Life’s Little Surprises

Written at Wiesbaden, Germany, Summer of 2008 –

I went to the university to see my classroom for the first time, visit with my boss in the law department and check on some important protocols, i.e., would a self educated Honky raised Indian in the Rocky Mountains, be thrown out of a university in Europe for basically being himself. A matter of personality.

As I entered the law department and traversed the halls to the department chair’s office, this new Professor Witch-Doctor garnered stunned looks of disbelief from the rather straight looking lawyer academic males and friendly laughs from the women, I wondered what that said about my new life in academia.

I have known my boss for years, relating to past human rights and international law work, as an investigator in Indian country, and in his office I have questions relevant to current affairs. This is in regards to my stand-up comedian nature and my new professorship; will I be able to make the point to my students the name of the law professor who composed the Bush administration memos authorizing torture had inspired a change in the spelling of the English language expression ‘Fuck Yoo’

Also, I established I do not own a tie and was not about to acquire one. I believe the tactful language I had used in negotiating this important parameter was “I don’t believe I could manage a tie.” I was duly assured casual clothes would be fine, after-all, I am Professor Witch-Doctor Ron, having never subjected myself to PhD imprisonment in any ivory tower.

In the Native world, life’s little surprises are ascribed to The Trickster, and when we encounter these events, we are supposed to pay attention because life is trying to tell us something. Such as the time I had been wandering about the Arizona desert, and picked up a Horned Toad for a pet to give to a child. I slipped the creature into my jacket pocket and it had already slipped my mind by the time the day warmed up and I tossed the jacket into the back of my car and forgot about it for a week.

Subsequently, I was driving down a desert road and my heart nearly blew its way out the top of my head when some flat, cold scaly alien about the size of a tea saucer suddenly was attached to the right side of my neck. With the missed photo opportunity of a lifetime, the look on my face I am sure, I grasped the horned toad and pulled it free of my neck and into my line of vision and started to laugh somewhat insanely.

I stopped, walked the creature back into the desert apologizing profusely and set it free. Life had just told me in a moment of unfounded terror, to leave Horned Toads alone. In the Native view, even such a small and harmless creature has real power.

These many years later, I’d gotten to be the Horned Toad.

On my way to university appointment, I spryly hopped onto an escalator at the train station, and was quickly sandwiched in by people front and back and noticed the little woman in a nun habit standing next to me. She was staring at the new Professor Witch-Doctor with an expression indicating if she could leap off a twenty story building to escape me, there would be no hesitation… my camoflage bandanna and shades can do that? I had forgot… I looked down at my t-shirt with a cameo portrait of the devil and the name “Mephisto”

I did not wink at her (Oh, the temptation was great) but merely wondered at people who are prisoners of fear… with my life dedicated to peace and non-violence (not to mention free expression)

In student emails to me after the course was completed; “you showed me there is more than one way to learn at university”, “I’d take your class again just for fun!” and my favorite “your class was so refreshing after all of the suited and stiffed up law professors.”

These students are the truly bright minds

I suppose when I have survived life’s present international intrigue and achieve fame, perhaps the university could consider awarding me a honorary witch-doctorate of satire in letters and law, and I will enjoy teaching again-

The Greatest Criminal Endeavor

“Prepare a place to slaughter his sons for the sins of their forefathers; they are not to rise to inherit the land and cover the earth with their cities” Isaiah 14:21

Our fundamentalist Christian Pentagon should take note of the words of Isaiah, in the Old Testament they have adopted, with its rivers of blood ascribed to the will of god.

More importantly, reasonable and sane people should examine how it is we are bled as a society, as we bleed other societies, by criminal personalities in charge of policy pursued by our extremist Christian Taliban generals; people who precisely fit a maxim of Einstein: “We cannot solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them”

In short:

In 1987, former Obama Secretary of Defense and career CIA man, Robert Gates, who is practically a son of George H.W. Bush and brother to George W. Bush, had organized and was coordinating the expenditure of $630 million (nearly 1.5 billion, adjusted for inflation) and its related delivery of 65,000 tons of weapons and ammunition per year, into Afghanistan. This effort both; drove out the Russians and left Afghanistan in the hands of armed to the teeth war lords.

Then, the general population of Afghanistan, desperate to be rid of the war lords, supported the rise of the Taliban.

The Taliban in turn terrorized the population of Afghanistan and many Afghans welcomed the subsequent American invasion.

In turn, the Americans, instead of understanding a tribal society and focusing on strengthening rural stability based on existing social structures; with focus on improving health and education in decentralized tribal regions, preferred propping up a corrupt central government. And the Americans stayed on to be certain that artificial, alien and fraudulently elected corrupt institution exercised authority over a tribal culture that rejects the very concept, causing widening hostility and loss of good will.

As more and more Afghans became alienated to the American presence propping up the alien and corrupt central regime’s structure, Afghanistan’s indigenous Pashtun nationalism became an enemy recruiting blessing, strengthening and rebuilding the Taliban. Our generals then became more aggressive and this enticed more recruits to the Taliban, resulting in Bush buddies Robert Gates, General McChrystal and General Patraeus talking their new lap-dog president into ever more aggressive but failed tactics, with the result of empowering the Taliban yet more.

When Susan Rice states American support of the war in Afghanistan is essential to Afghan women’s rights, seldom has a greater political lie been told.

With the American military occupation of Afghanistan, heroin has flooded the world, as it has everywhere the CIA has been involved with conflict in favorable opium climates.

Since 2009, seventy percent of retiring American three and four star generals have moved into the military contracting business where immense profits are to be made.

From 2001 to 2011, nearly four trillion dollars had been spent by the USA in wars including Afghanistan. It is well over four trillion to now.

Meanwhile, sincere persons that might have brought peace that would have cut into the profiteering are murdered in night raids by special operations forces whose views have been shaped by our Pentagon’s Christian Taliban.

And finally we are back to square one, with the Americans arming and turning the effort back to the Afghan war lords.

The USA’s Afghanistan efforts are shining example of repeatedly failed policies that can only be described as The Greatest Criminal Endeavor, EVER.

The Pachuco Stare Decisis

A Pachuco Named Stare Decisis

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, Chairman of the Federalist Society steering committee, was smarting from the victory for Stare Decisis and Obama in the ‘birther’ case of (sy)Phyllis Schafly v B.O. Now, at the steering committee’s next meeting, Robert’s proposed to eradicate Stare Decisis from the face of the earth. Steering committee member Dick Cheney outlined a plan. The strategy began with inviting Stare Decisis to address the society at the time of Decisis’ being awarded society membership for opening viewpoints strengthening diversity of opinion.

Stare began his society speech with atypical humility, but this humbleness, of course, could not be sustained. Stare’s Mescal damaged frat brain, grounded in the Handcock U School of Law satire tradition, forcefully shoved down the throats of all affirmative action admissions, determined he would after-all, present in style, little suspecting any possible thing could be wrong…

August members of the Federalist Society, I propose I’m least among many deserving of this award and, with this thought, I begin the evening’s presentation with a few short citations of those more deserving than myself. Please consider my following nominations for a new category of awards, the “I Knew It Was Wrong But Thought It Was Legal” Boner Awards.

My secular hero, Roger Cohen, a man I’d extolled in glory for his courageous stance as a Jew pointing to our Israel policy as a disaster, has ‘pulled a boner’ [exhibited extreme male cowardice] by jumping on Obama’s ‘don’t prosecute for torture’ bandwagon…

Roger needs a lesson in what the term “Rule of Law” is all about, and the idea constitutions make presidents, not vice versa, meaning our constitution informs Obama how things are going to be, and I will simply add to that, a Writ of Mandamus is a court ordering public officials [could possibly include a president as military commander-in-chief and most certainly any attorney general] to carry out their constitutional duties to enforce the rule of law and it is a huge embarrassment to American democracy when that particular legal weapon must be employed… second only to a consent decree… thought I’d note that before I consigned Roger to the booby hatch of legal ignominy with the distinct sound of a flush… bye-bye Roger… (Roger might crawl his way out of the sewer if he stays away from the ‘I knew it was wrong but thought it was legal’ sewage of Anglo-Saxon law, good lawyer joke, eh? Law Ignoramus award…

FBI man Ali Soufan’s “Tortured Decision” editorial, in which he puts on his adopted country’s liberal-bleeding-White-heart sheepskin, admits keeping his mouth shut for seven years and only now speaks out because of the water-boarding torture memos release… Soufan reveals there is more as yet unclassified memos… think about it. This is the FBI concealing crime for seven years and STILL CONCEALING EVIDENCE OF CRIME… enough on this bit before I aspirate my puke… a sort of self-simulated drowning… Soufan earns torturer/traitor/coward awards combined…

Renown ‘civil liberties’ lawyer Harvey Silvergate argues against torture prosecutions, claiming they will make bad law, he appears to rationalize/justify “terror and pain” short of “disfigurement and death”, making the case that Bush did not go as far as the Nazis, so it doesn’t seem so bad… now, going to his legal ignorance on top of his criminal ethics… his idea that; because the torturers supposedly did not know what they were doing was illegal on account of the [fuck] ‘Yoo Principle’ legal memos, they cannot be charged under our Anglo-Saxon laws heritage requiring criminal intent… sorry Harvey but you get the law proverb “a man who represents himself [in his editorial] has a fool for an attorney” award…

Because Harvey ‘nincompoop’ Silvergate goes on to mention the case of the Nazi trials where Americans at Nuremburg convicted people for crimes that seemed perfectly legal in a criminal regime, going to the primal International Law principle “no nation may go against it’s own acts”, also known as, ‘what is good for the goose is good for the gander’… more to this point, we convicted Japanese of war crimes for waterboarding, perfectly fitting this International Law rule which now consequently holds our own people accountable despite the Anglo-Saxon ‘I knew it was wrong but thought it was legal’ principle of law which is now history, past, had been, was the case, in fact legally dead in cases like this, because of the precedent we set for ourselves in the prosecution of others… additionally, under ‘the Silvergate nincompoop rationale’, a certain Nazi camp guard following orders in his assigned duties likely could not have been recently deported to Germany to face criminal charge. Silvergate also earns a Nincompoop award…

Nancy Pelosi admits she knew the Bush administration was spying on (wiretapping) Rep Jane Harman and kept the treasonous secret (for the Bush people), from Harman, notice none of these people ever takes responsibility or shows courage? Pelosi: “I was not allowed to tell [Harman]“ .. so, what was to stop Pelosi telling the entire congress from her podium except cowardice? Pelosi awarded torturers trash the 4th amendment AND friendship ‘Judas’ special award…

Obama Treasury Secretary Timothy ‘get out of jail free’ Geithner meets with President of Switzerland Hans Merz in apparent negotiations to excuse the Swiss bank UBS from having to fork over the names of 52,000 wealthy American tax cheats with secret Swiss accounts… anybody up for a game of “Monopoly?” Timothy just drew what should be a “Go to Jail” card… as he is giving out “Get out of Jail free” cards. Can’t be torturing the wealthy tax cheats with prosecutions… Torturer administration’s Equal protection clause Traitor award…

Robert Gates’ fundamentalist Christian led military had been flaunting the legally binding security agreement Bush made with Iraq, conducting multiple illegal raids, killing and kidnapping Iraqi innocents… several operations had been busted by the Iraqi government, the USA admits a ‘mistake’, the abductees had to be set free… the USA’s ‘Campus Crusade for Christ’ had been intensively continued on the Iraqi front, not only escalated in Afghanistan, under Christian Dominion Central Command’s General ‘Tortures for Jesus’ Patreaus… who’d just as soon kill as torture. Federal death penalty eligible treason award…

