The Ascension of The Morons

Germany is at the center of the European Union’s economic engine, Germany’s Angela Merkel’s Christian Democrats are narcissistic in the extreme about the European Union and now Germany is at the center of one of the greatest ‘bait and switch’ acts in political history; with Ukrainian candy oligarch Poroshenko signing the Ukraine-European Union Association Agreement.

‘Ascension’ should be the word of choice used by the western democracies in regards to offering ‘temptation’ and baiting struggling nations like Ukraine with fantasies of heavenly rewards relating to a common human desire to improve one’s lot. But what you see isn’t what you get.

Ethnic Ukrainians are looking more and more like some gullible, hillbilly cousin of the ethnic Russian Ukrainians who smell a rat in the European Union association agreement:

“The true cause of the eurozone crisis is cumulative loss of competitiveness by peripheral countries, not fiscal indiscipline. Germany has won the competitive race within the EMU by keeping its unit labour costs almost flat for nearly two decades. This has led to large current account deficits for the periphery, mirrored by large German surpluses. The deficits were financed for many years by cheap credit because of lax ECB monetary policy, causing the vast indebtedness of the periphery. The peripheral states are to all intents and purposes insolvent”

In other words, Germany has milked Greece dry and Portugal, Spain, Italy & France are not far behind. What is needed to pick up the European Monetary Union [EMU or Euro Zone], also known as artificially propping up the German economy at the expense of others is, a blood-bank for its vampires. Ukraine is the new victim intended to be drained of its life force and here is how in simplest terms:

Feed common Ukrainians patently false hopes of a magic-wand-like better life that will arrive with a pending (but absolutely not true) EU integration and membership:

“Yulia Tymoshenko, the former prime minister who was sprung from prison on Saturday after Yahukovych took it on the lam – and whose own years in office (ending in 2010) were far from corruption-free – told the Kiev crowds shortly after her release that she’s “sure that Ukraine will be a member of the European Union in the near future and this will change everything”

Next, after having ridden the coattails of USA (Zbigniew Brzezinski’s) neo-liberal geopolitical policy of isolating and cornering Russia, with Germany supporting a putsch in Ukraine (with ample closet support from American neo-conservative personalities) and see what happens in actuality; loss of Ukraine’s largest export market (Russia) for heavy industrial exports, with the attending collapse of Ukraine eastern industrial base whose product does not meet EU standards:

“we [Ukrainians] have little reason to believe that signing an association agreement would bring Ukraine closer to fully-fledged EU membership .. Prime Minister Mykola Azarov had said last October that Ukraine would have to come up with €165 billion over the next ten years to upgrade its economy to meet EU standards”

Come up with 165 billion Euro? The IMF and EU combined won’t fork 1/2 that much over in the next ten years, Ukrainian owned heavy industry will die out, but consequence of taking the money the western democracies do lend, will be to watch the western democracies wolves move in and implement model where Ukraine is become a slave to debt; requiring ‘privatization’, also known as selling assets and natural resources on the cheap to the very western democracies where Ukraine cannot export industrial goods to. Germany (particularly) will make money from the very resources the Ukrainian industry base can no longer develop. Meanwhile this will require ratcheting up ‘austerity’ so the interest on Ukraine’s massive, consequently un-repayable debt can be serviced- where mortal blow to already deeply troubled economy precludes expenditure on social programs (because you cannot afford pensions & social programs like unemployment, and service debt as well.)

Then, the little bit of borrowed cash and pittance remaining from selling out the nation’s resources that hasn’t been skimmed off by corruption, will be given back to the western democracies military-industrial corporations, used to buy weapons to hold a mounting insurgency in check; by increasingly alienated and desperate people-

‘Ascension’ to the European Union for Ukraine, beginning with the ‘association agreement’, is when you will no longer find toilet paper in the shops… an ‘ascension’ that’s certainly not very ‘christ-like.’ To the morons who sucked into this, particularly the neo-nazis the western democracies’ leaders will use and abandon like stooges, enjoy the diet handed to Ukraine by Merkel (it’s in the illustration.)

Have the CIA, in concert with MI6, DGSE & MOSSAD, contract former special operations forces to assist the opposition in Syria.

Realize too late, fundamentalists who source their training to initial American efforts in Iraq and recently boosted by the new endeavors of western intelligence, have become the most powerful factions in Syria.

Replace psycho-killer Petraeus at CIA with psycho-killer John Brennan.

Freak out at your own anti-Assad effort in Syria upon realizing who will be in control if CIA led effort to overthrow the regime is successful (Salifist fundamentalists, in some cases so extreme as to be disowned by al-Qaida.)

Distract people from what’s happening with the world class CIA screw-up in Syria with new caper engineered by same CIA, in Ukraine.

As Assad reasserts control in Syria, see thousands of well trained fundamentalists pour out of Syria across the border into Iraq, rout the Iraqi army and capture countless tons of American supplied weapons.

When Ukraine distraction has failed, blame Russia for everything.

Fail to realize the eventual assessment of the Christian fundamentalists running the Pentagon will be, the only sensible option is to nuke the Islamic fundamentalists, as well as Russians, Jews, Blacks, cartoonists, author of this blog, women, gays, anyone who doesn’t believe in literal Armageddon, people who sue the church (especially alter-boys that talk) …

Robert Parry and the Relativity of Truth

I’m not a fan of Robert Parry. This is not a disclaimer, rather it is a healthy aversion to disinformation that comes of both training and experience. What put me on to Robert Parry was an article at Consortium News on the history of the American ‘framers’ of our constitution, reproduced elsewhere (notably at ‘truth-out’), which I took some time to dissect and rebut. Looking back at the article and with only a few strokes of the keyboard, I notice Parry fancies himself an American constitutional scholar.

In one article Parry writes:

“In other words, the Right’s modern interpretation of the Founding Principles was not shared by the key Framers of the Constitution. Instead, the Right’s position on the Constitution apes the opposition to the Constitution by the Anti-Federalists, who warned that the new federal structure would subordinate the states to the central government and endanger slavery in the South.

