United States, facts that should defuse tensions with Russia by removing false accusations, but instead shields criminal culpability engineering aggression? They’re playing for time, to give Robert Mueller opportunity to bring charges altogether unrelated to the purported Russia caper, a failed CIA endeavor, instead holding out for indicting Trump on his historic mafia ties, going back to the days of Roy Cohn. The dirt is there. But Trump is a petty criminal by comparison to Department of Justice players in the game at this point merely to save their own asses. The game has been flipped on the unwitting CIA assets at DoJ who are in turn being gamed by the generals.
Mike Pence is the generals’ deep state player of choice and Pentagon insurance policy from the time of Trump’s nomination and choice of running mate. In the internecine war between the neoliberal deep state players embedded at CIA versus the Pentagon, vying for the upper hand at the White House, it is the generals who’re winning (to now.)
Vladimir ‘The Innocent’ (in this circumstance) had recently laid out a very reasonable case for how the USA has, over two decades, positioned itself to militarily confront Russia, broken their promise not to move NATO east, aborted the ABM treaty, used subterfuge, refused cooperation, and more, all pointed to underhandedly seeking dominance over Russia’s area of strategic interests. The result had finally been Russia unmasking new strategic weapons the USA is ill prepared to counter. Having announced the new systems, President Putin stated:
“No, nobody really wanted to talk to us about the core of the problem, and nobody wanted to listen to us. So, listen to us now!”
I fear Mr Putin has over-estimated the rationality of these ‘nobodies.’ It may well be they’re incapable of listening. They have weapons mass of destruction and they’ll lie to themselves concerning any mismatch of capabilities and ultimately decide they have developed sufficient strategy to ‘test’ those weapons in some circumstance other than a game. In other words, the American generals are legitimately insane. If you don’t think so, likely you’re suffering a form of denial that is insanity too.
By definition, people who lie to themselves as a matter of habit, should be considered mentally unbalanced. It follows, when your institutions and leadership pervasively lie to the public (because they are organically incapable of being honest with themselves) and actually believe this lying is a ‘good thing’, after all, these people do go to church, you have a ‘larger than life’ problem, Jesus saying ‘everything that is concealed will be revealed’ notwithstanding.
Meanwhile, our media having run with these lies, despite ample evidence there’s not an honest man in the lot of these cowards who would rule us, points to outcome beyond the comprehension of a public incapable of absorbing facts they have little access to. When this charade falls apart, as it must, it may be well too late for any resolution within the bounds of reason. By then, the criminal element will have upped the ante to outright actionable insanity, because leopards don’t shed their spots and criminals don’t voluntarily surrender their business models. They’ll take whatever action they think necessary to avoid going to jail and if that means a serious enough war justifying suspending civil liberties and declaring martial law at home, that is precisely the direction things will take, short of some courageous statesman, at the state level, leveling with the people, and getting media to go along. What are the chances of this civil salvation? Slim to none and growing more remote everyday.

So, who is the greater criminal, Robert Manson or Charlie Mueller? Er, I meant, Charlie Manson or Robert Mueller? We’ll begin with Robert Mueller. Be patient, we’ll get to ‘Charlie’ Mueller’s more recent angels, James Comey and Christopher Wray. But first…

Mueller’s stellar criminal career and his earlier angel, FBI ‘expert witness’ Thomas Thurman [1], points to Mueller’s criminal complicity in geopolitical murders [2]. Mueller had oversight role of the USA end of the Lockerbie investigation as a Department of Justice attorney, concerning the mass murder of hundreds of people with the bombing of Pan Am flight 103 [3] at Lockerbie, Scotland. We can neatly sum this case up with the statement [4] of a senior investigative official in Scotland’s police:
[4] “The retired officer – of assistant chief constable rank or higher – has testified that the CIA planted the tiny fragment of circuit board crucial in convicting a Libyan for the 1989 mass murder of 270 people
“The officer, who was a member of the Association of Chief Police Officers Scotland, is supporting earlier claims by a former CIA agent that his bosses “wrote the script” to incriminate Libya
“The fragment was later identified by the FBI’s Thomas Thurman as being part of a sophisticated timer device used to detonate explosives, and manufactured by the Swiss firm Mebo, which supplied it only to Libya and the East German Stasi
“Thurman was later unmasked as a fraud who had given false evidence in American murder trials, and it emerged that he had little in the way of scientific qualifications”
Charlie’s ‘angel’ Thomas Thurman was the FBI’s go to ‘evidence’ man and ‘expert’ witness whenever our CIA’s and/or deep state’s rulers wanted someone framed up for something they’d actually not done. When Thurman was unmasked as a fraud responsible for false convictions, instead of facing prosecution, he was ‘retired’ (kept his pension) and found employ as a professor, and Mueller was never so much as questioned about how Thurman might have compromised the Lockerbie case.
Recalling the CIA role in the preceding case handled by Mueller, it should come as no surprise Mueller would be, again as a DoJ attorney, the agency’s damage control man when he was the saboteur [5] assigned to sinking the biggest money laundering criminal case in USA history; the primary Iran-Contra facilitating bank [6] BCCI:
[5] “Kerry will later conclude that the Justice Department in particular went to great lengths to block his and Morgenthau’s investigations “through a variety of mechanisms, ranging from not making witnesses available, to not returning phone calls, to claiming that every aspect of the case was under investigation in a period when little, if anything was being done.” After the Bank of England shuts down BCCI in July 1991 (see July 5, 1991), making big headlines, Under Assistant Attorney General Robert Mueller takes over Justice Department efforts on BCCI and assigns many new attorneys to the case. But Kerry will ultimately conclude that the indictments the Justice Department brings forth against BCCI after that time were narrower and less detailed than those of Morgenthau’s, and often seemed to be in response to what Morgenthau was doing”
[6] “BCCI was the Bank of Credit and Commerce International, a dirty offshore bank that then-President Ronald Reagan’s Central Intelligence Agency used to run guns to Hussein, finance Osama bin Laden, move money in the illegal Iran-Contra operation and carry out other “agency” black ops. The Bushes also benefited privately; one of the bank’s largest Saudi investors helped bail out George W. Bush’s troubled oil investments”
So, Mueller doesn’t just have an ugly mug, he is just plain ugly. That becomes particularly clear when he moves from DoJ criminal division chief to head up the FBI, where he is most notable for NOT investigating the crimes sprees of the Bush Jr administration. Now, this is when it get sticky for his erstwhile DoJ buddy James Comey:
[7] “In 2004, Comey, then serving as a deputy attorney general in the Justice Department, apparently limited the scope of the criminal investigation of Sandy Berger, which left out former Clinton administration officials who may have coordinated with Berger in his removal and destruction of classified records from the National Archives. The documents were relevant to accusations that the Clinton administration was negligent in the build-up to the 9/11 terrorist attack
“Many will also be unaware that before Comey was installed by the Obama Administration as FBI Director, he was on the board of Director at HSBC Bank – a bank implicated in international money laundering, including the laundering of billions on behalf of international drugs and narcotics trafficking cartels.
“Forbes also points out where Comey was also at the key choke-point during the case involving dodgy auditor KPMG which followed on by the HSBC criminal case:
“If Comey, and his boss Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez, had made a different decision about KPMG back in 2005, KPMG would not have been around to miss all the illegal acts HSBC and Standard Chartered SCBFF were committing on its watch. Bloomberg reported in 2007 that back in June of 2005, Comey was the man thrust into the position of deciding whether KPMG would live or die for its criminal tax shelter violations.”
Huh. Except for not having Charlie Mueller’s physical ugliness, recent Charlie’s angel, excuse me, recent FBI Director Comey’s style had been a good match for the criminal ugliness of his mentor. Both are expert at sandbagging and sinking investigations into mega-bucks criminal enterprises.
Well, that was short and not so sweet, bringing us to the same DoJ cesspool, excuse me, criminal talent pool, and its producing present FBI Director Christopher Wray. Now, suppose you’re the 3rd Bush aligned senior DoJ criminal division staff that will move on to head up the FBI, and some poor sap has opened up the super-sized menu of maggots called the Novation investigation concerning multiple billions in Medicare fraud [8]. The problem here is, the Novation case implicates Bush Jr Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, a former member of a law firm representing Novation, and future presidential wannabe & presidential brother Jeb Bush. So, future FBI Director Wray’s subordinates, DoJ criminal division Novation case team members, Thelma Colbert & Shannon Ross, are ‘dropped dead’ (remember ‘poppa’ Bush is former career CIA), the rest of the investigating team is reassigned, resigned or fired and that’s that.

Worth Office of the US Attorney for the Northern District of Texas who had initiated the False Claims Act prosecution of Cynthia Fitzgerald’s charges against Novation LLC was found dead in her swimming pool by her daughter on July 20, 2004.
“The Criminal Chief of the Dallas U.S. Attorney’s office Shannon K. Ross who signed the subpoenas against Novation LLC, General Electric, and Cardinal Health in the government case against the hospital supply cartel was found dead September 11, 2004.
“Based on the federal codes cited in a copy of one of the subpoenas, the investigators were seeking evidence of health care fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, theft or bribery involving programs receiving federal funds, obstruction of investigations and other possible violations”
The preceding quote is from a letter by a private attorney who was stepped on by the deep state; the letter is addressed to past FBI Director Mueller’s buddy & recent FBI Director Comey, asking him to investigate the inside fix covering up crimes including the murders of two of then DoJ criminal division chief and present FBI Director Wray’s subordinates. ‘Hope springs eternal’ is the apropos expression. It’s kind of like asking Tex Watson to investigate Susan Atkins, Linda Kasabian, and Patricia Krenwinkel. In other words, it’s like asking the Manson family to investigate themselves, only worse.