Harper’s Magazine cover story “Jesus killed Mohammed” is out, detailing Robert ‘tonton macoutes’ Gates’ Christian military’s religion inspired hate crime against Islam, Jews, Blacks, Women, kids, cartoons and the author of this speech, but particularly noting constitutional law professor Obama, who swore on Abraham Lincoln’s Bible to uphold our constitution and enforce our laws, has abdicated taking on the constitutional crimes against separation of church and state in our military in his role as our commander-in-chief… meanwhile Obama is photographed in the International Herald Tribune together with Gates, evoking Tammy Wynette… “Stand by your man… give him two arms to cling to…” prior to allowng Gates to retire un-prosecuted. Loving Christians torture of Muslims for Jesus award…

Former Attorney General Robert Kennedy had written a legal memo recommending lifting the travel ban to Cuba, noting the travel ban was unconstitutional, he was correct, American’s have a right to freely associate and travel, he was over-ruled by our torturing CIA infested Department of State which kept his memo classified as a state secret for 46 years… State Department gets a corporate service tortured law and treason award [unit citation]

New York Times columnist Roger Cohen takes a stride out of the cesspool of Anglo-Saxon law and the ‘I knew it was wrong but thought it was legal’ no criminal intent defense, by continuing to write on other subjects, maybe soon he will have access to a shower and change of clothes… in his editorial ‘Of loos and language’ (in almost excellent ‘dry’ British humor, yuck) Roger points out the most notable difference between Bush and Obama to now is, it would appear Obama can actually speak English… Kudos Roger!! Of course Roger’s title for his editorial could easily be pointed to this speech, no problem, ‘we’ (you know, the British royal use of ‘we’, as in I admit I’m being a royal asshole) welcome ratings, my noting here Roger had pointed out he’d begun his journey out of the Anglo-Saxon ‘loo of law’ with a key title word in a previous editorial: ‘pirouette’…

A Spanish judge has opened the fourth investigation in Spain going to Bush administration torture… two of the investigations had been previously dismissed or shelved, either for lack of evidence or because of political pressures from the USA. The two investigations opened since Obama taking office are now ongoing, the weaker one previous to this most recent had been opposed by Obama and the USA who have pressured Spain, and this new investigation poses the largest threat yet to his administrations ongoing ‘I knew it was wrong but thought it was legal’ [fuck] ‘Yoo principle’ attempts to give the Bush people and his CIA criminals a get out of jail free card… the judge: “an authorized and systematic plan of torture and abuse of people stripped of liberty, without charges and denied the basic rights afforded detainees” and the court will “seek personal responsibility in the different structures of execution, direction and design and authorization for this systematic torture plan” which of course upon the judicial investigations completion I predict must include American leaders I will name in this presentation, not only Bush and cronies but notably Nancy Pelosi… Obama given a treasonous torturing coward’s campaign star for having opposed these efforts…

Russia is retiring 23,000 military officers in a force ‘modernization’ reorganization, a course of action I highly recommend to Commander-in-Chief Obama (Torquemada?) who should have already dumped the 19,000 USA armed forces officers belonging to the Byzantine Pentagon’s ‘Officer’s Christian Fellowship” that actually believe if you are not a fundamentalist Christian, every motivation you have, no matter how noble, is a subversion of humanity “spearheaded by Satan”- torturers holy inquisition resurrection award…

The cognitive dissonance of a case dismissed at our Justice Department’s prosecutors request… some lobbyists for Israel that probably really deserve to go to jail for treason (espionage) can’t be prosecuted because the judge refused to go along with some of the prosecutions demands for state secrecy in evidence… now our crooks can get off the hook by demanding typical evidence discovery rights of defendants, something judges rightly should not deny, with defendant likely knowing there are so many worms in this particular case’s can of ‘justice’, the Justice Department dare not produce the can… our tortures the law Justice Department gets a treasonous ‘can of worms’ award…

Retired British spook gets it, MI6 man Alastair Crooke (are all financiers are in some sense crooks?, Crooke was a banker who left the industry because he did not like the greed before he was a spy), founded “Conflicts Forum” which seeks to establish the validity of opposing points of view for adversaries so they can honestly negotiate instead of “talking past each other.” Brilliant!! Now, to the disturbing thought his ‘Conflicts Forum’ raised when I read the article and discovered it includes “former spies, diplomats and peace activists…” is the reporter/writer a moron or did he actually mean “former peace activists”… (context, dude, should have been ‘peace activists, diplomats and former spies, although ‘diplomat’ and spy’ are synonyms… journalism’s moron award, but bringing to mind:

One of our human rights organizations has been staffed by CIA in executive position, information I could be arrested and jailed for if I were to go so far as revealing ‘state secret’ identities… who are your CIA? Think about it. These are highly educated people who do 20 years or 30 years and retire to a sailboat or second job or both, depending on the USA retirement plan. Meanwhile, in the operational sector, they chill out under cover when not needed or even use straight jobs AS their cover. Not just a few of them are highly paid professional assassins. They are your diplomats, corporate board members, lawyers, educators (the pretty much out of the closet Rice/Chevron/Hoover Institute/Yoo/Stanford relationship can be seen), cops, FBI agents, pastors, human rights executives and journalists (that is just SO wrong), military officers, diverse corporate executives and employees, doctors, etcetera, normal seeming people afforded frequent vacations or travel often relating to their work… all cover for CIA. This criminal organization penetrates every aspect of society and should be disbanded, as easy as shutting off their (international narcotics trafficking sourced) money… Amnesty International earns the ‘we declined to meet with Ronald West and rather wish he was dead’ human rights front for intelligence agencies award…

Hillary goes to press saying “I loved my job” which actually can only mean ‘I loved jobbing the millions of women who voted for me on social issues’, reiterating Hillary could have had any cabinet position she liked but chose one far away from any reality of insuring honest (single payer?) health care reform or putting forward an American ‘women’s rights’ stamp on this administration… rather burning women alive around the globe with ‘humanitarian’ interventions. Woman Judas award…

My buddy Roger Cohen at the New York Times reads the Harper’s Magazine article “Jesus Killed Mohammed”, poops his pants and pirouettes on his honest column of the previous week accurately depicting Obama as differing from Bush only in the fact Obama can actually speak English… now Roger does journalistic fellatio on Obama’s foreign policy, ‘dripping’ praise for Obama’s differing approach contrasted to the factual “War on Islam” … neglecting to note the Harper’s article and Obama’s callow inability to take on the Pentagon’s religious extremist generals… in which case the Bush/religious-right “War on Islam” actually continues as a Obama policy… Bozo Boner award to Roger [male cowardice]

Roger returns to sensibility, on Israeli dishonesty dealing with peace in the middle east, recovering the pseudo of his manhood, but from here out I am going with Maureen Dowd over Roger’s PMS and mood swings, you just can’t know what to expect from Roger, I’ve been checking out Maureen and she is HOT! A better writer altogether, she has superior courage and took up the theme Roger had abandoned in his panic attack, Maureen, in her much more direct editorial “Cheney grabs a 3rd term” writes how it appears Cheney and Rumsfeld are making policy for their “boy toy” Obama (good one) Maureen Dowd earns a beauty, courage and truth award…

Hamas leader Khalid Meshal on Obama: “His language is different and positive” earns Meshal a honorable mention ‘a sucker is born every minute’ award (by now Meshal has to realize this)

Meshal (who the Obama administration will not include in any mid-east peace process at the insistence of Israel) and Ronald West share the dubious distinction of having survived bungled intelligence service assassination attempts, Meshal poisoned by MOSSAD on the orders of the Israeli prime minister Netanyahu.. multiple attempts on West on the orders of the MOSSAD/CIA/Department of Defense combined ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’ rogue intelligence agents ‘in the service of our religious extremist super-friends alliance’… MOSSAD/CIA/religious extremist super-friends alliance earn a Corporate-Star-Chamber/Curia-Borgia bungler assassins award…

USA hog farming giant Smithfield Corporation murders ‘Wilber’ of Charlottes Web, since they have moved into Romania, Smithfield has run roughshod over environmental laws ill equipped to deal with the new mega-hog’s super-barns… as well in a mere decade they had driven the number of Romanian small pig operations from half a million to less than fifty thousand… with the impact felt as far away as African pig farmers who cannot compete with the sharp and sudden influx of cheap pork. Shareholders swine flu off-shore-tax-haven award, meanwhile, speaking of some real pigs:

The United States Air Force ‘open fly’ boys, piloting bombers sporting JESUS SAVES logos on their ‘cock’pits, shred scores of kids and women in Afghanistan, like Mickey Mouse taking on 7 giants at a single ‘blow’, AGAIN… even as the Pentagon’s religious extremist generals are busted by Al Jeezera TV for lying about concerted effort in command structure promoting Christian proselytizing of Afghans… led by the U.S. Army Chaplains and fundamentalist friends working on saving the souls of those Muslim “children of Satan” in a military that consequently blows the idea ‘Jesus loves the little children’ to bits with air strikes when the kids say ‘no thanks’…

Now, considering United States had planned, authorized and implemented torture, violating treaties we are signed to (never mind just how creepy that is) and that torture will now be altogether excused by our Department of ‘Just Us’ fundamentalist Christians, no problem with the cover-up and denial of the USA’s ‘holy war’ crime that goes on, eh Commander-in-Chief Obama? Any guess why the Afghans might prefer the theology of the Taliban to the ‘liberation’ theology of your military?? Commander-in-Chief Obama gets a ‘I’m still standing behind my Christian Crusaders’ war crimes award…

It’s come back to ‘I knew it was wrong but thought it was legal’ no criminal intent Anglo-Saxon law at Attorney General Holder’s Justice department… where water-boarding is torture but there is no crime involved… The Department of Justice, investigating itself, the same method the Israeli and American militaries use to insure they cannot discover evidence of war crimes or religious extremists and hate crime that exist in it’s ranks… the Justice Department internal inquiry draft report found ‘lapses but no crimes’ relating to the people preparing the ‘torture is legal’ memos, Obama’s Justice Department is determined EVERYONE will get off the hook, includes those who systematically planned, authorized, and implemented war crimes in the treatment of captives… welcome to the United States of Mugabe, Robert ‘tonton macoutes’ Gates’ led CIA in the service of Godfather George H.W. Bush family’s criminal-syndicate-secret-government in charge, all of Gates’ harem ‘boys’ curtsey to their polyandrous spouse… Gates: earns a Bugs Bunny in drag ‘gay wabbit’ award (that is a cruel rabbit, just ask Elmer Fudd)

‘dark queen’ Condoleezza (mirror, mirror on the wall) tells a student at a forum torture is: “legal by definition, if the president authorizes it”, and you just have to wonder at the Israeli philosophy of ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’ because theirs has become a case of ‘with friends like these, who needs enemies?’ It is likely gonna be déjà vu for American Jews, not only the Jews in Israel, the AIPAC initiated American knee-jerk support for Israeli policy, no matter how self destructive, is looking more and more like a case of the chickens headed home to roost when these “perfected in God’s sight Jews” [Ann Coulter, citing St Paul] fundamentalist Christians’ coup is complete and the “Christ killers” [the U.S. military’s Officer’s Christian Fellowship ‘passion’ theology sobriquet for Jews] are told on ‘the water-board’ to convert because Mel Gibson’s Latin ‘rite’ wing Pius X “pray for the Jews” is back in vogue at Rome where water-boarding makes sense, because the church can save the Amazon this way, which a recent Pope had said is equally important to saving the world from homosexuals, rather than waste wood burning the Gays, Jews, Secular Humanists, Witches, women generally, kids that don’t behave, especially alter boys that talk, people who sue the church.. A Coward Named Machismo

Observations on Spanish ‘machismo’ made at Sant Feliu de Guixols and surrounds, January 2009 through August 2010

Many of the western culture’s males are sublimely accomplished liars in their expression. One really good indicator of the western male character you wish to assess, is to observe his woman’s expression.

I was walking and noticed a little kid, about 2 ½ years old, stopped to jump up and down from sheer joy of life. This was importune because the more important adult did not wish to be annoyed in the slightest in his desire to walk with some great dignity? His important appointment? He paused only long enough to grab his little boy by the arm and smack his butt, bringing hurt to a once joyful child’s expression and of course tears as the child was instructed to dutifully march after.