“Despite that real history, today’s Right has largely succeeded in distorting the Founding Narrative to convince millions of lightly educated Americans that – by joining with the Tea Party – they are defending the Constitution as the Framers devised it when, in reality, they are channeling the views of those who fiercely opposed the Constitution”

Parry is hammering on disingenuous theme of the American federalists versus anti-federalists, essentially overlooking the dynamic between the two which had led to a COMPROMISE between the factions. Parry altogether omits what that compromise had been meant to accomplish, the ratification of our federal constitution with added checks on central power by avenue of an agreed upon ‘Bill of Rights’ to be subsequently and separately submitted for ratification subsequent to our constitution’s adoption by the several states. Parry writes as though these two philosophies were mutually exclusive phenomena but in fact they’d been fused into one document by separate but closely related process.

I write in my rebuttal of Parry’s presumed authority on the issue:

“I somehow doubt the anti-federalist 4th amendment concerning privacy had anything to do with propping up slavery, a given example of motivation in the anti-federalists’ actual intentions. Or the prohibition of a bill of attainder. Or the right to petition for redress. Or the right to confront your accuser. To name but a few provisions of the first through eighth amendments”

I’d been adjunct professor of American constitutional law at one of Europe’s most prestigious universities, Johannes Guttenberg University, and at the university’s law school at that (Summer semester 2008.) As well, I received high marks as instructor. That doesn’t happen without a firm historical understanding of our founding document’s underpinnings. And outside the religious right, I’d never before seen such rank historical revisionism in relation to our constitution as that put forward by Robert Parry. Beyond irony, Parry’s patent disinformation regarding our founding document is aimed at the very religious right whose disinformation he attacks (with his own disinformation.)

But this subsequent article is not as much about Parry’s disseminating patent lies concerning the origins and intent of the USA’s founding charter, as much as the preceding influencing myself having a bit more close look on his reporting concerning Ukraine. The constitutional issue is the material that had placed Robert Parry’s work in my sights.

In this essay, we will briefly look at two of Robert Parry’s recent works on Ukraine; “Ukraine’s ‘Dr Strangelove’ Reality” & “What Obama Can Do To Save Ukraine”, and distill further instance where he misleads his many readers.

In the mentioned ‘Dr Strangelove’ article by Parry, he puts forward a seemingly reasonable assessment of the situation in Kiev in relation to the neo-nazi element but nonetheless falls short:

“Though clearly a minority, Ukraine’s neo-Nazis remain a potent force that is well-organized, well-motivated and prone to extreme violence, whether throwing firebombs at police in the Maidan or at ethnic Russians trapped in a building in Odessa.

“As vengeance now seeks vengeance across Ukraine, this Nazi imperative will be difficult to hold down, much as Dr. Strangelove struggled to stop his arm from making a “Heil Hitler” salute”

The problem with this closing assessment is suggesting this “minority” element will be difficult to control (clearly true), without overtly stating the neo-nazi elements are without question purposely empowered by the regime in Kiev (and by clear implication, the USA.) I am saying the neo-nazis have been deliberately unleashed and Parry misses this (or deliberately glosses it over.) Ok, so this is a strong statement on my part. But if you take time to look deeply into Svoboda with its five ministries in Kiev (Parry counts four, perhaps he doesn’t count the deputy Prime Minister), it is clear this is NOT a neo-nazi ‘minority’ playing in the regime, it is according to a honest research a neo-nazi empowered coalition:

“One of the “Big Three” political parties behind the protests is the ultra-nationalist Svoboda, whose leader, Oleh Tyahnybok, has called for the liberation of his country from the “Muscovite-Jewish mafia.” After the 2010 conviction of the Nazi death camp guard John Demjanjuk for his supporting role in the death of nearly 30,000 people at the Sobibor camp, Tyahnybok rushed to Germany to declare him a hero who was “fighting for truth.” In the Ukrainian parliament, where Svoboda holds an unprecedented 37 seats, Tyahnybok’s deputy Yuriy Mykhalchyshyn is fond of quoting Joseph Goebbels – he has even founded a think tank originally called “the Joseph Goebbels Political Research Center.” According to Per Anders Rudling, a leading academic expert on European neo-fascism, the self-described “socialist nationalist” Mykhalchyshyn is the main link between Svoboda’s official wing and neo-Nazi militias like Right Sector”

I have a larger problem with the second mentioned article by Parry; “What Obama Can Do To Save Ukraine” and its suggestions that mislead the ordinary reader. In this ‘Ukraine light’ analysis, Parry quotes an ‘unnamed diplomat’ as though the diplomat’s words were gospel:

“I was told by one senior international diplomat who was on the scene that after the Feb. 22 putsch, Western officials scrambled to help the shaken parliament cobble together a new government to avoid having a bunch of unsavory right-wing thugs become the de facto rulers of Kiev”

But in fact that is exactly what we have; a bunch of unsavory right wing thugs HAVE become the de facto rulers in Kiev. In an otherwise seeming thoughtful dissecting of the New York Times biased coverage, Parry slips in an unattributed quote that softens his attack on false narrative. The reader without training in psychological ploy can take this preceding quote delivered by Parry to mean somehow the ‘Western officials’ managed to circumvent a de facto neo-nazi rule when in fact they had not.

Parry follows his preceding with:

“that means that the legitimacy of the acting government in Kiev is open to debate, not a flat-fact, as the Times would have you believe”

MISLEADING CONCLUSION. There should be no “open to debate” because it has been clearly established the coup d’état regime in Kiev is patently neo-nazi empowered and the real “flat-fact” is the Kiev regime must therefore be illegitimate, without equivocation. What Parry has done here, when attacking the New York Times false narrative, is to feed the reader alternative false narrative. This is precisely what Parry had done when attacking the constitutional narrative of the religious-right; noted at the beginning of this essay.