So, who is the bigger criminal, Charlie Manson or Robert Mueller? In a way, they’re indistinguishable. In another way, Mueller is the greater criminal, by far. They are indistinguishable in that both are killers whose accountability is by implication; both are often (Manson) or altogether (Mueller) physically removed from the crimes they must be held accountable for. The similarity ends there. Manson is the minor criminal when compared to Mueller. Manson is tied to the deaths of maybe a dozen people with perhaps as many additional murders yet to be discovered. Mueller is tied to the murders of hundreds.
Then, Mueller, Comey and Wray, the lot of them, are responsible for covering up the murders of a cartel hit-man. How is that not equal to or exceeding the crimes of Manson?

Despite a grand jury subpoena and a mountain of evidence unearthed by a federal task force, Prado was promoted into the agency’s highest echelons and charged with implementing some of the country’s most sensitive post-9/11 counterterrorist operations, including the agency’s secret “targeted assassination unit.” All while staying in close touch with his cocaine-trafficking boss and, evidence suggests, taking part in additional killings for him”
“A mountain of evidence unearthed by a federal task force”, yet no criminal indictments produced over the tenure of three senior DoJ criminal division staff moved on to become FBI Directors and Prado is still killing today. This is result of a deep state insurance policy. The insurer issuing the policy could be called the Grassley/Feinstein Mutual Fund [10] [11], a subsidiary [12] of Prescott Bush & Alan Dulles Partners Limited.
Of course, none of this will be brought out by the Congressional intelligence committees, to collapse the credibility of ‘three amigos’ Special Counsel Mueller, fired Director Comey & present FBI boss Wray to help kill the ‘Russia collusion’ farce; because all parties are complicit and tainted in the cover-up. Grassley wants the DoJ personalities to fall on their swords while Feinstein is besides herself, going crazy, as the investigation into President Skunk implodes around the Steele Dossier. It’s like an exclusive ‘serial-killers only’ swingers’ club where everybody is tired of the limited opportunity at couplings, yet their sex addiction requires everyone screwing everyone out of habit and everyone hates everyone’s guts. At some point, the entire crew will resort to some new mass murder, like initiating war with Iran, to get it all back on track.

Note: The Bush family has a status as gods within the operational sector (dirty tricks division) of the CIA. They’re also ‘Never Trump’ Republicans. My hypothesis is, the entire ‘the Russians did it’ hysteria in DC is a related CIA exercise aimed at Trump. The agency is expert at ‘backstopping’ it’s clandestine operations and the DoJ had been set up as patsies in case the operation began falling apart. It probably went down something like this; the agency set up and fed allegations into a feedback loop between Christopher Steele and the Department of Justice/FBI and then stepped out of the loop. Consequently, it could go something like this: When our Christian Taliban generals are satisfied with their grip on power [14], in the case of Trump initiating a conflict in Iran and the generals become indispensable (but only following an inept commander-in-chief’s orders), look for the generals to step out of the way and open the door to Trump’s removal for starting the war they ‘didn’t really want.’ Meanwhile Trump is a perfect idiot to front up and take the heat for anything/everything that might possibly go wrong as he hands what’s left of the USA over to the military-industrial corporate boards.

Marcy Wheeler at ’emptywheel’ blog believes “the Russians did it”, but there are so many holes in the ‘DNC hack’ story, a government embraced CIA generated conspiracy theory (one that’s going to backfire), Niagara Falls couldn’t keep that sieve filled; no matter intelligence agencies across the spectrum [2] [3] [4] of the liberal democracies are trying to pull the American intelligence agency’s chestnuts out of the fire, Russian hackers here, Russian Hackers there, evil Russian hackers everywhere!
To begin, we only need dissect one short article where Wheeler asserts ‘the Russians did it’ in her:
Why Is Russia Finally Letting (Dubious) Details of Its Involvement in DNC Hack Out?

In recent days there have been a number of stories in Russia implicating the FSB (note, not GRU) in issues related to the DNC hack. First, there was this article from The Bell, claiming that the four Russian treason defendants (two of whom were FSB officers) are being prosecuted because they provided inside information to the US about GRU’s involvement in the DNC hack.
“But it is impossible to identify which specific cyber group or groups were responsible for last year’s Democratic National Committee hack based on technical traces alone, four cyber experts polled by The Bell confirmed. To prove specifically that the GRU was involved, U.S. investigators would have needed inside sources — preferably with access to confidential state matters, one source explained. Mikhailov had that access.
“Relations between intelligence agencies working on the cyber front were strained, one of Mikhailov’s acquaintances said. The FSB and GRU compete for funding and Mikhailov felt the FSB carried out cyber tasks more professionally than the GRU, according to one of his acquaintances.
“He used to say that “the GRU breaks into servers in a brazen, clumsy, and brutish manner and it interfered with his own work”, the acquaintance said. Moreover “the GRU’s hackers didn’t even try to cover their tracks””
The report said that Sergei Mikhailov — who was named (but not charged) the Yahoo hack case — shared information on Russian hackers who wouldn’t work with the FSB with western law enforcement agencies though a cut-out named Kimberly Zenz.
“Mikhailov had been working closely with Western intelligence agencies since 2010. Report written for Vrublevsky said that Mikhailov had leaked sensitive information “on Russian cyber-criminals, who had refused to cooperate with him, to a U.S. citizen”. More specifically, Mikhailov reportedly handed the U.S. citizen — a woman — information on Russian state-sponsored hacker attacks against Estonia and Georgia in 2007 and 2008.
“Burykh says he found that Mikhailov gave the information to Stoyanov, who then passed it on to Kimberly Zenz of the U.S. company iDefense Intelligence. From there, it went to the U.S. Department of Defense”
This 1st (immediate preceding) portion of Wheeler’s article is ok to set up her premise but is mostly notable for one omitted fact; her source, The Bell, is politically aligned with Russia’s most fringe anti-Putin liberal elements, led by the former nationalist turned liberal (western media darling & color revolution hopeful) Alexi Navalny.
Then there’s this story, reporting that a hacker tied to the Lurk group, Konstantin Kozlovsky, hacked the DNC on behalf of the FSB.
Following on this (immediate, preceding) linked story, which is mostly notable for its brevity and rehashing The Bell reporting but referencing another Russian liberal fringe (Navalny aligned) anti-Putin media outlet, Dozhd TV, introduces the name Konstantin Kozlovsky and it’s then we come to the real cheat in Wheeler’s reporting and where in her article things get really interesting:
Then there’s this, from Novaya Gazeta, laying out the news.
This immediate, preceding linked article is, again, the Russian liberal fringe or, Navalny aligned anti-Putin media but perhaps the most credible of the fringe liberal media. The article is in Russian language. It is long, complex, and it certainly does NOT lay out any news, despite Wheeler’s word play on the expression ‘lay out the facts.’ It is most notable for numerous points Wheeler omits to mention. The article’s author, Irek Murtazin, is very careful to emphasize, throughout, nearly everything he is writing is speculation. He mentions there is more than one version of his story. He begins his article with a disclaimer, pointing out almost nothing is known with any certainty, concerning the evidence or any facts surrounding the charges concerning those arrested. He proposes the American version of events is possible but doesn’t give this much credence. He uses many self-referring terms concerning his article’s content that can be translated variously as ‘my impression’, ‘a possibility’, ‘my opinion’ and more. This is a context most westerners will have no ability to discover for themselves and Wheeler construes this for her readers to be “laying out the news”
Notably, Murtazin admits the (keep reading) Konstantin Kozlovsky Facebook profile and posting could be a creation of “foreign security service” (implying CIA or other western intelligence) but he prefers to believe it is a Russian security service creation intended for manipulation and/or damage control. Murtazin’s article clearly indicates this is his opinion only and he has no hard facts to back these presumptions up. He even has his unnamed security services sources specifying ‘possibly’ or ‘it could be.’
NG [Novaya Gazeta, but actually Irek Murtazin’s opinion piece, Wheeler fails to make this distinction] questions — as I do — why this is all coming out now. Of particular interest, it notes that Kozlovsky’s claims were posted in August, but for some reason the hashtags that would have alerted people to the posted claim were not triggering, meaning the information only got noticed (at least in Russia) now.
This (immediate, preceding) omits Murtazin having pointed out Konstantin Kozlovsky had been held in a facility so secure ‘a mouse’ could not leave or arrive unregistered. This is important to note for the fact these may in fact not be (almost certainly are not) Kozlovsky’s claims at all. The impression Wheeler would leave with the inattentive is, the idea there is actual substance to Kozlovsky’s ‘Facebook claims’ when in fact there likely is no substantive element. Wheeler then quotes Murtazin:
“Interestingly, the first materials on this page were posted back in August of this year. And despite the fact that sensational publications were accompanied by tags # CIB, # FSB, # Dokoutchaev, # Mikhailov # Stoyanov, # hackers, # Kaspersky, the existence of a personal page Kozlovsky in Facebook for some reason became known only in early December”
Reinforcing her misleading the reader, Wheeler doesn’t openly or clearly state, or accurately interpret material posited in Murtazin’s article, pointing to the most likely possible of facts; the sound idea Kozlovsky, the imprisoned person, never had anything to do with setting up his own Facebook page. Then:

Note Wheeler does not specify which “additions” are hers, in the preceding, although (at her site) Wheeler attributes the timeline to Murtazin with a blockquote. She previously only uses blockquotes for portions of articles she cites (I’ve added quotation marks where Wheeler is quoting with blockquote at her article, as her entire article is reproduced here in blockquote for purpose of this discussion.) Nowhere in Murtazin’s article does a timeline appear in form Wheeler presents as a quote:

Of particular note, the emails exfiltrated from the DNC and shared with WikiLeaks were probably not exfiltrated until the days immediately after Kozlovsky’s arrest.
Where on earth did Wheeler come up with this? Now, she would have us believe the DNC mails hack was accomplished following Kozlovsky’s arrest, in which case the ‘confession’ posted at Facebook cannot possibly be passed off as accurate, the context and language of the proposed confession precludes this. Is Wheeler insinuating Kozlovsky hacked the DNC from maximum security prison, with a gun to his head, and attempting to attribute this to Murtazin? Finally, Wheeler concludes…
As NG [Murtazin’s opinion piece, actually] notes, this all may well be true (though I wonder why Russia is now letting claims it was involved in the DNC hack go public, after claiming it was uninvolved for so long). But the reason it is coming out now is at least as interesting that it is coming out.
…and her “may well be true” consistently ignores Murtazin has emphasized, not only throughout his article, but particularly in its conclusion, this is entirely speculation absent hard facts (noting none of the prosecution files are public), and his admission of this cannot take into account Wheeler’s twisting of his theory (Murtazin presents his piece as nothing more than a theory), her additions and most notably, omissions. Then, Wheeler can wonder for all of eternity (for her readers’ suggestion susceptible minds) “I wonder why Russia is now letting claims it was involved in the DNC hack go public” when in fact it has not been demonstrated Russia has done any such thing. This is Murtazin speculating, nothing more, coming from a disgruntled former mainstream Russian journalist with the integrity of 10,000 Marcy Wheelers with his admission amounting to ‘I made this all up, maybe it will prove true’ (but it certainly won’t, see section two of this post.) In fact, there is greater chance (even if very slim) the arrests of the Kapersky lab figure and the Russian secret services officers are coincidental and unrelated to the arrest of Kozlovsky, than there is chance (practically none) Kozlovsky hacked the DNC servers. For all we know, the FSB officers arrests & treason charges could relate to corruption concerning the billions of rubles the LURK hacking group had stolen from Russia. Anyone can speculate anything at a point where no one really knows what the evidence is concerning those charged. In the end, the most notable omission of Wheeler is, Murtazin’s theory does not implicate Putin, but proposes a possibility that would point to far down the chain of command, to a mid-level, American spy service directed, traitor embedded in Russia’s FSB; ordering the DNC hack to [apparently] frame the Russians. How’d Wheeler miss that? She couldn’t have. The damning piece of Wheeler’s article is as simple as its’ title; “Why Is Russia Finally Letting (Dubious) Details of Its Involvement in DNC Hack Out?” The plain answer is, Russia hasn’t. Novaya Gazeta, publishing this far-fetched speculation, is certainly not acting on behalf of the Russian state.
Marcy Wheeler is one of the slickest, most underhanded so-called ‘journalists’ this investigator has ever encountered. She comes off as a master propagandist, fully engaged in running a professional ‘limited hangout’ or information operation promoting the USA’s intelligence services line. Her target audience is what I’d call the ‘marginally mainstream alienated’ seeking to know what is actually happening. Those people are both; too often convinced and horribly misinformed.
Note on my methodology: I did not rely on google translate (never a good idea, although I do use this tool to become familiar with the overall gist of a story in foreign language.) In order to actually understand the Russian article by Murtazin, I arranged on three occasions to sit with one of my (several) Russian literate associates, to get at accuracy and the nuance of what Murtazin was trying to say. Once before this composition and twice again following this composition.
Incidental to this, I’m informed the Kozlovsky ‘confession’ (reproduced in the Novaya Gazeta opinion piece by Murtazin) reads in the original Russian like a hybrid geek spy novel/Russian suspense thriller movie trailer, with all of the elements of a criminal-turned-unlucky-super-hero plot; where the protagonist turned world savior Kozlovsky had been served with a task list of saving us all from the liberal democracies most extreme paranoid cyber-fantasies. The remark was made “they should give this to Spielberg” and this Russian literate friend is not a Putin fan. It follows, Central Intelligence Agency can never provide proper screen credit to its writers, for reason of plausible deniability as it were.
Also, it is noticed Murtazin’s bias is palpable; when Murtazin refers to Russia’s Federal Security Bureau (FSB) as ‘The Lubyanka‘ (a historic Moscow jail and museum where FSB has an office) to associate today’s FSB with Stalin’s political crimes (the comparison is not close.) This is not how you win friends and influence people (or change the system.)
Wrapping up this section on the emptywheel (which reads like an intelligence agency contracted) hit job, we come to question of Marcy Wheeler’s motive, in her ability to take advantage of her readers vulnerability where examples given…
…’cz’ is the ‘comfort zone’ and the V in the center represents ‘psychological sight.’ As a metaphor, we can say, the eyes are at the point (bottom) of the V and people who depend on certain media and consequent shaped, narrow perception, have their field of vision contained or restricted within the V or comfort zone. The point of working through media to shape perception is to keep the large majority of people inside the ‘comfort zone’, insuring trust in (no matter if undeserved), and support for, geopolitical policy (no matter how insane.) In the event Wheeler, with her habit of sourcing Operation Mockingbird 2.0‘s WaPo & NYT, were herself manipulated (narcissists are brilliant material for this), I’ll be following up on that with a forthcoming satire. Meanwhile, anyone desiring an unbiased take on what’s actually happening, politically, inside Russia by an author who is not socially engineering his material, is not in love with Putin but understands Putin’s method’s better than most, I recommend a read of analyst Gordon Hahn’s assessment HERE.
Section Two: Incompetent Espionage and Wikileaks
This section is substantially unchanged since it had been posted as “Incompetent Espionage & Wikileaks (III).” It still holds up:

“The intelligence community almost certainly wouldn’t be in a position to offer any sort of amnesty for Assange, which likely means the end of the proposal. Rohrabacher offered to set up a meeting between Assange and a Trump representative, but that too appears to have been dismissed by Kelly”
So, the generals keep Trump sequestered like the Vatican keeps a rampant pedophile priest under wraps; away from any real work and responsibilities (in this case, kept from knowledge of what’s actually going on in the world.) But now, with the Wall Street Journal blowing the whistle, Ivanka should soon be whispering in her daddy’s ear; and what will tell you everything is, what happens next. Suppose Trump keeps his mouth shut and says nothing? This will indicate the absolute completion of the Pence aligned generals capture of the Oval Office.
But the real news here is, Assange provides evidence of his belief that he is personally more important than any unconditional release of information which should stop the Pentagon and NATO’s pursuit of a war footing directed at Russia in its tracks.
Narcissism? Is there a stronger word? Julian Assange, who fancies himself ‘Jesus of the Digital Age’ would appear to be tired of bearing his cross. The Roman’s puppet, King Herod, hasn’t been authorized to provide the pardon and Pontius Pilate’s (read Mike Pompeo’s) people will deliver Jesus of the Digital Age to crucifixtion on behalf of the ‘duopoly’ mob, to satisfy their blood lust. Good luck with the world’s biggest ‘deal-maker’ (read loser) Wikileaks, because you blew it by waiting too long.
The entire sand-castle (a product of Obama CIA Director John Brennan’s imagination facilitated by the ‘Never Trump’ Bush partisans at CIA’s dirty tricks division) the “Russians hacked the election” is finally washing away with an incoming tide. How this plays out is anyone’s guess.
The open question is, how the new information will be leveraged, if it were to actually break into the open widely, with the bad boy Trump essentially captured by the surreal evil that surrounds him. Other than pure evil (e.g. Pence), only a narcissist or a fool would ever desire to be president of this particular republic. In ‘The Donald’, we have both.
1 August 2017 an audio tape is leaked in which Seymour Hersh states the FBI knows it was Seth Rich leaked the DNC mails:
“What the [FBI] report says is that some time in late Spring… he makes contact with WikiLeaks, that’s in his computer. Anyway, they found what he had done is that he had submitted a series of documents — of emails, of juicy emails, from the DNC” -Seymour Hersh
On 9 August 2017 The Nation magazine publishes a column on a group of independent experts…
“Forensic investigators, intelligence analysts, system designers, program architects, and computer scientists of long experience and strongly credentialed are now producing evidence disproving the official version of key events last year”
…demonstrating the DNC mails were leaked, not hacked.
On 18 August 2017 Antiwar.com reports Congressman Dana Rohrabacher has met with Assange concerning the DNC mails and [the article] further credibly suggests Assange is holding the DNC leak evidence hostage as a bargaining chip to possibly acquire a pardon for himself and leverage wikileaks into legitimacy with a President of the United States who at this point is owned by the USA’s intelligence agencies, a hare-brained scheme destined to fail. Assange & company waited too long.
But this would fit Julian Assange’s self-centered, persecuted-savior complex which never ceases to amaze, this guy (as well, Craig Murray) has allowed the idiots surrounding Trump to push us towards the brink with Russia, for months. All because Assange is tired of his embassy confinement in London, a circumstance that is entirely his own fault for the fact he didn’t have the self-discipline to keep his dick in his pants (whether Assange’s admitted intercourse was a case of rape or not.)
What’s more is, this blog pointed to strong circumstantial evidence it was Seth Rich leaked the DNC mails this past January, and recalling this, it still stretches the imagination a former UK ambassador would make an amateur espionage move worthy of a cub scout playing spy. But that’s what Craig Murray had done in the case of the DNC emails leaked to WikiLeaks.