The man’s expression? Normal throughout. As though this were a regular guy you’d have no concern to meet and become acquainted. His wife? Silent, but with hurt and pained expression, the lines of her face increasingly permanent from habit. A hypocritical male dignity imposing a great indignity upon the human spirit.

She can say nothing or likely he beats her, behind closed door. She will not age gracefully, her beauty sacrificed to stress in a slavery to machismo, where a rule of male hierarchy in too many case gives lip service to the rights of women, nothing more. Her son, the little boy, will be as his father before him, his mother capitulated and he becomes the violence of the man who owns her, his future wife and daughters will be bond servants, mortgaged to violence.

I do notice some things. For four months there had been an attractive woman, a single mom, minding her own business, raising kids… nothing remarkable, there are many good looking women in Spain, and other than to notice her and other ‘cliff dwellers’, the unavoidable life observed from my rooftop had been mostly uneventful.

After four months, it seemed overnight, she turned into a harpy, a super-bitch and terrorist of her children. I puzzled on that for a couple of days, an event one cannot ignore, wondering why this sudden onslaught of what should not be dismissed as PMS (a favorite ploy of men), and the reason became manifest: there was now a man in her life. She had scored her Playgirl magazine model. This follows on my observing another (neighboring) family in a circumstance of domestic violence, I decidedly noticed women who are beaten or otherwise abused or put down by their men, take it out on the kids, they terrorize their children in turn.

The kids already are acting out at an age that simply is amazing. The little girl already screaming out at every move her older brother makes, that was not noticed before, she is not yet old enough to talk much and he is not much older than that. This phenomena had been nearly immediate, the onset within a mere week or two. This must become the shadow boxing I have observed in the male teens, when walking the Rambla or the beach boardwalks in my vicinity, thinking to myself the beautiful young girl is going to be beaten by her boyfriend who is mock threatening her with his fists, by this age numbed to violence as a woman, she puts up with it passively, dismissively or in a very superficially annoyed way.. neither leaving nor decisively facing the boy down.

She will set out to be conquered as a social expectation, as I have observed in lovers a few years older, where in full public view, lying on the sand, she submits to a virtual rape with a weak appearance of resistance as he pins her down with his arms and body, in a simulated violence mocking the act of making love. Children will, of course, more often than not come after, and the cycle must begin again… an ever growing phenomena

One interesting thing to me, is these women, although they have a sort of awareness, they must, because of not only observable anger, but also guilt and shame (you can observe these as well), do not actually think about their circumstance in a frontal way. Otherwise they would not be caught in such a circumstance, or at least one must suspect this would be the case. Follows the thought, why would it be any surprise these women fear men, or simply do not like them, the eye contact is not often friendly and often not friendly at all, most women are simply afraid to meet you with the eyes, yet it occurs to me the men many of these women must be acquainted with are as great a threat as any stranger. A Native American woman, Fee Tenkiller, observed:

“A culture based on machismo is one of a complex matrix of social fears. The man fears not being manly enough, so he dominates the women in his life. The woman fears the violence of the man, while also fearing she is not adequate as a woman if she does not have a man. She learns to be manipulative, alternately playing passive and aggressive roles. He learns to threaten and lie. It all comes out in pain and libido through a dance of sound, fury, and violence real and pretended. The fears themselves are interweavings of anger and frustration taken out in rape masked as “love,” hits and punishment masked as “order,” and a general insanity masked as “normal.” Like a row of falling dominos it doesn’t stop with just one strike, but continues on through the family, through the neighborhood, from man to man, man to woman, child to child, and child to dog”

I could not say it better and the juxtaposition is interesting.

There are cultural vestiges, only that, the young Native American girls becoming interested in boys still initiate negotiations which can be face saving if there is not an interest.. a small piece of a world where women, primarily, had initiated relationships and encountered little fear of abuse coming at the hands of men… it did not often happen… and would not be tolerated for long because the people there did not pretend they could not see. And Native men were possessed of a courage and knowledge that is yet much misunderstood in the civilization of Columbus who represented a different class of men, men who were absolutely amazed at the respect accorded women in the ‘new world.’

The church would have none of that… the Native kids were introduced to rampant abuse in the prisons called boarding schools, slave labored, starved, beaten and raped (the boys particularly) into Christians, and they all were taught women are dirty because they caused sin and for that, women all should be virgins.. I simply don’t understand the church idea of women as dirty AND virgins.. perhaps temple virgins would make more sense.. if virgin for virgin’s sake makes any sense at all.. boys whoring around in their youth does not seem to make men dirty… in so far as those things go.. some boys never grow up.

It was in Girona I saw the beautiful young woman with her dog on a leash, sitting on a bench waiting.. for what or who, I do not know.. her dog, a Boxer, drooled on her shoe and drew a slap in the face and the epithet “Whore!” It would be amazing to me if it were the same woman, but after a few days, I was standing having a smoke while waiting for my bus adjacent to a train station. The station had an upper level on supports with an elevator, both upper and lower level were open and visible, simply an elevated platform with the tracks above.

The beautiful young woman had her dog and her baggage and was preparing to take the elevator down, the dog, a Boxer, stepped inside while the woman was distracted with her luggage and the elevator door closed on the Boxer, and the dog alone went down… while the woman above beat on the closed elevator door with her fists shouting VERY loudly: “WHORE!!” I suspect that is NOT her dog’s name.

The dog stepped out of the elevator at the bottom and turned and obediently waited.. the woman came down, grabbed the Boxer’s leash and except for a certain something in her posture, moved on as though nothing had happened…

This male role model surrounds me, unseen by the women who live under a cruelty as though they do not realize they are in some sense already dead.

On the Rambla during holidays, or on the beachfront, or any of the places you may wish to sit in the out of doors in a public place, kids with fireworks have no care for the old man or woman, they walk along and toss their small bombs indiscriminately as their parents look on, nothing matters except the child’s pleasure, a reflection of a fathers attitude.. and if you seem irritated the child has made his explosions nearly in your face, driving you away, the woman perhaps behaves a bit embarrassed but the man acts as though he were almighty god, glaring at and daring you to say something.

I was amazed to see a young man in his twenties go to great lengths to torture a sick pigeon.. the bird was obviously weak and desperate.. the young man jumped over the wall bordering the walkway on the beach and kicked sand at the bird with obvious pleasure, each time the sick bird flew a few feet and was chased down again and again to have sand kicked in its face. I thought it was the act of a depraved individual but I was wrong, it is the act of an entire culture, because on another day I was sitting in a park feeding the pigeons when the respectable looking family on a walk in my proximity saw their young male child, only the male, not the daughters, suddenly break away to kick sand in the face of the pigeons I was feeding, the dirt was kicked into my face as well, the child was so enabled of his behavior, there was no necessity whatsoever to notice his surrounding, to take stock, to consider the consequence of his actions, to care for the peace of his neighbor.

His mother was embarrassed, she whined to her son in the most helpless way, that he should consider the consequence of his action, and although I clearly could hear her, it was as though she were a mute to the male child, he had no consideration for her voice, as though she were some ornament in his life destined only for attention when he desired a pleasure. The father walked on as though he had a stick up his ass, saying nothing but giving that look of ‘I’ll kick your ass if you dare say anything to embarrass me’ ..not a word was said by this man said to correct his male child for inflicting indignity on an old man, a stranger, reinforcing to his male child the woman’s appearance of unimportance and helplessness with her mute admonition.

On another day I was sitting by the water when a group of mentally disabled were brought to the beach by their woman care givers. The young retarded man was kicking water into the face of his sister as though she were a pigeon, the women caring for the group helplessly whining at him to stop, as unimportant to him as though they were the wives of the males preceding. The beauty in spirit of the young retarded woman was injured, her joy at the beach and water destroyed, her tears and heartbreak unimportant, no one thought to comfort her or, more truthfully, no one of her women caregivers was willing to be embarrassed with an admission of their helplessness to prevent the hurt inflicted with moving in public to comfort her, a chauvinist imposed restriction they must be, with their shame and embarrassment, only subconsciously aware of.

It was not far away at all, on another day on the beachfront walkway, sitting on a bench I witnessed a male child with an inner tube beating his sister. He was probably 12 years old, she was perhaps 14. The young male did not care to notice he nearly knocked an old woman passerby over, and forcing other people on their walks to detour his violence, he swung his large rubber doughnut in wide arcs with much force, his sister laughing bravely at the blows to her body.

When he managed a blow to her head and had knocked her off balance, she went down on the paving stones with legs spread wide and he not hesitate to deliver, with obvious satisfaction, the most forceful blow he could muster, directly to her vagina. Her laughs and expression were now truly pained and I did (because of the mother studiously ignoring) what no passerby dared, I confronted the young man with his behavior. When I approached, he actually seemed to expect praise at his demonstrations of male superiority. When I told him he really was NOT a nice person, his face drew back in the most unimaginable and incredible expression of stunned stupidity as he said “Huh?” The sudden rise and sharply genuine quality of his sister’s laughter was a great reward.

Then there was the extended family at a sidewalk café, fashionable and social, all ignoring the older brother punching his young sister strapped in her stroller, her cries ignored as though as natural as a birds sounds in nature.

I saw a woman die of a murder and if she had broken free of machismo’s grip over her survival instinct, perhaps myself or someone else could have helped her and she would be alive. But she is dead and there was nothing to be done for her because she refused to help herself and trust the goodwill of any one or two of the many people in her vicinity, myself included, the legacy of her culture…

I was waiting on a train at platform 14 at Barcelona Sants, I’d bought a paper and was reading while seated on a bench in the station. A young couple approached, well dressed fashionable people, she was clearly agitated, extremely… he seemed expressionless… she chose to sit next to me, he followed and sat by her on her other side and she did not like it, it was obvious. Her expression looked like a Van Gogh or El Greco ‘terror in the asylum’ painting if such a thing can be etched on the human face without a scream. I noticed and minded my own business because she was not overtly or vocally indicating distress. I only wondered at that moment, why people get themselves into and stay together in relationships that obviously are stressed to point of fear and loathing, it seemed I’d seen this many times observing the Spanish people. I went back to my reading. She stood up and moved away probably 10 feet, he followed and they were standing there together for a what seemed like a few minutes, I had glanced up when she had moved away from me and was then reading again.

Like a small girls voice “eeeeeeeee” I looked up as she lurched away from him, she made eye contact with me as blood erupted from her nose and mouth and she took two or three small steps directly towards me, and collapsed and died, he’d stabbed her and his knife must have found her heart, it was that fast… I did not initially see the knife (it was in her back) but I didn’t think she lurched away from him and dropped dead like that from Ebola Virus, as there was no sound of a shot.

He then kneeled over her and from that moment acted as though he had only love for her with prayers… while I’m trying to ask a woman for the Spanish ‘emergency’ phone number (she was too freaked out to be helpful, someone else made the call), and two men who were also close to the event and had a different angle or view, reacted (after some moments hesitation) with trying to help a [clearly] dead woman with her now praying killer kneeling right there.

Having no fluency in the local language, I stayed away deciding I would be more hindrance than help, at any rate, having been to war, it was pretty clear to me she was already dead and they would sort that fact soon enough.

An attempt at CPR was not a pleasing result (a graphic imagination will paint that picture) and quickly abandoned, a policeman arrived, determined she was indeed dead and the ‘man in prayer’ was directly and emphatically pointed out (extended arms with forefingers pointed straight to the bowed head inches away) to the policeman when the policeman asked (I presume, I did not understand the Catalan) the other two men who’d also been close to the event and tried to assist the woman, who had killed her?

Was her killer’s machismo so important to possessing this trophy (her physical beauty) that he had felt compelled to murder her, because she obviously wanted away from him… and then he supposedly loves her with tender attention when she is dead, and with prayer? NO EMOTION, only this sanctimonious kneeling posture… this is something I just don’t understand, I doubt I ever will.