Following on this section of the Parry article, he allows a very reasonable assessment of Putin but then goes off into some high philosophical moral argument as if Obama could find in his ‘higher-self’ the courage of a JFK. I cannot help but wonder how it is Robert Parry could give a fair assessment of Putin and then blow it with proposing Obama has the wherewithal to discover in himself character traits he has never once demonstrated after six years in office. This is pure Obama fantasy fed to a public that has been fed Obama fantasy from the get go.

And now the clincher, Parry’s concluding paragraph:

“The question now regarding Ukraine and the possibility of a new Cold War is whether Obama can pick up Kennedy’s torch of peaceful understanding – and see the world through the eyes of the ethnic Russians in Donetsk as well as the pro-European youth in Kiev – recognizing the legitimate concerns and the understandable fears of both”

In fact “the pro-European youth in Kiev”, do not play in the equation, at all, in the present circumstance, in fact no one does other than now regime integrated neo-nazis:

“An Anarchist group called AntiFascist Union Ukraine attempted to join the Euromaidan demonstrations but found it difficult to avoid threats of violence and imprecations from the gangs of neo-Nazis roving the square. “They called the Anarchists things like Jews, blacks, Communists,” one of its members said. “There weren’t even any Communists, that was just an insult”” (read it at salon.com)

What Robert Parry does with his journalism is string people along with ‘hope’ that has no foundation in reality. He softens the geo-political facts in relation to the criminal acts of the USA and deflects attention from the most critical points. The facts are, Obama will do nothing to effectively control the Siamese twin that is the CIA-Department of State and the horrors it is unleashing in Ukraine. The factual reality is, neo-nazi rule in Kiev, thinly disguised, will be utilized to deliberately provoke Putin endlessly, until the entire caper implodes/explodes in one way or another. To call it any other way is simply dishonest.

Why isn’t the ‘Christian al Qaida’ embedded at the Pentagon (not to mention at CIA, Department of State, et al) focused on in the work of Parry? It’s not only highly relevant, it’s not as though every element of information pointing to this severe danger is buried at sea, any good investigator can turn up the ample facts. As well, I’d been asked about Parry’s past investigative journalism (Iran Contra & the 1980 ‘October Surprise’) apparently not squaring with his support for the official version of 9/11… my reply:

“I’d simply note ‘truth’ cannot be entirely suppressed in every instance, in which case it must be ‘managed.’ Perhaps Parry came to the conclusion he did not wish to be ‘webbed’ (Gary Webb shot himself in the head TWICE, superman could do that…) Insofar as the official version of 9/11, Building 7 doesn’t fit the narrative. One need not have answers as to what actually happened to grasp there can be no honest embrace of the official version. What I’ve noticed about Parry and his bosom buddy [Ray] McGovern is, they consistently ‘soften’ hard facts and avoid taking the reader into the more dangerous back alleys where you’re more likely to find the real dirt”

Parry had poo-pooed when supporting the incredible government fantasies fed the public on the collapse of Building 7:

“After the fire and devastation spread next door to Building Seven, Bush’s team also detonated explosives there to bring down that smaller tower”

Ignoring independent professional investigators and established structural science, a by far more far-fetched scenario than the conspiracy theorists put forward, is the government scenario Parry supports; Building 7 is the only major modern steel reinforced, concrete pillar supported structure in the world to collapse from a mediocre fire, essentially claiming Building 7 died of fright:

Parry observes in his Obama article:

“Not only would Obama have to come down off the U.S. “high horse” and admit that his own administration has been guilty of spinning the facts – waging “information warfare” – but he’d have to recognize that Putin’s cooperation is essential to bringing this increasingly bloody crisis under control. Obama would also have to admit that Putin was not the cause of the Ukraine mess”

To become a trustworthy source of information, Robert Parry would have to do something remarkably similar; admit his own patent disinformation. A good beginning would be retracting his several articles on the federalist vs anti-federalist founders’ original intent in relation to our constitution and move on to endorsing Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth

On 11 May, I left this comment at Parry’s Consortium News 10 May 2014 Article “Burning Ukraine’s Protesters alive”

“Nice to see Robert Parry drop the ‘stupid stuff’ in his reporting, since I’d posted this one:

The comment was taken down by the site before the day was far gone, so there is no indication of open to a wider understanding, rather continuing deceptive narrative (at the least.) Returning to Parry’s attack on the anti-federalist founders, there is no more insidious example of psychological ploy to undermine American civil liberties than to subliminally associate the founding principles underpinning our historic freedoms with slavery; by a research narrowly focused on the bigotry of the founders’ era and in the same moment ignoring the far greater sentiment of noble intent. Robert Parry does exactly that.

The Washington Post and Double Think

When, in the span of six weeks, the Washington Post both; gives a soap box to Zbigniew Brzezinski and receives a Pulitzer Prize for reporting on the Snowden leaks, a thoughtful person might be inclined to ‘think twice.’

Brzezinski’s ‘service’ to the USA has included advising figures from Jimmy Carter to Barack Obama, including the first USA [CIA] involvement in Afghanistan in 1979, and he is one of the architects of policy that has resulted in the rise of militant Islam. It is interesting to me a media outlet that provides platform for world class criminals, is lauded as a giant of journalism. The prize might have better been awarded solely to the Guardian journalists who met with Snowden and passed on the material to secondary outlets in media. Instead, we have an oxymoron; purveyors [The Washington Post] of criminal wonks [Brzezinski, among others] and their vicious ideation responsible for incalculable social damage world-wide, lauded as heroes of journalism.

George Orwell’s original term was not ‘double speak’ or ‘double talk’ but actually is ‘double think’

“Doublethink means the power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one’s mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them” -George Orwell

‘Simultaneous’ & ‘accepting’ points to a complete lack of normal brain function. The normal reaction [in a healthy mind] should be ‘cognitive dissonance’, perhaps best explained as ‘grotesque reflex’ of mental state or distress caused by mental apprehension of irreconcilable phenomena.