That Murray would be a high value target for American counter-intelligence to monitor for the reason of his high profile association with WikiLeaks is beyond obvious. For Murray then to state…

…goes to the practically bizarre when coming from a former United Kingdom ambassador to Uzbekistan. The UK is little different to the USA in the case of embassies providing cover for spies; in which case Murray should at least have some rudimentary espionage understanding such as YOU DO NOT MEET YOUR SOURCE DIRECTLY WHEN YOU ARE A HIGH PROFILE TARGET OF YOUR ADVERSARY’S COUNTER-INTELLIGENCE HUNTING YOUR (in this case, WikiLeaks) SOURCE(S)
Then, we had WikiLeak’s Assange giving what amounts to a ‘Glomar’ ‘I will neither confirm or deny’ response concerning the murder (assassination) of Seth Rich after appearing to suggest Rich was the source of the DNC emails leak:
Beyond this, WikiLeaks offering a $20,000 reward for the solving of the Seth Rich murder is laughable, that’s what an American west coast upscale community would offer for the arrest of a serial killer of the neighborhood’s cats. Two million dollars might get two seconds’ attention of a corruptible counter-intelligence agent with knowledge of a professional hit on Seth Rich, twenty million might even net an inside the agency sucker willing to take the exceedingly high risk to one’s life (almost certain death) that would attend selling out an agency hit man for substantial lucre. In truth, the WikiLeaks reward offer amounted to little more than a tabloid publicity stunt.
Narcissism is a blinding thing; and a self-righteous narcissism is no exception. Ambassador Murray could have every good intention but on the face of it, he had seriously screwed up. Murray and WikiLeaks should have immediately come clean, there was little to lose. Seth Rich was the source, Murray had met with him, and much could have been gained by stating so; there would be nothing given up any intelligence agency involved did not already know. It have been the right thing to do.
Craig Murray stating ‘I had a serious lapse of professional judgement and this resulted in the death of Seth Rich’ would be the most responsible and newsworthy move WikiLeaks could have taken; to counter the CIA’s ‘the Russians hacked the DNC’ propaganda lie, in which there is much invested by the agency; and the consequent damage to relations with Russia, and growing threat to what little world peace yet exists, is immense. WikiLeaks should have done the right thing a long time ago and they have not. Why not? Because Assange and WikiLeaks believes Assange’s comfort is more important than world peace. What fucks. This is beyond inexcusable, it’s criminal. But for Murray, there’s more at stake here than just a hit to ego & image.
Murray’s likely role in the DNC leaks case? A personal meeting with Rich to confirm for WikiLeaks Seth Rich was a bona fide insider with authentic material prior to a WikiLeaks cash payment to Rich and arrangements completed for the mails transfer.
Now, it is a question of ‘damned if you do and damned if you don’t’ release the evidence because WikiLeaks waited too long, and let the criminals surrounding Trump consolidate their power while investing deeply in the myth of the Russians hacked the election; a criminal cabal that will up the ante on the world stage to any level necessary to avoid accountability. WikiLeaks Idiots. WikiLeaks Morons.
Meanwhile, Murray subsequently barred from the United States (except that he applies for a visa, typically unnecessary for a British citizen) appears to have been, in a manner of speaking, a deep state message to Murray: ‘thank you very much for the lapse of judgement, we have taken full advantage with the assassination of Seth Rich and we won’t be requiring your services after this’ (he’d be smart to stay away.)
The really sticky problem for WikiLeaks in this scenario is, Seymour Hersh asserts in the recorded call WikiLeaks had paid Rich for the leaked documents, damaging or reducing to element of pretense WikiLeaks claims of journalism & providing rationale for deep state prosecutors & judges to find this had been straightforward espionage. But they won’t do it if the Rich-Murray meeting stays buried, a LOT is invested in ‘the Russians did it’ for the public consumption. If it DOES break open, Murray’s ‘goose is cooked.’ It’s now not only WikiLeaks problem in a larger sense, but Murray’s, whether he does or doesn’t admit the assassinated Seth Rich had been the DNC mails source.

Don’t believe for one minute the USA intelligence agency behaviors (murders of American citizens) had only begun with the new ‘color of law’ assassinations under Obama. This has gone on by far predating Dick Cheney, who merely kicked a long concealed history of intelligence agency murders into overdrive. In the ‘cleanest’ of times assassinations of ‘enemies’ as determined by (the CIA fronts for) corporate boards, are simply farmed out to 3rd parties, whether foreign intelligence agencies in a quid pro quo arrangement, or simply handed off under cover (laundered) to private contracting parties, professional hit men, which are oftentimes former agency employees contracted as free agents.
The aura of invincibility surrounding these intelligence agencies is a deliberately cultivated lie and in many instance is undeserved. It is important people be aware these agencies which operate both: outside the law and on the extreme edge, not only engage in extra-judicial murder but have historically corrupted many fine persons drawn into their web, are not even close to invincible. Would be recruits should think long and hard at joining agencies where supervising talents in some cases might be closer to comic book reality than real world common sense.
Since 2001, in addition to historic causes for attrition in the ranks such as moving to private sector, there has been an accelerated phenomena of the ‘best in the business’ have been either leaving or have been driven out of the CIA over ethics issues. Mossad has suffered from this ideological attrition for a longer overall period. It would be logical this will the case with MI6 and other agencies as well. This process of attrition leaves more and more ideologically driven senior leadership, leading to poor strategic planning, with less competence and experience in middle management and numerous green operatives. The resultant overall quality loss has been responsible for risks taken that were unthinkable in previous times and circumstance. The consequence is often embarrassing, even deadly.
One only need look at the “incredibly clumsy” rendition of an Egyptian cleric in Italy resulting in arrest warrants for two dozen or so CIA operatives, or the “botched” attempted assassination of Kalid Meschal resulting in captured MOSSAD agents by Jordan, or Mossad’s blown Dubai assassination of the HAMAS operative where the target was killed but the agents were also badly compromised, just a few better known examples of numerous breakdowns in operations. In recent years, a large American CIA operation had been taken down in Lebanon by Hezbollah and Iran due to poor discipline on the parts of the CIA assets and their handlers who’d been regularly meeting at Pizza Hut and Starbucks in Beirut, pointing to the quality of field operations degenerated to nearly amateur level.
With the CIA having decided to leak the fact clandestine operations of the two agencies, CIA & MOSSAD, have established a certain degree of fusion, released as a psychological ploy (neither agency is particularly bright these days), it brought into perspective a phenomena I had puzzled over for some time; how it was I’d drawn the attempted lethal attention of both institutions in a matter of two weeks (in the Fall of 2007.) A case of leaked accountability to Newsweek magazine establishes the CIA & MOSSAD were working joint assassinations by February, 2008. Before we delve into the dilemma of twin valid but seeming mutually exclusive realities, it does to examine reality itself as a mutating phenomenon. To begin, I’ll point to experience of my own; an inability to recapture in virtual reality [on the internet] a clear image I recall from youtube some 8 to 9 or so years ago. There was a reasonable video in good resolution, not high definition when close-up, but good enough the party who’d uploaded it was able to zoom in [expand] the shot several times and freeze frame it. What the closest frozen [now a still] shot created demonstrated was, so-called ‘Flight 175’ had 1) a pod, clearly a pod, attached using pylon(s), to the right underside of 2) a cargo jet (no row of passenger windows.) It must have been taken down quickly, I couldn’t find it again although I recall trying to find it shortly after; and these days, searching the net, there is no such footage, in fact what footage there is, is entirely different angle and poor resolution…
…the footage I’d seen was from entirely different location or behind Flight 175 looking head on into the south tower, with no commentary and no attribution. But the above ‘extra equipment’ segment from ‘The Ripple Effect’ is still worth a watch.
Did I actually see what I remember? I have no reason to doubt the veracity of my memory but should question myself nonetheless and can easily project others would have doubts. This recalls Thomas Paine:
“It is a contradiction in terms and ideas, to call anything a revelation that comes to us at second-hand, either verbally or in writing. Revelation is necessarily limited to the first communication — after this, it is only an account of something which that person says was a revelation made to him; and though he may find himself obliged to believe it, it cannot be incumbent on me to believe it in the same manner; for it was not a revelation made to me, and I have only his word for it that it was made to him”
Whether you should believe as I have related is entirely up to you. Insofar as questioning myself, did I dream it? Many people have difficulty distinguishing between something similar to ‘dream’ (memories playing tricks on us) from ‘reality’ and illusionists play on this frailty of human psychology everyday. Intelligence agencies have entire departments devoted to manipulating peoples’ reality by exploiting this phenomenon.
But then, there are so-called ‘evidence based’ realities where facts are, or have been, close at hand with interpretations by multiple professionals, and these professionals have considered the ‘evidence’ in concert with the other professionals (in the same or closely related field) who place similar values or interpretations on the same or related evidence, to arrive at a consensus. This is not necessarily reality per se but is a form of creating collective reality more or less specific to that group and for those outside the group which embrace that particular group’s findings.
So, what then, when two groups of highly trained professionals, from very different fields, look at a macro-body of evidence and come to startlingly different conclusions? Seeming mutually exclusive conclusions? It happens. And it happens to groups of intelligent people.
Now, when a group of intelligence and law enforcement professionals are convinced al-Qaida, based on what they know to be sound evidence with multiple confirming sources, flew planes into the twin towers, and a group of architects and engineers, based on what they know to be sound evidence, confirmed by multiple engineering principles, are convinced plane strikes are not what brought the towers down and consequently box-cutter wielding Arabs could not have been responsible for 9/11, what is happening?
To begin, innate primate behavior (humans are primates and anthropologists see this same behavior in our closely related chimps) demands each group’s social cohesion be preserved. Accordingly, both groups have staked out their territory and there is little trespassing. In this case, there is also little cross-cultural examination, shared between the groups, precluding common undertaking of resolving the competing portraits of the 911 event. Without this opportunity at ‘brain-storming’ what the actual issues might be, there is stasis.
However ‘intelligence’ is the ‘softer’ science than engineers relying on principles of physics, with much greater risk the interpretations could be off-mark, no matter behavior profiles, multiple sources and wiretaps point to the ‘Arabs’ (primarily Saudis) as the responsible parties. With this in mind, it is interesting to deconstruct a relevant portion of Thomas Drake’s interview (transcript at the link) with Paul Jay and the Real News:
The Man Who Presumed Too Much?
Playing on the Real News title ‘the man who knew too much’, we’ll look at some unscientific assumptions made by Drake, but first I’ll give a short summary of this portion of the interview (video, above.) It is established that, prior to 911, there was adequate intelligence to round up key al-Qaida players who were established (beyond a reasonable doubt) to have communications with al-Qaida (central) abroad, as well Saudi intelligence, and were training to fly planes. It is also established that Dick Cheney had ordered the intelligence agencies (including FBI) NOT to focus on terrorism. More than this, Cheney had established his own clandestine back channels, within the American intelligence apparatus, to independently know what was happening even as he took action to ‘kneecap’ those very intelligence services ability to perform their respective missions via normal channels. As well, Drake asserts Cheney utilized this undermining of intelligence to allow 9/11 be brought off. Now…
JAY: Same thing. Coleen Rowley I’ve interviewed. And maybe we’ll link to her interview so you can find them as we’re doing this. She said in the interview, ’cause I asked her a somewhat similar question, she said the FBI was specifically told, don’t prioritize terrorism, by Cheney. That was actual instructions, that this is not the priority of our administration, which is part of why she says they couldn’t get the FBI’s attention, to really pay attention to what they had found in Minneapolis.