Paramedics had now arrived and were waiting together with the policeman, it seemed as though, for the killer’s prayers to be finished, although in actuality they would have been waiting for a gurney to remove her body or, perhaps in some sense it was both, as my train arrived and it seemed there was nothing else to do but get on. I boarded the train with a couple of dozen horrified people and the scene was left behind as though we had left on a cinema spaceship. The story is surreal, as in the maxim ‘The truth is stranger than fiction.’

I am the last person this dying woman ever clearly saw, as she took her last steps while making eye contact with me and collapsed and died less than six feet away, my having been at that moment closer to her than anyone other than her killer. Her expression communicated a sense of ‘Look at this, why didn’t you help me?’

Suppose she had said something, ASKED for help, said something like ‘get this man away from me’… put her shin swiftly to his crotch and run, while shouting ‘he is after me to kill me’, done ANYTHING to save herself from what in retrospect was clearly demonstrated in her expression of terror, she knew she was going to die, she knew this guy was there to kill her. WHY DID SHE DO NOTHING?

For the fact of her Spanish upbringing, fear was her killer before the guy ever stuck his knife in her back. She should have made some effort to survive, this woman who’d clearly trusted the wrong man and consequently could not trust a stranger or, one could say she could not trust herself to ask a stranger for help, literally, to save her own life. So, my question for these women would be why live in fear? Why die of fear? Because of fear you have no life already. I am not the only one to notice. As a young man from Chile had after volunteered to me: “In Spain, the men kill their women.”

Don Rumsfeld & Dick Cheney’s Dog

You all have heard of the first grade primer ‘Dick and Jane’? Well, as fate would have it, Dick did not grow up to love Jane, because Dick (like Don) matured into a homosexual in denial, or “RRR” (sounds like a Rottweiler growl), one of those closet morality, socially/sexually frustrated and consequently mean people known as a Religious Right Republican.

So, this has to be a adult repressed homosexual ‘dick’, or machismo porn variation, of the ‘Dick and Jane’ story. Consequently, the story of how Don Rumsfeld met his demise, because of Dick Cheney’s dog, is pretty screwed up.

It’s called: Don and ‘dick’

Rumsfeld was visiting ‘big dick’ Cheney at Cheney’s ‘spread’ in Wyoming, Cheney was wishing he could have shot George Bush in the face with his shotgun because the coward George flinched and did not pull the trigger on Iran…

While reminiscing missed opportunities at initiating Armageddon, wishing they could have shot more people in the face, especially more Arabs, and about their longing for certain fascists to be in their lives, past and present, secular and religious.. among other things, Rummy suddenly asked ‘big dick’ why his Rottweiler, “Machismo”, was always locked in his kennel.

Mean people have mean dogs and, Dick explained to Don that “Machismo” had an edge about him, Machismo simply could not be trusted around visitors. Dick went on to explain how he wished it were otherwise and how he wished Machismo could be trusted to obey him and only tear apart people that he did not like, he’d tried dog trainers but they cost him money, too much money, because Machismo took a chuck of flesh out of all of them, every dog trainer he had tried. His insurance premiums had gone sky high, all on account of Machismo.

Rumsfeld: “Why don’t you get a different dog?”

Cheney: “Because I love my Machismo.”

Then Don had an idea.

Rumsfeld: “Hey Dick, there is the Arapaho Indian Reservation right up the road, why don’t you get a Medicine Man to take the edge off your Machismo? I saw on the Discovery Channel the Indians can talk to animals, you know they are all devil worshippers, so maybe there is something to it.”

Dick’s eyes brightened considerably, an amazing thing, as though a light had turned on upstairs, but then his brow furrowed back to normal, as though nobody were home.

Cheney: “That’s the problem. They are all devil worshipers, you know, Indians are sorcerers like the Old Testament forbids be ‘found among us.’”

So Don and Dick discussed that and came up with a solution. If they were not at Dick’s ‘spread’ while the medicine man worked with Dick’s Machismo, the sorcerer would not be found ‘among them’ and it would all be ok in the end, because St Paul had said “All things work together for good” for Christians like Don and Dick. So they sent a Secret Service agent to find a medicine man with an explanation of how Dick would like the edge taken off of his Machismo, and then went quail hunting, so the Indian sorcerer would not be ‘found among them.’

The secret service agent found a medicine man, a Blackfoot married to an Arapaho and living in Wyoming, a typical dumb Indian, who with a look of stunned disbelief, kept asking the agent again and again “What!?” After the agent had identified himself four times and explained Dick Cheney wanted the edge taken off his Machismo eight times, a light filled this Blackfoot Indian’s eyes, this agent was serious, and the devil was right at home.

Indians know when the gods deliver the opportunity of a lifetime, and this was opportunity at redemption. It had been awhile since the medicine men had been noticed, that is, the now days scarce authentic ones, and the agent had stumbled onto the real McCoy. First and foremost, this Indian believed in the Native law of reciprocity and well knew how it worked, something the Whitemen had not sorted out since Jesus had told them about it two millennia ago: “As you sow, so shall you reap.”

In this Indian’s world view, the opportunity was all about deliverance, and the attending attrition from any consequence, a sort of natural quantum mechanics shamanic death manifest by friendly fire, simply would have to be tolerated, because the medicine men are all about manifesting truth, and this native cultural idea taken together with the dogs name, set out the path to healing Dick’s Machismo: The dog would have to be taught how to enjoy narcissistic sex, instead of biting people.

Initially, the medicine man realized he would have to endure Machismo’s instinct to hump his leg, that was disturbing, but to reach the goal beyond… The Indian told the agent, well, ok, he would do it for ‘dick.’ The agent missed the straight faced Indian humor… and utterly failed his agency’s chartered mandate.

Indians are observational people, primarily, and know the purpose of dog butt sniffing rituals, sort of like when a Blackfoot and Cree spot each other from across a boulevard in downtown Calgary, the hair goes up on both backs and both Indians are thinking to the other “You can sniff my butt” in a historical context, and it is not a friendly thought. The actual butt sniffing between them is purely psychic, preceding any challenge and fight, and the medicine man doctoring Dick’s Machismo would need to circumvent this phenomena to achieve his aims. So sorcery came into play. He collected urine from a bitch in heat, rubbed a little of it on his knee, and bringing more along in a vial, he traveled to heal Dick’s Machismo.

The dog was very happy to see him, no hostility or butt sniffing ritual encountered at all, the Indian told the agent he had to work with the dog alone, brought out a plastic baby rattle wrapped in leather with a few strings with beads, to look convincing, and Dick’s fundamentalist christian body guard was more than happy to leave. Then this Indian began to work with Dick’s Machismo… “Now Machismo, my leg is a good beginning, but we have to show you something, you don’t need my leg or me at all, you can do this all for yourself- just follow her scent to where it feels so right….”

In Blackfoot language we have a word, I don’t know how to spell it in the Whiteman’s language, but it sounds something like oww-woe-tops and it means you are crazy and “everyone knows the Whiteman is crazy” is a Blackfoot proverb proven again and again, example given, Dick Cheney hiring an Indian that hates him, as every Indian should, to tame his Machismo. There is another Blackfoot word I dare not try to pronounce here, but it means “Dog Face.” It is about as bad as Blackfeet language profanity gets, and it is not as tame as it might seem, initially. The term refers to a certain facial expression…

Don and Dick were headed back to Dicks ‘spread’, the agent had called and told them the medicine man had pronounced Dick’s Machismo healed and was leaving, and as fate would have it, the medicine man, and Don and Dick, passed each other on the dirt and gravel country road, the Indian pushing his 1968 Chevy pickup named the “Red Jet” as hard as he could, the worn out 327 V-8 boiling blue smoke into the dust storm he was whipping up behind him, windows down, braids flying, wild eyed panic combined with a maniacal mirth at his crime, co-mingled with prayers to all the gods that he WOULD escape… thinking when he saw Don and Dick “you can sniff my butt” while trying to put on as many miles as he could, as fast as he could, to escape Dick’s ‘spread.’ Don said “God Damn”, Dick in the same moment saying “he must have brought along his whiskey”…

Dick and Don, walking to the kennel, turned a corner bringing Machismo into view in that very moment Machismo was swallowing it, gulping himself down with a certain facial expression… Don had a sudden epiphany, and he exclaimed “Machismo sucks!”, and Dick’s perpetual grimace of hate torqued down to the point it actually broke his primitive semblance of a mind, he pulled his permitted concealed weapon…

The camera pans away to the beautiful red rock cliffs of Wyoming, there was a first shot echoed together with Machismo’s dying yelp, Don shouted “NO!” and the second shot was heard… a pause.. the third shot sounded and America never heard Dick Cheney say “Terror” again.

In the here-after, for all of eternity, Don repeated “Look Dick, look. See Machismo suck!” And for all of eternity Dick shot Machismo and Don, again and again and could not kill them or himself (because they were already dead.)

The Secret Service agent kept his mouth shut about his role in the cause behind the Rumsfeld/Cheney murder/suicide, and no one came after the medicine man who laughed for years, again and again like a child, every time he recalled:

“you can sniff my butt”

Heroin, Bags of Cash & the CIA
CIA Narcotics Trafficking, Vietnam to Afghanistan

It had been reported in the New York Times the CIA has been handing off many millions of dollars to individuals in the Afghan government to buy influence. Using open source analysis, I will propose a case for these many millions being heroin trafficking ‘hush money.’ But first, a bit of history:

In 1970, serving in Vietnam, I had transferred from the 199th Light Infantry Brigade based at Long Binh, for extended tour of duty with the 330th Transportation Company located at Vung Tau. The US Army Airfield at Vung Tau was an advanced aircraft maintenance location, primarily, with a runway that could handle freight aircraft up to a C-130. By far, however, it was mainly a service center for helicopters needing advanced repairs, engine overhauls, rotor replacements, et cetera. Among other tasks, I worked airfield perimeter and flight line security. We had fully armed Cobra gun ships for airfield protection that needed secured from possible sapper attack, particularly, as well as the more typical security needs. The period was from October of 1970 to November of 1971.

As an E-5, I had responsibility for men on the perimeter at times, at other times on the flight line. Perimeter duty in my sector was parallel to the landing and take off (main) runway. This was Vietnam approaching late stage conflict. Heroin addiction was estimated by myself and other non-commissioned officers to be about 30% of the US Forces enlisted men on this airfield. Our own company and it’s platoons were about this average level of addicts as was our understanding this being the similar case of the other Army units located there.

Again and again, over this 13 month period, heroin ran out. It could not be missed when nearly a third our soldiers at Vung Tau, a few hundreds of men, went into physical and mental symptom of withdrawal. It was not pretty. This was not the weak, comparatively speaking, heroin someone would needle. It was STRONG. It was smoked or ‘snorted’ up the nose. Intravenous use of this drug would have been almost instantly fatal. Tremendous quantity of the drug was consumed by these horrifically addicted men.

Vung Tau could not be easily supplied with heroin on demand, without some serious interruptions, in the large quantities required to maintain the habits of hundreds of badly addicted soldiers by Viet Cong or North Vietnamese agents. The location was separated from the mainland by bracken marsh, accessed by a single causeway secured in multiple sectors with tightly controlled traffic having to pass American and Australian security checks. By sea would have been more likely, but here it is also problematic for the un-interrupted enemy supply of our soldiers with drugs. Vung Tau was highly secured by sea with armed patrol boats because of the high military value of its mission. It is a small area of land with essentially little coastline to secure. Security was tight. Interdiction would have been a near certainty, at least once in a while. It didn’t happen.

The Viet Cong or North Vietnamese agents of course did not have air access to us. The CIA did.