A comprehensive lack of cognitive dissonance, in face of irreconcilable ideation, points to a clear mental disorder. This mental disorder patently manifests in narcissist sociopath personalities, lacking any sense of taking responsibility for consequence.

For instance, Brzezinski’s replies to the questions…

Q: And neither do you regret having supported the Islamic [integrisme], having given arms and advice to future terrorists?

Brzezinski: What is most important to the history of the world? The Taliban or the collapse of the Soviet empire? Some stirred-up Moslems or the liberation of Central Europe and the end of the cold war?

Q: Some stirred-up Moslems? But it has been said and repeated: Islamic fundamentalism represents a world menace today.

Brzezinski: Nonsense! It is said that the West had a global policy in regard to Islam. That is stupid. There isn’t a global Islam. Look at Islam in a rational manner and without demagoguery or emotion. It is the leading religion of the world with 1.5 billion followers. But what is there in common among Saudi Arabian fundamentalism, moderate Morocco, Pakistan militarism, Egyptian pro-Western or Central Asian secularism? Nothing more than what unites the Christian countries.

…altogether ignores the fact of Brzezinski, as Carter’s National Security Advisor, dispatched USA support to rebels in Afghanistan in 1979, an endeavor put into hyperdrive by [Obama’s first Secretary of Defense] Robert Gates during the Reagan administration, resulted in the rise not only of the Taliban and al-Qaida but turned Afghanistan into the world’s leading supplier of heroin.

“Political language — and with variations this is true of all political parties, from Conservatives to Anarchists — is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind” -George Orwell

In any ‘healthy’ mentality, there would be some sense of contrition in having initiated the policy that had, over the ensuing years, resulted in the 21st century global jihad. Brzezinski experiences no indication of contrition [taking responsibility] and he experiences no sense of cognitive dissonance either. Now, let’s look at the Washington Post providing Brzezinski a soap box on Ukraine:

“Regarding the Russian aggression against Ukraine, much depends on what Vladi­mir Putin does next. But what Putin does depends on not only his calculation of the likely NATO (and especially the U.S.) response but also his estimate of how fiercely the Ukrainian people would respond to any further escalation by Russia. And, to complete the circle, the Ukrainian response would be influenced by citizens’ reaction to any repetition of Putin’s Crimean aggression and by whether the nation believes that the United States and NATO are truly supportive.

To begin with, career Russia hater and author of ‘The Grand Chessboard’ demanding Russia be cornered and isolated to the benefit of USA world domination, casts Russia as the instigator in Ukraine, following a USA supported putsch placing neo-nazis in power in a nation Putin had been telling the western democracies for six years to stay out and not meddle.

“Putin’s thuggish tactics in seizing Crimea offer some hints regarding his planning. He knew in advance that his thinly camouflaged invasion would meet with popular support from the Russian majority in Crimea. He was not sure how the thin and light Ukrainian military units stationed there would react, so he went in masked like a Mafia gangster. In the event of serious Ukrainian resistance, he could disown the initiative and pull back.

Anyone who’d acquired a C+ in the history of the former USSR would know the Russian ethnic majority of Crimeans would welcome a return to Russia with open arms. Putin knew this. Where Brzezinski lies with a clear conscience is in regards to this is, Crimea was the territory of Russia for two hundred years, to 1954, when Khruschev made a technical transfer of Crimea to Ukraine to put work on a canal under a single administrative body. The Crimeans not only celebrated their return to Russia, two thirds of the Ukrainian military stationed in Crimea defected to Russia or changed sides. Crimea had been historically, linguistically, culturally and factually Russia/Russian in everything but name. There was ZERO chance of ‘serious Ukrainian resistance’ but Brzezinski cannot pass up a chance to pose Putin as a thug and coward. The man knows no sense of shame.

“His initial success may tempt him to repeat that performance more directly in the far eastern provinces of Ukraine. If successful, the conclusive third phase could then be directed, through a combination of political unrest and increasingly overt use of Russian forces, to overthrow the government in Kiev. The result would thus be similar to the two phases of Hitler’s seizure of the Sudetenland after Munich in 1938 and the final occupation of Prague and Czechoslovakia in early 1939.

Here, Brzezinski projects a nonsensical historical comparison; the government in Prague was not toppled by forces threatening to Hitler, nor were the ethnic Germans being persecuted by a non-existent power hostile to Germany on its borders … and Putin is not the leader of a NAZI state, rather the reverse is true. The neo-nazi regime installed by the USA in Ukraine, on the other hand, has demonstrated extreme hostility to the large ethic Russian population, and the new leadership in Kiev has demonstrable NAZI roots represented in the five ministries held by the neo-nazi Svoboda party. Notice Brzezinski demonstrates no sense of cognitive dissonance, nor does he blink an eye over this next shameless lie:

“Much depends on how clearly the West conveys to the dictator in the Kremlin — a partially comical imitation of Mussolini and a more menacing reminder of Hitler — that NATO cannot be passive if war erupts in Europe. If Ukraine is crushed while the West is simply watching, the new freedom and security in bordering Romania, Poland and the three Baltic republics would also be threatened.

If Ukraine is ‘crushed’, it will consist of Putin doing exactly what he has stated will be his intention to do, were the nazis in Kiev to follow through with a large scale persecution of Ukraine’s ethnic Russians … put a stop to the nonsense unleashed on Russia’s very doorstep. Russian will go no further than push the Ukrainian military out of the majority Russian areas of a nation [Ukraine] with unnatural borders, deeply dividing a populace with a historical split, western Ukraine’s sympathies are with western Europe and eastern Ukraine’s sympathies are with Russia. The parties behaving like Hitler are the western democracies who’ve been fanning the fires in Ukraine and tossing a civil war in Russia’s face. These are problems Putin does not need or want but also problems he cannot ignore.