DRAKE: That still doesn’t matter, though. I realize that’s a huge factor in terms of saying it isn’t, but you’re obligated under the Constitution to provide for the common defense. If you have information that rises to a level that says something is happening and it’s going to be really bad, you’ve got to share it, you’ve got to bring in the key people, you’ve got to take action to prevent it. That’s the whole point. Now, if you–I have argued this. I’ve said this before. That whole process was subverted by Cheney and company.
…what Drake has just done is to hold a technocratic assemblage, built on bureaucratic principle, to a high constitutional ideal that doesn’t so much as exist outside of his own head in the intelligence agency environment; necessarily overlooking 1) the so-called National Security Act of 1947 had become foundation that saw built 2) a ‘color of law’ scheme where a now patently faux constitutional order is become artificial or thespian event for 3) a consolidation of fascism of which the NSA is a structural prop. Demanding (this was Snowden’s misapprehension as well) technocrats in such an environment be constitutionally literate and motivated to a degree they can over-ride instructions with ideals their employment had been designed to subvert from the get-go, is more than a peculiar narcissism, it is oxymoron.
Now, the presumption just gets worse. The new ‘Pearl Harbor’ Cheney desired, to consolidate power in the executive office, is somehow going to take an ‘unknown form’ but recall Drake himself doesn’t seem to realize the NSA itself is part and parcel of the anti-constitutional order:

How is it Drake can, in certain terms, state Cheney’s people didn’t know what or when, only they waited for something big? Because Cheney said so? Certainly Cheney has not. This is a PRESUMPTION. But because Drake is a ‘constitutional narcissist’ (read the entire series transcripts) as opposed to a realist that should be able to step out of his bubble of perception and understand his National Security Agency is, in and of itself, a structure antithetical to constitutional order; his ability to grasp what is actually happening would in any case suffer severe perceptual strictures. Recalling we have (these days) a few thousand architects and engineers have been willing to stick their necks out and dispute planes brought down the twin towers on 9/11, what should Drake have been looking at in relation to the known facts of al-Qaida learning to fly planes and Cheney providing the same cover?
Likely (almost certainly, in this investigator’s mind) it went down something like this: al-Qaida believed they would be able to target, with small planes, American symbols like the Oval Office or other highly symbolic targets but actually had been set up as a patsy for “The Enterprise”, also pulling in Bandar bin Sultan and the Saudis, as further insurance, with the so-called ‘28 pages‘ pointing away from the real culprits. Meanwhile, these next paragraphs by Mark Gorton are a good match to events set out in my own work, the excellent work of Jeff Sharlet, and the work of a Pentagon liaison to the CIA, L Fletcher Prouty:

Or, is that a wrong question? None of the preceding would cancel the hard science disputing Arabs with box cutters brought down the towers. Shouldn’t the question rather be what is high profile whistle-blower Thomas Drake’s (and not only Drake’s) mental state; in circumstance the intelligence professional cannot see through their own technocratic culture’s myopia and narcissistic bias?

The Washington DC End of the DNC Mails Story
or How Lies Meant to ‘backstop’ Lies Invites Fall-guys
“Crowdstrike, a firm that analyzes threats to network security, revealed that the DNC had called it in to inspect the party’s servers, where it found “two separate Russian intelligence-affiliated adversaries present in the DNC network.” Crowdstrike released a comprehensive report of its findings on June 14, which accompanied a Washington Post article detailing the attacks. One of the hacking groups, Crowdstrike found, had access to the DNC servers for almost a year”
Now, recalling the preceding, look at this next, a case of ‘he said, she said’
“According to the [DNC] group, the FBI never asked to see their servers. But FBI Director James Comey told the Senate Intelligence Committee back in January that the FBI did”
In any case, the FBI was more than willing (to the time things became ‘sticky’ and routine face-saving lies to Congress becomes necessary) to rely on ‘Crowdstrike’ instead of conducting their own analysis. But Crowdstrike is a true ‘Tar-Baby’ of Uncle Remus fame…
…pointing back to Clintonistas at the Obama era John Brennan’s CIA via Google’s 100 million investment in Crowdstrike. Google has been an agency project from its inception:
“It is not precisely clear when the company caught the attention of America’s intelligence agencies, but high-level whistleblowers suggest it was early on in the company’s history. In a 2006 interview, ex-CIA agent Robert David Steele suggested that it was from the very outset.
“I think Google took money from the CIA when it was poor and it was starting up,” Steele said in the interview. “They’ve been together for quite a while”
“Steele also fingered the company’s point man in the CIA: Dr. Rick Steinheiser in the Office of Research and Development”
This earlier reporting, by Corbett Report, is reinforced with subsequent investigative reporting by Insurge Intelligence:
“Thuraisingham’s account … demonstrates that the CIA-NSA-MDDS program was not only partly funding Brin throughout his work with Larry Page developing Google, but that senior US intelligence representatives including a CIA official [Dr Rick Steinhieser] oversaw the evolution of Google in this pre-launch phase, all the way until the company was ready to be officially founded. Google, then, had been enabled with a “significant” amount of seed-funding and oversight from the Pentagon: namely, the CIA, NSA, and DARPA” [sic]
In the case of following CIA linked investments, Google doesn’t invest 100 million in anything that will not become agency invested-responsive. That’s Crowdstrike. But there’s more.
Next, we come to the problem with the so-called (British MI6 veteran spook Christopher Steele produced, not to be confused with former CIA officer Robert Steele) ‘Steele Dossier’ and the idea it isn’t so much what it does contain or does not contain, inasmuch as what it actually accomplishes, versus what it had been intended to accomplish.
It was in this phase, Guccifer 2.0 had dropped the now thoroughly debunked bomb…