It was nowhere near rocket science to note the CIA airline Air America flight that parked 1/4 mile away from every other aircraft, never came in to parking area. Typically, 3 people, armed, stayed with the aircraft, command staff car picked up 2 others. Luggage (nearly modern steamer trunks filled with not only heroin but also high grade marijuana) for at least 10 (TEN) people was picked up by a 3/4 ton truck, with 2 persons riding with the baggage, 1 left guarding the aircraft. All airfield personnel were strictly instructed NEVER to approach the Air America flights. They never stayed more than several hours. Bingo, heroin flush by that evening. Again and again. Every time the soldier’s suppliers had run out of heroin, there was an Air America flight landed. Problem solved, the addicted soldiers were functional again.

After Vietnam I served with 19th Special Forces Group as (11F40) Sergeant for Operations and Intelligence, working together with some of the best in the field, a position that eventually pointed to my later career as an investigator. In conversation with special forces veterans of CIA liaised Indochina operations, it became clear CIA narcotics trafficking in Vietnam was not a ‘one off’ by some isolated or small rogue element. I continued to follow the CIA in the available sources and have made some assessments, drawn some conclusions.

The covert, operational or ‘black ops’ sector itself of the CIA has been the source of major narco-trafficking or, there has been a large and well organized rogue element within this sector where oversight is problematic. These people are in major international drug trafficking and their worldwide tracks are beginning to emerge over time, with overwhelming circumstantial evidence.

It had been established by the 1970s and reported on in media that the CIA had bought the loyalties of tribes in the so called ‘Golden Triangle’ opium producing region with cash for their crop, the most likely or closest proximity, raw base or source of the heroin in Vietnam. War zones with covert logistics for intelligence services are perfect opportunities to commercially process on large scale with no effective police oversight. Again and again, reliable CIA narcotics trafficking accounts have surfaced only to be quashed, noting in the linked affidavit, the Iran-Contra’s Robert Gates associated Richard Secord, and George W Bush’s Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage (at time of invasion of Afghanistan.)

After Vietnam, and the loss of direct military backing in force for our covert agency and no longer in control of the necessary areas in the region, heroin waned and cocaine became big. One only has to look at the tracks of the graduates of the School of the Americas, and connect the dots. This is the CIA associated initial source of the leadership training that has today’s Mexican Federal Police sometimes overwhelmed in pitched battles with drug lord militiamen that are now days professional commandos. Move south from there and you had Noriega in Panama, same source of training and a CIA asset, became a major international narco-trafficker.

South farther again and you have Uribe associated with cartels, right wing militias and associated death squads, CIA, School of the Americas training, all in the mix of Colombia, and drug trade and coca production is up there, eradication a farce. In 2005 you find Gulf Stream jets used in the CIA renditions are passing through the hands of known CIA assets, to Uribe family linked cartel, one had crashed in Mexico carrying 4 tons of Cocaine as noted in the narco-sphere news:

“the Gulfstream II was purchased less than two weeks before it crashed in Mexico by a duo that included a U.S. government operative who allegedly had done past contract work for a variety of US law enforcement and intelligence agencies, according to a known CIA asset (Baruch Vega) who is identified as such in public court records. The four tons of cocaine onboard of the Gulfstream II at the time of its crash landing, according Vega, was purchased in Colombia via a syndicate that included a Colombian narco-trafficker named Nelson Urrego, who, according to Panamanian press reports and Vega, is a U.S. government (CIA) asset”

And now Mexico is severing its relationship with the CIA having anything to do with the so-called ‘war on drugs’ and it is a smart move (when considering the Pentagon has enlisted Blackwater as a contractor in the business.) Meanwhile the ‘war on drugs’ discovers the Rick Perry administration in the George W Bush home state of Texas moves very quickly to shut down investigators who’d discovered high powered American judges, politicians and law enforcement at parties thrown by drug cartels. Couple this to a joint Blackwater/CIA covert assassination program that had been run by known cartel killer Enrique Prado, coupled to Erik Prince’s known religious extremism with ties to and funding of the American religious right, one may more than speculate international narcotics trafficking is funding Rick Perry’s Islamophobic Tea Party.

And Bush appointed Robert Mueller’s FBI? NOT INTERESTED, Small wonder with Mueller having been at the center of damage control and cover-up of the Iran-Contra linked BCCI terror and narcotics money laundering scandal. This is reinforced when Attorney General Eric Holder had concealed religious-right big shot Carl Lindner‘s contributions to the Uribe linked AUC death squads in Colombia.

The CIA trafficking in Latin America is the most well documented, on account of the Iran-Contra affair having spilled into the open. And it is here we come up with the Bush family criminal syndicate who’s who of international narcotics traffickers .. oh and that ties into George H.W. Bush’s close buddy Bill Clinton, the business is a bi-partisan bag of maggots.

Blackwater, who the Pentagon had farmed out the ‘war on drugs’ in Mexico to, is identified as an extension of the CIA. Meanwhile, Blackwater’s military contractor aviation had become a multi-hundred million dollar business.

A Robert Gates linked Iran-Contra player, Duane Clarridge, had a ‘private’ CIA operating in Afghanistan, run by an Air Force contractor named Michael Furlong The New York Times had reported. Some 40 days after this story broke, we see this:

“Defense Secretary Robert Gates has opened an inquiry into whether civilian Department of Defense (Air Force) employee Michael Furlong had “violated rules” by using his position inside a highly secured military facility to coordinate a secret, unauthorized spy ring employing private contractors, to include convicted Iran-Contra CIA operative Duane ‘Dewey’ Clarridge.”

By waiting 40 days since this had spilled, Robert Gates had given damage control in this affair ample time to meet, plan, erase tracks, create false leads, and destroy evidence. Throughout his series, the New York Times reporter neglects to mention Robert Gates is also an Iran-Contra figure with a history of cover-up, investigated by prosecutor Lawrence Walsh who stated:

“By October, when Gates claimed he first remembered hearing of the diversion, Casey ordered an inquiry and later made a report to Poindexter; but, by then, the Hasenfus aircraft had been shot down and Casey and Gates were beginning to cover.”

The now known operation coordinated by Furlong employed International Media Ventures, run by veterans of General McChrystal’s Special Operations forces, American International Security, run by a former Green Beret, and most interestingly, as we have seen, a company belonging to Duane ‘Dewey’ Clarridge, a former top CIA official with close ties to Robert Gates and Iran-Contra, as well utilized by the FBI in Afghanistan. Gates waited well over a month to “open an inquiry” to see whether “rules were violated” (notice contract murder is suddenly a mere ‘rules violation.’) With reports across the globe shouting bloody murder at the trouble he was in, Furlong appears never to have been prosecuted. Where had the Furlong/Clarridge operation been based and run out of? Almost certainly from the government protected Afghan drug lord (and presidential brother) Walid Karzai’s CIA rented compound outside Kandahar. The Clarridge operation is most certainly a cover for heroin trafficking.

Now the clincher. More than 90% of this years Heroin supplied to the world (90% TO THE WORLD) will come from poppies grown in Afghanistan. This is not just the Taliban folks, it is the CIA. Cleaning up the problem or cornering the market? It would very much seem any ‘drug eradication program is window dressing the problem while in actuality cornering the market. This thought is buttressed by the Russian experience with attempting cooperation in cleaning up the hundreds of heroin labs in Afghanistan, with the American military commanders at the top blocking any efforts:

After, (video, above) the Russians’ high visibility whistle-blowing, there is grudging (and minimal) actions by the USA, busting just a few labs out of hundreds and ONLY those labs it would seem are not under the CIA’s protection. The southwest of Afghanistan is the poppy region where the USA military had taken a ‘hands off’ attitude and done little to nothing to address the problem. Any drug interdiction program efforts had been initiated against only THOSE OPUIM FARMERS WHO DO BUSINESS WITH THE TALIBAN, or 15% of the labs and traffickers. The Taliban’s 15% control of 93% of the world market for opium & heroin is still nearly 14% the world supply, this is no small business in the matter of funding their insurgency, not to mention their product is likely laundered through the CIA for export. As the USA winds down the American military involvement, it is clear the problem had never been honestly addressed.

Meanwhile, a British ambassador had been sent packing for investigating the problem from neighboring Uzbekistan and subsequently pens an article “Britain is Protecting the Biggest Heroin Crop of All Time.” It is interesting to note his linking a murdered former Russian anti-corruption investigator, Alexander Letvnenko working for MI6, had uncovered the Afghan heroin pipeline to St Petersburg… a crime blamed in popular media on Russia with little mention whatsoever of his connections in this regard. Litvenenko’s fatal mistake likely had been to concurrently cooperate with Spanish authorities on Russian mafia, bringing him too close to his expertise on the Afghan heroin pipelines. That MI6 may have been the actual perpetrator of Litvenenko’s murder is almost a certainty, with MI6 now also having been identified as piling ‘off the record’ cash to the government of Karzai and its known close connections to heroin trafficking. In the end, it come down to western complicity in the Afghan heroin trade is old news.

And in a 2009 interview with Phillip Giraldi, former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds has the following to say:

EDMONDS: Okay. So these conversations, between 1997 and 2001, had to do with a Central Asia operation that involved bin Laden. Not once did anybody use the word “al-Qaeda.” It was always “mujahideen,” always “bin Laden” and, in fact, not “bin Laden” but “bin Ladens” plural. There were several bin Ladens who were going on private jets to Azerbaijan and Tajikistan. The Turkish ambassador in Azerbaijan worked with them.

There were bin Ladens, with the help of Pakistanis or Saudis, under our management. Marc Grossman was leading it, 100 percent, bringing people from East Turkestan into Kyrgyzstan, from Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan, from Azerbaijan some of them were being channeled to Chechnya, some of them were being channeled to Bosnia. From Turkey, they were putting all these bin Ladens on NATO planes. People and weapons went one way, drugs came back.

GIRALDI: Was the U.S. government aware of this circular deal?

EDMONDS: 100 percent. A lot of the drugs were going to Belgium with NATO planes. After that, they went to the UK, and a lot came to the U.S. via military planes to distribution centers in Chicago and Paterson, New Jersey. Turkish diplomats who would never be searched were coming with suitcases of heroin.

GIRALDI: And, of course, none of this has been investigated. What do you think the chances are that the Obama administration will try to end this criminal activity?

EDMONDS: Well, even during Obama’s presidential campaign, I did not buy into his slogan of “change” being promoted by the media and, unfortunately, by the naïve blogosphere. First of all, Obama’s record as a senator, short as it was, spoke clearly. For all those changes that he was promising, he had done nothing. In fact, he had taken the opposite position, whether it was regarding the NSA’s wiretapping or the issue of national-security whistleblowers. We whistleblowers had written to his Senate office. He never responded, even though he was on the relevant committees.

As soon as Obama became president, he showed us that the State Secrets Privilege was going to continue to be a tool of choice. It’s an arcane executive privilege to cover up wrongdoing—in many cases, criminal activities. And the Obama administration has not only defended using the State Secrets Privilege, it has been trying to take it even further than the previous terrible administration by maintaining that the U.S. government has sovereign immunity. This is Obama’s change: his administration seems to think it doesn’t even have to invoke state secrets as our leaders are emperors who possess this sovereign immunity. This is not the kind of language that anybody in a democracy would use.

The other thing I noticed is how Chicago, with its culture of political corruption, is central to the new administration. When I saw that Obama’s choice of chief of staff was Rahm Emanuel, knowing his relationship with Mayor Richard Daley and with the Hastert crowd, I knew we were not going to see positive changes. Changes possibly, but changes for the worse. It was no coincidence that the Turkish criminal entity’s operation centered on Chicago.

Criminals do not voluntarily surrender their business models. Cleaning up the problem is not going to happen until the CIA covert operations is brought under control. The CIA, or a rogue element within the organization has been, personally enriching themselves for decades as international narco-traffickers, my assessment. All the while using our nation’s ‘Security’ together with all of the power of the apparatus the term implies, to cover a rogue and criminal club within our ranks. And so, another example of how it is the pursuit of violence through wars corrupts and/or attracts corrupt people. C’est la vie.