“This does not mean that the West, or the United States, should threaten war. But Russia’s unilateral and menacing acts mean the West should promptly recognize the current government of Ukraine as legitimate. Uncertainty regarding its legal status could tempt Putin to repeat his Crimean charade. The West also should convey — privately at this stage, so as not to humiliate Russia — that the Ukrainian army can count on immediate and direct Western aid so as to enhance its defensive capabilities. There should be no doubt left in Putin’s mind that an attack on Ukraine would precipitate a prolonged and costly engagement, and Ukrainians should not fear that they would be left in the lurch.

Brzezinski, who is proud he was able to draw the USSR into Afghanistan, bragging he’d handed the Russians their own Vietnam, is promoting a repeat, and the Washington Post has provided the soap box. There can be no doubt in Brzezinski’s mind that Putin will be forced to act in the circumstance of chaos delivered by the USA’s geo-political sleight-of-hand and then the finger pointed at Putin as the aggressor. Brzezinski is a shameless liar and no matter war breaking out could lead at some point to escalation including tactical nuclear weapons, were NATO to become involved, this is good in the mind of Brzezinski, if it serves his ‘Grand Chessboard.’

“Meanwhile, NATO forces, consistent with the organization’s contingency planning, should be put on alert. High readiness for some immediate airlift to Europe of U.S. airborne units would be politically and militarily meaningful. If the West wants to avoid a conflict, there should be no ambiguity in the Kremlin as to what might be precipitated by further adventurist use of force in the middle of Europe.

Brzezinski is saying here, throughout, goad, lie, provoke, lie, call names, lie, arm up, lie, escalate, lie, and call for peaceful accommodation:

“In addition, such efforts to avert miscalculations that could lead to a war should be matched by a reaffirmation of the West’s desire for a peaceful accommodation with Russia regarding a joint effort to help Ukraine recover economically and stabilize politically. The West should reassure Russia that it is not seeking to draw Ukraine into NATO or to turn it against Russia. Ukrainians themselves can define the depth of their closeness to Europe and the scope of their economic cooperation with Russia, to the benefit of peace and stability in Europe. And after their May elections, they can revise some of the arrangements for a special status for Crimea, but they should not do so under duress or attack from a neighbor driven by imperial or personal ambitions”

And so, our soap box protagonist, Zbigniew Brzezinski, author of his personal imperial ambition named the Grand Chessboard, closes with pointing to Putin as the imperial ambition, when Putin has actually been placed in impossible circumstance demanding action on behalf of the ethnic Russians of east Ukraine, by the geopolitical engineering of the USA, with Putin cast as the boogeyman. This is really very much like the schoolyard bully, USA, smashing the smaller kids [Ukraine’s Russian minority] face and then crying to the neighborhood ‘look what little Billy [lying on the ground bleeding] did to my fists!’ And expect Putin would stand back and do nothing? This is messing with the wrong man. Europe should rethink its relationship of political fellatio to USA and NATO because ‘war is peace’ & ‘newspeak’ freaks like Brzezinski and his numerous fans at USA Department of State, CIA and NATO have no sense of reality. They are neither ‘normal’ nor ‘healthy.’

“For America, the chief geopolitical prize is Eurasia… Now a non-Eurasian power is preeminent in Eurasia – and America’s global primacy is directly dependent on how long and how effectively its preponderance on the Eurasian continent is sustained” -Zbigniew Brzezinski writes in ‘The Grand Chessboard‘

This immediate preceding Brzezinski position on projecting USA empire is at odds a full 180 degrees with what he professes (blames/projects) onto Russia in his Washington Post editorial on Ukraine. Here he admits the USA is the region’s imperial aggressor. If Orwell were here to ask, I would ask him if what he had noticed in people is the phenomena I have noticed; some people seem to have ‘cellularized’ sets of mutually exclusive ‘facts’ they (consciously or unconsciously) shift between, with no noticeable level of psychological discomfort. Brezezinski strikes me as one of these people.

In the end, a media outlet, in this case the Washington Post, giving platform to such depraved criminal mentality, should be disqualified from any journalistic recognition other than propagandist for the criminally insane-

“In the case of a word like DEMOCRACY, not only is there no agreed definition, but the attempt to make one is resisted from all sides. It is almost universally felt that when we call a country democratic we are praising it: consequently the defenders of every kind of régime claim that it is a democracy, and fear that they might have to stop using the word if it were tied down to any one meaning. Meanwhile, think about it … in regards to media, do the western democracies geopolitical propaganda and depraved acts, promoted by the Washington Post and other outlets, meet Orwell’s description of ‘words used in a consciously dishonest way?’ Methinks: yes.

At the end of the day, it would appear that in any democracy, ethics, self restraint, tolerance and honesty will always play second fiddle to narcissism, avarice, bigotry & persecution, if only because people who play by the rules in any democracy, are at a disadvantage to those who easily subvert the rules to their own advantage.

Denazification didn’t actually happen in Germany folks, I took the photo of the Third Reich eagle (NAZI monument) at Lindau myself, in 2008. Germany still harbors deep NAZI sentiment widely, particularly in the south. Many Nazi criminals were quietly reintegrated to German society and lived out life unpunished with rationale such as:

“the West German Supreme Court overturned the judgment .. saying Rehse and other judges of the [NAZI] People’s Court had only been abiding by the laws of the time”

Because:

“The Americans and the British turned over the denazification program to the Germans, who made a mockery of it by electing or appointing some Nazis back into power”

It is only recently, with the most serious offenders dead of old age, a few lowly camp guards have been prosecuted in what amounts to a token expression of social responsibility. Insofar as Angela Merkel’s present government in coalition with Social Democrats, together with her Christian Democrats and their ideologically aligned Christian Social Union, this points to a wider tolerance of the German past than could even be imagined only a short time ago. But first:

On 24 March, in Ukraine, Oleksandr Muzychko, neo-nazi leader of the ‘Right Sector’, was assassinated by interior ministry elite special operations police of the new regime in Kiev. He was without doubt a nasty man, a killer, criminal and terrorist. And because he was incredibly stupid, he also died a ‘patsy’ or that is a used and discarded stooge.