“This was then saved as 1.doc, 2.doc and 3.doc,” he said. “Then 30 minutes later, on another computer, with MS-Word registered to the Russian name (the Soviet secret police founder that has been dead for almost a century). Each of those files was opened, had content copied into it (assumably from the original documents) and was then saved (writing the Russian name into the metadata at that time)”
…at WordPress it was he responsible for hacking the DNC and his documents subsequently identified as Russia originated, a story immediately picked up and run with by reliable Central Intelligence Agency cover story laundering outlets Washington Post (here) and New York Times (here.) But Russian intelligence would never be so stupid and we know now the Guccifer documents had initially been copied into a computer registered to Warren Flood, a sometimes DNC operative and former computer tech for Joe Biden. Thank Crowdstrike for that, a choice made to throw the bloodhounds off, credit should always be given where credit is due. And then…
…the duped Clintonistas at the DNC immediately ran with this disinformation to the CIA connected Fusion GPS (the DoJ-CIA inter-agency/incest/compromised connections are there) which in turn handed it off (sub-contracted it) to Britain based Orbis Business Intelligence and ex-MI6 spook Christopher Steele who created (out of thin air) ‘evidence’ the Russians had colluded with Trump. This ‘evidence’ was, in turn, fed (by Steele) to the Clintonistas at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, entrapping the Department of Justice’s FBI (a case of poetic justice concerning the masters of entrapment) who were more than happy to take a ‘reputable’ spook’s report at face value. What the Clintonistas at the DoJ and FBI, in their ecstatic state at the ‘dossier’ content, failed to recall is, spooks are trained and paid perjurors, in the first degree:
“Professional standards require intelligence professionals to lie, hide information, or use covert tactics to protect their “cover,” access, sources, and responsibilities. The Central Intelligence Agency expects, teaches, encourages, and controls these tactics so that the lies are consistent and supported (“backstopped”). The CIA expects intelligence officers to teach others to lie, deceive, steal, launder money, and perform a variety of other activities that would certainly be illegal if practiced in the United States. They call these tactics “tradecraft,” and intelligence officers practice them in all the world’s intelligence services” -Hulnick & Mattausch, “Ethics and Morality in U.S. Secret Intelligence”
This small fact is an imperative part of spook job description. More than ‘coincidental’ to this, by the time John Brennan had met with James Comey at the end of 2016, and Comey came away ‘agreeing’ with the ‘intelligence’ promoted by the CIA … it was too late for the DoJ’s FBI to back out of what by then they had begun to realize was a bogus dossier, a ‘novel’ if you will. But now that it’s too late, with the FBI badly trapped in the CIA’s lies or ‘bought in’ to running with the story whether they like it or not; if/when the entire operation comes unglued, it is the Department of Justice will become the patsy (and deservedly so.)
Did the CIA deliberately entrap the FBI? At some point, certainly yes, knowing they would need their ‘Russians hacked the election’ information operation (PSYOP) ‘backstopped’ (spook lingo for a credible witness to back up the lie.) The DNC’s Crowdstrike hire is where the CIA’s operation had to have been initiated, Guccifer is certainly their asset, and it was the Orbis MI6 veteran spook, Christopher Steele, was tasked with entrapping the FBI, the real reason behind his having independently-incrementally fed the false ‘dossier’ information to the Clintonistas at FBI and DoJ (who lapped it up like shit-eating dogs.)
Clearly Google invested Crowdstrike profiles (strongly) as the CIA asset which had been tasked with manufacturing evidence, for the cover story Central Intelligence would create to exploit the DNC data loss, and the FBI was encouraged to rely on the Crowdstrike exam of the DNC servers to keep that agency from having investigators develop and be in possession of information at odds with the CIA’s story line.
This all having been clumsily engineered and destined to unravel comes as no surprise at all, the Central Intelligence Agency senior management of the present day is beyond stupid:
Meanwhile, over at WikiLeaks, Julian Assange completely blew his so-called ‘whistle-blowing’ organization’s opportunity to set the record straight … and those of you who’d read Incompetent Espionage & WikiLeaks (III) know the rest of the story, republished here:
“Under this deal, which was reported by the Wall Street Journal, Assange would provide conclusive proof that Russia was not the source of hacked emails WikiLeaks published. In return, he would be offered a pardon, or some other assurance that he wouldn’t be prosecuted by the US for involvement in WikiLeaks.
“Rohrabacher brought this deal to the White House Wednesday [13 September 2017], but Chief of Staff John Kelly not only apparently didn’t like the offer, but didn’t tell President Trump that the offer had been made, instead telling Rohrabacher to take the proposal to the intelligence community.
“The intelligence community almost certainly wouldn’t be in a position to offer any sort of amnesty for Assange, which likely means the end of the proposal. Rohrabacher offered to set up a meeting between Assange and a Trump representative, but that too appears to have been dismissed by Kelly”
So, the generals keep Trump sequestered like the Vatican keeps a rampant pedophile priest under wraps; away from any real work and responsibilities (in this case, kept from knowledge of what’s actually going on in the world.) But now, with the Wall Street Journal blowing the whistle, Ivanka should soon be whispering in her daddy’s ear; and what will tell you everything is, what happens next. Suppose Trump keeps his mouth shut and says nothing? This will indicate the absolute completion of the Pence aligned generals capture of the Oval Office.
But the real news here is, Assange provides evidence of his belief that he is personally more important than any unconditional release of information which should stop the Pentagon and NATO’s pursuit of a war footing directed at Russia in its tracks.
Narcissism? Is there a stronger word? Julian Assange, who fancies himself ‘Jesus of the Digital Age’ would appear to be tired of bearing his cross. The Roman’s puppet, King Herod, hasn’t been authorized to provide the pardon and Pontius Pilate’s (read Mike Pompeo’s) people will deliver Jesus of the Digital Age to crucifixtion on behalf of the ‘duopoly’ mob, to satisfy their blood lust. Good luck with the world’s biggest ‘deal-maker’ (read loser) Wikileaks, because you blew it by waiting too long.
The entire sand-castle (a product of Obama CIA Director John Brennan’s imagination) the “Russians hacked the election” is finally washing away with an incoming tide. How this plays out is anyone’s guess.
The open question is, how the new information will be leveraged, if it were to actually break into the open widely, with the bad boy Trump essentially captured by the surreal evil that surrounds him. 1 August 2017 an audio tape is leaked in which Seymour Hersh states the FBI knows it was Seth Rich leaked the DNC mails:
“What the [FBI] report says is that some time in late Spring… he makes contact with WikiLeaks, that’s in his computer. Anyway, they found what he had done is that he had submitted a series of documents — of emails, of juicy emails, from the DNC” -Seymour Hersh
On 9 August 2017 The Nation magazine publishes a column on a group of independent experts…
“Forensic investigators, intelligence analysts, system designers, program architects, and computer scientists of long experience and strongly credentialed are now producing evidence disproving the official version of key events last year”
…demonstrating the DNC mails were leaked, not hacked.
On 18 August 2017 Antiwar.com reports Congressman Dana Rohrabacher has met with Assange concerning the DNC mails and [the article] further credibly suggests Assange is holding the DNC leak evidence hostage as a bargaining chip to possibly acquire a pardon for himself and leverage wikileaks into legitimacy with a President of the United States who at this point is owned by the USA’s intelligence agencies, a hare-brained scheme destined to fail. Assange & company waited too long.
But this would fit Julian Assange’s self-centered, persecuted-savior complex which never ceases to amaze, this guy (as well, Craig Murray) has allowed the idiots surrounding Trump to push us towards the brink with Russia, for months. All because Assange is tired of his embassy confinement in London, a circumstance that is entirely his own fault for the fact he didn’t have the self-discipline to keep his dick in his pants (whether Assange’s admitted intercourse was a case of rape or not.)
What’s more is, this blog pointed to strong circumstantial evidence it was Seth Rich leaked the DNC mails this past January, and recalling this, it still stretches the imagination a former UK ambassador would make an amateur espionage move worthy of a cub scout playing spy. But that’s what Craig Murray had done in the case of the DNC emails leaked to WikiLeaks.

That Murray would be a high value target for American counter-intelligence to monitor for the reason of his high profile association with WikiLeaks is beyond obvious. For Murray then to state…
“I know who leaked them. I’ve met the person who leaked them, and they are certainly not Russian and it’s an insider. It’s a leak, not a hack; the two are different things”
…goes to the practically bizarre when coming from a former United Kingdom ambassador to Uzbekistan. The UK is little different to the USA in the case of embassies providing cover for spies; in which case Murray should at least have some rudimentary espionage understanding such as YOU DO NOT MEET YOUR SOURCE DIRECTLY WHEN YOU ARE A HIGH PROFILE TARGET OF YOUR ADVERSARY’S COUNTER-INTELLIGENCE HUNTING YOUR (in this case, WikiLeaks) SOURCE(S)
Then, we had WikiLeak’s Assange giving what amounts to a ‘Glomar’ ‘I will neither confirm or deny’ response concerning the murder (assassination) of Seth Rich after appearing to suggest Rich was the source of the DNC emails leak:
Beyond this, WikiLeaks offering a $20,000 reward for the solving of the Seth Rich murder is laughable, that’s what an American west coast upscale community would offer for the arrest of a serial killer of the neighborhood’s cats. Two million dollars might get two seconds’ attention of a corruptible counter-intelligence agent with knowledge of a professional hit on Seth Rich, twenty million might even net an inside the agency sucker willing to take the exceedingly high risk to one’s life (almost certain death) that would attend selling out an agency hit man for substantial lucre. In truth, the WikiLeaks reward offer amounted to little more than a tabloid publicity stunt.
Narcissism is a blinding thing; and a self-righteous narcissism is no exception. Ambassador Murray could have every good intention but on the face of it, he had seriously screwed up. Murray and WikiLeaks should have immediately come clean, there was little to lose. Seth Rich was the source, Murray had met with him, and much could have been gained by stating so; there would be nothing given up any intelligence agency involved did not already know. It have been the right thing to do.
Craig Murray stating ‘I had a serious lapse of professional judgement and this resulted in the death of Seth Rich’ would be the most responsible and newsworthy move WikiLeaks could have taken; to counter the CIA’s ‘the Russians hacked the DNC’ propaganda lie, in which there is much invested by the agency; and the consequent damage to relations with Russia, and growing threat to what little world peace yet exists, is immense. WikiLeaks should have done the right thing a long time ago and they have not. Why not? Because Assange and WikiLeaks believes Assange’s comfort is more important than world peace. What fucks. This is beyond inexcusable, it’s criminal. But for Murray, there’s more at stake here than just a hit to ego & image.
Murray’s likely role in the DNC leaks case? A personal meeting with Rich to confirm for WikiLeaks Seth Rich was a bona fide insider with authentic material prior to a WikiLeaks cash payment to Rich and arrangements completed for the mails transfer.
Now, it is a question of ‘damned if you do and damned if you don’t’ release the evidence because WikiLeaks waited too long, and let the criminals surrounding Trump consolidate their power while investing deeply in the myth of the Russians hacked the election; a criminal cabal that will up the ante on the world stage to any level necessary to avoid accountability. WikiLeaks Idiots. WikiLeaks Morons.
Meanwhile, Murray subsequently barred from the United States (except that he applies for a visa, typically unnecessary for a British citizen) appears to have been, in a manner of speaking, a deep state message to Murray: ‘thank you very much for the lapse of judgement, we have taken full advantage with the assassination of Seth Rich and we won’t be requiring your services after this’ (he’d be smart to stay away.)
The really sticky problem for WikiLeaks in this scenario is, Seymour Hersh asserts in the recorded call WikiLeaks had paid Rich for the leaked documents, damaging or reducing to element of pretense WikiLeaks claims of journalism & providing rationale for deep state prosecutors & judges to find this had been straightforward espionage. But they won’t do it if the Rich-Murray meeting stays buried, a LOT is invested in ‘the Russians did it’ for the public consumption. If it DOES break open, Murray’s ‘goose is cooked.’ It’s now not only WikiLeaks problem in a larger sense, but Murray’s, whether he does or doesn’t admit the assassinated Seth Rich had been the DNC mails source.
On 15 December 2017, The New York Times ran an editorial piece by Mikheil Saakashvili, with the NYT altogether neglecting to mention Saakashvili is not only wanted (arrest warrant) in his native Georgia for corruption, abuse of power and shielding murderers from prosecution, but is increasingly implicated in the murders of some 80 police and protestors in February of 2014. This latter, Ukraine event, the so-called ‘Maidan Massacre’, has risen to a level of ‘preponderance of the evidence’ necessary for a civil conviction of Saakashvili under USA law, and were the known, necessary parties [witnesses] available to honest prosecution, almost certainly a criminal ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’ conviction could be reached as well. Yet, the Times ran this man’s opinion piece as though he were a lily-white reformer, unjustly persecuted, as Saakashvili claims.
The evidence timeline:
Initially, an intercepted, leaked phone call between the European Union’s Cathrine Ashton and the Estonian foreign minister (verified as authentic by the Estonian), indicates it was a member (or members) of the new USA supported Ukrainian administration were behind the snipers who killed both protestors and police during confrontation in February 2014 at Kiev. (conversation begins about 2 minutes into this youtube posting)
John Kerry had claimed it was the ousted (Russia friendly, Yanukovych) administration behind the snipers.
Subsequently, in April 2015, a Polish MEP (Member of European Parliament), who happens to be a conservative Catholic – indicating an honest man – as opposed to the more typical Polish-Catholic Russophobe, states in a Polish press interview, the Maidan snipers were trained in Poland by USA intelligence services:

Answer: “Maidan was also our operation. The snipers were trained in Poland”

In November 2017, Italian investigative journalist, Gian Micalessin, has interviewed three of the snipers who shot the people in Maidan square. They were Georgians sent to Ukraine by security services people aligned with American allied-educated Mikhail Saakashvili. American Brian Christopher Boyenger ran the sniper operation on location:
“Both [witnesses] Nergadze and Zalogy are linked to former Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili”
“All three of our participants say that they were recruited at the end of 2013 by Mamuka Mamulashvili, a Saakashvili military advisor who, after the Maidan action, will move to the Donbass, to lead the so-called Georgian Legion in clashes with ethnic Russian insurgents”
““One day around February 15 [states Alexander] Mamualashvili personally visited our tent. There was another guy in his uniform with him. He introduced him and told us he was an instructor, an American soldier.” The US military veteran Brian Christopher Boyenger, is a former officer and sniper for the 101st Airborne Division. After Maidan, [Boyenger] moves on to the Donbass front, where he will fight in the ranks of the Georgian Legion alongside Mamulashvili”
““We were always in touch with this Bryan, [Nergadze explains] he was a Mamulashvili man. It was he who gave us the orders. I had to follow all his instructions“”
““On February 18 [recalls Zalogy] someone took some weapons to my room. In the room with me there were two Lithuanians, the weapons were unpacked by them.””
This preceding, newest information, begins to bring a larger picture into focus; the Lithuanian snipers, taken together with the American, are consistent with the Polish account of a CIA operation. Saakashvili was brought into power by the so-called ‘Pink Revolution’ and this Saakashvili associated veteran’s statement points to old allegations the Pink Revolution had been a CIA engineered event are more than credible.
Now, certain statements of Saakashvili himself, in his Times editorial, are worth examining:
“By November, I, along with a team of my former Georgian colleagues, helped create a new Ukrainian police force. We also completely transformed the corrupt way state contracts were purchased and helped to form the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, a watchdog. At that time, Mr. Poroshenko welcomed our help. He described me as “a great friend of Ukraine” and granted me and other Georgian reformers citizenship.
Several of us were invited to join the Ukrainian government. One became the head of the national police force and another was appointed minister of health. Another Georgian became the deputy director of the anticorruption [sic] bureau”
What appears to have happened here is, Central Intelligence had, subsequent to the 2014 coup and related massacre, used Saakashvili to initiate building a so-called ‘5th column’ into civil Ukrainian security structures, aside from the American trained and supplied (overt, NATO, Pentagon), and battlefield advised (covert, Central Intelligence) military structures. The purpose of penetrating the civil security structures would be, primarily, to build ‘leverage’ within the civil administrative apparatus to better control recalcitrant personalities, President Poroshenko especially, for reasons having to do with the Ukrainians put into power were, in the beginning, too stupid (Svoboda or neo-nazis) to manipulate properly, and in the subsequent case of Poroshenko, too stubborn.
Poroshenko, was willing to bring Saakashvili onboard, they had, after all, been partners in crime to a point of closeness where the only sensible question in any circumstance of betrayal between the two would be ‘et tu Brute?’ But Poroshenko somehow got wind of (was tipped) to what Saakashvili, a long time CIA asset, was actually up to, and began counter-moves to block him, leading to the circumstance of today.
What Poroshenko does understand is, the USA’s pressure to take on the Donbass ethnic Russian rebels will see him deposed and the east of Ukraine lost to the Dnieper River, inclusive of Odessa and Kiev. Putin has made clear the present, Russophobic, regime controlling Kiev, will not be allowed to militarily overrun the ethnic Russian Donbass region of Ukraine. Putin has also stated his military would take Kiev in two weeks time, maximum, if and when a decision is taken to do so. But this is what NATO wants, to further politically isolate Russia as an ‘aggressor’ state and justify its military buildup on Russia’s borders. The NATO problem is Poroshenko gives lip-service to this but doesn’t initiate the wider military action in the rebel region necessary to actually trigger Russia.
What Saakashvili apparently does not understand is, his currency as an asset for the CIA is about expended. Saakashvili’s Central Intelligence asset track record:
1) CIA ‘color revolution’ in Georgia, successful.
2) Led Georgia’s NATO (Condoleezza Rice engineered) proxy war with Russia, 2008, and badly mishandled it.
3) Lost Georgia itself, as a NATO proxy state, with his incompetent handling of domestic fallout from the 2008 war, lost in several absolutely humiliating ways, to Russia.
4) Co-author of CIA ‘color revolution’ (coup) in Ukraine, winter of 2013-14, successful.
5) CIA insertion into Ukraine’s administrative apparatus, 2015-16, mishandled.
6) CIA December 2017 counter-revolution to it’s own February 2014 coup, in progress.
It is this last which bodes very ill for Saakashvili. His score in polls is at 2% or less. There is virtually no chance of success, despite other western intelligence assets (example given, Yulia Tymoshenko of Germany’s Bundesnachrichtendienst, as well, spook controlled groups and NGOs such as ‘civil society’ fronts), offering what amounts to artificial support.
In chess terms, CIA asset Saakashvili has been devalued, from a rook (castle) to pawn, to be sacrificed on the board-game of geopolitics. Saakashvili’s handlers know he cannot win this most recent gambit. What does his sacrifice accomplish? To remind (send a message to) Poroshenko, pointing out who actually calls the shots by demonstrating Poroshenko’s helplessness to deal with Saakashvili. This first part has already been accomplished. The second act should be upcoming assassination of Saakashvili, to be blamed on either Poroshenko or Putin, depending on whether or not Poroshenko begins to ‘play ball’, while ridding the CIA of a badly compromised asset and possible problematic witness, that is Saakashvili, were he to be apprehended in a competent jurisdiction of law and held account to his recently exposed crimes.
Meanwhile, The New York Times, a CIA asset since the days of “Operation Mockingbird“, brings the western world Saakashvili’s (actually the agency’s) ‘cover story’ when neglecting to point out any of the known, compromising facts, concerning Mikhail Saakashvili.

Following colonization, along came ‘decolonization’ and what do you suppose happened with colonial borders? They mostly remained as laid down by the colonizers. Where were the ‘decolonization’ rules written down? In the colonizers (western) international law. What is the economic system inherited by the colonized states? More or less, the colonizers system of western capitalism.
Whether it is the leadership of China wearing the western attire inherited from Karl Marx, The Native American ‘Business Council’ member in a coat and tie, or the numerous Black Africans suited up at the United Nations, the heritage of being colonized is in every direction one looks.
Colonization wasn’t only the physical presence of the ‘worst offenders’, that is Spaniards, Portuguese, Dutch, British, French, Germans and Belgians, it was their ideas had dominated and continue to dominate. Colonialism isn’t over by a long shot.
The United Nations (especially) is a colonizing entity. NATO (especially) is a colonizing entity. The European Union (especially) is a colonizing entity. The United States (especially) is a colonizing entity. Multinational corporations (especially) are a colonizing entity. And finally (for the purposes of this essay, but not exhaustively), International Law is a colonizing entity.
The habit of the colonizers has been to create unnatural, or artificial organisms of ‘state’ with a tendency to internal cultural conflict and, consequently, a potential for civil strife that can be manipulated. Example given, this had been the USA creating a single or contiguous block(s) of land or ‘reservations’ for indigenous tribes with a history of mutual hostility, as in case of the Cheyenne and Crow tribes forcibly settled together, to preoccupy those peoples and deflect any immediate, ongoing aspiration to self-determination (of the Cheyenne, particularly) following conquest.
You see this general model, in one form or another, throughout the supposedly ‘decolonized’ present day world; whether Sunni/Shia Iraq or, more recently, ethnic Serb/Albanian Kosovo or Serb/Muslim/Croatian Bosnia, where ‘international law’ enforced borders sustain unnatural cultural entities of state.
This creates potential for exploitable tensions. The result? The ‘former’ colonial powers self-justifying ongoing colonizing behaviors, whether NATO manipulating and controlling the breakup of the former Yugoslavia or the European Union imposing its will on Serbia in a subsequent coercion into an EU compliant Serbian state, with Germany and allies the thinly concealed neo-colonial powers. Old habits die hard. Alternatively, old colonizing habits don’t actually die but are morphed into several disguise with a new face concealing the same old demonic forces. Psychopathic-criminal cultures-personalities do not voluntarily surrender their business models, whether individuals or, collective entities comprised of the same.
The history is succinct. From egalitarian ‘pre-civilized‘ societies…