Additional Notes

An interesting aside, General Patraeus figures into the Latin America/Iran-Contra era, when he supervised his friend and professional associate from the CIA ‘Dirty Wars’ days, death squad veteran James Steele, when running covert torture centers in Iraq.

These following stories from the AP WIRE [4 years ago] point to, among other things, CIA having wiretapped DEA to prevent DEA stumbling on CIA international narco-trafficking and continued efforts by our Justice Department to cover-up crime with the state secrets doctrine:

Sep 11th, 2009 | WASHINGTON — A federal judge says the CIA is hiding behind dubious national security arguments to shield itself from a potentially embarrassing lawsuit U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth, who earlier ruled that CIA officials committed fraud to protect a former covert agent accused in the suit, has rejected an emergency request to put the case on hold while the government appeals.

The CIA has argued that allowing the case to proceed would divulge classified information, but, in an opinion made public on Friday, Lamberth said there was no good reason to delay.

In the suit, a former Drug Enforcement Administration agent claims the CIA illegally wiretapped his home when stationed in Rangoon, Burma in 1993. The agent, Richard Horn, said he became suspicious when he returned from a trip to find his government-issued rectangular coffee table had been replaced with a round one.

The case has been a test of the Obama administration’s use of the so-called state secrets privilege, when the government seeks to block legal action by saying the details that would be revealed would harm national security.

Administration officials have pledged to review all state secrets claims made by the previous Bush administration, but in many cases the government is still asserting the need to prevent disclosures that it says would harm national security.

In the DEA case, Lamberth has previously rejected the state secrets claim. Government lawyers are attempting to reassert the privilege but on different grounds, but the judge isn’t buying it.

“Having lost on their assertion of the state secrets privilege, the government’s new refrain is heads you lose, tails we win,” the judge wrote.

The court case is rooted in an old squabble between the DEA and CIA operating overseas.

Horn claims Arthur Brown, the former CIA station chief in Burma, and Franklin Huddle Jr., the chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Burma, were trying to get him relocated because they disagreed with his work with Burmese officials on the country’s drug trade.

The CIA has not said in court filings whether or not it monitored Horn, but Horn claims he was monitored without lawful authority and in violation of his constitutional protection against unreasonable searches and seizures.

WASHINGTON — The government has agreed to pay $3 million to a former agent of the Drug Enforcement Administration who sued CIA officers for illegal eavesdropping

The proposed settlement followed a ruling by U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth in July that CIA officials committed fraud to protect a former covert agent against the eavesdropping allegations.

The lawsuit was brought by former DEA agent Richard Horn, who says his home in Rangoon, Burma, was illegally wiretapped by the CIA in 1993. He says Arthur Brown, the former CIA station chief in Burma, and Franklin Huddle Jr., the chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Burma, were trying to get him transferred because they disagreed with his work with Burmese officials on the country’s drug trade.

Horn sued Brown and Huddle in 1994, seeking monetary damages for violating his civil rights. The CIA itself was a defendant in the lawsuit until early this year…..

Then-CIA Director George Tenet filed an affidavit asking that the case against Brown be dismissed because he was a covert agent whose identity was a state secret that must not be revealed in open court. Lamberth granted the CIA’s request and threw out the case against Brown in 2004.

Lamberth found out last year that Brown’s cover had been lifted in 2002, even though the CIA continued to file legal documents saying his status was covert. The judge found that the CIA intentionally misled the court and he reinstated the case against Brown.

The agreement in the case was revealed in court papers filed Tuesday night, and Lamberth will now consider whether to dismiss the suit. Under the proposed settlement, the government makes no admission as to whether the allegations in the lawsuit are true

WASHINGTON — Ahmed Wali Karzai, the brother of the president of Afghanistan, gets regular payments from the CIA and has for much of the past eight years, The New York Times reported Tuesday.

The newspaper said that according to current and former American officials, the CIA pays Karzai for a variety of services, including helping to recruit an Afghan paramilitary force that operates at the CIA’s direction in and around Kandahar.

The CIA’s ties to Karzai, who is a suspected player in the country’s illegal opium trade, have created deep divisions within the Obama administration, the Times said

Allegations that Karzai is involved in the drug trade have circulated in Kabul for months. He denies them.

Critics say the ties with Karzai complicate the United States’ increasingly tense relationship with his older brother, President Hamid Karzai. The CIA’s practices also suggest that the United States is not doing everything in its power to stamp out the lucrative Afghan drug trade, a major source of revenue for the Taliban.

Some American officials argue that the reliance on Ahmed Wali Karzai, a central figure in the south of the country where the Taliban is dominant, undermines the U.S. push to develop an effective central government that can maintain law and order and eventually allow the United States to withdraw.

“If we are going to conduct a population-centric strategy in Afghanistan, and we are perceived as backing thugs, then we are just undermining ourselves,” Maj. Gen. Michael T. Flynn, the senior American military intelligence official in Afghanistan, was quoted by the Times in an article published on its Web site.

Ahmed Wali Karzai told the Times that he cooperates with American civilian and military officials but does not engage in the drug trade and does not receive payments from the CIA.

Karzai helps the CIA operate a paramilitary group, the Kandahar Strike Force, that is used for raids against suspected insurgents and terrorists, according to several American officials. Karzai also is paid for allowing the CIA and American Special Operations troops to rent a large compound outside the city, which also is the base of the Kandahar Strike Force, the Times said.

Karzai also helps the CIA communicate with and sometimes meet with Afghans loyal to the Taliban, the newspaper reported.

CIA spokesman George Little declined to comment on the report.

“Ghulam Haider Hamidi, the mayor of Kandahar in southern Afghanistan where a large chunk of the new U.S. forces will be deployed, cited corruption — which Karzai has pledged to fight — as the worst problem facing his nation. “The biggest problem is corruption in the Afghan government, police and military but also in some of the companies coming from the United States, Canada and England and Germany,” Hamidi said. “There is corruption and drug dealing by the people who are in power, within the police and the military.”Hamidi said just last month he was told that Taliban were sleeping in the police barracks.”The police are taking money from both sides — the government and the Taliban,” he said. “When we have this kind of police and military, the Afghan problem won’t be solved in 20 years.””

What Hamidi had pointed directly to, is military subcontractors in the employ of CIA, the military and the police, all in bed with both narcotics trafficking and the Taliban.

Wali Karzai and Ghulam Haider Hamidi were both assassinated not long after, Wali Karzai because he was too ‘hot’ (his own CIA liaison killed him) and Ghulam Haider Hamidi because he was too clean ..

Well, Pepe Escobar is full of shit or full of himself (which is about the same thing.) Opium and heroin production in Afghanistan was never a sole business of the Northern Alliance. Walid Karzai was a Pashtun and key player in the narcotics trade operating out of the Pashtun majority Kandahar Province, the single most productive region of opium in Afghanistan. No Pashtun opium farmers in Kandahar? I don’t think so. No Pashtuns involved in the production and export of opium and heroin causing problems in Russia and Iran? I don’t think so. And the hundreds of on location Afghanistan heroin processing labs are not so much as mentioned by Escobar. Let’s also not forget Kandahar Province is historically renown as a Taliban sympathetic territory where narcotics trafficking and related corruption was to a point the Taliban were sleeping in the USA supported Afghanistan government’s police barracks:

Death of a MOSSAD Agent

Even with the best of agents, when operations run on the edge go wrong, they will always look bad. When an undercover operative is killed rather than the target, it is as about as bad as things can get, because the dead undercover operative can possibly be traced by both the penetrated organization and law enforcement. This is the likely outcome of a blown operation in which I’d been the target. My experience is reconstructed nearly verbatim from notes I’d made shortly after the event.

At Neu Koln, Berlin, when catching the U-7 subway south towards Rudow, I was standing at the underground kiosk buying breath fresheners when the train arrived. I quickly tried to complete the transaction but figured I would likely have to catch the next train. I noticed a group of young Arabs holding the door to the train open, preventing it’s departure, all (4) of them watching me, clearly it appeared as though they either expected me to catch that train or they would not be on it themselves.

The train consequently waited for me and I sprinted to the door they were holding for me and jumped between them, onboard. They let the door close as I turned 180 degrees rather than taking a seat, making them a group of five.

Standing facing them, holding a pole, all seemed surprised at my action. A shorter, darker one, then began to assail me in Arabic language as though I were expected to understand, this one initially took the lead and was most vehement and hostile, although a couple of the others were also saying quite angry things to me direct, also if expecting I would understand.

I simply looked at them all, eyes moving one to the other direct, and asked “Do you speak English?”

A tall member of the group, with light complexion on my right (all of them were facing me) and who did not become involved with the angry speech, indicated he did speak English with “Yes”

I asked “What country are you from?”

His indirect answer was to point to the most hostile one, the short grubby one who was wearing an Israeli Defense Force battle fatigue shirt as though it were a trophy, and stated “He is Palestinian.”

He made this a clear distinction. My guess was the one who’d made this statement and the 2 others (all taller, better dressed and lighter complexion than the ‘Palestinian’) were Hezbollah aligned Lebanese, there is a large Lebanese community in that area.

I said to the short hostile one, emphatically: “You’re Palestinian? I apologize to you for George Bush!”

That one statement changed everything. All of them went silent and the ‘Palestinian’ never said another word.

I then said: “There are many good people in my country who don’t like what is happening, it is a difficult situation.”

From this moment and comment, the now totally silent (and clear outsider) ‘Palestinian’ became the target of the Lebanese, while they checked out my reactions to their terrorizing the ‘Palestinian’, the focus of their hostility had shifted away from me.

What happened now was really interesting. One of the Lebanese is suddenly is getting on his cell phone and making a call… while the groups leader, the tall one to my right, looks at me while pointing to the ‘Palestinian’ who is suddenly looking very ill, and says “Maybe he is Israeli” while assessing my reaction.

I deliberately made myself look surprised and suspicious, raised one eyebrow at the ‘Palestinian’ and said “Israeli Arab?” as though I both: did not fully understand and did not like the idea or somehow found it disconcerting.

The train had made a brief stop and a fifth Arab (Lebanese) joined us with a cell phone and greeting the other Lebanese but not the ‘Palestinian’ who had simply become demoralized with a now clearly frightened look. The new arrival had some conversation in Arabic with the tall on my right, after a hand/fist greeting that, by gesture and look, was attempting to sort some things that needed sorting.

The new arrival is now on his phone while also talking to the tall one to my right, but interrupts his conversation with the tall Lebanese and asks me “Where are you from? England?” almost as to test my veracity, his English skills would know, and I clearly answered “USA.”

I was asked “Where do you stay?”

I stated as a matter of fact “Berlin”

Then I was asked: “Do you speak German” and I answered “Only a little” .. whereas the tall one to my right gave an absolutely evil look at the ‘Palestinian’ and said slowly, deliberately, “My German is VERY good.” [I’ve often wondered at the significance of that statement]

The new one and the tall one looked at each other, spoke again in Arabic and then the tall one suggested to me while rubbing the ‘Palestinians’ belly “Maybe he is a good boy for sex. What do you think?”

Now the ‘Palestinian’ had the absolute look of ‘I am going to die’ on his face as I answered emphatically, with the culturally correct “I am a good man!” and an offended look (I wore silver studs in my ears at that time and likely had been falsely profiled to MOSSAD as gay)

Suddenly the tall Lebanese, with my answer, made a violent stabbing motion with his right hand at the ‘Palestinian’ while shouting (nearly screaming) to the new arrival “The Israeli must be killed!!”

The Lebanese closed around the ‘Palestinian’ with looks of shock and rage on their faces, when the train stopped, they shoved him off the train together with stepping off themselves. I assure you all, the ‘Palestinian’ did not live long after this interrogation, at most a matter of hours.

Now, I noticed the Germans on the train, men looking straight ahead, no expression, several women had looks of absolute terror on their faces, it had been that intense.