This man led the skinheads who provided the ‘muscle’ behind the violence that brought the new regime to power in Kiev. Now, his CIA supported putsch having been accomplished, he became an embarrassment. Can’t have people running around openly proclaiming a NAZI agenda. Muzychko, having been used to provide a service, was then shot dead in a demonstration of the new regime asserting ‘law and order.’ The Western media spin will be all about tamping down on the criminal NAZI element in the Kiev uprising and all  the USA’s sheep will sleep better at night, knowing Obama, Cameron, Hollande, Merkel and ‘friends’ aren’t doing business with NAZIs (and couldn’t be more misled.)

It is beyond question the USA’s intelligence (CIA, primarily), having utilized Muzychko to optimal putsch effect prior to demanded he be eliminated (the more likely story) for appearance sake. In today’s game, you cannot be openly NAZI, you have to conceal the fact in order to qualify for support from the western democracies leaders. But in fact a neo-nazi party, Svoboda, holds five ministries in the new regime at Kiev, putting down the ‘Right Sector’ is a smokescreen. Check this out:

“One of the “Big Three” political parties behind the protests is the ultra-nationalist Svoboda, whose leader, Oleh Tyahnybok, has called for the liberation of his country from the “Muscovite-Jewish mafia.” After the 2010 conviction of the Nazi death camp guard John Demjanjuk for his supporting role in the death of nearly 30,000 people at the Sobibor camp, Tyahnybok rushed to Germany to declare him a hero who was “fighting for truth.” In the Ukrainian parliament, where Svoboda holds an unprecedented 37 seats, Tyahnybok’s [Svoboda’s] deputy [member of parliament] Yuriy Mykhalchyshyn is fond of quoting Joseph Goebbels – he has even founded a think tank originally called “the Joseph Goebbels Political Research Center””

I hold Germany responsible for the NAZIs put in power in Kiev, not the USA. Why? Historic responsibility, plain and simple. Merkel has a historic responsibility to call out the the facts of a NAZI regime and refuse on principle to do business with killers laundered into power by the CIA. If a German leader had the personal courage to do this, it would have stopped the nonsense in its tracks and we’d have a whole new geo-political game. But in fact German politicians are cowards (or worse.)

Without a doubt, despite CIA media laundering, German intelligence certainly knows the facts about Svoboda, and nothing is done. I wonder what that has to with the preceding noted article going on to mention…

… considering who have been the German interior ministers of the past several years, responsible for domestic intelligence. All are Merkel appointments from the German right. You think these Merkel Christian Democrat, and their affiliated Christian Social Union political appointments, don’t know the Merkel aligned Adenauer foundation is associating with and sponsoring NAZIs?

What’s more is, Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND) or Federal Intelligence Service (Germany) reports directly to Angela Merkel. This German counterpart to the CIA had been born out of the USA’s rescue of Nazi intelligence at the end of World War Two. Initially organized by the OSS and subsequently CIA as the ‘Gehlen Organization’ under Hitler’s veteran Soviet spymaster (Nazi war criminal) Reinhard Gehlen, the BND came into existence when the Gehlen Organization, staffed with Nazi Party & SS veterans, as well as more than 100 former Gestapo officers, was transferred by the USA to the Federal Republic of Germany (then so-called ‘West Germany’) to be under the authority of Chancellor Konrad Adenauer. And so it was Hitler’s top intelligence people became Germany’s post-war CIA. One can only imagine Reinhard Gehlen’s smirk when he’d stated his organization employed a lower percentage of former SS & Gestapo than most ministries in Adenauer’s Federal Republic of Germany government

Following on this historical political fantasy of a leopard shedding its spots in post-war Germany, of these three recent interior ministers, Hans-Peter Friedrich is from the Christian Social Union’s ‘unreconstructed south’ of Germany, de Maizière and Schäuble are from Adenauer’s Nazi integrated Christian Democrats (Merkel’s CDU.)

“Krupp was eventually found guilty of being a major war criminal and sentenced to twelve years in prison and had all his wealth and property confiscated.

“On 5th December, 1950, Adenauer wrote .. a letter urging clemency for Krupp.

“In January, 1951, [it was] announced that Alfried Krupp and eight members of his board of directors who had been convicted with him, were to be released. Denial aside, Adenauer’s Nazis integrated to the party in charge of present day Germany, could explain a lot about Germany’s strongly supportive relationship with the new NAZI regime in Kiev, you think?

And then we have:

 Ok, so maybe this immediate preceding doesn’t seem all that vile (other than the personalities Nuland associates with.)

Now, is when things get really interesting. Digging into Condi’s past with Nuland is like stepping into the La Brea tar pit together with  the CIA, CHEVRON and Christian fundamentalism. Only last month, the patriarch of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church, Major Archbishop Sviatoslav Shevchuk, a rival of the Russian Orthodox church in Ukraine, is quoted at the most recent National Prayer Breakfast by the CIA’s Voice of America:

“The patriarch, who was attending his first prayer breakfast, said it was a good opportunity to meet other leaders. “It was a great possibility, not only to represent Ukraine, but also make connections, meet people and transmit truth about Ukraine and the situation in Ukraine””

The VOA (CIA) article concludes with:

“While the U.S. president hosts the National Prayer Breakfast, the event is sponsored by members of Congress and organized by a conservative Christian organization often known as “The Family”

The CIA most certainly would know. So now, let’s back up a moment. What has Nuland’s buddy Condi been up to since she (mostly) dropped out of sight after 2008? It’s safe to say Leopards don’t change their spots, as ‘Dr Rice’ pairs CHEVRON up with The Center for Strategic and International Studies:

“Development can help avoid the next Afghanistan or the next Somalia, she said, by building responsible sovereigns who can provide for their people. In doing so, the public and private sectors have complimentary, overlapping roles, Dr. Rice argued, with governments taking responsibility for creating the environment for trade, job creation, and foreign investment”

Huh. I wonder what “governments taking responsibility for creating the environment” might have to do with ‘Chevron Ukraine‘ and Victoria Nuland reporting back to CHEVRON this past December the fact 5 billion dollars had been invested in (one presumes through CIA fronts such as USAID) what not long after became the putsch bringing neo-nazi rule (and wide open territory for CHEVRON fracking) to Kiev:

I have little patience with ‘World Jewish Conspiracy’ freaks, if only because there are corrupt people in every ethnicity on this planet and the fact that a handful of the world’s most powerful or corrupt people happen to be Jewish, only argues to establish the fact the Jews are no different to the rest of us as peoples in this regard. By far more interesting to me is how it is a person of Jewish heritage, such as Victoria Nuland, can become devoted to the cause of people who are in turn devoted to the literal extinction of Jews.