Poverty is a necessary component to prop up the privileged in the hierarchy. Conflict creates poverty and suborns the real wealth of stability to the benefit of the unstable and artificially wealthy.
As example, one can make an educated projection of Germany suborning Serbia’s development to Germany’s advantage based on both developmental history (with USA complicity, Konrad Adenauer was responsible for major Nazi war criminal pardons) and practical history of the Konrad Adenauer Siftung with an office in Belgrade…

…foretells anything good for Serbia. This, and the fact of Germany’s dominant position within the European Union, enforcing its economic will on large states like France, cannot speak to future success for small states like Serbia.
This is neo-colonialism and it begins with destroying national sovereignty with creating dependence; the avenue taken will be European Union regulations robbing the poorest of opportunity to market and creating a destitute class of peasants – by driving the small farmers off their land.
Meanwhile, tensions can be easily exploited with culturally unnatural borders, a classic method of colonizers, to distract from the robberies taking place within. Serbia is not only ripe for this, with the existing Serb majority communities within the north of Kosovo and along but inside the border with Bosnia, examples given, now with agents provocateur causing problems by stirring resentments between Orthodox and Muslim populations, to the disadvantage of both; both communities are exploited. This is typical work coordinated within intelligence agencies fronted by ‘civil society’ organizations.
Based on the Konrad Adenauer Siftung’s support for, and training of, neo-fascists who came to power in Ukraine via coup, I have to close this essay/assessment with dark humor concerning that foundation’s message at their Serbia office website, recalling this specific language:
“We cooperate with governmental institutions, political parties, civil society organizations and handpicked elites, building strong partnerships along the way”
This preceding, quoted, language points to subversion of the Serbian intelligentsia or educated class. Well, in Germany, you’re nobody if you’re not a ‘doctor’ (PhD) and that is so great a truism of this culture represented in the Konrad Adenauer Siftung covertly colonizing Serbia, one popular method of getting there is fraud:

Why is Trump fulfilling the wishes of religious extremists he more typically mocks? How is it Jared Kushner convinced Trump to choose hyper-extreme Christian Mike Pence over Chris Christie for Vice President? The short fact is, Pence would be Bibi Netanyahu’s hyper-right wing coalition partners’ choice of a Christian Zionist in the American executive and that smells more of ‘foreign influence’ than any of the recent Russian controversy, when it comes to actual meddling in the USA election.
Now, with Trump’s recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, there is already a push to rebuild the Jewish temple destroyed by the Roman commander Titus 1,948 years ago.
“The next step, the most important step, must be taken by the Jews. We need to begin going up to the Temple Mount is massive numbers. Once we do that, the Temple is the next inevitable step”
There is just a few big problems with this.
The site does not belong to Israel. Temple Mount is not Israel’s, according to United Nations resolutions and international law.
The site is holy to Muslims and destruction of Dome of the Rock and al Aqsa mosque, to make way for a Jewish temple at its’ original site will expand the issue to all Muslim nations, no longer a Palestinian issue. This ‘rebuilding’ of the Temple is openly advocated together with (and on account of) Trump’s action of recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
This violation of international law had to have passed muster with the religious right generals surrounding Trump, that is White House Chief of Staff General Kelly, Secretary of Defense General Mattis and National Security Advisor Lieutenant General McMaster. These are generals in a position to, but who’ve refused, to clean up an illegal movement within the larger United States armed forces essentially establishing conservative Christianity as an official religion in violation of the USA’s constitution and other laws, as documented extensively over this immediate past twelve years by the non-profit Military Religious Freedom Foundation.
Taken together, the circumstance sets up a war of civilizations playing to extreme religious conservatives on both sides of the Christian-Muslim divide, both believing in literal Armageddon, with a Jewish apocalyptic movement at its’ center. The American generals, who believe in the literal rebuilding of the Jewish temple as a matter of their extreme Christian faith, cannot be trusted to render legal, secular service in this scenario, they’ve already suborned American law to their ultra-conservative religious beliefs.
The immediate preceding recalls Trump’s bankruptcy lawyer and pick for ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, who could be described as so ultra-right, he’s far to the right of Netanyahu:
“There has never been a “two-state solution” – only a “two-state narrative.” The former never existed because a “solution” to the Israel-Palestinian dispute would have required, as a threshold matter, that Palestinians accept Israel as a Jewish state, renounce terrorism, discontinue anti-Israel incitement in their schools and abandon their desire to flood Israel with so-called “refugees” from other countries who never spent a day of their lives in Israel” –David Friedman
Like most people, to a greater or lesser degree, Friedman sees his world through a self-serving prism. The first sentence of his short paragraph is refreshingly straightforward. The remainder of the paragraph is notable for its stunning hypocrisy. Let’s examine the first sentence, first, and then have at the rest of the story.
The ‘two-state’ narrative has always been a lie. It’s not only a case of ‘actions speak louder than words’, but the driving idea of a ‘Greater Israel’ is behind the Israeli intransigence in negotiations (or better said, avoidance of negotiations) towards a so-called ‘two-state’ solution (which under Israeli diktat would be no solution at all.) It is combined social and cultural psychology demands (or drives) the Jewish state towards a ‘Greater Israel.’ This demand is embedded in the mythology of history where ‘Samaria’ and ‘Judea’ are, at one time or another in ancient past linked, aligned with, or integrated to the historical Kingdom of Israel, having little to do with the fact of modern Israel.
According to the Oxford:

This next pretty much nails it:
“The term Judea as a geographical term was revived by the Israeli government in the 20th century as part of the Israeli administrative district name Judea and Samaria Area for the territory generally referred to as the West Bank”
A state does not give the names of one’s historical mythology to an area except that state intends to assert sovereignty over the same. Prior to this, Judea had last been the name of the area under Hadrian’s rule, changed shortly after the era of Agrippa II, the last Roman approved ‘Herodian’, or ‘titular’ king of the Jews, who were NOT a sovereign people.
The so-called ‘two-state’ solution was, and always had been, a geopolitical lie. The purpose of that lie has been, and always had been, to satisfy political correctness relating to international law. The USA and it’s Christian Zionist cohorts never dared to support the annexation of the West Bank as a matter of stated policy, because to do so would be to openly support a rogue state in its transgressions (if a rogue state is to be defined as a state in persistent violation of international law.) This is the purpose the ‘two-state’ geopolitical lie has served, as a cover story that buys time towards implementing the inevitable ‘Greater Israel.’
Inevitable? The USA supported Friedman’s Israel is a nuclear armed state aggressively colonizing the West Bank (with Friedman’s staunch support.) There will be a Greater Israel or there will be mushroom clouds, or perhaps both. People who embrace myths of history are not particularly rational people and Israel is not a particularly rational state, relating to Friedman’s hypocritical finger-pointing at the Palestinians:
“For refugees, camps were shelters for the reconstruction of personal and social life, but were also seen as sites of great political significance, the material testimony of what was destroyed and ‘all that remains’ of more than four hundred cities, towns and villages forcefully cleansed throughout Palestine in the Nakba of 1947-9. “This rhetoric of double negation – the negation of negation – tallies well with what Saree Makdisi, talking about the Israeli refusal to acknowledge the Nakba, has termed ‘the denial of denial’, which is, he says, ‘a form of foreclosure that produces the inability – the absolutely honest, sincere incapacity – to acknowledge that denial and erasure have themselves been erased in turn and purged from consciousness.’ What has been denied is continuously repeated: Israel keeps on inflicting destruction on refugees and keeps on denying that a wrong has been done” –Eyal Weizman: ‘The Least Of All Possible Evils’ (Humanitarian Violence From Arendt To Gaza)
Which brings us to the rank hypocrisy going to the conclusion of Friedman’s small paragraph. If there were Jews who were enslaved or fled Roman rule, there were many, many more who stayed in what was no longer ‘Judea’ but what became Roman ruled Palaestina, renamed by the Roman Emperor Hadrian. Where are those ancient Jewish people’s descendants today? They’re in Palestine and they’re called Palestinians. The inconvenience for the modern Ashkenazi is, most of these indigenous people had, with passing time, converted to Islam.
Imagine your rural family’s city dwelling uncle Mordecai’s entire neighborhood (Jerusalem) had been convicted of treason by the Roman state and their sons and daughters were consequently enslaved and removed to Italy and surrounding area. Now, some 1,800 or more years later, Mordecai’s and his neighbors’ descendants show up and demand you give them your farm as their rightful inheritance because you are no longer Jewish. That’s what historical myths do to people.
This goes to the most crass aspect of Friedman’s hypocrisy when he had stated his conclusion to the Palestinians demand of a right to return:
“…their desire to flood Israel with so-called “refugees” from other countries who never spent a day of their lives in Israel”
So tell me, David Friedman (this is a rhetorical question), exactly what do your words describe better than Uncle Mordecai’s (put any European nationality here) neighborhood’s progeny descending on Palestine?
There is, after all, an experience shaping the Palestinian point of view.
Except now, with the USA recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and the associated, developing push to rebuild the Jewish temple on a very holy Muslim site, the ‘two state solution’ having been a lie all along, is no longer a Palestinian issue, it is become an issue for all of Islam.
To begin, it’s like owning gold but the gold isn’t in your actual possession, so, when the proverbial ‘shit hits the fan’ or e.g. a solar (or nuclear) generated magnetic pulse fries your iphone, and takes down the internet along with the grid, fuel can’t even be pumped out of the underground storage to fill your car, let alone run the trucks that fill your local grocery shelves, just what the f**k do you expect you can do with your gold or Bitcoin? At this point it is merely an appendage of your memory and survival depends solely on your skills and whatever you might happen to have in your basement or garage. So, already Bitcoin doesn’t exist.