The ‘Palestinian’ was clearly not one of the group in any sense of intimate acquaintance or typical association. He was dressed a bit shabbily, wearing the IDF olive drab fatigue jacket with a Hebrew lettered tag over the left pocket. The Lebanese were all clean, well dressed, of a better class, and obviously educated and intelligent. The ‘Palestinian’ had gone from initiator of the groups hostilities towards me, to the groups target in this course of events lasting about 10 minutes. I expected I could have died. Clearly, the posed as a ‘Palestinian’ MOSSAD agent had died instead.

This was a failed scheme (compromised operation) of using the ‘Palestinian’, almost certainly a Sephardic MOSSAD agent fluent in Arab language and culture, under false pretext to dupe Hezbollah aligned people into assisting with a hit in a difficult operational area (Arab neighborhood.) Between my survival skills (training) confronting the circumstance with dialogue, and Hezbollah’s obvious caution, the Israeli operative, in a sense, literally cut his own throat. He was not prepared for my direct engagement.

With the CIA or MOSSAD (your choice) having decided to leak the fact clandestine operations of the two agencies have established a certain degree of fusion, released as a psychological ploy (neither agency is particularly bright these days), it brought into perspective a phenomena I had puzzled over for some time; how it was I’d drawn the attempted lethal attention of both institutions in a matter of two weeks (in the Fall of 2007.) A case of leaked accountability to Newsweek magazine establishes the CIA & MOSSAD were initiating joint assassinations by February, 2008. In actuality, my case establishes they were already jointly pursuing targets four months previous to this, in October, 2007.

MOSSAD is bound to a code of conduct which requires avenging a loss. I would simply point out to the Israelis, at what price? What had happened in the aftermath of this failed operation had been MOSSAD coming after me with a vengeance. The question MOSSAD should have looked at is, did CIA and ‘associates’ calculatedly omit the fact of my exceptional training, as well the fact I had repeatedly surprised and neutralized or reversed previous operations mounted against myself prior to this event? By now MOSSAD should understand their several subsequent failures can be no accident. No one is that lucky.

People should learn to take responsibility for their mistakes as opposed to doubling-down with attempts based on a moral & tactical failure. As a matter of fact I do not celebrate the MOSSAD man’s death; nor do I regret it. After all, it was not myself initiated the deadly encounter.

A closing note: I would point out to the radicalized-nationalist Israelis, and MOSSAD is populated with these, with a gross history of policy failures, the nature of psychology is, when you have made a mistake, you must correct yourself, to stay a correct course of action. Otherwise, mistakes become complications and complications lead to making by far more serious mistakes:

Crusaders and Complicity

“Onward Christian Soldiers” is a popular hymn in the more conservative churches of 21^st Century America:

“Onward Christian soldiers, marching as to war, with the cross of Jesus, going as before”

I recall this hymn from my childhood, it did not require any refreshing of my memory, I did not have to look up the lyrics. These are lyrics our Pentagon have taken to heart.

Here is example of this hymn’s inspiring hate in the most lethal military in today’s world:

“Michael Weinstein. You and the mfrr have nothing better to do than bully and fight the Christian soldiers who built this nation. From the wreckage of the indian savages? And made it the only shining light of the world? Have you forgotten history? Our soldiers are made strong because of their faith in Jesus Christ and Christianity. When America’s soldiers are strong America is strong. I am such a soldier. Proud of my Savior and the USA. One among many in my unit who know you for what you truely are. A bunch of us at chapel watched some of the speeches you gave. On you tube. We all noticed how much you resemeble the devil. Seriously you do. And you have the devils slippery powers of false persuasion too. You and the devil both hate Christ. You and the devil are the losers. You will both have hell as your home for all ages to come. Your life is totally a waste. Mr. Weinstein give it up and surrender to the Word of Christ. Our fighting forces fight with Jesus as our Lord and leader in all things. Deal with it. You try to mess with that and you totally deserve to suffer. Your fallen childrens deserve to suffer. Your fallen wife deserves to suffer. Your fallen parents deserve to suffer. What better evidence of crusaders than a meeting held in a United States military chapel instigating hate against the one man in America who’d taken a stand against the Christian extremist takeover of the United States military.

And then:

Notice that on top of the 1^st hate mail directed at the Military Religious Freedom Foundation leader Michael Weinstein referring to “Indian savages”, the 2^nd mail refers to that foundation’s work to protect (among others) the rights of Muslims.

In this context it is not a stretch at all to draw a comparison; the ordained minister Colonel Chivington’s massacre of the peaceful Cheyenne chief Black Kettle’s village at Sand Creek, Colorado and the torture and murder of thousands of Muslims in Iraq by James Steele at the direction of Rumsfeld & Cheney, under the supervision of General David Patraeus, as recently exposed in a lengthy documentary by the Guardian.

What is missing from the western democracies dialogue is American actions that inspire the terror aimed at us.   We have our Iraq legacy of mass murders, torture, rape and humiliation by American military, and the perpetrators are not held accountable for the most part. We saw the occasional prosecution of a low level soldier or a few, but the generals associated with the systematic abuses, examples given Patraeus and McChrystal, effectively are immune, the proper term is impunity.

Whether Patraeus’ ‘dirty war’ death squad veterans, or McChrystal’s Camp Nama abuses, et cetera, the responsible parties have walked free.   In Afghanistan, featuring the same players, there have been numerous crimes as well. There, American (CIA associated or coordinated) special operations forces have basically behaved as they pleased, with their special status independent of normal NATO command structures.

Mix this up with mercenaries (CIA hires called “counter-terrorism pursuit teams”) and you get what we’ve seen; school boys bound and executed, families murdered including pregnant women with bullets cut out of their bodies to cover the tracks of their special operations killers, and the most recent event where a CIA officer running a paramilitary team was killed (the real story behind this next linked article’s spin) and the result was an act of spite in violation of the rules of war; an air strike called in that killed ten kids and a couple of women sheltering with them. These are not isolated incidents but representative of that war, with multiple cases, year in and year out.   Why?

Extreme Christian fundamentalism overtaking our officer corps and security apparatus, the radical right “Officers Christian Fellowship” and such stellar cretans as Pentagon darling William Boykin, a poster child example; as well fundamentalist generals Patraeus and McChrystal with CIA associated special operations background, examples given.

When Muslims are not really considered human beings, the rules of war are not taken seriously consequently and with this infection spreading, it should be no surprise a dozen civilians, kids and women, who’d fled to the roof of a building Taliban had taken refuge in, in a firefight, do not stand in the way of a bomb dropped on that building consequently. This (or similar actions) have happened time and time again.

It could have been young men from any ethnic background having to do with consequently radicalized Islam inspired to strike back in Boston.   Until this is a part of a new and international dialogue, and there is a consequent accountability, terror aimed at Americans particularly, and western democracies generally, will only rise.

German Interior Minister Han Peter Friedrich has stated:

“In Boston all indications are pointing to a dangerous phenomenon, which is causing us growing concern. Instead of large organizations, we will now be attacked by lone wolves and small groups who radicalize themselves. That is very unsettling”

This statement had been made in a context of video surveillance aimed at prevention of attacks, which is a band-aid fix in a case of a patient with cancer. I can personally assure you all, the German authorities have known about the egregious hate crimes against Islam as a whole by NATO associated American military, for quite some years, transited through American military bases situated on sovereign German territory; Ramstein, to name but one facility.

The Germans have also known for quite some time, Obama’s ‘look forward, not back’ policy of shielding international criminals has as much as anything to do with the top American leadership compromised and corrupt to the core.

FBI Director Robert Mueller had been central to covering up the terrorism money laundering BCCI scandal, Attorney General Eric Holder had been at the center of arranging concealing the identities of American corporate personalities who provided cash and machine guns to the right-wing Colombian AUC death squads who went on to murder approximately 4,000 people, and Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts was not only appointed by Bush but is a personal friend of the lawyer who was Dick Cheney’s vice presidential general counsel when Cheney was engaged in his international crime spree.

The Germans also know justice will not be forthcoming from the USA, particularly now that Obama himself is compromised by deeds committed under advisement of his ‘counter-terrorism’ advisor (and now CIA Director) John Brennan.

I hate to think Germany is shirking its historic responsibility to confront these behaviors in NATO, despite the fact Germany has a law:

The Völkerstrafgesetzbuch or VStGB (“international criminal code”) is the German law that regulates the crimes against public international law. It was created to bring the German criminal law into accordance with the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. It was announced on 26 June 2002 and became law 30 June 2002. It covers the following offenses:

Genocide (§ 6)
Crimes against humanity (§ 7)
War crimes (§§ 8–12)

None of these are subject to a statute of limitations.

This law has NOT been applied by Germany, for reasons that must be construed as rank political cowardice. This is a primary reason this complaint to the International Criminal Court may be found to have standing. Germany should be obliged to apply this law or to be found complicit in these crimes.

North Carolina’s 2nd secession from the Union

North Carolina’s proposed new law:

SECTION 1. The North Carolina General Assembly asserts that the Constitution of the United States of America does not prohibit states or their subsidiaries from making laws respecting an establishment of religion.

SECTION 2. The North Carolina General Assembly does not recognize federal court rulings which prohibit and otherwise regulate the State of North Carolina, its public schools, or any political subdivisions of the State from making laws respecting an establishment of religion.

It could be claimed the seed of this had been planted when our federal judiciary had ruled the first ten amendments (our so-called ‘Bill of Rights’) were originally ‘unincorporated’ to our constitution, despite our ‘supremacy clause’ pointing out our Federal Constitution is applicable to the states in its entirety with this language; “This Constitution and the laws made in pursuance thereof; .. shall be the SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND .. ANY THING IN THE CONSTITUTIONS OR LAWS OF THE STATES TO THE CONTRARY NOTWITHSTANDING”

The ‘supremacy clause’ is reinforced by the Ninth and Tenth Amendments placement following the ‘enumerated rights’ of the first through eighth amendments. The key here is the Ninth Amendment’s words ‘un-enumerated rights’ or rights that have not been spelled out in the first eight amendments, may not be “disparaged” relating to the “people.” Our founders did not state ‘solely people in a federal jurisdiction’, and they did not because the federal constitution’s rights extended to us all, and only after these rights had been secured did they reserve any ‘powers’ to the states (in the Tenth Amendment.) Any idea it was the Fourteenth Amendment (portions of which our current Chief Justice, John Roberts, ignores at will) somehow ‘incorporated’ certain limited rights, was a stretch of the imagination the great Justice William J. Brennan rejected.

A ‘federal’ right (including our right to a secular state with no official religion) in the original context used by our founders meant a right extending to all the people of the states “any thing in the Constitutions or laws of the States notwithstanding” but self serving special interests federal jurists would subsequently construe a federal right to extend to a strictly federal geographic or federal court’s jurisdiction, to split certain rights away from “the people” so they could say when, how or even if, the Bill of Rights applies, or that is when any right had been ‘incorporated’ and became applicable outside of any federal jurisdiction.

Now this has been flipped by North Carolina; if they were to argue the perverted idea our Bill of Rights did not originally extend to the states but were strictly limited to federal jurisdiction, these morons should either win their argument or put the federal judiciary’s idea of incorporated versus unincorporated amendments in the true light of their twisted special interests logic, further undermining our rule of law on account of those same federal court’s decisions.

For example, if the so-called ‘unincorporated’ Seventh Amendment..

“In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law”

..governing civil suits, is recognized solely as an unincorporated ‘federal right’ and is not extended to the people of the states (according to the federal courts), it has set up this question; if the Seventh Amendment cannot be guaranteed to the people of the states because it is solely a federal right, how can the First Amendment’s promise no law may be made establishing or prohibiting a religion, be an inviolate right of people under a states jurisdiction?

Our federal judiciary and North Carolina’s bid for Christian supremacy, both, have thoroughly trashed our constitution.

Do you suppose next will be a proposed North Carolina law establishing an official state color of person as White? And following on that, an official state sex, Male?