Now, this is to point out Victoria Nuland is in the service of some of the world’s most powerful anti-Semitic personalities. These personalities may not all have been individually labeled as anti-Semites perhaps, but each and every one of them is ‘Christian Dominionist‘, in effect they believe not only ‘God’s Law’ trumps the constitutions and laws of all secular democracies, they also believe in literal Armageddon and the utter and total destruction of all Jewish people as a matter of religious belief. That is, all Jews who do not ‘convert.’

Victoria Nuland would likely meet Bibi Netanyhu’s definition of a “Self-Hating Jew” simply for the fact she works in the Obama administration and Obama seems to have arrived at a cold, political calculation; Netanyahu’s determination to use the USA to crush any Palestinian right of self-determination via AIPAC, simply cannot hold up and keep pulling in the neo-liberal vote in today’s America. And mid-term elections are on the close horizon.

But in regards to establishing the new, neo-nazi regime in Kiev, one must question Netanyahu’s perception of what actually constitutes a ‘self-hating Jew.’ In Netanyahu’s perception, this pejorative term is largely limited to Jews who believe Palestinians are living, sentient beings. Conversely, Victoria Nuland seems to believe neo-nazis are generous, law-abiding, tolerant people, capable of being outstanding citizens worthy of running a nation (Ukraine) on behalf of CHEVRON, as well on behalf of Kiev’s new natural gas personalities closely connected to Joe Biden & John Kerry. Makes perfect sense, eh?

A short history leading to events in Ukraine

The war between Russia and Georgia in 2008 was long term result of South Ossetia broken off from what became North Ossetia by Stalin (a Georgian) and given to Georgia as a sort of gift. When the USSR broke up, the South Ossetians wanted nothing to do with Georgia, they are historically a part of and strongly identify with Russia. The Ossetians rebelled from the beginning at being a part of post-Soviet Georgia. The Bush selected (& New York lawyer) Mikheil Saakashvili was installed by a CIA supported ‘color revolution’ in Georgia and that is when the real trouble began. It was (then) President Medvedev ordered the Russian military to ‘invasive’ counter-attack while (then) Prime Minister Putin was sitting with Bush at the Olympics in Beijing, after the USA trained Georgian military crossed the border (following skirmish with militia) en mass and unleashed rocket barrage on the South Ossetian city of Tskhinvali. Message to the West & NATO from Russia? Leave the border regions alone.

Similarly, Crimea had been integrated to Russia for 200 years, to 1954, when Khrushchev (married to a Ukrainian) presented Crimea to Ukraine as a birthday gift of sorts (the practical reason underlying this was to put the construction of a canal under a single administration, a logistics issue.) More recently, Putin had been telling the western leaders for at least six years to stay out of Ukraine but wasn’t listened to. Meanwhile Russia had been promised at the breakup of the USSR that NATO would not expand to the east, a promise repeatedly broken. The reaction of Russia (with the neo-nazi Svoboda party having five ministries in the new regime at Kiev) in Ukraine is the result. If Russia takes the east of Ukraine to the Dnieper River (with its majority ethnic Russian population), the West only has itself to blame. Putin, with the backing of a very large majority of Russians, is not going to put up with NATO on Russia’s doorstep. Relevant to this, following internationally monitored elections deemed free and fair, Ukraine had dropped its association with NATO in 2010 and Russia will not be allowing NATO to return to its’ border, end of story.

This is the second time around for the West pushing its way into Russia’s face in Ukraine. The Russians put up with it with the color revolution bringing Viktor Yushchenko to power, but the neo-nazi Svoboda regime installed this second time around, was too much (the new regime is also populated with a liberal handful of corrupt oligarch Yulia Tymoshenko cronies.)

Recent events point to the idea the USA intends the new regime in Kiev is deliberately to be so outrageous to the Kremlin, Russia will feel compelled to intervene so far as to remove the literal nazis in Ukraine empowered by the western democracies. Immediately following DCI (Director of Central Intelligence) John Brennan’s visit to Kiev, the new Ukrainian authorities had initiated a military action in the ethnic Russian east of the country. Following the 17 April Geneva accord, the action was briefly put on hold, until Joe Biden visited and military action was renewed. With the USA’s influence and promises of aid to the new regime, this cannot be construed to be an accident. Geneva had been nothing more than a propaganda ploy by the USA and Biden’s visit was to inform the Geneva meeting for purpose of defusing the crisis was geopolitical theater to be ignored. What the Kiev regime doesn’t understand is, they’re nothing more than a pawn to be sacrificed on the so-called ‘Grand Chessboard’ in the 21st Century edition of ‘The Great Game’ –Update 2 May 2014

This preceding is the tip of the iceberg:

“A major contributor to the demonstrations is the far right “Freedom” [Svoboda] party, which this year the World Jewish Congress –and many others– described as neo-Nazi.

“Another smaller component is the the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists, established by the former Nazi collaborator émigré group, the war time Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUM ) which assisted in the extermination of Ukrainian and other Jews. Still another is the Ukrainian National Assembly/Self Defense, which maintains a close relationship with the neo-Nazi National Democratic Party of Germany”

It doesn’t end there.  Oligarch & new interior minister Arsen Avakov, was head of corrupt oligarch Yulia Tymoshenko’s “Batkivshchyna” political party (Bloc Yulia Tymoshenko.) He escaped an Interpol arrest warrant for real estate fraud by acquiring immunity from prosecution with election to legislature as a ‘People’s Deputy.’ Now as Interior Minister (Ukraine’s top policeman), Avakov is positioned to remove or weaken any evidence that could lead to his or other Tymoshenko related players and other corrupt officials conviction in possible future trial.