But then, consider the USA’s top three law enforcement personalities are criminal mentalities in their own right; Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts runs in Dick Cheney’s circle of professional associates, Attorney General Eric Holder put together a sweetheart deal to conceal the identities of the people who provided cash and machine guns to the death squads of the right-wing AUC Colombian terrorist group used to murder 4,000 union sympathetic people on behalf of Bush family friend Carl Lindner’s Chiquita corporation, and FBI Director Robert Mueller was a central player in covering up money laundering for terrorism related weapons and narcotics traffickers in the Bank of Commerce and Credit International (BCCI) scandal, it should be small wonder state officials would expect they can put our rule of law according to our constitution through a paper-shredder, you think?

Arab Spring: A modern fable

Observation: So long as political lies are a protected form of speech as opposed to felonies, democracy is only as factual as any liar(s) controlling the apparatus of state-

When politicians serve up a platter of lies to the world, as Obama, Cameron and Hollande have presented what is happening in Syria, who then are we to think democracy is superior to a dictator? The soon to more than 100,000 dead Syrians and already over one million refugees, are by far more the work of western democracies paramilitary intelligence operations than Assad’s so-called Arab Spring ‘crackdown’ which would have been long over were it not for ‘democracies’ support for the ‘resistance.’ In fact, ‘democracy’ has already murdered more Syrians, by far, than Assad, left alone, ever would have. But first, a thumbnail sketch of what can only be described as an Arab Spring sandstorm, a literally blinding event.

Our fable begins with WikiLeaks and released diplomatic cables as the demiurge creating a universal movement for democracy in the Arab world. Meanwhile, Julian Assange has been the house guest of Miss Egypt, that nations number one corporate prostitute whose commercial sponsor (Pantene) ties directly to Procter and Gamble, a major supporter of FOX NEWS. Amy Goodman sucks up Assange’s story of Miss Egypt’s concerns for social justice and how he managed live with her literally wedged into American security, and what he was up to unbeknownst to them:

Amy Goodman: “You lived in Egypt for a time”

Julian Assange: “I lived in Egypt during 2007, so I’m familiar with the Mubarak regime and the tensions within the Egyptian environment. Actually, I was staying at the time, rather unusual circumstance, I was staying in Ms. Egypt’s house. And, Ms. Egypt’s house – other than having paintings of Ms. Egypt all throughout – was clustered right between the U.S. Embassy and the U.N. High Commission with a van outside fueled with 24 soldiers in front of my front door. So, for the type of work we were doing, this seemed to be the ultimate cover to be nested right amongst this”

NOT. You don’t live with neo-conservative Procter and Gamble’s premier Arab World corporate prostitute located between buildings crawling with American, United Nations, and Egyptian security & intelligence, other than with an official nod of approval. I think we’ll find out now who was ‘providing cover.’

How did Egypt’s ‘Spring’ pan out? Known CIA front ‘Freedom House’ (ever since rogue CIA officer Phillip Agee, among others, had fingered the agitators behind so-called ‘color revolutions’) and associated organizations such as the National Democratic Institute, had been training the leadership of the initial secular student and youth movement, with apple technology for revolutionary coordinating purposes. Meanwhile, the Mubarak regime had been provided all the necessary electronic snooping technology to analyze, identify and isolate the secular movement’s leadership, they were rounded up and sent off to USA torture darling Omar Sulieman’s jails. The Muslim Brotherhood stepped in and hijacked the revolution they had initially refused to support, together with taking over the new constitutional process, perfectly happy the secular movement had been marginalized for them. The Brotherhood now wrote the secular movement out of the ‘democratic’ process. The result being, the USA does business in Egypt with the Muslim Brotherhood as the ‘legitimate’ government. Meanwhile, the predecessor Mubarak regime’s CIA ‘renditions to torture’ darling Omar Sulieman falls ‘ill’ and is whisked away to the United States for treatment where he dies, silencing a seriously problematic witness. With friends like the CIA…

Now, let’s move over to Libya. Gaddafi is a problem for France and Britain because after his ‘rehabilitation’, he’s not buying high end weapons packages to enrich those nations armaments industries and after all, Gaddafi has maintained his relationships with Syria and Iran. Other than torturing CIA and British MI6 renditioned prisoners, the new business arrangement with Libya is not working out.

Gaddafi is not handing over his oil industry for thorough exploitation, he’s kept Libya out of debt to the IMF, so no leverage there. Libyans live in a society approaching the American middle class standard of living. If you’re not particularly political, you have no problems, there is freedom to travel abroad, free university , women’s emancipation that is radical by Arab world standards and Libya is stable. But it is ‘spring time’ in the Arab world and Gaddafi is not performing political fellatio on the western democracies. Suddenly there is armed resistance in the vicinity of the border with Egypt, France’s neo-con ‘moral conscience’, Bernard-Henri Lévy, gives Nicolas Sarkozy a political blow-job, claiming a failure to intervene in Libya for ‘humanitarian’ reasons “would be a stain on the flag of France.” Sarkozy calls Hillary Clinton and not long after, the cruise missiles are raining down.

The result? Libya is a collection of competing tribal militias, standard of living, free travel and women’s emancipation vanished, Christine Lagarde, at the International Monetary Fund, spontaneously orgasms her pants at the IMF’s prospective new bond servant, Libya’s arsenal is scattered with western intelligence agencies delivering the one half of Gaddafi’s surplus weapons to ‘rebels’ in Syria, the other half of the weapons have found their way into the hands of jihadis across North Africa and a direct result is the war in Mali and more to come across the region and with no end in sight. Oh, but the Pentagon apologizes for failing to instill any standard of human decency in the Malian army it had trained, as that army goes on a war crimes rampage. “We’re sorry.”

Meanwhile, in Bahrain, the majority Shia population is brutally repressed and the USA wrings its hands and sheds a crocodile tear for public consumption as doctors and nurses who’d dared to treat wounded protestors are jailed for decades and the USA’s 5^th Fleet remains securely ensconced there. This is because there will be ZERO actual pressure brought to bear on the corrupt sheik’s ruling minority, when neighboring Wahabi Saudi Arabia is the western democracies enforcer, with weapons and intelligence supplied by, you might have guessed it, none other than the very same western democracies, propping up Bahrain.

Now we can arrive back at Syria where the three stooges, the USA, France and Britain, all have had ongoing paramilitary intelligence operations employed to foment revolution to overthrow Assad since the beginning of the so-called ‘Arab Spring.’ The result? The soon to be 100,000 dead Syrians, with one million refugees already, projected to swell to three million refugees within a year, sectarian civil war, atrocities on all sides and extreme jihadis are the most competent, disciplined and well armed of the so-called ‘rebel’ (actually mercenary) militias. These extreme Wahabi ‘Salafi’ sect are drawn out of Al Qaida ranks in neighboring Iraq, and had been armed by the western democracies allies Qatar & Saudi Arabia. All initially organized via intelligence operations sourced in the USA, France and Britain.

Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and Save the Children, all cheer this ‘humanitarian violence’ on with finger pointing at the Syrians and the Assad regime particularly, but nothing is said about the underlying cause and here is why; former Amnesty International (USA) board director Francis Boyle had stated:

“My conclusion was that a high-level official of Amnesty International at that time, whom I will not name, was a British intelligence agent. Moreover, my fellow board member, who also investigated this independently of me, reached the exact same conclusion. So certainly when I am dealing with people who want to work with Amnesty in London, I just tell them, “Look, just understand, they’re penetrated by intelligence agents, U.K., maybe U.S., I don’t know, but you certainly can’t trust them”

In fact these human rights agencies are shilling propaganda at the populace of the western democracies on behalf of the very people who’d initiated, and are largely responsible for, the travesty of Syria. How sorely these intelligence co-opted ‘humanitarian’ agencies need us to perceive Assad as the sole or at least primary responsible monster, because:

The western democracies having had already arranged for the ‘rebels’ to be armed and the result is Islamists empowered and now they have to find a way out of the fine and deadly chaos the USA, France and Britain had created when it turns out Syria has not only been destroyed by their incompetent endeavors, but their by far more dangerous (than Assad ever was) enemy presently has the upper hand to gain control in the final outcome. But if you buy this line of patent BS that ‘secular rebels’ need strengthening, you not only assure the downfall of Assad, you also plunge Syria into a post Assad regime civil war with no end in sight. The Saudi (Wahabi) support for the Western democracies meddling in Syria has its own agenda, the Saudi alliance with the Western democracies is one of in bed together for self serving interests, and has nothing to do with common values. The western democracies militarily prop up a corrupt Saudi regime with medieval social values and the democracies are assured their addiction to oil is not threatened. Employing Qatar and the Saudis to launder weapons to Syrian ‘rebels’ was the leadership of the western democracies begging for an anal rape by a misogynist, gynophobic regime with a mentality firmly rooted in the dark ages.

Other than Wahabi jihadis, the winners in this wanton murder of the people of Syria are those corporate boards that sponsor the likes of Julian Assange’s liaison ‘Miss Egypt’ and FOX NEWS. ‘Christian Dominion’ corporate board personalities you commonly see at The Federalist Society, with names like Dick Cheney, Shannen Coffin, John Roberts and Condoleezza Rice. People like Blackwater’s ‘ethics advisor’ John Ashcroft, anywhere and everywhere profit from chaos enriching criminals believing in fascism, these people feel justified and blessed.

Meanwhile, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and Save the Children see the money pour in as highly placed officials in those organizations draw a second salary from intelligence agencies, and so they are blessed as well.

And not only neo-cons but neo-liberal serial-killers of nations Hillary Clinton and ‘middle east envoy’ Tony Blair who concealed his conversion to Catholic fundamentalism from the British people until he was out of office. He must be having wet dreams over Syria and wishing he could climb into bed with Cameron.

The armaments industry is blessed. The private security modern mercenary industry, employing ‘Christian Dominion’ commandos who are veterans of the western democracies special operations forces are blessed. Since Iraq, prospective business has never looked this good.

The nearly twenty thousand extreme ‘Christian Dominion’ fundamentalist members of the “Officers’ Christian Fellowship” whose senior members control the Pentagon, as documented by the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, are feeling exceedingly blessed. Their apocalyptic vision of Armageddon precipitating the literal return of Jesus seems within reach. The likes of American Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice, who never encountered a proposed intervention she did not approve and will go on to become ultra rich in the private/corporate security apparatus, are blessed. People who either believe in or would profit from literal Armageddon, feel blessed.

In the end, ‘Le grand canard’ is an interesting expression, possible translations from the original French could include; ‘a big duck’, ‘the great hoax’ or ‘a grand fable.’

The Arab Spring overall, meets the definition ‘great hoax’ and the present public posturing (political lies) of Barack Obama, David Cameron and Francois Hollande, claiming a sudden and urgent need to arm the ‘rebels’, as though they had not arranged this already, precisely meets the definition of a ‘grand fable.’ Or perhaps merely a collective insanity in a nuclear armed world led by mediocre mentalities whose claims to leadership are founded on little more than an incompetent and self-serving narcissism.

And the biggest ‘duck’ in all of this is WikiLeaks, the factual outcomes point to WikiLeaks as a criminal enterprise unleashing chaos. Who has actually profited from the actions of WikiLeaks? Neo-con corporate boards populated by personalities who proliferate weapons sales worldwide. Police state apparatus with renewed/accelerated geo-political instability justifying greater ‘security’ expenditures via rationale of social disorder and attending ‘terror’ fear-mongering. All of the preceding overlapping at “The Family” of “C Street” infamy, whose ‘Christian Dominion’ personalities are as insane as Hitler’s inner circle ever were, now more firmly entrenched than ever, and forever indebted to Julian Assange.

I would suppose the typical western mentality would normally, happily, imagine ‘Spring’ to be a time of blossoming landscapes. But they have failed to recognize any ‘Arab Spring’ is a season and geography of sandstorms.