And Oleksandr Turchynov, the USA engineered, putsch-proclaimed President of Ukraine? Just another corrupt Yulia Tymoshenko stooge who’d, when head of Ukraine’s security service, destroyed documents connecting Yulia Tymoshenko to the world’s most dirty organized crime boss, Semion Mogilevich.

As well, the new Russia hating Kiev administration has appointed ‘governors’ for the Russia leaning, industrialized east of Ukraine; oligarch billionaires Igor Kolomoysky and Sergey Taruta, now well positioned to snap up and loot Ukraine’s industrial base which cannot be competitive in the European Union, as well buy up agricultural land the IMF will insist be ‘privatized’ along with ‘austerity’ demanding cuts to benefits for children and halving the pensions of the elderly. Factories will shut down and unemployment skyrocket, all to the advantage of western European exports at the expense of Ukraine’s domestic infrastructure, similar to the model imposed on and devastating Greece. This is an attempted highway robbery of entire regions of Russia sympathetic people in the East of Ukraine the new ‘authorities’ in Kiev actually despise. The cynical geo-political calculation in NATO is a destabilized Ukraine on Russia’s doorstep will require Russian intervention and all fingers can be pointed at Russia for interfering, self-justifying the alliance in Brussels strengthening and expanding an aggressive NATO.

Here is NATO fanatic John McCain, meeting with Ukrainian NAZI Oleh Tyahnybok [center] in the presence of the now USA installed Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the very same man Under-Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, in a leaked conversation, had instructed the American ambassador to Ukraine the USA wanted put in charge:

Now, less anyone misunderstand the importance of the NAZI Tyhanybok to propping up the USA installed prime minister of Ukraine, one only need see this image:

Now, all of this geo-political maneuvering, employing NAZIs to push NATO in Russia’s face, on Russia’s very doorstep, is on track to backfire in a really big way, recalling NATO inducting ‘partner’ nation Ukraine is one more example of a multiple broken promise, a promise to Russia NATO would not expand into the former Soviet sphere of influence, when Gorbachev allowed the former Warsaw Pact nations to pursue their own destiny with the break-up of the Soviet Union.

Now, we all (in the intelligence world) know none of this ‘regime change’ agenda is going to be brought off without CIA involvement. Going to that fact (of life in real-politic), it does to note here the CIA has longstanding ties to the Ukrainian neo-NAZI movement. No better evidence of this is a former CIA collaborator (Canadian academic) in the Ukrainian nationalist movement, acknowledging the facts but (one must presume disingenuously, academics dare not be associated with NAZIs) claiming he ‘did not know’ about the NAZI elements in the CIA Ukraine program:

“I cooperated with Prolog … I did understand in the 1970s and 1980s that Prolog was CIA funded … In the 1970s and 1980s I did not comprehend to what extent Prolog had hidden the dark past of OUN and UPA and propagated a legendary version of nationalist history…”

He might more honestly state today ‘to what extent Prolog (the CIA operation codename) had laundered the neo-NAZI movement’ behind the new USA installed regime in Kiev.

Insofar as CIA associated ‘regime change’ in Ukraine, this is the second time around. The first time around was the ‘Orange Revolution’ which had brought Yulia Tymoshenko & Viktor Yushchenko to power. For an expanded understanding of both operations, one only need study rogue CIA officer Phillip Agee’s expose: ‘Terrorism and Civil Society.‘

So, when Obama behaves as though he were sincere in addressing the world as if Russia were the instigator of Ukraine coming apart at the seams, actually Russia has every reason to feel it cannot allow these manipulations to follow through to the Western democracies desired conclusion. To this point, it cannot hurt to recall erstwhile Obama foreign policy consultant, career Russia hater Zbigniew Brzezinski, neo-liberal guru to Obama administration officials such as Victoria Nuland, considers Ukraine central to his ‘Grand Chessboard‘ strategy of pushing Russia into a corner in the 21st Century edition of the ‘Great Game‘, a step towards freeing up the USA for world domination.

Meanwhile, the major difference between Obama and Bush is quite straightforward; Obama is a by far more natural & dangerous liar, and not only when promoting the neo-NAZI administration installed by USA instigated violence in Kiev with this disingenuous quote:

Why don’t you see any of this CIA fostered and implemented NAZI relationship to the USA in the western press? Because:

How does one sort fact from fiction in the Western media world? Go to the skills found in professional intelligence, where it’s a matter of training and knowing what to look for. Wikipedia claims the nazi elements had been pushed out of Tyhanybok’s Svoboda party but this does not square with the World Jewish Congress describing Svoboda as neo-nazi. Or the research turned up by the Swedish academic Per Anders Rudling documenting Svoboda organized the celebration of octogenarian 3rd Reich Waffen SS veterans as heroes as recently as 2011 (cited at the beginning of this article.) And then you have the former CIA collaborator (Canadian academic) stating CIA laundered Svoboda party pre-cursor elements in the 1980s (associated with the mentioned Prolog program) and the fact CIA edits Wikipedia, not only has controlling influence in more traditional mainstream media as demonstrated by a former CIA director’s quote:

In the applied geo-politic of Obama’s USA, CIA requires straight-forward aggression to achieve a means to an end. Neo-nazis will accomplish a goal (violent coup) law abiding citizens will not. And then CIA launders the facts with its controlling influences in mainstream media. Present CIA director Brennan is a nasty man and is by far too close to Obama.

If the facts of the ‘Maidan Coup‘ line up behind Russian President Putin’s position and you don’t like Putin, that sucks for you. Truth is often not a comfortable thing and why CIA would prefer you did not know truth.
